Hayek told Entertainment Tonight that she is proud to share her stunning photographs because she finds them "liberating," and has no regrets in defying the convention of posting bikini photos at her age.

Hayek added, "I'm glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it.” As for the response she gets from others, the actress joked that "People are sick of it, but I'm going to let them take a break."

The self-confidence Hayek carries at age 56 is a rarity in Hollywood, and it isn't the first time she has gone against typical beauty standards.

The star has openly shared her grey hair on Instagram and on The Oscar's red carpet, telling the New York Times, "I don’t want to spend what’s left of my youth pretending I’m younger."

Hayak openly discussed her feelings about ageing with Jada Pinkett Smith in a June 2021 episode of Red Table Talk. And if the constant bikini selfies aren't a dead giveaway, in short, she totally embraces it.

In the episode on motherhood, menopause and marriage, Hayek shared, "There's no expiration dates for women. That has to go. Because you can kick ass at any age. You can hold your own at any age, you can dream at any age, you can be romantic at age."

Hayek continued in the clip, "We have the right to be loved for who we are at the place that we are. We're not just here to make babies, we're not just here to baby the man. We're not just here to service everything and everyone around us and then when the kids go away … it's almost like expiration date for you as a woman. It's a misunderstanding that has been going around for centuries."

This is encouraging because it means Hayak has no plans to stop posting bikini photos. They represent a welcome departure from Hollywood's imposed expiration date for women, more than just an aspirational lifestyle and we're totally here for it.

She explained: 'Over the past couple years, I've made my implants smaller, I've tried to make everything smaller because I just like the more natural look and I feel like you get caught up when you're younger. You grow up, you change, you learn things, you see things differently.'

During another recent interview with E! News, Anastasia opened up about dealing with fame and her large social media following.

She explained that negative comments used to affect her, but has learned to remain confident and true to herself. 'I used to read every comment and see what everyone said about me, and just sit there and dwell in it.'

'I try not to listen to it. I know who I am as a person, and I just focus on that,' the influencer added to the publication.

'Focus on who you are and focus on what's within and let that shine through,' while also expressing, 'You're allowed to have bad days, you're allowed to not feel super confident. But don't let what people say bring you down.'

'So, to me, losing him was not something I fully understood. Mike was my superhero figure in my life. I just assumed he'd come back, I didn't believe that he was dead for a period of time.

'And you know, as time passed, I understood I would never see him again. I've always had this burning desire to find him. And obviously I understood through my teenage years, how complicated that would be.

'I'm not a particularly externally emotional person. I can't really remember the last time I cried. I'm a very black and white character who just deals with issues when I face them.

'I became very close with people on that mountain and they came home, you know, one of the lads lost 20 kilos because he was there the whole time, and he was different, you know, he came back and was affected by it.'

Spencer - who shares children Theodore, four, Gigi, two, and Otto, six months, with his wife Vogue Williams - continued: 'Otto was five days old when I left for Everest for five weeks. I had nothing but support from Vogue. Vogue was so on board with it and so proud that we were doing it.

'And she feels really close to Michael having never met him, of course, and was deeply emotionally touched by the whole thing.'

Taking to Instagram, the former Love Island star, 30, shared a series of snaps after docking at the picturesque island during her romantic sea-cation.

Amy dressed her bump in an eye-catching orange and green bikini with a blended effect, that boasted a cross-over front and matching string bottoms.

The mother-to-be posed for the sweet snaps with her boyfriend after spending the day at a swanky hotel in the island, a brief respite from their cruising holiday.

Amy captioned her post: 'It's not what it looks like, I haven't actually swallowed a beach ball ⛱ we spent the day at the Renaissance hotel in Curaçao which was $40 each for the day with $20 redeemable on food and drinks!

'It's a really cool man made beach where the sea is also an infinity pool?!? We didn't book in advance just turned up!'

Amy, who is due to give birth on March 5, 2023, revealed her pregnancy news in August.

Last month Amy admitted that she was feeling 'deflated' ahead of her 20-week scan, because she wants her baby to be born sooner.

Amy wrote: '20 weeks of growing a human!! I'll be honest (as I always strive to be..) as much as this mornings scan was amazing, we saw so much (but covered our eyes at the right times so we didn't see the gender!)

'I feel a little bit deflated this evening…but for all the right reasons! This last week I've been so so excited, the most excited I've been the whole time but I feel like I've been pregnant for aaaaggeess now and I've got to do the whole thing again and I just wanna have the baby here nowwww!!! (Veruca Salt vibes ✌)'

Amy added that she will be keeping busy and has booked herself onto a variety of courses until the baby arrives.

She said: 'I've just booked our NCT course, hypnobirthing and paediatric first aid courses so hopefully that'll make some time go faster!!

'Has anyone else felt like this or am I an ungrateful weirdo?'

Amy and Sam's announcement came just months after she spoke about her decision to freeze her eggs.

She explained that after sharing her fertility journey with the ITV programme in the past, it was 'the only place to announce I'm pregnant', before she took to Instagram to release snaps of her baby scan.

Amy was rushed home from her holiday in Spain after suffering a pregnancy scare in September.

Amy said: 'I started bleeding and I thought I was A+ blood type and my midwife kept saying it's a good job I am that blood type.

'She said if I was a negative blood type then I would need an Anti-D but go and get checked out on Monday.

'So I was being Amy positive and Sam was amazing and every time I went for a wee he'd ask for the update and did a lot of research, he's the best.

'I was being very positive and thought it was nothing bad but just because I had been for a cervical exam and thought that's all it is.

The former air hostess continued: 'I said to myself, 'We'll be back here next September with our baby'.

'The next morning, Sam said 'It's OK to be anxious about these things, you know'. I told him 'No, I'm not anxious. Don't accuse me of being anxious, I'm positive'.'

Amy found out her blood type after her mother opened her hospital letter while she was on holiday, which meant she had to hurry back home and began to 'panic'.

The TV personality explained that she had rhesus negative blood meaning she needed an 'injection within 72 hours' to develop an immune response to it.
