Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev Pose in Swimsuits on a Happy Birthday

Julianne Hough is celebrating her best friend, Nina Dobrev, on her birthday – by sharing photos of the duo in their swimsuits. In a new social media post the dancer-slash-actress shows off her incredible body in a bathing suit alongside her Vampire Diaries pal. "Today marks another year around the sun for one of the brightest lights!" she captioned the series of instagram snaps.

"I love to make every moment a luxury experience," Hough told Women's Health. "Whether it's in the bathtub and having bubbles and meditation music playing and my crystals and whatever it is, or I'm in the shower and I'm just rushing out through the day, at least I know that I'm being taken care of in the best way possible."

Hough is also a fan of regular body scans. What is a body scan? She explained to Pure Wow that it is a form of guided meditation practice that has you lie down, stay aware of your breath, and mindfully soften each part of your body, from head to toe. "I love meditating and doing energy work," she said. "It really helps me get out of my head and into my body."

"I love making sure my environment is like, candles lit or incense burning, just to create the experience and get my mindset in a really calming way, so I can self-regulate before I get crazy again with work stuff," Hough told Women's Health .

"Pilates, yoga, working out with a trainer," are a few of Hough's workouts. She likes to maintain variety with exercise because "it keeps everything fresh and helps me fuel my body's different needs," she told Shape. "Recovery is also a second workout to me," she added. "We always think about the fact that we have to push, push, push, but without that recovery, it leads to burnout. It's about that balance. I think we haven't focused enough on recovery in the athletic or the artistic athlete (dancers)."

"Just like my weight, the timing fluctuates [laughs]. I try to go to bed at ten and on good nights, I am able to. For the most part, I crawl into bed at ten and watch a TV show or a movie and fall asleep by 11:30 p.m. or midnight. Not bad, but it could be better," Dobrev told The Cut about bedtime. "I also sleep with a sound machine. Sound machines are my secret weapon because they drown out any noise and keep you in this even-keeled environment that's peaceful and chill."

Nina has another "trick" up her sleeve when it comes to sleep. "Chamomile tea," she said. "Those are my tricks. I don't count sheep or anything." Numerous studies have shown that a variety of teas may boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off cancer and heart disease.

"To unwind at night," Nina might watch something on Netflix. "Or I'll read. I recently finished Cat Marnell's How to Murder Your Life," she told Harper's Bazaar. Why should you read at night? One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Nina's health hack for not looking tired? "I was on a vampire show for a very, very long time, so we shot at night and [I] didn't sleep very much," she told Vogue. "One thing that I learned recently is that dark circles appear because you're dehydrated, so it's important to drink a lot of water."

Fitness Tammy Hembrow is reminding fans and followers that working out is as much about feeling good as it is about looking good

Fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow is reminding fans and followers that working out is as much about feeling good as it is about looking good. Hembrow, 29, shared a video of herself wearing two-piece workout outfits, using heavy dumbbells. "Remember we all start somewhere. For me training isn't just about aesthetics, it's about the strength & mental gain I get from it. That strong feeling ???? nothing quite like it. @womensbest creatine has always been a part of my journey & definitely has helped with my goals along the way," she captioned the post.

Hembrow fits her workouts around her family. "I honestly feel better when I get my workout in, less sluggish and I find it easier to keep up with my kids," the mother-of-two tells Women's Health. "Whether it's a gym workout or HIIT home workout I always try to fit it in when I can. I will often do some workouts from my at home booty program – you only need dumbbells, or I will do a HIIT workout in the lounge room. I recently posted an at home HIIT workout on my YouTube channel. I did it in the process of moving house when I was really feeling the need for a pick-me-up. There was a lot going on that week and I was feeling it, I decided to film and post it on my channel to show how I can fit in a quick workout throughout your day."

Hembrow had to fine-tune her diet to get enough protein. "For me lean protein like chicken breast, turkey and fish, really helps, but I find that with trying to build my booty I wasn't consuming the amount of protein I needed so supplements like protein shakes helped too," she tells Women's Health. "But I didn't supplement my meals with these, it was always a combination of both. I needed to eat lots to build that area so I also ate lots of complex carbohydrates like brown rice, oatmeal, potatoes and healthy fats. I eat every two to three hours. For breakfast I usually eat oats with Women's Best protein powder. I always have protein shakes after my workouts and love to eat fish, chicken, turkey, beans and vegetables. I've been trying to cut back on meat lately which I have found difficult. I usually end my day with oats and protein again. Boring I know!"

Hembrow kept working out throughout her pregnancies. "What helped me bounce back is definitely how I ate and trained as I was pregnant," Hembrow said. "I ate very clean, I had a lot of veggies, a lot of protein, and I tried to only limit my treats to the weekends, so during the weekdays I was eating clean all the time. What kept me going is how I wanted to look after the baby. I knew I wanted to get fit again after the baby, and be in the best shape I could be, so I wanted to make it easier for myself by staying active while I was pregnant."

Hembrow wore a postpartum binder to help get back into shape again. "For about a week or so, I wore a postpartum binder — they gave me one at the hospital," she says. "I definitely didn't just snap back to my pre-baby body once I stepped out of the hospital, you still look pregnant when you step out of the hospital. I wasn't in a rush or anything, but as soon as I got home I was eating clean, I was wearing the postpartum binder, and then I started working out about six weeks after the birth."

Hembrow has learned to go with the flow since having children. "Being a mum and running a business is still a juggling act for me, I honestly just try my best to manage my time and plan but as a mom, you know that sometimes planning goes out the window," she tells Women's Best. "I've definitely learned not to beat myself up about failure. You can't do everything right all the time, failing is a part of being a parent and a business owner. You learn from your mistakes and you're often smarter from it. I guess you could say becoming a mum made me more resilient in my home life and business."

Jen Selter shares some fitness tips

Fitness model Jen Selter is sharing some highly encouraging and realistic fitness tips for 2024. Selter, 30, posted a video of herself working out in a green two-piece outfit, using dumbbells and resistance bands.

"Some tips to help you stay motivated:

Set Realistic Goals

Create a Routine

Track Progress

Find a Workout Buddy

Mix It Up

Reward Yourself

Listen to Your Body

Be proud of yourself at every step of your fitness journey. It's not just a destination, it's a lifestyle??," she captioned the post. Here's what Selter's diet and workouts look like, and her advice for living your best life.

Selter's enviable glutes are the result of plenty of lunges and squats. "Some of my favorite lower body movements are squat and lunge variations, stairmaster intervals and kickbacks," she tells New Beauty. "I like working them into my workout routine by doing them in two-movement supersets, or Tabata-style, to get my heart rate up. I share all of my workout tips and a complete lower body and booty guide on my app with Fitplan. You get a free week trial, and it's where I share all my secrets to reach your lower body's best potential!"

Selter swears by hydration and cheat meals for a happy, balanced life. "There's only so much you can do in a gym, nutrition is just as important! It's crucial to fuel your body with the proper nutrients to recover fast and build muscle," she tells New Beauty. "But that doesn't mean there's no room for cheat meals! A healthy life and a healthy diet is all about balance. By far, my number one accessory is my water bottle, I need it to stay hydrated. Sometimes I forget to drink enough water both in and out of the gym. I also love having a pair of gloves to assist me when I'm lifting weights. I like Props Athletics gloves, or any gloves that have a nice design."

Selter is not one of those fitness influencers who skips breakfast. "Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day!" she tells Women Fitness. "I usually start my mornings with a smoothie which I make myself with my BlendJet which is a portable blender. My shakes are blended with a mixture of fruits, nuts, oat milk, and coffee. Following my shake I will have eggs or oatmeal, I usually alternate. On the weekends I enjoy cooking protein pancakes which are delicious. I have recipes on my Instagram, blog, and YouTube. I'm all about moderation! I don't believe in depriving yourself of the things you love most. For example, I LOVE dark chocolate. I don't remember the last day I went a day without having it! But I don't over indulge. I also LOVE my cheat meals, and have a cheat meal once a week."

Selter feels empowered after sharing her battles with anxiety on social media. "After sharing on my stories that I've suffered from anxiety, so many of my followers reached out with such a strong sense of support and advice," she tells Women Fitness. "It made me realize that so many people are struggling with mental health disorders and no one really talks about it. So many people were saying 'but your life seems so perfect.' That is just a social media facade. So I would say the best part is that I have this AMAZING community that I am so thankful for. The worst part is that sharing my personal life can be a bit intimidating. However, sharing this inner struggle with my followers has taught me so much."

Selter wants everyone to feel confident in themselves and appreciate their own unique qualities. "My first bit of advice is to eliminate all negative thoughts and negative energy about who you are. No one is perfect, embrace your flaws! It's what makes you, YOU," she tells New Beauty. "Your goal should be to be the best version of yourself, and that means finding confidence and having a positive outlook on who you are. I always recommend waking up and writing down a few things you love about yourself and using them as a mantra throughout the day. Avoid comparing yourself to others and stay focused on you, your goals and your best qualities. For every negative thought, replace it by two good ones, and don't stop until you appreciate your beautiful self."

fitness instructor Alex Aust shows off her amazing body

Alex Aust is celebrating the New Year in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the lacrosse star-slash-fitness instructor shows off her amazing body in a "most liked of 2023" Instagram post – also flaunting her body in a bathing suit. "Thank you all for following along on all of my life's adventures – full of smiles, lacrosse, travel & love ???☀️ cannot wait to fill 2024 with more of the same!! Beyond grateful!" she captioned the post.

Alex is a coffee drinker. She adds Inulin to her coffee, she revealed to Now Foods. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Inspired by sports, Alex started an online fitness community. "Through playing lacrosse, I've found that nothing bonds and lifts people up more than sweating together," she told Pro Lacrosse Talk. Most of her workouts are weight and strength training, like HIIT, and yoga.

Alex is a walker. You can find her walking her dog daily, a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Alex loves playing pickleball and even competes in tournaments. The racquet sport is very similar to tennis, which blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination, says ACE Fitness.

Alex shared her Tabata Blaster workout with Now Foods. She explains that you need to do it "20 seconds ON/10 seconds OFF, 4x through."

Jump squats

Pushups with Shoulder taps

Reverse Lunges

Mountain Climbers

Forearm plank

Christen Harper shows off her incredible figure

Christen Harper is starting the year off right – in her workout clothes at the gym. In a few recent social media posts, The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition model shows off her incredible figure in a cropped tank and leggings during a sweat session with Brock Romisch.

According to Kendra Gamble, HIT Fitness Training, Huntingdon Valley, PA, NPTI Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant, the first exercise Harper does is actually multiple movements in one. "A plank, a glute kickback, a mountain climber into a clamshell," she says. She doesn't suggest trying this one at home as it is "too much in one movement," in her opinion.

Her last exercise is a sled pull, according to Gamble. "Just using her upper body instead of lower body, she isn't really using much power for it to be a sled snatch." A sled snatch is a "power exercise, good for the whole body and increasing strength and power in your upper body," she adds.

Another favorite activity of Christen's is riding horses, which boasts both physical and mental health benefits. "Sunset ride to the Hollywood sign," she captioned this image of herself on a ride. According to the American Heart Association, it boosts cardiovascular health, builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure.

Aside from gym workouts Christen enjoys regular hikes. Luckily, she has a canine companion to serve as her workout buddy. "Roxie and I have mixed feelings about hikes ? anyone know any good hikes around LA?" she jokingly captioned this Instagram post panting at the top of a trail with her dog. "Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

In the next video, Harper kneels on the ground and lifts a barbell without any weights on it up and down. According to Gamble the move is called landmine shoulder press. "Those are good," she says. "I make my client do them."

Gia Giudice displayed her flawless physique while enjoying a vacation in the Bahamas

Gia Giudice, 22, loves nothing more than rocking bikinis on vacation, and in a new set of Instagram photos, she did so yet again — this time, in the Bahamas! In photos you can view below, the reality TV star rocked the strapless red bikini and a pair of devastating shades as she held her hair up and posed on the beach at sundown.

A third pic in the January 10 carousel showed her walking away from the camera, showing off the thong design on her scarlet red bikini bottoms. Gia also shared an image of the breezy interior of a resort overlooking the shimmering waters. “Bahamas photos loading…” she captioned the photo collection on Wednesday.

Sister Milania Giudice was among the first to react to the gorgeous pics. “Purrrr,” she gushed, alongside a row of flame emojis. Gia has nearly one million fans on the platform, and many rushed to the comments thread to swoon over the photos.

“Queen,” wrote one, while another remarked, “hot mama.” “That body tho,” gushed a third, with a fourth noticing her resemblance to her mother, Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice.

“Like I have said before Gia looks just like her mom, from head to toe in every way,” they observed. “The third picture just proves she is built like her mama.”

Gia, who was HollywoodLife’s cover star in December, opened up about what message she hopes to convey to young women as an influencer and entrepreneur. “I want to inspire young women to speak up and advocate for themselves,” she said in part. “After receiving backlash for speaking up for myself and my family, it made it so much more important for me to share this message with other young women.

No matter the opinion of others, you have a right to speak up and use your voice. Finding your voice can be a tough journey for young women at times and I want them to know they aren’t alone. “

In a new social media post the British model and mom shows off her amazing body in a beige-toned bathing suit while on vacation in the tropics. "Pretty sure my birthstone is a seashell," the beach lover captioned the Instagram photo with her followers. "Looking fantastic," one of them commented. "Hottie," added another.

Bianca is open about her body image issues. "I have body dysmorphia so I am never going to be entirely happy with the way that I look. It is in my nature to find fault with some aspect of my appearance," she told Closer.

Bianca has a list of self-care practices that she followers. "Drink your water. Exercise. Go make some money. Do your affirmations. Always be more kinder than necessary. Start a business. Mind your own business. Radiate love. Learn new languages. Speak your feelings. Forgive. Heal. Surround your self with people that love you for you," she captioned an Instagram post advocating self-care and love.

Bianca enjoys running – a great exercise according to the Mayo Clinic. It can help improve cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

Bianca loves to snorkel when she is on vacation. "A Magical Whale Shark Moment ?? Naomi Campbell is working out and flaunting her fit figure.

Naomi Campbell is working out and flaunting her fit figure. In a new social media post, the 1990s supermodel gets her sweat on while vacationing in Dubai, hitting two different workout studios. At 53, Naomi has the body of a woman half her age.

"My Happy Place ! Women Only !!" she captioned a series of snaps taken at The Platform Studios, a women's-only gym that offers a variety of workouts ranging from pilates and yoga to HIIT. She appears to have taken a yoga class. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

In the second post she visits The Kamani Club, also in Dubai, where she throws punches with champ Anthony Joshua. "This kind of boxing has many health benefits because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital tells Harvard Health."You're swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you're in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you're strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs." Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

"I work out. But not [at] a regular type of gym—no machines. I can't go to a regular gym. That makes me nervous," Naomi once revealed to E! News. She works out with trainer Joe Holder. "I've never liked working out before I started working out with Joe," she explained in her Youtube series, #BeingNaomi. "I don't like everything he makes me do, but it's not about liking it. It's about attacking the body in different parts and conditioning." She even shares videos of their sessions on her IGTV channel.

Holder told British Vogue that Naomi loves her jump rope. "I like the ones that get my heart rate up, but I understand the importance of the ones that are more slow and burning and conditioning and tightening," the model said when asked about her favorite types of workouts. Holder maintains that her usual jump rope circuit involves five sets of skipping for 60 seconds.

Pilates is another of Naomi's go-to workouts. "Stretching is important," she told Today. "I danced for many years, so Pilates is something that elongates you and keeps you toned." It's also the perfect form of active recovery to help her body bounce back between sweat sessions.

Model Caroline Kelley shows off her amazing body while enjoying a tropical vacation

Caroline Kelley started the year off in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the model shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while enjoying a tropical vacation. "Ringing in 2024 in the sun," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "Looks like a perfect way to start an amazing year;) Love flowing your way," commented one of her followers. "Perfect," added another. Several others simply left fire emojis.

Caroline is very into action sports. "Zinga knows how to throw an engagement party! Norway you have my heart," she captioned a series of photos of herself mountain climbing with friends.

Caroline's version of fun? "8 hour hike and a Fjord plunge," she captioned an Instagram post. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

Building stronger muscles and bones

Improving your sense of balance

Improving your heart health

Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

Caroline is a beach girl. While on vacation you can find her taking walks on the shoreline. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Caroline also loves snow sports, especially snowboarding. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. "Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles," they say. "Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer."

Caroline also enjoys surfing when she is near the water. She captioned this image, "cowabunga." According to the Australian government's Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. "Once you're standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up," they say.

Caroline loves brunching and drinking coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. Bella Hadid is looking amazing

Bella Hadid is showing off. In a recent social media post, the stunning supermodel flaunts her incredible figure in a tiny bathing suit while poolside. "You look absolutely perfect," commented one of her followers, while many others added fire emojis.

Bella doesn't exercise on an empty stomach. "I count on a smoothie, a juice, or a protein drink 30 minutes before the session. After the session, I eat something full of protein like chicken and wholegrain rice. It's ideal to strengthen the muscle mass and to increase the effects of the session," she told French Vogue.

Hydration and rest are crucial, says Bella. "I try to drink as much water, and get as much sleep, as I can," she told Harper's Bazaar. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

"We're on the go so much that it's hard to eat clean, but I always feel better when I do," Bella told Harper's Bazaar. "I've always had a difficult relationship with food. In high school, my relationship with food came from not having control, but food was the one thing I could control. So I would micromanage and make schedules for food, but it's more important to check what's good for your body and your own biology," she added in another interview with Harper's Bazaar.

Bella is an avid snowboarder. She recently shared some photos of herself drinking her energy drink, Kin Euphorics, while on the mountain.

"I always say that first thing in the morning, you have to start your day by staring at the sun. When I was going through a difficult time, I would pull myself out of bed, open the blinds, and then just stare at the sun. But it's so true! And now, I have a sun light and I drink Actual Sunshine, our new Kin flavor, which honestly makes me feel like I'm walking on air," Bella told Harper's Bazaar.

"I don't feel the need [to drink alcohol] because I know how it will affect me at 3 in the morning when I wake up with horrible anxiety thinking about that one thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school," said Hadid in an interview with InStyle in January 2022. "There's just this never-ending effect of, essentially, you know, pain and stress over those few drinks that didn't really do much, you know?" In July 2023, she revealed that with "self love" she was ten months sober. "I'm so proud of anyone pushing through dry July," she wrote, promoting her non-alcoholic beverage drink Kin Euphorics. With Kin and lots of self love, I am almost 10 months no alcohol!" she wrote on Instagram. "I'm so proud of anyone discovering their sobriety," she added. "Or anyone who has had the courage to open their mind to Dry July!"

Bella has a few guilty pleasures. "My favorite go-to snack, I eat pizza, at least once a day. It's always like a go-to cuz it always, you know, it tastes good every time," Bella told ID. "There's no bad pizza. Also seaweed snacks randomly. Oh, sour Patch Kids and Rose Champagne if i'm feeling frisky."
