"Living in lockdown, I found there's no point or energy in being annoyed at yourself for not reading that book, writing that song or working out that day. I'm teaching myself to find joy as much as I can and ease in these open long days."
In an interview with Vogue, Pugh opened up about her relationship with food. She said that she doesn't want to lose weight or diet for a role. "It was expected that you would be on whatever diet that you needed to be on, and for me, that was just shocking because I'd never done that before. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.
You might find Jocelyn riding a bike – especially while she is on vacation. Elizabeth Hurley is revealing all of the wellness secrets that keep her looking fit at 58. In a new social media post, the supermodel and beachwear designer answers some of her fans' most burning questions about her diet and workout – namely how she looks half her age. "One question I get asked all the time is, how do you stay in shape and what do you eat? So here goes," she started the Instagram post, showing off her famous curves in a bathing suit.
Elizabeth has a few dietary rules she follows, starting with the size of her meals and how and when she eats them. "My mantra is: don't eat too much, too fast, too often or too late. Or, put another way, eat smaller meals, chew properly, ban snacking and eat dinner earlier. This works for me," she writes in her post.
So many stars swear by various green juice concoctions, smoothies, and protein shakes, but not Elizabeth. "I don't drink weird green juices or shakes," she says. She also refuses to take nutrients in pill form, with one exception. She only takes supplements "if a blood test tells me I'm lacking something," she says.
Liz has an easy hack for getting lots of produce into her diet. "I try to have vegetables or fruit equal half of every plate I eat – ie if I have a sandwich, I also eat an apple," she says.
The model sticks with a very clean diet. "I eat pretty much everything but only have junk food as an absolute treat – and I count junk food as anything that contains any ingredient that I don't have in my own kitchen, so that includes 'diet' and 'low-fat' everything, all ready meals, all bought sandwiches, cakes and biscuits and all sodas," Elizabeth says.
Elizabeth doesn't shy away from carbs and baked goods. But, she makes them herself. "My best investment was a bread maker and I make a loaf a day. I also make cakes every weekend," she says.
Liz also moves her body, but doesn't go to the gym. "Other than diet, my other advice is to move more. I don't go to the gym or do any set exercise but I'm extremely active. There endeth the sermon. Let me know if this makes sense for you," she concluded her post.

Pilar Rubio is one of the most successful reporters and TV presenters. Her work includes, The Right Price, Mas que Baile, and XXS. She is currently working on El Hormiguero. Rubio advertised her new show, Discovering Canary Islands, on Instagram this week. In one photo, she is seen wearing a tan and white patterned swimsuit. Rubio captioned the post, "The adventure of #DiscoveringCanarylslands Season 2 begins in 3, 2, 1… YES! ?? At @rakutentv_es 8 contestants from different European countries, 8 wonderful islands, and one winner."
Rubio shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is weight train. Rubio shared this video of herself doing pulley rows at the gym. She captioned the post, "'120 kg. Pilar VS the machine ?' Let's see if I can play the game in August ? … PS: Malmsteen attacks again, I'll wait for you Lita and Joan."
In an interview with Women's Health, Rubio shared some of her fitness and wellness secrets. She says that when it comes to fitness, she makes sure to do it each day. "The difficult thing is to put it into practice. There are days when you do better and others worse, but the important thing is to practice. You have to focus on the here and now. Enjoy the moment and always bring out the good."
In her Women's Health interview, Rubio talked about how she eats healthy. She says that she works with a nutritionist. Rubio also says that her diet is dependent on her fitness. "For me, it is essential to adapt my diet to my daily workouts. I need it to be at full performance, achieve muscle gain goals and do good health prevention."
Rubio tells Women's Health that she is a fan of circuit training. "Exercising helps you focus on what you are doing at that moment, to enjoy it. The circuit goes from top to bottom, from head to body, from body to head. There has to be a productive and positive hyperconnection." NASM.org reports that circuit training has benefits. "Several studies have shown that circuit training can elicit increases in both upper and lower body 1-rep max, making it a great exercise to target whole body fitness.
Studies have shown major increases in muscle mass in both trained and untrained populations (however, untrained populations demonstrate greater improvements since they have more ability to show improvements in shorter time periods). Circuit training induces the same anabolic signaling and maximal muscle fiber recruitment that conventional resistance training does — but without the need to use as much weight since there are shorter rest periods between sets."
Rubio revealed in this Instagram post that she likes to snowboard to stay in shape. According to The University of Rochester, skiing and snowboarding have a lot of benefits. "Skiing and snowboarding are thrilling activities and great workouts. Both sports are excellent cardiovascular exercises that strengthen the heart. They are also weight-bearing exercises. So hey strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles. Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for ongoing (chronic) diseases. They lower your blood pressure. And they help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer."

Alexandra Cooper is flaunting her fit figure – in a mirror selfie. In a new social media post, the Call Her Daddy host shows off her amazing body in a photo she took of her reflection. "From thongs to Hanes, we got range," she captioned the Instagram snap, taken in her bathroom.
Alexandra enjoys riding horses. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.
Alex always starts the day with a cup of coffee. "The first thing I do when I wake up is roll over, pick up my phone and text my boyfriend 'coffee,'" she told Harper's Bazaar Food Diaries. "My boyfriend hands me a coffee every single morning." Sometimes she has iced coffee and others, hot, with oat milk. "Recently switched from almond to oat and it's been a pretty fabulous transition," she adds. "I grew up never drinking coffee. I went through my entire college experience and I had never had one cup of coffee. I started drinking coffee, honestly, because I think I started going to meetings in my adult life and I was like, they're like, 'Do you want a coffee?'" However, she claims she is "not dependent on it," and is "never going out of my way to get it, but when it's brought to me, I welcome it and I cherish the moment and I drink the whole thing every single morning."
Alex doesn't avoid carbs. "I have an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese," Alex added, revealing her eats one side with "regular cream cheese, one side with chive." She admits switching from New York to Los Angeles bagels, "was a struggle" as "New York's bagels are better than LA's" so she has "mourned the loss," she jokes. "But I've gotten used to a bagel as a bagel. I'll eat the ones from the grocery store."
Alex is all about snacking. "I'm a very hangry individual and I'm not embarrassed or ashamed by that," she told Harper's Bazaar. "The success of my relationship, I will say, is predicated on whether I've eaten that day or not. My boyfriend will say, you are a different person when you haven't had food. So I am constantly making sure I have a snack around me." She loves snacking on Welch fruit snacks. "You can't just have one, you have to have three. So I usually will have a handful of those. Maybe some chips, love some Sour Cream and Onion Pringles."
Alex admits she is "always ordering out." Her favorite meal? Dan Tana's chicken parmesan. "If I have to eat a green, I'm going to go broccoli or asparagus. Now, sometimes asparagus is too chewy and we don't like the after effects of what asparagus does," she joked.
"McConnell's ice cream is my go-to late night dessert," said Alex. "I would say every six to seven days I restock. I get every single flavor just in case. And I'll make a bowl of McConnell's ice cream where it's like the salted caramel brownie, the ooey gooey double chocolate chip. There's all the different kinds, and I'll put a bunch of different scoops of different flavors. Who wants one flavor of ice cream? Not me."
Alex told Cosmopolitan that she is all about talking it out. "I had a lot of therapy sessions when the first deal came out," she said about her massive Spotify paycheck. Because I was like, 'Whoa, it's just not normal to have the amount of money you're making public and that amount at such a young age.' I did see the backlash of 'She doesn't deserve that' or 'She's so greedy.' I'm like, 'Oh my god, no one said this about Joe Rogan. No one said this about the SmartLess podcast guys.' But I'm the type of person that loves it, because it means there's opportunity to help the conversation progress. It's less about me….It's a new benchmark for women in the industry."

Sophie Turner is an extremely successful actress. She is best known for her role as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones. She also plays Jean Grey in the X-Men films. Turner and her friends recently enjoyed a vacation together. They decided to go on a ski trip to the mountains. She shared some photos from the trip on her Instagram. Turner captioned the post, "Jagerbomb anyone?"
Turner's hair has gone through a lot of coloring. She has alternated it from blonde to red over the years. She shared how she keeps her hair healthy in an interview with Marie Claire. "For upkeep, I use the Wella Invigo Brilliance shampoo, conditioner, and their amazing mask, which keeps my hair really hydrated, shiny, healthy. I use it once a week, and it's a lifesaver. I also love the Invigo Brilliance Miracle BB Spray—it has lime caviar in it, which gives my hair this crazy shine."
Turner has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared her secrets in her Marie Claire interview. "For my skin, I drink a lot of water and try not to get stressed, which is mainly how I get breakouts," Turner shares. "I also love using this bubbly face mask that foams up on your face and dissolves—it's so fun. I always put on these under-eye patches that help me look less tired, because I'm constantly tired."
Turner revealed her favorite workouts in an interview with W Magazine. "Any high-intensity cardio, but boxing is my favorite. I go to Rumble in N.Y.C., Unbreakable in L.A." According to The Cleveland Clinic, boxing has a lot of benefits. "The calories you burn during boxing can help you maintain or achieve a healthy weight. One study compared boxing training versus moderate-intensity walking in people with a body mass index (BMI) of greater than 25 (which is considered having overweight/obesity). The researchers noted reductions in BMI, waist circumference and body fat percentage in the boxing group, while the walking group showed no changes."
In an interview with The Sunday Times, Turner opened up about dealing with body shaming comments while working on Game of Thrones. She says that she had an eating disorder, and eventually had to go to therapy. "Being in the age of social media when that's happening, I think I would be a much saner person if I hadn't been documented from 13 — your most awkward, uncomfortable, unsure-of-yourself years. I stopped having my period for a year — that's when I decided to have therapy."
Turner tells ELLE that she is limiting her time on social media. "I have noticed that social media makes me incredibly anxious and it's something I try to distance myself from," she says. "Having it off my phone has been so helpful. Now, if I do have to go on it, it's for a few minutes once or twice a week, rather than hours every day. It's made such a difference. Live real life – it's much more fun."

Pamela Anderson is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world. She's best known for her role on the TV series Baywatch. Anderson seemingly has not aged since those days, and her recent post on Instagram proves it. In it, she showed off her long legs while sitting on a stool. She captioned the post, "Magic cannot leave you, when it is you."
Anderson shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Vogue. She says that self-care is one of her biggest priorities, even when she has a busy schedule. "I'm a big self-care person," Anderson said. "Especially when you're going through any kind of emotional time. I get a lot of massages."
Anderson makes sure to stay motivated. She shared her secrets for doing so in her Vogue interview. "I have this funny saying I've been doing lately where when I'm exhausted and my feet feel like they're going to break, I just think, 'What would Serena Williams do right now?' She wouldn't quit! I say, 'What do champions do? Get back out there, stop complaining,' to myself. I feel really driven and it's funny."
Anderson makes sure to eat healthy. She tells Vogue that she likes to intermittent fast and take supplements. "I only eat between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. It just makes me feel so great and energized. I've got a great doctor in L.A. who has given me this great vitamin regimen. I'm taking them and eating healthy as I'm vegan."
Anderson is an avid cook. She talked about this in an edition of her newsletter. "Cooking didn't always come so natural to me, but I have always loved to cook. I love to write recipes. I prefer not to measure and I resort to 'eye balling' mostly, and it gets the best of me, especially in baking, we must have patience—it IS a virtue and the only road to success."
In her newsletter, Anderson talked about some changes she is making to her lifestyle. "I'm trying to drink less coffee and more tea," she said. "I love my glass teapot and blends of rose and chamomile. Still, it's a work in progress. I have planted a 'tea garden' this season, and can't wait to prepare my own concoctions. My kids tease me about it and say I'm too high-strung for so much coffee."

Fitness influencer Anna Victoria is encouraging fans and followers to follow through with their fitness goals by sharing before-and-after pictures of success stories. Victoria posted a video of herself working out in purple and pink exercise gear, plus highlighting other women who crushed their goals using her Fit Body App. "WHEN YOU DON'T GIVE UP ??… that's when the magic happens!! This journey is never easy but it's always worth it. Join me in giving each of these ladies a HUGE round of applause!! ???" she captioned the post.
Victoria starts her day with oatmeal, four scrambled eggs, and vegetables. "When I tell people I eat four eggs, they're like, 'Are you okay? Do you need to go to the doctor?' But it's an old science belief that they're not good for you. Eggs can get boring, so I put veggies in them—asparagus, zucchini and tomato," she told Harper's Bazaar. "That's my breakfast pretty much every day. In my meal plan, it's different, but I'm a creature of habit and I just like the same routine every day."
Victoria avoids the all-or-nothing mentality when it comes to fitness, saying even ten minutes a day can make a difference. "You don't have to work out every day to see progress, and doing so can actually be harmful to your progress!" she told Fit Body App. "Rest days are growth days. The max days I suggest working out is five to six days with one of those days being only cardio. You absolutely need 1- 2 rest days a week for recovery, injury prevention, and muscle repair. I said it before, but don't underestimate the benefits of even a 10-minute sweat sesh a few times a week! Something is always better than nothing."
Victoria uses her grill for a delicious protein-packed dinner. "Luca and I normally have grilled chicken," she told Harper's Bazaar. "It's amazing how different and how much better chicken tastes when you grill it instead of cooking it on the stove. Luca is actually the cook in the family, so he'll create a sauce or something out of balsamic vinegar and lemon, or something like that, and then just veggies and sweet potato. I love sweet potato."
Victoria wants postpartum mothers to take it easy when getting back into a fitness routine. "Don't rush it. I hear of so many moms at three months postpartum trying to resume their pre-baby routine and level of intensity and end up having so many issues as a result, like diastases recti, prolapse, incontinence and more," she told Oxygen magazine. "Everything in life is a season, and while I'm a big believer in taking care of your physical well-being, sometimes what that looks like is actually resting and taking it slow," Victoria says. "Soak up those precious newborn and baby moments while they last, because time flies!"
Victoria focuses on good habits that take over when willpower is weak. "Motivation is overrated. I'm motivated maybe 30% of the time. The other 70% I'm DEDICATED," she told Fit Body App. "The moment you stop waiting for motivation and start making it happen regardless of how you feel is the moment when the magic happens. Focus on being dedicated, not motivated."

Gemma Chan is a very successful actress. She is best known for her roles in the films Marvel's Eternals, Don't Worry Darling, Disney's Raya & The Last Dragon, and Crazy, Rich Asians. She recently enjoyed a vacation to Joali Being, and shared some highlights on Instagram. In them, Chan enjoyed time at the beach. She captioned the post, "Reset…Magical island."
Chan has amazing skin and makes sure to take care of it. She tells Marie Claire that skin prep is important to her. "For me, it's all about prepping the skin. If I've been travelling, had a late night or not had too much sleep, I get quite puffy. So using anything that's cold or that vibrates is good. I keep my face roller in the fridge and I have ice globes. I also have what I call my 'eyebrator'. Anything like that is good to encourage lymphatic drainage [and reduce puffiness]—these tools are essentials for me."
Chan tells Marie Claire that she makes sure to protect her skin from the sun. "A good sunscreen is essential—especially during summer. My hands down favourite UV product is L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Clinical Vitamin C UV Fluid SPF 50. It only just came out in the UK but I first came across it when I was shooting in Thailand last year. I was like, 'why do they not sell this in the UK?!' and, thank God, they do now! It doesn't leave any white cast. It's really sheer and it doesn't leave me too shiny."
Chan shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with British Vogue. "I've just started Pilates which is brutal–so brutal, deceptively so. But I do enjoy that and I have a mini morning routine." Better Health states that Pilates has a lot of benefits. "Pilates can be an aerobic and non-aerobic form of exercise. It requires concentration and focus, because you move your body through precise ranges of motion. It requires concentration in finding a centre point to control your body through movement. Each exercise has a prescribed placement, rhythm and breathing pattern. In Pilates, your muscles are rarely worked to the point of exhaustion, so there is not always sweating or straining, just intense concentration. The workout consists of a variety of exercise sequences that are performed in low repetitions, usually five to ten times, over a session of 45 to 90 minutes. Floor based exercises performed on a mat and specialised equipment for resistance are often used."
In an interview with Women's Weekly, Chan shared some of her skincare secrets. She says that she makes sure to be consistent with her routine. "My skincare routine isn't that complicated. One of the first things my mum taught me was to never go to bed with your makeup on. No matter how tired you are or how drunk you might be, always cleanse, tone, and moisturise."
Chan tells Women's Weekly that she loves to use hyaluronic acid on her skin. "In the morning, I'll cleanse, use a hyaluronic acid serum, and I'll always use a good moisturiser with SPF. I love the Revitalift Filler Day Cream ($36 from Lookfantastic), which has hyaluronic acid in it – I take it with me during the day so I can top up my skin if I ever have a bit of dryness. When I am tired, I get puffy eyes, so I use [an eye cream] with a roller to help wake up my skin in the morning."
