Jennifer Lopez is celebrating her birthday in her bathing suit. In one of her latest social media posts the superstar kicks off her 54th trip around the sun. "Birthday mood…all month!! Always a good day when Lola comes to play… #OnTheJLo: Birthday Edition coming soon," she captioned the Instagram post.

On the April 21 episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show," Ben Affleck gushed over his wife. "She's the most gorgeous woman in the world and she looks spectacular." He also revealed that she doesn't diet. "Let me tell you something that's going to upset you," he said. "Jennifer just eats whatever she wants and whatever she wants; cookies, ice cream, everything."

Affleck added that exercise contributes to her phenomenal figure. "She works out. I mean, I work out too, but I don't magically appear to be 20 years old you know what I mean? With perfect skin and the whole thing," he joked. "There's no taking away the work ethic. The work ethic is real, the discipline is very real, but also the superhuman thing is real. She's the most gorgeous woman in the world, she looks spectacular."

Tracy Anderson, one of J.Lo's trainers, added to E! News, that she is self-aware. "If somebody could graduate summa cum laude of physical literacy, it's her. She knows her body so well and she knows what she needs for the many, many projects she does," she said. "This is something people need to understand, Jennifer is so driven from within and she's such a hard worker. I don't know anyone that has her worth ethic."

"She is very soft and gentle with herself in a really beautiful way that you wouldn't expect. She knows her engine really well. She doesn't over-train if she's got to light up a stage, which is most of the time," added Anderson.

Lopez has also revamped her approach to rest. "There was a time in my life where I used to sleep 3 to 5 hours a night. I'd be on set all day and in the studio all night and doing junkets and filming videos on the weekends," she told People. "I was in my late 20s and I thought I was invincible." She ended up having a panic attack. "I asked the doctor if I was going crazy. He said, 'No, you're not crazy. You need sleep…get 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night, don't drink caffeine, and make sure you get your workouts in if you're going to do this much work.'"

Jennifer Lopez is feeling the love

Jennifer Lopez is feeling the love in her swimsuit. The superstar honored her husband, Ben Affleck, on Valentine's Day by revealing a new tattoo with the letters J and B, and also showing off her amazing body in a bathing suit. "Commitment ♾️ Happy Valentine's Day my love," she captioned the powerful Instagram post.

Jennifer told Rolling Stone that she goes to therapy, adding that she has "become much more spiritual" since having kids. "I am whole; I am good on my own; I love the universe, the universe loves me," is one of the affirmations she uses. "I try to always live from a place of gratitude," she added. "But today, especially, if you ask me what my first thought was, it was, 'Thank you. Thank you, God, for this day. Thank you for my life, what it is.'"

While it's hard to believe, Jennifer is aging like the rest of us, and she believes in adapting her workouts as the years go by. "In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now," she explained in InStyle's 2021 The Beauty Issue. "It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter. And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. I do it more for my health than I do for looks, which is funny. When you do things for the right reasons, you actually look better!"

Jennifer is all about hydration. According to her trainer Dodd Romero she "drinks a minimum of seven glasses a day," he told US Weekly. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

You won't find Jennifer on a crash diet. "You got to work out, you got to watch what you eat," she told Us Weekly about her approach to staying in shape. "It's a job— you've got to buckle down." Per Dodd her diet consists of a lot of protein, vegetables, fats, carbohydrates and water. Additionally, she "stays away from processed foods and gets her nutrients from whole sources." Egg whites, white meat turkey, chicken breast and grass-fed beef three to four times a week serve as her main protein sources. Healthy fats in the form of fish like salmon and sea bass packed with high levels of omega-3s and 6s and "a handful" of nuts per day are also go-to foods. She also eats lots of veggies and complex carbs like sweet potatoes, brown rice, quinoa, rice bread and oatmeal, which she'll eat with fresh berries.

Jennifer cheats on occasion. "Throughout the years I've learned the importance of maintaining a healthier […] diet," she told People. "I still eat some of the foods I love, but in moderation. I don't deprive myself."

Jennifer is extremely disinclined. "Very rarely will I skip my workout," she told Us Weekly. "Sometimes, I work too late the night before, and I'm like, 'Ugh, I can't do this.' But I tell myself, 'Just do it. It's only an hour.' It's just talking yourself off the ledge of being a lazy bum."

The pop superstar snapped some photos by the pool, clad in a black string bikini, butterfly-print silk robe, oversized sunglasses, and 4-inch heeled mules.

The triple threat, who’s engaged (again!) to Ben Affleck, is famous for looking about half her age and credits her fit physique to grueling workouts with trainers like celebrity favorite David Kirsch, who described her as “very hyper-focused and very disciplined” in a 2020 interview.

“There’s no quit in Jennifer, she’s hardcore,” Kirsch said. “She has better muscle tone than some of my clients who are 25.”

The famous trainer also said J.Lo “keeps her diet very clean” and “hasn’t had caffeine or alcohol in years.”

As for that ageless complexion? Rather than relying on Botox or injectables — “I’m not that person,” the star said in 2020 — she slathers her skin in olive oil, a secret she’s used over the years because it really does work.”

Jennifer Lopez once said, “One of the big things I would encourage everybody to do from the time they’re 15 years old, even younger, is wear sunscreen every day. That’s a big skincare secret that people kind of do but don’t do.”

Actress and model Emily Ratajkowski is back with another powerful political opinion. The Gone Girl actress took heat recently for saying that wearing a string bikini could be a form of feminist protest.

Last month, the left-wing political activist declared that “feminism is great for everyone.”
