Model Danielle Herrington is back to Sports Illustrated

gorgeous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2018 cover model is back for a fourth year with the magazine! From her rookie photoshoot in Fiji, to seeing the one and only Tyra Banks unveil her cover the following year, watching Danielle Herrington blossom has been a pleasure to say the least.

It’s safe to say that her life changed overnight! Danielle as she experiences her dreams becoming a reality, you’re seriously missing out.

One thing is for sure, this cutie from Compton just keeps getting better! Her photos for the 2019 issue, shot by James Macari in Costa Rica, were nothing short of epic. And we just know there’s more magic where that came from.

This year, Danielle will be shooting in the mountainous state of Wyoming with photographer Ruven Afanador.

Since the SI Swimsuit launch in May, this brown-eyed beauty has been keeping busy and has looked stunning while doing it! Just last month, she wowed on the red carpet at the Harper's Bazaar Icons Party, strutted her stuff down the runway for LaQuan Smith’s New York Fashion Week show, and attended Rihanna’s fifth annual Diamond Ball, which helps raise funds for underserved communities.

Ex Miss Universe Olivia Culpo says before her shoot she practiced in the mirror, had 10 poses ready and did a test shoot on her I Phone

Sports Illustrated announced in October 2018 that the former Miss Universe would be gracing the publication’s annual swimsuit issue for the second time.

Culpo’s rookie issue in 2017, titled In Her Own Words, showed the model wearing nothing but paint as a way to take ownership of the insecurities she felt stifled her before the shoot. This will reportedly be Culpo’s first time rocking bikini looks for the magazine, which she admitted she was nervous about.

SI reports that Culpo shared with People in January 2018 that she enlisted the help of Hannah Ferguson for her first rookie shoot and it gave her the confidence to do a second.

“I asked Hannah what I should do. She said, ‘practice in the mirror, practice all of your poses, have 10 poses ready, know your angles,’ and I did exactly that and it helped,” Olivia shared with People.

“I actually did a test shoot on my iPhone with someone that I work with. We looked insane. We were on the beach with the iPhone doing a test shoot. People were just staring at us.”

The influencer will be joined by models Danielle Herrington, Lindsey Vonn, and Kate Bock for the publication’s annual spread. The Inquisitr previously shared that model-turned-mogul Tyra Banks will appear on the issue’s cover, which will be her first swimsuit cover since retiring from modeling in the mid-2000s. Model Camille Kostek and soccer star Alex Morgan will also grace the cover the outlet’s annual swimsuit edition.

Danielle Herrington is again being featured in this year Sports Illustrated Swimsuit

The release of this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is fast approaching. Yet, until it hits the stands later this year, fans can access several sneak peeks from the different photo shoots on the magazine.

SI took to their certified account to share a super sexy video of their very own 2018 cover girl, Danielle Herrington. The curvy model was seen donning a skimpy bikini that could barely contain her assets as she splashed around the beach in Costa Rica during her shooting for this year’s issue.

Danielle put her best modeling skills to work as she struck several poses and proved why she’s such a professional by remaining completely focused when a small wave came crashing on to her. The natural beauty gazed at the camera seductively while slightly shifting her body, with photographer James Macari praising her skills and encouraging her from behind the lens.

Danielle and some of her fellow Sports Illustrated models headed to Costa Rica this year to shoot for the spread.

Fans of the annual SI issue will recognize the 25-year-old as last year’s cover girl, an honor that she has often gushed about, deeming it a “game changer” for her modeling career. Danielle went on to star in other major campaigns, such as for Rihanna’s lingerine collection.

Sports Illustrated Model Danielle Herrington rocked the runway during New York Fashion Week

Model Danielle Herrington was seen sporting a skimpy outfit at New York Fashion Week that yet again proved why she graced the cover of the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine.

The 25-year-old stunner closed the LaQuan Smith fashion show on Sunday, February 10, wowing the audience and her fans in the sexy ensemble she sported for the glamorous event. 

According to InStyle, Danielle made her New York Fashion Week debut for Philipp Plein’s show in September of 2017, shortly after her first appearance in the bikini-clad Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine earlier that year. Her second year appearing in the publication, in 2018, landed her the cover page, and made her only the third African-American woman to do so. She would join the likes of Tyra Banks in 1997 and Beyonce in 2005, Sports Illustrated reported.
