Vicky Pattison has been holidaying in Tenerife ahead of her 34th birthday

Vicky Pattison gave a treat when she posed in a bikini, flaunting her figure from different angles as she reclined on a sunbed.

However, there was a message the TV personality wanted to convey alongside her latest snaps - and that was 'nothing is ever as it seems on social media!'

Comparisons between her cover image and the subsequent photograph showed that Vicky had used a filter and purposely shown her figure from two varying perspectives - in a bid to reinforce that 'so much of what you see on Instagram isn’t real'.

In full, the former Geordie Shore star wrote in the caption: 'So much of what you see on Instagram isn’t real… So don’t let someone’s filters, uncomfortable posing and carefully curated set of images make you unhappy with your reality… Because nothing is ever as it seems on social media!'

She continued: 'And bodies that move, skin that wrinkles, down days, rows with your partner, periods and spots… All of this is perfectly normal… and beautiful. Have a great Sunday everyone.’

Ahead of turning 34 next week, Vicky has been celebrating in style with beau Ercan Ramadan and their friends.

Over the weekend, she shared a stunning poolside snap of her and the hunk- who she met in 2019 - as they headed to a white party.
