Billionaire heiress Ivy Love Getty just got married to her photographer boyfriend

Billionaire heiress Ivy Getty, 26, just got married to her photographer boyfriend Tobias Engel in an over-the-top three day extravaganza in her hometown of San Francisco — complete with a glass-mirrored wedding dress by John Galliano.

Tobias Alexander Engel first met the heiress through one of her family members and then the pair reconnected a year later at Paris Fashion Week. Over the course of their relationship, the couple has traveled frequently and on one of these trips to Capri, Engel decided to propose.

“Normally, I pick where we go out to eat, but this time Toby insisted he pick. This didn’t raise any red flags, but when I got to the restaurant, I thought to myself ‘Oh he really planned this,’” Getty explained. “We had a table overlooking the entire island away from the rest of the restaurant. The waitress came, and we ordered our food. As the sun was getting ready to set, we went outside to take photos of it. Toby set his iPhone timer and got down on one knee. The timer went off at the perfect moment as we have the most incredible photo.”

This was no ordinary wedding at City Hall.

On Sunday, Nov. 7, heiress Ivy Getty and photographer Tobias Engel tied the knot in lavish fashion. Following an entire weekend of wedding events—from a mod party DJed by Mark Ronson to a picture-perfect picnic lunch—the bride and groom exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi inside a dramatically carpeted City Hall.Among the guests bearing witness to the luxurious occasion was The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy, who served as a dutiful maid of honor donning a silvery gray Maison Martin Margiela Haute Couture by John Galliano dress.

"Being by your side all these years and your maid of honour has been nothing short of a privilege and your existence, nothing short of a miracle," the actress later wrote on Instagram. "I am so PROUD of the woman you've become. If you're ever in any doubt- I have loved you and will love you, forever. CONGRATULATIONS LIL SPICE MONKEY! You truly were the most beautiful bride."

The model’s engagement ring is a sapphire set on a yellow gold band with diamonds from a necklace her grandmother gave her as a teen surrounding the center stone. “It is the most unique piece of jewelry and so sentimental to me,” she said. “I can’t help but smile every time I look down and see it!”
