Rita Ora is already missing summer. In a new social media post, the singer gives her fans a glimpse of some of her top looks from the sunny season. In one of the photos she wears a bathing suit with a chain coverup. "Pick your favourite Rita…? Random moments and I miss summer…." she captioned the Instagram snap.
Rita maintains that she keeps her fridge stocked up like her own mini health food shop. It includes CBD drops, bone broth packets, mushroom health snacks, she told Glamour UK.
Rita revealed that she does reformer Pilates twice a week. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it "strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Rita also lifts weights with her trainer once a week, she told Glamour UK. She added to Shape that devotes a lot of time to her workouts. "I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have. I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do one circuit of cardio."
Rita believes in god. "And I naturally gravitated towards having a God and there being a Jesus and me following that route. That was just me. But I, again, praise my God in my own way. And so that's the way I'm giving out my energy with my family. Whatever gets you through the day. And for me it's nice to have that higher power that I can talk to. I'm definitely a believer in giving, sometimes, the things I can't control to the higher power, because it really relieves my stress," she said about her version of God.
"Sitting at home with my partner, being boring at 9PM and watching TV shows," is one of her self-care routines.
She also reads. "I've just finished Klara And The Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro. I'm about to start Tomorrow And Tomorrow And Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin." One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
