Model Bella Hadid savors the last days of summer in an itty-bitty string bikini

Bella Hadid made the most of the remaining days of summer, spending her Wednesday on the beach in Malibu with friends, as one does. The model was photographed laughing as the group swam in the ocean, frolicked on the sand, and generally took advantage of the good weather.

For the outing, she wore a tiny string bikini with brown oval sunglasses and let her hair down.

Hadid is now based in Fort Worth, Texas, where her cowboy boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, currently resides. Earlier this month, he revealed in an interview that she initially moved into his trailer with him before putting down roots of her own.

“She did do the fifth wheel, happily. It was badass,” he said on the “Along For the Ride” podcast, via Daily Mail. “It was cool because I really wanted that to be a part of our relationship. You know, you start having feelings for somebody and you start thinking things like, ‘Man, maybe this is the rest of my life here,’ and knowing that she is that simple of a human being [and] that the material things aren’t important—or the most important thing.” He shared that Hadid eventually purchased her own house, and he is in the process of building his own abode too. “It’s gonna take me a little bit, but she bought something that was a good investment for her,” he said.

Hadid spoke about her life in Texas during an April interview with Allure. She explained her beauty routine there, saying, “Just as I have styled myself for years now–which I still do–I love being able to do my own hair and makeup, be happy with how I look, and get ready with my girlfriends here in Texas. We have the best time, and I never feel like I need to do too much.”

She added, “For the first time now, I’m not putting on a fake face. If I don’t feel good, I won’t go. If I don’t feel good, I take time for myself. And I’ve never had the opportunity to do that or say that before. Now when anybody sees me in pictures and they say, I look happy, I genuinely am. I am feeling better; my bad days now were my old good days.”
