Veronica Bielik is taking a hike in her workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer shows off her amazing body in a two-piece exercise set while getting some vitamin D. "Trail from Kasprowy Wierch to Kuźnice. We got caught in a crazy thunderstorm ⛈️, and over 200 people had to be evacuated that day ?. To all the hiking lovers – please? check the weather conditions before heading out and trust the forecast! We knew a storm was coming but still took extra steps to different points, hoping it would clear up. Well, it didn't.
We got completely soaked in the heavy rain but made it back safely. Unfortunately, not everyone was so lucky," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps and videos. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Veronica is a fan of time restricted eating, maintaining that intermittent fasting makes her "feel so good" and is worth the "small sacrifices," she revealed in an Instagram post. "I have 8h eating window, starting usually around 12pm and finishing last meal before 8pm. I eat literally everything during that time because I know that benefits of fasting for rest of the time are so healthy that even sugar won't do much harm ☺️ When you fast, insulin levels drop and human growth hormone (HGH) increases. Your cells also initiate important cellular repair processes and change which genes they express. Studies show that intermittent fasting can reduce oxidative damage and inflammation in the body. This should have benefits against aging and development of numerous diseases. Intermittent fasting may have important benefits for brain health. It may increase growth of new neurons and protect the brain from damage."
Veronica is a hiker, as can be evidence in her recent post. "Hiking is my favorite workout, keeping my body toned during travels. And that extra dose of oxygen in the morning increases my endorphins level as well," she added in another Instagram post. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
Building stronger muscles and bones
Improving your sense of balance
Improving your heart health
Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
Veronica is a yogi "That breath you just took, It's a gift," she captioned a post of one of her yoga workouts. Harvard Health endorses the many benefits of the zen method. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."
Veronica prioritizes hydration, not only drinking water, but out of coconuts to get some electrolytes. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
Veronica also hits the gym for strength training sessions. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
Develop strong bones
Manage your weight
Enhance your quality of life
Manage chronic conditions
Sharpen your thinking skills
