Amine Özil shows off her amazing body

Amine Özil is heating up social media – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the former beauty queen-turned-model/actress shows off her amazing body and flat abs in a two-piece Alo ensemble. "Feeling the summer heat," Mesut Özil's wife captioned the Instagram post.

Amine fights for her hot body by boxing. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

Amine is an equestrian and regularly rides horses. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

Amine enjoys doing yoga – with friends. "Partner Challenge ????," she captioned a post. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

Amine gets her steps in by walking her dogs. "Having fun," she captioned this post. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Amine also shared a video of herself working out in the same Alo look. In it, she does a variety of strength training exercises including cable pulls, single arm kettlebell swings, and weighted crunch twists. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

Develop strong bones

Manage your weight

Enhance your quality of life

Manage chronic conditions

Sharpen your thinking skills
