Anna Heinrich has hit back at trolls who slammed her for posing in a bikini just two weeks after she welcomed her baby girl, Elle

In November, the same month she gave birth to her first child, the former Bachelor star enjoyed an early 34th birthday on board a yacht on Sydney Harbour with husband Tim Robards, 38, and their pals.

The first-time mother looked nothing short of sensational in a black bandeau bikini top and matching high-waisted briefs - but she gained the negative attention of critics for sharing the images.

In an interview, Anna said of the photos: 'The intention behind the image wasn't to say, "look at me, look at my body, look how I've recovered." I put it up because I was having a great time.

'I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad, I'm just living my life. Instagram is a fraction of what I am.'

Anna went on to say that there is no right way to have a 'mum body' or recover from childbirth.

'There is no ideal. We're all unique, we're going down different paths and there's no right or wrong way. I don't understand why people criticise – it's a reflection on themselves,' she said.

Anna added, 'We shouldn't be criticising people for how they choose to live their life and how they recover.'
