Cowboy hat, bikini fashion and Top chef? Padma Lakshmi has it all

Padma Lakshmi is an American author, actress, model, television host, and executive producer. Lakshmi has modeled for designers such as Emanuel Ungaro, Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, Ralph Lauren, and Alberta Ferretti, and appeared in ad campaigns for Roberto Cavalli and Versus.

The “Top Chef” host spent the weekend in Austin, Texas, with temperatures in the high 70s and 80s over the weekend to support the ACLU at the South by Southwest Festival.

Taking advantage of the summery temperatures, Lakshmi couldn’t resist showing off her toned figure in a bikini during her trip.

While some states are still seeing snow, the Top Chef host headed south to give fans a scorching-hot reminder that summer is around the corner.

And if the sun still hasn’t shown up, there’s no shame in cranking up the heat, throwing on your favorite bikini and indulging in some indoors sunbathing.

Bikini break aside, Lakshmi still found time to pursue her first love: fantastic food. The cookbook author also shared her top Austin food pick with a fan: Arlo Grey, which happens to be run by past Top Chef winner Kristen Kish.
