Kate Ferdinand and her husband Rio spent their first Christmas as a married couple in the Maldives

The 28-year-old former TOWIE star modelled a tiny red bikini as she joined by the shirtless former footballer, 41, for a series of acrobatic snapshots. Posing for a fun beach photoshoot with her stepchildren.

Tia was perched on Lorenz's shoulders while Rio held his son Tate's arm cast aloft, displaying his broken hand.

Kate also uploaded last year's similar snap which saw her sticking out her tongue and flashing peace signs while Tia executed a perfect bridge pose in front of her.

Meanwhile, Kate recently candidly revealed that she and her husband Rio 'saved each other' when they met.

The reality star said she was struggling with anxiety and panic attacks when Rio, who had become a widower with three children after his wife Rebecca Ellison passed away from breast cancer in 2015.

Kate told The Sun that when she met a Rio she was lost at a point in her life, and despite her family's support she was still struggling with her mental health.
