Kine-Chan, 21, a Brazillian model, influencer, and OnlyFans creator claims she was stopped from getting on the plane because she was wearing only a black bikini.
She says she was stopped from getting on the plane because she was wearing only a black bikini, turquoise wig, and black sandals.
Dressed up as Rebecca, from the anime web series CyberPunk: Edgerunners, the costume was minimal, to say the least. Taking to Instagram to lament the situation with her 612,000 followers, Kine-Chan wrote about the alleged incident: “Xuxus, a very annoying situation happened this weekend!
“I tried to board at Navegantes airport dressed as Rebecca's Cosplay for an event. I already knew that I could be late, so I was dressed so as not to waste time and could go straight to my room. But I was told to go home and change clothes because the one I was wearing was not ‘appropriate’. I explained that I was going to an event. Anyway Rebecca barred.”
Kine-Chan claims she was stopped by airport security and turned away from boarding the airplane as they asked her to cover up. Expecting her fans to support her, many instead felt she only had herself to blame for missing the flight. One person wrote: “Kine I love you but for the love of God... you could have put on an easy pull-up outfit, like a falling dress or even a button-down blouse.”
Another follower added: “They were right, you could have put clothes on. They were sure, not going to let you board.” Someone else tutted: “It didn’t hurt to wear a dressing gown on top.” And a fourth person penned: “Man, I work shows and my schedule in between shows is pretty short... I'm going with my costume and on top I'll put a robe or an overalls! Here's the tip for you.”
While fans of Kine-Chan will have to wait for an update on her adventures to find out if she ever made it to the event, one passenger who certainly won't be going anywhere is Kieran Harris, who was handed a 10-year no-fly ban because of a case of mistaken identity.
The university graduate was looking forward to flying to Alicante, Spain, earlier this year but was left shocked when the airline sent over an email the day before the flight stating that Kieran was banned from boarding the Liverpool flight. The email claimed that "due to previous disruptive behaviour" Kieran had received a "10 year no-fly sanction until 15/03/2031".
The trainee auditor claims that the airline had confused him with a lad who was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for behaving aggressively and abusively whilst drunk on an easyJet flight in 2021. He claims that the abusive flyer shares the same full name and birthday with him. It wasn't the first time Kieran has been mistaken for the convicted criminal and claims that the Metropolitan Police stormed his house in bulletproof vests last year after misidentifying him as the wrong Kieran Harris.
The graduate claims that he is even considering a name change if the mix-ups continue, and was left "frustrated" by the experience with easyJet.
