Truly, this is Amanda Holden's world and we are just living in it, but how does the 50-year-old beauty look so glam every day?

For starters, she gets up really really early.

“I get up at 5:20am I get ready and out the door by 5:45am and I go on air at 6.30am," she told.

"I literally give my face a little bit of a spritz, I clean any sleepy dust out of my eyes, then I use an eyebrow pencil. That’s an amazing eyebrow pencil."

The Britain's Got Talent judge and Heart radio host also revealed she would never allow her hair to go grey.

"I will always be blonde. Each to their own – I have some friends that are embracing age, some people that aren’t," she said.

"My mum stopped dyeing her own hair around 60 and she’s got really gorgeous soft-coloured grey hair. I’ll always go ‘Oh god, mummy, can you just put a bit of colour back in?’ But for me, it’s not something I’m going to do."

Amanda Holden told the agency she sees Jennifer Lopez as a model for what women over 50 can achieve in showbiz, but historically modelled her looks after Princess Diana.

"Me and my sister, both of us wanted Princess Diana hair," she said.

"I had a sailor dress because [Diana] wore a sailor dress, I had flat pumps. I made a scrapbook. I was a huge fan."

Her other inspiration, she said, is none other than Australian pop superstar Kylie Minogue.

Reflecting on the UK's response to lockdown, she said: "We’ve got to learn as a nation.

"You know, we’ve won wars, we’ve got through everything with our sense of humour and our stoicism and our ability to stand up for ourselves, and I just hope that we haven’t lost any of that.

"I don’t want Great Britain to go soft, otherwise, I’m leaving – like Kylie!"

Like Kylie, Amanda is set to star in the long-running soap, Neighbours. The pair also share a make-up artist who once mediated a phone call between the two.

"Oh my god, she rang on set as well!” she said.

"Kylie rang Christian. She was like, ‘Let me speak to Amanda’. And I was like, ‘Excuse me, I’m just talking to Charlene, everyone!’ It was such a thrill. So fun and so camp."
