54-year-old Paulina Porizkova is a swimsuit model and grandmother

Paulina Porizkova did her first swimsuit shoot 35 years ago. She was known as one of the top models in 80s. The Czech-born model was also the first woman from Central Europe to be on the cover of an American sports magazine, Sports Illustrated.

From Chanel to Versace, she has been featured on many luxe brand campaigns. She has also tried her stint in acting and was seen in many movies and TV shows. After being a modelling icon for years, Paulina got a chance to model yet again for the SI Swimsuit 2019 issue, which will be out in May.

The former model has two sons and two grandsons and her photos on social media is a living proof that age is just a number. Being sexy is ageless, Paulina rightly stated on her Instagram. Even at 54, she's crushing her modelling shoots. From shooting on the beach to shooting nude for a magazine, Paulina took to her Instagram account and posted a very positive message on how photos are retouched and flaws are removed.

"I hope we all understand that a photoshoot is in part a magic trick. You have been made up by the best people in the business; had hair added and blown and sprayed and makeup expertly applied so it looks perfectly natural and you are just the best version of yourself. You have tried on a hundred bathing suits and bikinis, and only the most flattering have been selected. A great photographer will know exactly where to put you for the best light, and make you feel confident by telling you how beautiful you are on repeat.

Your body shines with a fake tan and bronzers. And then you can shoot endless frames to only capture one single moment on camera. And that perfect moment will be taken to an artist who will make sure any tiny flaws are erased. None of us look like we do in photos in real life
