Abbey Humphreys shows off her incredible figure

Abbey Humphreys is living her best life in Austin, Texas, in her swimsuit. The Perfect Match star shows off her incredible figure in a floral bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts. "Just a girl entirely in her element," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps.

Abbey is an avid reader. "People think i'm a party girl bc I'm very outgoing and absolutely brimming with energy. But i have a limited social battery. I can 1000% be the wild card but I also read 250 books last year. A lil nuance is always fun," she revealed during an Instagram Q & A. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Abbey also revealed that she does HIIT – high intensity interval training – workouts regularly. There is lots of Research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.

Abbey also loves hitting the pavement or the treadmill and running. "To be honest I'm a cardio bunny through and through and ik that's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm addicted to the endorphins," she revealed during the same Q & A. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

Abbey also gets her zen on. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations

Building skills to manage your stress

Increasing self-awareness

Focusing on the present

Reducing negative emotions

Increasing imagination and creativity

Increasing patience and tolerance

Lowering resting heart rate

Lowering resting blood pressure

Improving sleep quality

Abbey loves going on hikes. "Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

Abbey, who suffers from celiacs, maintains a healthy diet. "I eat intuitively and i live my life by the rule 80/20," she revealed during the Q&A. "If you have celiac disease, eating gluten triggers an immune response in your small intestine. Over time, this reaction damages your small intestine's lining and prevents it from absorbing some nutrients (malabsorption). The intestinal damage often causes diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, bloating and anemia, and can lead to serious complications," says the Mayo Clinic.
