Nelly Furtado said goodbye to 2024 with a positive outlook on the new year, sharing a lengthy personal message alongside new swimsuit photos.

The 46-year-old took to Instagram to proclaim, "HAVE A BODY NEUTRAL 2025, ?, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR HEART ♥️," entreating fans to focus on "self-love and genuine confidence" in 2025.

Furtado shared two photos of herself posing in front of a mirror in a neon orange bikini set as she continued in the caption, "This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way , while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self -love and genuine confidence from within."

After she honestly revealed everything she does or has done in the past when it comes to beauty "for whoever cares," Furtado wrote her "New Year's message," telling people to "express yourself freely , celebrate your individuality and know that it’s perfectly OK to be OK with what you see in the mirror , and it’s also OK to want something different."

"We are all cute little humans just bouncing around the earth looking for hugs," Furtado concluded, adding a last note that the post is "not intended to hate on anyone, I am just joining the storytelling community and this story is MINE ??."
