Filipina model Kelsey Merritt says she is so excited being featured in Sports Illustrated

One day after announcing that she is now part of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2019 rookie class, Kelsey Merritt teased her fans with a sneak peek from her shoot with the magazine in the Bahamas.

Another post, this time by Sports Illustrated, shows a short clip of Merritt doing what she does best in front of the camera.

The Filipina model said she is beyond excited for everyone to see the final product of their hard work. “Can’t wait for the issue to come out in May!! The best team,” she said.

In a previous interview with the magazine, Merritt shared how much it means to her to become one of Sports Illustrated’s models.

“I really want to be a Sports Illustrated model because I love how confident the models are and I want to show everyone who is looking at these pictures and reading the magazine that they can also be confident in their own skin,” she said.

Merritt made headlines in November last last year for being the first Filipina model featured in the coveted Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
