Paraguay's Gabriela Soley wins Miss Intercontinental swimsuit contest

Paraguay’s Gabriela Soley won over 82 other delegates in the 47th Miss Intercontinental Best in Swimsuit award in a contest held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila Wednesday night.

Binibining Pilipinas Karen Gallman, meanwhile, received the Miss FiberHealth special title. She earlier received the H&H Salon Standout Beauty and Media’s Favorite awards.

The program also showcased Filipino designers’ creations in a fashion show featuring the delegates.

Chico Estiva bagged the Best Designer trophy for the fringed yellow dress with sheer cape she made for Belarus’ candidate.

The ladies will compete for the Best in Evening Gown award on Thursday, also at Okada Manila. The National Costume Competition is set for Saturday.

The finals will be staged at the Mall of Asia Arena on Jan. 26.
