Emma Hernan just posted a new set of pool photos

Emma Hernan is one of the stars of Netflix's hit reality series, Selling Sunset, having joined in the show's fourth season. She also has her own line of vegan empanadas. Hernan just posted a new set of pool photos on Instagram this week. In them, she wore a strapless black two-piece swimsuit, her figure on display. She captioned the post, "SUN DAZE ☀️ .. Soaking up the summer rays and planning a little getaway for September, comment below where I should go!!!"

Hernan shared how she got into creating her empanada line with Elite Daily. "I grew up cooking in the kitchen with my grandmother from my dad's side, and she was 100% Portuguese," she says. "We would do a bunch of different things and empanadas were one of them. When my grandfather passed away, I moved in with her and took care of her. She was just, like, my person. And then that's how I created the empanadas. I just like creating a healthy fusion, but also bringing something that was important to me and my childhood and in my family."

Hernan shared some of her business secrets with Grazia. She says that she makes sure to stay in charge of what's happening. "My business is 100% owned and bootstrapped by me. I have had many people reach out offering to invest, but for now, I do not need the investment because I secured myself financially before starting out. At a later stage, I am sure I will take on investors to continue growing my business since outside capital is great for a business, but it is amazing having the opportunity to decide when and who I want to invest."

Hernan tells Grazia that she has a lot of support in her life, which helps her business be successful. "I have surrounded myself with great people but have grown my team slowly to not overspend. I now employ 50+ people in Boston, Massachusetts and since I am not there daily, I rely on my team to run the day-to-day operations. Find people you trust and who wants the best for you and your business. Treat them with respect, compensate them for their hard work and make sure you listen to the people around you."

Hernan makes sure to have a good work life balance. She tells Grazia that she makes sure to take time off. "I know it is a cliche, but work hard, play hard! Most days, I work from early morning to very late evenings, but I am working for myself, so I truly enjoy it. However, I make sure that I also leave time for family and friends. Making money or being successful is not everything. You need to take time to do the things that bring you joy in life. Often, when I take time off, and am not rushing to back-to-back meetings, I find myself coming up with new ideas and innovations that I want to work on."

Hernan is all about being kind. She tells Grazia that this has helped her get where she is now. "Be kind, humble and respectful. Being kind does not mean you are a pushover, or people can take advantage of you. Instead, it means that you get to be a good person that other people enjoy working with, and it will bring you opportunities."

Padma Lakshmi recently celebrated her birthday

Padma Lakshmi recently celebrated her birthday, and she did so by sharing a stunning photo on Instagram. In it, Lakshmi posed in a brown swimsuit with puka shells on it, from her recent shoot with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. Lakshmi captioned the photo, "This year I was so blessed, with family and friends who were there for me, cradled me, uplifted me, made me laugh, and reminded me of how rich a life we can live- if we are open to change. I won't say it's been all roses, there have been moments of serious anxiety, insecurity and just feeling lost and low.

But then even in those moments, I realized there was a benefit to be had. A muscle to be strengthened. My heart is open and I am so very grateful. What a glorious year of growth and gratitude.

These pics were of course a milestone, but just the tip of the iceberg. I love you all for being here with me, thank you for following along. I really like your company.

Lakshmi shared one of her go-to workouts in an interview with People. "I've been boxing for over 20 years on and off when my joints permit," she says. "I love boxing. I mean, as much as boxing has helped me physically, it's done way more for me mentally. And I highly recommend it for anyone who's looking to feel more grounded, more focused and more in their body, as well as have more clarity."

Lakshmi's job is to eat food. Naturally, she has to do a lot of working out to combat this. She opened up about her fitness regime to E! News. "Honestly, the secret is just living in the gym. I spend a lot of time working out. I work out at least five or six days a week for one or two hours a day. I have to, because I'm working with food. I have two TV shows that both require me to eat a ton of food."

Lakshmi has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells Into The Gloss that she uses a lot of organic products. "If I'm retaining water, or if I have a big shoot coming up and I want to slim down, I use topical diuretics, which are available at any health food store. I also just use plain old honey in the shower to draw out any impurities in my face. It's antibacterial, but it's also a smoothing agent. You cleanse your skin, and then put the honey on a dry face—if you put honey on a wet face, it'll slide. Then you just play the piano on your skin. If I break out, I also use tea tree oil. I put it in a pot of water, and I literally just steam, like you would if you had a cold. Or I carry a little thing of the essential oil in my makeup case so I can put a little bit on—just a little bit, because it will burn you."

Lakshmi tells Into The Gloss that she eats mostly veggies and plant-based foods. "I'm much more simple about my food choices as I've gotten older and become a mother," she explained. "It's also just what's happening in food, right? We're all eating more whole, less processed foods. I've actually gone back to eating a lot like I ate when I was a child, which is really mostly plant-based. Once in a while some bacon or veal, but mostly it's just poultry and fish. A lot of lentils, a lot of beans—50% of my diet is fruits and vegetables."

Lakshmi tells Into The Gloss that she does a lot of different exercises. "I do everything. If I think it'll help, I do it. I box, I jump rope, I do calisthenics—old-school pushups, and mountain climbers, and sit ups. Things you can do on the floor without any help. But I also go to the gym—the grungier the gym, I find, the better, because they're the ones that have the real machines. I also do a lot of Pilates. I've found that in the way that boxing transformed my body 15 years ago, Pilates has really done that for me now. Because I have some lower-back issues, I can't do certain things that are higher impact. Like, I no longer am able to hit a heavy bag, but I can do a speed bag. So, the boxing is really for me to burn as many calories as I can, because of all the food I'm consuming. The Pilates started out as a way to make my back stronger, but has really transformed my body."

Addison Rae just shared some highlights from a recent vacation

Addison Rae is one of the world's most successful 22 year olds. She's an influencer, best known for her work on TikTok. She's been able to turn that into both an acting and singing career. Rae just shared some highlights from a recent vacation she took on Instagram. In them, she went on a bike ride, went to the beach, and went swimming. She captioned the post, "Special time special place."

In an interview with ELLE, Rae talked about her career so far. In it, she called out the people who are negative on social media. "No matter who you are or what you do, there's going to be negativity," Rae says. "Social media can be toxic, and dealing with it is definitely an uphill battle. The comments can be so cruel, and it really throws me off that people even feel the need to say the things they do. I think if everyone just learnt to love themselves, they'd have less to say about other people."

Rae is all about self-love. One way she has found it is by finding her style and the clothes for her body type. "Learning how to style my body type and understanding what looks good and feels good on me has been a big thing," Rae told ELLE. "Every body is so different, so something that looks great on someone else might not look the same on me. And that's fine. It's about finding things you love, but in a way that makes you feel the most confident – and making it your own."

Rae follows her own instincts when it comes to her career. She tells ELLE that this is why she has so much success. "Everything I've done so far in my career is because of choices I've made, and straying true to myself and my intuition. So why would I listen to what anyone else has to say? I got here all on my own."

In an interview with Vogue, Rae talked about how she handled getting feedback on her music. She says that while she was discouraged with some of the comments at first, she learned to focus on the positive ones. Rae says that this helped her want to go on. "I began to notice there was this group of people who were super-interested in them, and it restored a little bit of excitement about it all for me," she says. "I was just really surprised, after what felt like a long period of time, that people were so interested and wanted to see me continue. And so I began to realize that the only way I can fail is by not continuing. I think that's the most important thing I've learned over the past two-and-a-half years."

Rae shared her skincare routine in an interview with Byrdie. "I start my day with my Item Beauty FastPass Gel Cleanser ($18), then follow up with an Epicuren Enzyme Toner ($22). Then I use the Item Beauty Lite Sauce Moisturizer ($20), which is lighter and easier to use in the morning.

I follow that up with the Epicuren X-Treme Cream Propolis Sunscreen SPF 45 ($43) to get ready for the day…For evening, it stays very similar, except if I'm wearing makeup, I'll use my Item Beauty Slick Type Cleansing Balm ($20), which is great for removing makeup, and then will follow my morning routine steps (gel cleanser, toner). I end with my Item Beauty OverDew Moisturizer ($20) at night, which is thicker and more moisturizing for bedtime."

Taylor Hill shares a lot of her secrets

Taylor Hill is one of the most successful models working right now. She recently enjoyed a vacation, and shared some highlights on Instagram. In a couple of the photos, she is seen having a day at the pool. Hill wore a black swimsuit, her figure on display. She captioned the post, "Till next time."

Hill talked about her journey to self-acceptance in an interview with Byrdie. She says that she learned to accept herself, instead of wanting what she can't have. "I always envied curvy women because I wasn't that. The grass is always greener, and you'll always have to deal with that. But being a model has helped me embrace my body type. It's hard on some girls, but it actually helped me a lot."

Hill talked about what workouts her trainer has her do in her Byrdie interview. She says that she does a lot of muscle isolation. "We do a lot of slow, muscle-targeting movements with gliding discs and two-pound weights. Almost kind of floor Pilates in a way because we get on the floor, and she puts resistance bands around my ankles and things like that. It's so hard—it doesn't sound hard, and it doesn't look hard, but I could back squat, like, 85 pounds, and I quiver when I do this. I'm like, 'Oh my God, I can't stand up anymore because I'm so sore!' It's amazing."

In her Byrdie interview, Hill shared some of her skincare secrets. She says that her go-to cleanser is from CeraVe, and explains her process of using it. "I use it in the shower because my dermatologist told me it's good to wash your face in there—the steam opens up your pores, and it really gets in your skin. When I get out, I splash my face with hot water and then again with cold water."

Hill talked about her approach to fitness in an interview with InStyle. She says that her busy lifestyle can make it difficult to have a regular workout routine. However, Hill says that she doesn't stress about it. "Sometimes I can't work out all the time, because I travel like a crazy person. So sometimes it doesn't work out, and that's OK with me. I just love the idea of it being a part of my life."

One of Hill's fitness secrets? Enjoying it. She tells InStyle, "I like to think of working out and all that stuff as more of a lifestyle. You can make it fun, and find what you love, and do what you like. It's just about being confident with how you are. I work out more for myself than to be thin."

Luisinha Oliveira shows off her flawless figure

Luisinha Oliveira is keeping things hot south of the border – in her swimsuit. In one of her most recent social media posts the model and influencer shows off her flawless figure while lounging around in a bathing suit. "When in Mexico," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps.

Luisinha eats healthy most of the time but indulges in sweet treats like donuts on occasion. "To more smiles, days at the beach, morning swims, good fun, good food and veryy good friends," she captioned a post munching on a baked good.

Luisinha enjoys taking walks on the beach. During a recent trip to Tulum she shared photos from a walk on the shoreline. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

On the same trip, Luisinha gave followers a glimpse at some of her vacation must-haves, one of which was a bottle of Fiji water. She also shared a photo of herself drinking out of a coconut. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Oliveira has also shared photos of herself doing yoga. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

Oliveira is a big proponent of hot water therapy and loves taking baths. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

Madison Pettis is enjoying herself in the sun and sea

Actress Madison Pettis is looking back on a magical August spent at the beach, as summer draws to an end. Pettis, 25, shared a series of pictures of herself enjoying the sun and sea with friends, including a snap of herself posing on the sand in a gorgeous orange bikini and trucker hat. "August slipped away into a moment in time," she captioned the post. "Why was this literally the best month every ❤️? missing u alreadyyyy," commented friend Torri Webster.

Pettis practices Pilates using a reformer machine. "A lot of people have weak core and back muscles, and strengthening these postural muscles helps balance out the tension that results from this weakness," says athletic trainer Leanne Wonesh. "This is especially great for people who sit at desks for long periods of time because having stronger core and back muscles can help pull you out of those classic desk postures that cause tension and pain in your shoulders and legs."

Pettis is just one of many people who have discovered a love for pickleball. "Pickleball is a great form of cardiovascular exercise that helps get your heart rate up," says Kaitlyn Jacobson, Physician Assistant at Renown Urgent Care – Ryland. "It can lead to better cholesterol and blood pressure levels, lowering your risk of heart disease. Since pickleball is a low-impact sport and easy on the body, it's a great way to get movement in and maintain healthy bones, joints and muscles. By playing pickleball, you'll reduce the rate of bone loss and help conserve bone tissue."

Pettis has battled acne over the years, and is thankful for professional guidance in dealing with it. "I felt more comfortable on camera because I was working with hair and makeup artists on sets," she says. "I felt lucky that I had professionals guiding me on what was best for my skin, how to take care of it after wearing a lot of heavy makeup on set and [teaching me] the best ways to cover up my acne. I've taken notes and done my due diligence… [My skin] doesn't love when I try a bunch of new things. I've learned that less is more — if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Pettis doesn't feel the need to wear makeup every day. "Beauty to me means doing what makes you feel good about yourself, no matter what other people think about it," she says. "Some days I feel great without makeup, and some days I want to do a full beat. Don't ever let someone tell you what you should do to be beautiful. Do you."

Pettis has learned how to take care of her beautiful curly hair. "One important tip for curly hair is getting it trimmed regularly and finding a hair stylist who cuts curly hair properly," she says. "They need to cut it while it's dry, ringlet by ringlet, so you can accurately see how much is getting cut, so it doesn't end up being shorter than you wanted. For years, I got hair cuts while my hair was wet. Curly hair is longer when it's wet and shrinks up when it's dry. So I had a few traumatizing haircuts where it looked like they were only cutting off one inch, but once it dried, they had actually cut like four inches. Another tip is to dry curly hair with a microfiber towel to prevent frizz. Deep conditioners are also my best friend—my hair can't get enough moisture."

Galilea Montijo just shared some stunning new photos

Galilea Montijo is an actress and TV host. She's the current host of the talk show Hoy, and previously hosted Pequeños Grandes. Montijo just shared a stunning new post on Instagram. In it, she sat in a pool in a black swimsuit. She captioned the photo, "May life always return you to those happy place."

Montijo shared some of her wellness secrets with People. "Right now, as a woman, I want to be well first. It's a process of months or years. I don't know what will happen tomorrow, but as a woman I am very involved in my work. It's not that I couldn't before, but there were things that I had to choose and I always chose my family first. I would like to return to acting."

Montijo makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She says to People that her secret is doing workouts that she actually likes. "You have to find an exercise that you like. If you take exercise as therapy it changes everything, you shouldn't take exercise as mandatory."

Montijo talked about her diet and eating secrets in her People interview. She says that she doesn't like to diet or restrict herself. She also says that she will indulge once in a while. "I have realized that dieting is not for me. On the weekend I give myself what I like, but I try to take care of myself."

Montijo tells People that she eats a lot of protein in her diet. "I've found that eating right, eating protein in the morning, at night and in the morning [does good]." Piedmont states that protein has a lot of benefits. "Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are comprised mostly of protein."

In an interview, Montijo talked about her struggles with her heart. She says that she is seeing a doctor and taking medication to help. "Literally yes, I already became hypertensive. The heart stroke thing, well, I'm on medication, pericarditis too. I carry my pressure device, before I carried my heels in my hand, now I carry the pressure device but everything is under control. What the cardiologist tells me about a stroke in the heart sounds scandalous, but when the heart feels attacked by a virus, the heart itself expels a fluid to protect itself, so that fluid must be removed with medication, so far it is with medicines, he told me: 'You're not going to die from that.'"

Devon Aoki shows off her gorgeous body

Devon Aoki is modeling in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts, a compilation of snaps from a Vogue photoshoot, the supermodel shows off her gorgeous body while in the water.

"Everyone has their own insecurities, regardless of how you look or how people perceive you, but sometimes people give their insecurities too much power." Aoki told Tarts in an exclusive interview, via Fox News. "Defining beauty is simply a matter of opinion. For me, real beauty has very little to do with the structure of someone's face or body."

For her role in the Mutant Chronicles, Devon did a lot of arm work. "I had to pump my arms up quite a bit. They were a little on the weak side when we started and by the end of filming, I was pretty rock solid," she told Tarts. "The funny thing was most the boys got dummy guns that weigh very little, and I got the real McCoy! I was running around with a 30-pound gun under my arm for the entire film. That might have been their way of telling me I needed some muscles!"

Devon enjoys swimming in the ocean. Here she is with one of her kids, swimming with fins on. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

Devon maintains a healthy and nutritious diet filled with lots of fruits and veggies. She even grows her own produce. "Colors of summer. Vegetable garden booty!" she captioned a recent post.

Devon practices regular meditation. "The quieter you become, the more you can hear. -Baba Ram Das," she captioned a post. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations

Building skills to manage your stress

Increasing self-awareness

Focusing on the present

Reducing negative emotions

Increasing imagination and creativity

Increasing patience and tolerance

Lowering resting heart rate

Lowering resting blood pressure

Improving sleep quality

Devon enjoys outdoor workouts, like hiking. "Nature + family = everything I (ever) wished for ," she captioned a post. "Many people feel a lot of tension about working out, losing weight and lowering their blood pressure," ShaNay Norvell, a certified fitness instructor who leads classes at Cancer Wellness, tells Piedmont Health. "Outdoor exercise is enjoyable and feels more like play than a chore."

She says that when it comes to her diet, she believes in both moderation, and finding healthy versions of what she's craving. "I do have a sweet tooth," McGuinness says. "I allow myself treats in moderation, mainly weekends. When I'm craving sugar, I reach for the fruit bowl, or a mixed veg and fruit smoothie."

McGuinness tells Women Fitness that she makes sure to eat healthy. She says that a certain vegetable is a favorite of hers. "Green and protein is what I aim for. At the minute, I'm eating avocado with almost everything! Avocado with egg, avocado with chicken, avocado smash bagel. It's healthy and filling, it does contain fats, but good fats."

McGuinness shared some of her hair and skincare secrets in her Women Fitness interview. "I love to use coconut shampoo and conditioner on my hair, and coconut moisturizer on my skin. It works wonders and smells amazing. It is thanks to my coco butter that I only got a couple of stretch marks during my pregnancies, and they are barely visible. I am lucky with my facial skin, Its rare that I will get spots or blemishes, I put this down to drinking lots of water and barely wearing make up. I often get asked what I use to cleanse my face; the truth is I only ever use water to wash my face."

One thing McGuinness likes to do to keep herself in shape is going swimming. She shared a photo on Instagram of herself on a pool float. McGuinness captioned the post, "Lovely family holiday ?Loads of you have asked how the kiddies got on (it's their first trip abroad in 4 years, they don't really enjoy travel or change) but with lots of prep and patience ? they done incredibly well and have absolutely loved it! ?Very very proud mummy."

Veale likes to dance to stay in shape. She specifically likes to do dance challenges on TikTok. Veale shared a video of herself and her friends doing a dance TikTok, captioning it, "Wasn't gonna post this on here but it's just too good." Prudential states that dance has a lot of benefits. "Increased movement also usually means increased weight loss. A study in the Journal of Physiological Anthropology found aerobic dance training can help you lose just as much weight as biking or jogging."

Veale spends a lot of time outside. One thing she likes to do is go on hikes and walks. She shared a photo on Instagram of herself going on a hike in Malta, while on a charter. According to the National Parks Services, hiking has a lot of benefits. "Being in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health. In addition to having mental health benefits, being outdoors opens up your senses to your surroundings and improves your sensory perception. Taking in the sights, smells, and feelings of nature has so many health benefits it can even be prescribed by a doctor."
