Shweta Sharda shared swimsuit photos for miss universe

Shweta Sharda is modeling for Miss Universe in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the beauty queen flaunts her amazing figure in a two-piece bathing suit. "It's about time!" she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "Nothing compares to miss India ?? put the crown on her now," commented one of her followers. "Goddess," added another.

"According to me, mental health is my priority. I keep negative thoughts away," Shweta told Health Shots. "But in the future if things don't go as expected, I will cherish my journey and the things that I have. It's all about having a positive mindset. Also, I don't compare myself with others."

Shweta maintains a healthy diet. "My approach to health and beauty is holistic. I maintain a balanced diet rich in nutrients and ensure proper hydration," she dished to Indian Express.

Another mental health secret of Shweta's? "I practice meditation," she told Health Shots. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations

Building skills to manage your stress

Increasing self-awareness

Focusing on the present

Reducing negative emotions

Increasing imagination and creativity

Increasing patience and tolerance

Lowering resting heart rate

Lowering resting blood pressure

Improving sleep quality.

"My mom is my guiding light," Shweta told Health Shots about her inspiration. "She has taught me to prioritize myself and that self-love is very important. You need space for yourself because it helps to connect with yourself."

Shweta doesn't skip a workout. "Regular physical exercise is essential for both mental and physical well-being," she explained to Indian Express. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

Miley Cyrus has made some changes to your diet because she felt she was running on empty

Miley Cyrus is taking time for herself. In a new social media post the singer indulges in self-care. "So close to heaven but so far from everyone," she wrote in the caption of the Instagram Post. "Grateful for this #Island & the abundant magic she shared with us."

Miley maintained an animal product free diet for many years. "I was vegan for a very long time and I've had to introduce fish and omegas into my life because my brain wasn't functioning properly," she said on The Joe Rogan Experience. "Now I'm so much sharper than I was and I think that I was, at one point, pretty malnutritioned," she said. "I remember going to Glastonbury [music festival] and that was a show that I loved—I loved my performance—but I was running on empty." She also added gluten back into her diet.

Miley does two hours of Ashtanga yoga daily, she told Billboard. In her latest social media post, she does yoga on a paddleboard. Why should you do yoga? "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," Harvard Health says. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

Miley recently told British Vogue that she adores fitness – everything from ViPR to TRX training to dance and partner work, and often has friends over to work out. "I only hang out with, like, gay men. So they come over, and we do a whole class based off of Nicki Minaj or we have a Britney series. I have a Madonna 'Vogue' series, which is doing the entire bow choreography with, like, our little weights."

Miley works with "amazing" healers, and recently "did a lot of EMDR," she told Vogue about the eye-movement, memory-linked trauma therapy she started a little over a year ago. "It's so helpful," she continued. "Essentially, you delete the physical sensations associated with these painful memories. The EMDR really helped me."

Miley is big on journaling "I make choices that I'm proud of that protect me… I put my mental and physical health before a paycheque… I freed up space for myself to be with friends and family doing what I love, which is working out, eating well, learning ways about how to enhance my life, staying dedicated to practices and protocols that are specifically designed for me," she wrote in an entry, reading it to Vogue.

Nicole Williams shows off her amazing body

Nicole Williams English is celebrating her friend's birthday – in her bathing suit. In a new social media post the model shows off her amazing body in a swimsuit as she wishes her pal and "Scorpio Sissy" Kamie Crawford, a very happy birthday. "This is a true reflection of beauty and women empowerment. Absolutely stunning," commented a follower.

Nicole works out with her trainer several times a week to combat any sagging. "I'll do 100 sit-ups and use bands while I watch TV each night. Right now, I'm also trying to learn to do the splits, so I work on that nightly too," she told Vue New Jersey.

Nicole has been on a plant-based diet for almost a decade. She also avoids dairy products but does consume healthy carbs – no white flour or sugar. "A vegetarian meal that myself and my husband agree on is my vegan shepherd's pie. It is beyond amazing, I use Beyond Meat and a bunch of vegetables and potatoes and he loves it," she told Good American.

Nicole also told Vue that she prioritizes hydration, and drinks a lot of water. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

Nicole also loves pilates. "The best workout to get your body long and lean ?? I've never really loved working working out but Pilates really makes it fun and I see instant results," she captioned a recent post of herself on the reformer.

Nicole takes care of her skin by limiting the makeup she wears when she isn't working and when she does wear it, she never goes to sleep without first washing it all off. She also uses essential oils, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and retinol and never skips sunscreen.

Colombian Model Manuela Alvarez Hernandez shared a set of photos from the beach

Model Manuela Alvarez Hernandez Manuela Alvarez Hernandez is one of the hot new models right now. In 2019, she was one of Sports Illustrated's SI Swim Search winners. And her recent Instagram post proves why she got the job. Hernandez shared a set of photos from the beach. She wore a bunch of different swimsuits, including one in yellow, one in orange, and one in black. Hernandez captioned the post, "Leaving these here just before summer ends."

Hernandez wants to be an inspiration for other Latina models. She talked about this in an interview with HOLA USA, after winning the SI Swim Search. "It's an honor," she said. "And for me, it's huge because coming from Medellin and moving to the U.S., I didn't really think that my life was going to take this direction. The fact that I'm following my dreams, and I get to be myself and represent Latinas is truly an honor.

Hernandez talked about how she prepped for the SI shoot to HOLA USA. "I knew that the day of the shoot I wanted to feel my best and feel confident," she said. "A few weeks before, I did work out a lot. I would go to the gym once or twice a day every single day. I tried to cut out dairy, meat and tried to have mainly a plant-based diet. It was really hard for me just because I love food. I love pizza; I love carbs. It really did take a lot for me to restrain myself from eating meat and all the fried foods and all the good stuff. That's probably the best shape I've been in in my life."

At the 2019 SI Swimsuit On Location event in Miami, Hernandez revealed to a reporter that she put school ahead of her modeling dreams. "It honestly feels like a crazy dream," Hernandez said. "It's insane to see that it's becoming a reality and I'm living it. Honestly, I'm really glad that I went to school and got my degree and that now I have the chance to do modeling all the time. Now I'm in LA, so it's honestly just been amazing."

As you can see from her recent Instagram post, Hernandez likes to go to the beach. One thing she likes to do there is swim. She shared this video on Instagram of herself running into the water. Hernandez captioned the post, "I love this feeling." Better Health states that, "Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it's a good way to relax and feel good."

Swimming isn't the only outdoor workout Hernandez likes to do. She also enjoys going skiing. Hernandez shared this set of photos and videos of herself on the slopes of Big Bear Mountain. She captioned the post, "A fun day on the mountain." SkiCanada.org states, "It's well documented that skiing and snowboarding benefits cardiovascular health, overall fitness, strength, coordination, balance and more. Regardless of your health and fitness goals, strapping on a pair of skis or a snowboard is sure to fulfill some of them. Due to the versatility of skiing and snowboarding, it can encompass the benefits of a cardio workout, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session, and strength training session, all in one fun activity."

Courtney Hope shares swimsuit photos

The Bold and the Beautiful star Courtney Hope wished friend Brit Sheridan a very happy birthday by posting a sweet picture of them together on social media. Hope, 34, shared a photo of herself hugging Sheridan, wearing a stars and stripes bikini and straw hat. "Happiest of birthdays to the brightest light that has ever entered my life. 20 years have flown by and I couldn't be more thankful for your loyalty, wisdom and endless laughter. Seeing you conquer what the world has thrown at you with positivity, grace, openness, a soft heart, and the strongest will has been one of the most inspiring things I've ever witnessed. Your songs, your teaching, your punny jokes, and your non-judgmental spirit give this world so much healing. I'm so thankful God brought you into my life, to be my best friend, and to help light up my path! I love you ?✨," she captioned the shot.

Hope enjoys a mostly plant-based diet. "Because I have food allergies, I avoid dairy, wheat, gluten and eggs," she says. "I would describe my diet as mostly vegan and plant based with fish like salmon, bass, tuna and cod, mixed in. On rare occasions, I will also have turkey. I supplement my protein intake with Burton Nutrition Plant Based Vegan Protein for shakes and to mix with oats. Garbanzo beans, hemp, flax and sunflower seeds, as well as pine nuts, are also regular staples on my food shopping list, along with Brussel sprouts, asparagus, carrots, peppers, onions, sweet potatoes, avocados and rice cakes."

Hope loves Pilates and weight training. "I think one of the best things to have is a set of lighter hand weights," she says. "You can always do high reps with low weights and get that toned look. Also, getting some exercise bands help and they don't cost a lot of money. You can get a set of them for $25-$35. You can put them on doors, then on your arms and legs, and do outer thighs or glute exercises… You can use a gallon jug of water for lifting weights or put books in a backpack to wear on your back and front for weighted squats. If you don't have the space for a treadmill or StairMaster, get outside and move around for cardio. Just keep moving."

Hope has a go-to recipe for healthy smoothies. "I always start with a vegetable vanilla milk, then add a protein powder," she says. "If it's a fruit smoothie, I'll add banana or mangoes or blueberries, or I'll do an avocado or kale smoothie with flaxseed powder. The protein powder I have is chocolate, so it stays sweet. If I do need a little extra-sweet, I'll put in a little bit of organic honey… I'll have half of a rice cake with some sunflower butter or I'll have fruit or I'll make chia seed pudding or I'll cut up a banana and put coconut yogurt on the slices, drizzle them in chocolate, then freeze them."

Hope teaches Cardio Barre and does two sessions a week. "Normally, I like to go twice a week, and I mix that with walking and Pilates, which I am also trained in," she says. "I try to mix it up, because I've learned that my body kind of likes a little bit of everything. I've been told my classes skew on the harder side, and that's just because I have a lot of energy. I tend to dance around a lot and make a lot of jokes. I even once had a Janet Jackson moment where my sports bra broke halfway through a pushup!"

Hope is happiest when she's trying new things. "Life is constantly expanding for me," she says. "I have a peaked interest in a variety of areas surrounding heath, wellness, artistry, creativity and spirituality. I have some cool fitness projects coming up soon that I am excited for and more acting opportunities are always just around the corner! I just enjoy living life every day to the fullest and being open and ready for any and all new adventures!"

Xandra Pohl is sizzling in Spain

Xandra Pohl is sizzling in Spain in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the influencer shows off amazing body in a bathing suit. "Viva ibiza," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "GODDESS," commented one of her followers. "Boss lady. Beautiful," added another.

Xandra prioritizes hydration, drinking water and even coconut water. "Nothing better then this… tropical house and a coconut," she captioned a post. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Xandra has been skiing most of her life. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.

Xandra is a hiker. "I'm in Colorado and we are going on a 10 mile hike," she exclaimed in a video," adding in the caption, "cant even feel my legs rn they hurt so bad." According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

Building stronger muscles and bones

Improving your sense of balance

Improving your heart health

Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems.

Xandra is a coffee drinker. Even when it's cold, you can find her with an iced coffee. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Xandra gets her steps in. While visiting her family in the midwest she took a morning walk with her dog. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Sara Sampaio shares swimsuit photos looking Magical

Sara Sampaio is heating up Ecuador in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the Victoria's Secret beauty shows off her amazing body in a black bathing suit, throwing her followers into a frenzy. "Magical," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "First pic gives me bond girl vibes," commented one. "Wow," added another.

Sara wakes up "around nine, ten" and fuels up with a hearty meal."My favorite breakfast is two sunny-side-up eggs with avocado toast. And sometimes I'll have pancakes, maybe with some banana," she told The Cut.

Sara likes an amped up version of pilates. "I've been doing a lot of SLT. It's like a really intense Pilates with a machine. I've noticed with my body that small movements have done more for my body than the boot camps. My body moves better when it's very focused on small movements that elongate your body and your muscles," she told The Cut. "I tried SLT for the first time five or six years ago when I first got to New York. It was really hard, it was too hard. Then I was training for the Victoria's Secret show last year and gave it another try. I really liked it, it was not as hard. I think they had changed it a little bit. I could actually go through a whole class without feeling like I was going to break down."

Sara also pounds the pavement. "I'm not a runner, but I'm pushing myself. When the weather gets a little bit nicer, I start thinking, Ah, I may just go for a run outside, even if it's just about a five-minute run," she told The Cut.

"I'm a big believer in not doing crazy diets and not to stop eating what makes you happy or what you like," Sara told The Cut. Instead, her approach is all about balance. "If you've had a long day and you really want a burger, just have that burger or pizza and maybe for lunch the next day you have fish with vegetables or salad with chicken," she said. "I've been through, not crazy diets, but I've been very strict or not eaten carbs and that made me so crazy. I'm from Portugal — we eat a lot of carbs, like bread, pasta, and rice in just one meal. There's no worse thing when you want something so bad and you're like, I can't have it, I can't have it. I was stressing so much about it that my body was not feeling well. Mentally, you're not feeling good. If I want to have a little bread for lunch because it makes me happy, I'm good."

Sara told The Cut that rest is also important. "If I don't get my eight hours of sleep, it's going to be a hard day. Your skin regenerates, your eyes are brighter and bigger, you know? Sleeping is a reset of your body. I try to work out as much as I can, but also giving yourself some rest time," she said.

Model Izabel Goulart is celebrating her birthday

Izabel Goulart is celebrating her birthday in her bathing suit. In a new social media post the Brazilian supermodel thanks her friends for making her 39th trip around the sun extra special, posing on a surfboard in her swimsuit. "I have the best friends ever.! Couldn't ask for anything else on my birthday. ! And thank you for all the b-day messages, felling so much love from everyone," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps.

Izabel understands the physical and mental health benefits of exercise. "I am a model professionally but I'm also an athlete, a friend, a daughter, a sister and many other things. Training has helped me overcome stress and fears to be successful in other aspects of my life," told Elle Australia. "I tell my trainers… to train me like I will become a professional in that sport. If you have focus, motivation [and] dedication, you can accomplish your goals."

Izabel controls what goes into her body by cooking her own meals when she can. "I travel a lot, but when I'm home, I cook every day," she told Elle. One thing she loves to cook? Freshly baked bread.

"The first thing I do in the morning is prepare fresh juice. I have 15 different recipes, which I drink for 15 days consecutively. Then I repeat the recipes from the beginning for the next 15 days of the month. My juices include fruit, vegetables, leafy greens, and even grains. After a workout, I have a protein drink and always keep a protein bar in my bag," she told Vogue.

"I try to keep the foods I put in my body as basic as possible: protein, carbs and vegetables. When I go out, I just try to make the healthiest choices on the menu," she told Elle about her approach to eating. "I do not believe in crazy diets [that help you] lose many kilos in just a few days. This is not good for your body," she added to Vogue.

Izabel maintains a positive outlook. "I don't wake up everyday thinking I have to look good, but I wake up everyday thinking I want to feel happy," she told Elle. "I want to walk in a room and be able to make people smile and laugh. It's all about confidence."

Izabel does lots of different workouts "My favorite outdoor activities are running, yoga, and functional training. My favorite indoor workouts are Pilates, kickboxing, functional training, and a lot of different exercises at the gym with and without weights—including TRX," she told Vogue.

Mindy Kaling is living her best life

The Office star Mindy Kaling is modeling swimwear and living her best life. The actress and writer shared a gorgeous picture of herself posing on a sun lounger, wearing a dark green bikini with matching shoes and a cover up. "I love bikinis on other people but I'm sometimes nervous about wearing them myself. That's why I loved this Amor Top and Bottoms from my collection with @andieswim. There's enough coverage without seeming overly modest. If you've been wanting to try a bikini but are hesitant maybe give these a try. The material is so comfortable, and I love a 'darker' non-black color for bikinis. (This is Dragonfly! ??)," she captioned the post.

Kaling's attitude to health has changed over the years. "I think my definition of wellness and beauty has evolved over time," she says. "In my twenties, I was definitely someone who thought that beauty was completely divorced from wellness and beauty was about the gaze of other people and trying to live up to that. And, also, a fun self-expression tool for myself. But there is no beauty without wellness for me now, at my age. If I eat badly, if I'm using the wrong products because I'm rushed, if I don't take care to do the steps… So much of what makes me healthy is also, at my age, [what] makes me beautiful. I think they're very interrelated now."

Kaling focused on consuming protein and vegetables to lose weight. "I had my son in the first year of the pandemic in September 2020… It was this almost extended maternity leave. I wasn't going to be on camera, the studios were shut down," Kaling explained. "After I had my daughter I had to shoot a movie like two months later, so I was very much like, 'Just give me grilled salmon and sautéed spinach. I'm going to eat that for three months.'"

Kaling is obsessive about skincare and clean skin. "So what I always do [first] when I take off my makeup is I use a hot washcloth, so I'm not using my expensive products to take stuff off that could have just been taken off with a cloth," she says. "Then I'll do some kind of an oil-based makeup removing balm. Or if it's not oil-based, it has that smooth, creamy feeling to take off most of my makeup. The one that I've been using these days is the Drunk Elephant Slaai. I also really like the Augustinus Bader cleansing balm. That one's pricier so that'll be like, if someone gives that to me for a gift for Christmas, my birthday, I'll use that one."

Kaling follows up her cleansing routine with an exfoliating powder scrub. "So every stitch of makeup is off my skin," she says. "I don't know whether this is some phobia I have, but the idea of going to bed with even a drop of makeup on is gross to me. So I do a double cleanse and then I'll tone my skin and that's when I put the [Unspotted 4X] serum on. I'll wait a couple of minutes, send a couple emails, go do something with my kids, come back and put on a really moisturizing moisturizer, a little eye cream sometimes. I often forget eye cream and then go to bed."

Kaling took control of her diet after the pandemic lockdowns ended. "When the world started coming back a little bit I thought, 'This kind of eating what appears, not taking any consideration for what I'm eating is probably not the way to go,'" she says. "Honestly, I didn't really do anything differently. I eat what I like to eat. If I do any kind of restrictive diet, it never really works for me. I just eat less of it… I wish there was something more juicy or dynamic about the way that I've lost a little bit of weight, but that's the way I've done it."

Argentine model Pampita flaunts her amazing figure

Pampita is heating up social media in a red hot swimsuit. In a new post, the Argentine model and television host flaunts her amazing figure in a fiery bathing suit, throwing her fans into a frenzy. "You look savage, gorgeous!!!" commented one. "Mi amor," added another.

Pampita is all about self-love, acceptance, and embracing her age. "I look pretty, with some wrinkles but wiser. Today I accept myself as I am," she said, according to Infobabe.

Pampita's manager, Gastón Stati, revealed that his star client is incredibly healthy and disciplined, especially when it comes to her diet. He claims that she rarely drinks alcohol and has never used drugs or smoked cigarettes. She also stays away from restrictive diets. She does have a few weaknesses, however: Pasta and dulce de leche ice cream.

Pampita prioritizes exercise, but makes sure to stick to workouts that she actually likes. "The only way to last over time is to do what you like," she says. Part of her plan? A whopping 200 ab exercises per day! Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

Pamita attends dance classes twice a week, doing reggaeton, Brazilian music and cumbia, "to burn calories and work her legs," says her teacher. Dancing helps build strength, promotes flexibility, aids in weight loss, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers.

Pampita also makes sure to hydrate. She told Big Bang that she drinks two to three liters of water per day. "It's fed conscientiously, in measured doses," she explained. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

Jodie Kidd shows off her amazing body at the beach

Jodie Kidd is wearing a stars and stripes swimsuit. In a new social media post, the supermodel shows off her amazing body in a flag-inspired bathing suit on the beach. "A lovely Cornish October Dip," she captioned the Instagram post. "Look at those legs!!!" her pal Chloe Delevigne commented. "That looks cold," added another.

Jodie is all about greens and starts her day with a combination of super veg and powders. "This morning, [I had] a smoothie made with avocado, organic apples, spinach, green powder, maca powder and seeds," she told Women's Health. "Okay, I'll be honest; I don't always finish the green concoctions."

Jodie is "passionate about good food and try to eat as whole, organic and alkaline as possible," she told Women's Health. The diet involves eating low acid foods like sugar, processed food, wheat, dairy, and alcohol.

I "grow all [my] own vegetables and herbs on our land and eat meat from organic, local suppliers. A typical dinner will be a chicken casserole made with vegetables from the garden. Since doing Celebrity MasterChef [I love] working on new recipes in the kitchen and whipping up something original for dinner," she told Women's Health. "Now I'm in my mid-thirties I'm so much more respectful of my body and what I put in it. When I was younger, I existed on burgers and pizza, but if I eat like that now I just feel so lethargic. It's the silver lining of getting older – you actually learn what's good for your body."

"I'm a passionate sportswoman – I used to play polo and still race cars now and again – but mainly it's being a country girl that keeps me fit. My mind is happiest when I'm physically doing something. I love going for long walks," Jodie told Women's Health. "I live in the West Sussex countryside and by the time I've mucked out the horses, walked the dogs, chased the chickens around – let alone running after my three-year-old son Indio constantly – I don't feel the need to schedule in workouts."

She also hits the gym. "When I'm in the city for work and I'm not moving as much, I make sure I go to KX Gym in South Kensington," she added.

Anfisa Nava is preparing for a bikini competition and her physique looks absolutely incredible

90 Day Fiancé star Anfisa Nava is preparing for a bikini bodybuilding competition and her physique looks absolutely incredible. Nava is open and honest about the sacrifices she has to make to get into the right shape for competitions, and says it's not something that can be sustainable permanently. "Contest prep shape is not sustainable long term! And is also very deceiving," she captioned the post.

Nava was focused on losing weight before she became interested in bodybuilding. "First, I lost about 15 pounds in about six months and that's when I started thinking about competing," she says. "So then I actually gained a little weight to increase my muscle. But then I lost more. It took about a year and a half. I wasn't in a rush. In the beginning, I was 146 pounds and now I'm about 120. I've actually been skinny my whole life, but when I moved to the United States I gained about 15 to 20 pounds. The food here is different from the way I used to eat in Russia. In Russia, I would eat home-cooked meals but here I would go out to eat a lot. And I wasn't really controlling it, I was eating everything. There was also more stress."

Nava focused on portion sizes and cardio to lose weight. "I just reduced my portion size and started doing cardio too," she says. "I was doing the elliptical or the treadmill five or six times a week for 30-40 minutes… We'll see how this first [competition] goes. I don't really have any expectations. I just want to get my feet wet and see what it's like and go from there. Besides the competition I'm going to school."

Nava loves cooking herself healthy meals. "Chicken thighs with brown rice and veggies… Switching from eating chicken breast to chicken thighs has been literally life changing for me," she says. "I like simple quick meals and I found that chicken breast often comes out somewhat dry and tasteless. So I decided to try chicken thighs and OMG what a difference. This time I made them on the grill but usually I just cut the thighs into small pieces, throw on the pan, season, and cook for 5-6 minutes. Comes out amazing every time. It does have more fat than breast but that's alright."

Nava is making it clear her current physique is strictly for competing. "It's a proven fact that strength training helps women stay healthy, be strong and live longer," she says. "As I mentioned in the beginning, contest prep shape is deceiving in photos, because I am not a giant hulk in person. I'm 120 lbs 5'6" woman ? the level of conditioning required to compete is pretty extreme, so even with only 3-4 extra lbs I won't look that shredded anymore."

Nava is tired of people telling her she looked better before entering bodybuilding competitions. "As for 'you looked better before', I feel happy with every shape I am in," she says. "I like to be lean and feel light and as if I'm not walking but gliding. And I also like to enjoy foods and be more curvy ☺️. Bodybuilding and competing is a part of my life now, and I know this may not have been the reason you follow me in the first place. So feel free to click the unfollow button because I want to surround myself with people who are not afraid of change and growth and are happy for others on their journey ❤️."

Nicole Borromeo shows off her amazing body

Nicole Borromeo is sharing her official swimsuit photo for the Miss International beauty pageant. In a new social media post, the beauty queen shows off her amazing body in a white bathing suit, teasing her followers about her upcoming competition. "what does this concept remind you of? ?My official swimsuit photo for @missinternationalofficial ? we are no. 1 as of the moment!! Thank you so so much for all the support," she captioned the Instagram post.

Nicole loves to make a splash in the pool. "Who says we have to grow up?" she captioned a video of herself and a friend, doing exercises and dancing in the pool. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

Nicole recently competed in a 21k. To prepare she spent a lot of time running on the treadmill. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

Nicole also loves to snorkel. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water a la Nicole is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Nicole is a yogi. She recently shared a "practice the pause," photo with her followers, spending International Women's day with "empowered" women doing yoga and meditation to "recharge." There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

"Did you know that if we DON'T MOVE, we can actually LOSE our ability to?" Nicole captioned a recent post, highlighting the benefits of stretching and massage. "When fascia is healthy, it is flexible and allows for fluid movement. However, when fascia becomes tight and restricted, it can cause pain, stiffness, and decreased range of motion," she wrote. "There are many ways to improve fascia health, including stretching, massage, and fascial maneuvers. Fascial maneuvers are a type of manual therapy that can help to release tension and improve the function of the fascia. You can learn DO IT YOURSELF!!"

Cheerleader Olivia Kerins spent her summer in style on vacation in Punta Cana

New England Patriots cheerleader Olivia Kerins spent summer in style on vacation at the Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Kerins shared highlights of her fun-filled trip, including a beautiful snap of herself posing on the beach in a dark bikini, against a background of palm trees and ocean waters. "On Island Time?," she captioned the post. "You are PERFECT," commented fellow Pats cheerleader Eliza Lynne Kanner.

Kerins has a nursing degree, something she says runs in the family. "I am one of over 20 nurses in my family," she says. "You're very safe in our house, we like to say. There's a lot of us." Kerins grew up doing plenty of volunteering and charity work, and believes her spot as a New England Patriots cheerleader was meant to be. "I don't want to say it's coincidental, but growing up, my dad always said that the Kraft family was the gold standard for volunteerism. It just feels right at this point, to be part of the Patriots organization, because that's always been a motto in our house."

Kerins is passionate about cancer prevention, and never skips sunblock when she's cheering outside. "I think any setting, like when you're around like-minded people who support you and have their own goals and passions that you can support as well, it's just built for success," she says. "I hope to be a really strong voice for skin cancer prevention, and really, all forms of cancer prevention. Just using my background and knowledge as a nurse to elevate the organization, I want to show ways people can support and be active in the community for those things, whether they're a nurse or not."

Kerins loves bananas and strawberries as a nutritious, delicious snack on the go. "Naturally nutrient-rich strawberries are packed with essential vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, antioxidants and phytochemicals — a natural plant compound," says Allyn Wergin, RDN. "The majority of health-promoting phytochemicals in strawberries are anthocyanins, which give strawberries their bright-red color."

Kerins practices yoga as part of her health and wellness regimen. "All exercise can boost your mood by lowering levels of stress hormones, increasing the production of feel-good chemicals known as endorphins, and bringing more oxygenated blood to your brain," according to Harvard Health. "But yoga may have additional benefits. It can affect mood by elevating levels of a brain chemical called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is associated with better mood and decreased anxiety."

Kerins does weight training workouts using kettlebells with her fellow cheerleaders. "Unlike dumbbells, which you grip at the center of the mass, you grip kettlebells outside of their center of mass," according to Harvard Health. "This requires you to exert more muscle force to control the weight, providing a more challenging workout."

Hailey Bieber shows off her amazing body

Hailey Bieber is stripping down into a swimsuit for GQ. In a new social media post the supermodel wife of singer Justin Bieber shows off her amazing body in a few bathing suits, all part of a photoshoot for the iconic magazine. "Talking all things @rhode and life," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps.

"On a regular day, breakfast is usually eggs or oatmeal, some type of healthy protein, or a smoothie. Lunch is usually salad, fish, grilled veggies, or maybe a sandwich. I don't really eat a lot of gluten so I'm trying to be particular. I love a good kale Caesar salad [but with] no croutons. That's usually one thing I leave out. Dinner is usually kind of along the same lines [as lunch]; some sort of vegetable, or pasta, like a gluten-free pasta," Hailey dished o ELLE about her diet.

In an interview with Allure, Hailey revealed her thoughts on baths. "Love," she confessed. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

Bieber allows herself to indulge on occasion. "I try to be very strict about eating just for my skin and my body [but on a recent trip], I was eating whatever I wanted when I was there because it was just like you've got to take advantage of those moments," she told ELLE. "A cheat day for me, the first thing that I crave, I'll eat. That's my rule. So if I wake up and I want pancakes, I'm gonna eat pancakes. If I want a cheeseburger for lunch or for dinner, I'm gonna eat it. If I want fries, I'm gonna eat the fries."

"Over the past 2 and 1/2 months I completely cut meat (other than fish) out of my daily eating and have been sticking to more vegetarian/vegan dishes," Hailey revealed in a recent Instagram Story. "I have never felt better! Feel so clear and energetic. Just sharing for anyone who may be thinking about cutting out meat!"

Hailey's go-to workout? "I used to be a ballet dancer so Pilates for me gets my body personally in the best shape because it's very elongating," she explained on the Women's Health Going For Goal podcast. "A lot of the movements in Pilates are very similar to dance.

Hailey also confessed to ELLE that hydration is a priority. "I think drinking a lot of water helps. I try to drink, like, a couple bottles throughout the day. I don't know how many glasses that would amount to, but it's important."

Kelsey Robinson says bye bye summer

Olympian Kelsey Robinson spent a fun-filled weekend at the Shambhala Music Festival in British Columbia, Canada. The volleyball star, 31, shared highlights from the trip, including snaps of herself posing in a bikini with her husband and friends. Other pictures showed her wearing a creative festival costume and hanging out in a beautiful forest. "Bye bye summer ❤️‍? Favorite weekend, favorite forest ???," she captioned the post. "Omg. Amazing ?," a friend commented.

Robinson treats her body with care and discipline. "As a professional athlete, my body is my job," she says. "My days consist of four to eight hours of a combination of practice and weight lifting. And game days come with a lot of pressure and stress on performance. At the pro and Olympic level, the details make the difference in success. This is why my morning routine is all about helping my body physically and mentally feel the best it can to maximize performance. In the morning, it's essential for me to tune into my body to give it what it needs. This starts with sleep. While it might seem unattainable to most, I usually get nine to 11 hours of sleep every night. This allows my body to recover and gives me mental clarity throughout the day."

Robinson is a big proponent of the health benefits cold showers offer. "I take a cold shower and do my morning face routine," she says. "The cold water not only wakes my body up, but it has so many healing properties including reducing stress and inflammation and forces me to focus on my breathing. As an athlete, breathing is my lifeline. It helps me to focus on the present in high-pressure moments. On weekends or if I don't have a morning practice, I'll go down to the beach and hop in the cold water to surf.

Robinson loves eating protein-packed egg bowls for breakfast. "When I'm in California I use fresh avocado or maybe some leftover salsa from tacos we've had the previous night," she says. "If I'm living and playing in Istanbul, I'll use tomatoes, cucumbers and a lot of herbs. It's fun to keep this recipe dependent on the local ingredients you have. What I love most is that this provides me with sustainable energy throughout the day. It has the big four that I try to incorporate into every meal: protein, fat, fiber and greens! While I typically like to make a big portion for mornings off, you can totally make it before a morning practice or weights session and it'll power you through."

Robinson tries to be as active as possible. "On my way to practice, I usually listen to some podcasts or music to get me in the mood for training," she says. "Even when I don't have workouts in the morning, I always try to do some type of movement. Whether it's a yoga flow, walk, or foam roll. The more I can wake my body up, the better. My morning routine is all about alignment and finding balance in my high-stress, high-pressure job. But you don't have to be an Olympian to want to get the most out of your body and mind! Everyone can benefit from these small changes."

Robinson takes time for meditation every day. "Anyone who knows me knows I can't sit still," she says. "I sprained my ankle this year and while the trainer was trying to tell me what to do, I was too busy watching my team play because ball is life, duh. I can't write without background noise and I can't sleep because — Netflix. However, with the help of a nifty app Calm, I've become more focused in all areas of my life. Taking time to slow down and just breath deeply has done wonders to ease my anxiety and to be present. Another great app is Headspace. Find what works for you and create a daily reminder on your phone to carve out some time to center yourself."

Camila Sodi is heating up the Amalfi Coast

Camila Sodi is heating up the Amalfi Coast in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the Mexican singer and actress flaunts her amazing body in a bathing suit while vacationing in Europe. "Waiting for my boyfriend," she captioned the sultry snap. "You know who you are beautiful! , and you're right," commented one of her followers. "Camila looking good as ever. a hug," added another.

Camila does pilates, regularly sharing Instagram Stories while on a pilates reformer. In this YouTube video you can get a glimpse at some of her workouts. She also has a pilates buddy: Geraldine Bazan. According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it "strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Camila is a yogi. "My oldest sister @fergonzalezv is my Bikram Yoga teacher and each class is a change of skin like a snake ? I feel new ?? thank you sister for working on my mind and body. This posture opens the heart ❤️ open hearts = open roads," she captioned this Instagram post. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health.

Camila is an equestrian. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

Camila enjoys burning calories outdoors doing activities she loves. One of her go-tos? Paddleboarding. She also loves tennis and skiing. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

Camila chooses to have a positive outlook on life. "Life is an attitude, and it depends on you," she told PopSugar. "You choose the attitude you're going to have toward things in life, and that determines the kind of experience you're going to have."

Olympian Aly Raisman looks great in swimwear

Six-time Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman had a great weekend hanging out with her fellow gymnast Simone Biles. "Congrats @simonebiles & @jowens such a fun weekend. It was soooooo great to be back together again ???❤️❤️❤️," she captioned the post.

Raisman took advantage of pandemic lockdowns to experiment with a new workout routine, focusing on floor exercises, yoga, and Pilates. "I actually feel like I've been able to work out a little bit more than I was before the pandemic," she says. "It doesn't mean I'm working out for hours every day, but sometimes I'll do a little bit of a workout in the morning, and then even do a little bit more in the afternoon. I break it up throughout the day because that's what's working for me right now. What I love about Pilates is that you can kind of maneuver your legs a little bit to the right or left, or do one leg at a time, and it creates such a different burn."

Raisman enjoys a protein-packed diet, but thinks people should focus on eating what makes them feel good. "I think it's so awesome that there's so much information out there and so many people are sharing their experiences of what helps them," she says. "But I also think it's really important to remember that you gotta figure out what works for you. Just because you're watching somebody's diet on Instagram or YouTube doesn't mean it's going to fit perfectly for you."

Raisman no longer eats meat. "When I was training, I thought that you had to eat meat in order to be strong," she says. "Now I've been reading up on all the amazing things that plants can do for your body and your mind… I started watching all these documentaries and it really freaked me out seeing how some of the animals are treated so poorly. I've always loved animals, my sister has done horseback riding her whole life, we have two dogs."

Raisman tries to relax on her rest days. "With more than 30 hours a week of training, my body gets tired by the time Sunday rolls around, and while I try to sleep in, it's hard because I'm so used to waking up at 7 a.m.," she says. "I felt like it was a coffee-in-my-PJs kind of day, so I tried to listen to my body. I think resting, relaxation, and clearing your mind is one of the healthiest things you can do. I had an egg-white omelet made with spinach, a little cheese, tomato, and some leftover salmon from the night before for extra protein."

Raisman eats a healthy diet even on her non-training days. "For lunch, I ate brown rice with steak and some fruit," she says. "I helped my mom make homemade calzones for dinner. They tasted delicious. It's great to spend time eating with the whole family. I unwound with another hot bath and all of my products: Revision Skincare hydrating serum, retinol, DEJ face and eye creams, and a firming night treatment to relax and get ready for bed. Then I foam-rolled my muscles and got in bed."

Mery del Cerro flaunts her amazing figure

Mery del Cerro is showing off her new eyewear line – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Argentine model and actress shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while unveiling her sunglasses collection. "Hermosa," commented one of her followers. "Goddess," added another.

Mery told Gente magazine that her body bounced back after giving birth due to genetics – she didn't even have to diet or work out to lose extra weight. "Genetically I settled in very quickly," she said.

Mery did confessed that she relied on treatments, which "helped her belly return to its proper place." Her doctor told the publication: "We combine different devices: the Triacton, which makes a personalized diagnosis and serves to reduce cellulite, tone and drain; the E-Shape, used in the immediate postpartum to reduce, only requiring a couple of sessions on the abdomen; the Lifskin, that improves cellulite and Ultratone to tone," he told Gente.

Mery loves to surf. According to the Australian government's Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. "Once you're standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up," they say.

Mery is also a skier in the winter.

Mery prioritizes hydration, making sure to drink a lot of water. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

"You look beautiful, beautiful, super beautiful, pretty princess," added another.

Livia makes sure to work out daily. "My exercise routine takes time, generally 40 to 45 minutes," she told Women Fitness. "First work 10 min on the abdomen. Then 7 repetitions of squats, each series of 12. After 12 min of burpees, 3 burpees per min."

Livia's diet is clean and healthy. She starts her day with a breakfast of eggs. For lunch and dinner? "I like to eat salmon with vegetables," she said.

Livia also enjoys boxing. "My day always starts with good energy my babies of light. How's your weekend going?" she captioned a post of herself with gloves on. Fitness boxing has many health benefits, "because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's hospital tells Harvard Health."You're swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you're in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you're strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs."

Livia understands the importance of self-care. "Relaxing Sunday babies… sometimes disconnecting does us really good; The mind calms down and the heart opens up even more. Enjoy your Sunday," she captioned a post.
