Serena Williams is throwing it back in her swimsuit. In one of her most recent social media posts, the tennis champ shares a glimpse of her body in a bathing suit long before having kids. The Instagram Story was part of challenge, sharing a photo of yourself from a "verryyy different time."
"My philosophy is eat to live. Don't live to eat," Serena told Women's Health. "You need it to survive. And [that's] very hard to live by, cause I definitely love to snack, but this is what I want. These are my goals."
Serena exercises on an empty stomach. "I often don't make breakfast because I just forget or I'm running around getting Olympia ready. And then I go work out," she told Women's Health. "When I roll out of bed, I'm just not hungry."
Serena tries to fill her diet with plants. "I want to have a healthy lifestyle and, so you know, [I'm eating] a lot of greens and mostly plant-based lately, just super healthy stuff," she told Women's Health. "I had a bean burger the other day today…[Today] I had a gluten-free bean burrito."
Serena uses complex carbs as fuel. "The only time I eat pasta is when I'm playing/training. Usually, you'll never see me eating pasta otherwise," she told Women's Health. "I usually like to have lots of greens before my match and then fruit actually, and a little carbs and some sort of a protein."
Serena's cheat meal of choice? "I love Moon Pies. If 'Moon Pie' sponsored me, I'd be bigger than any house on this planet!" she joked to Women's Health.
"I can have a smoothie for six months. And then I'll be like, I never want to see a smoothie again for the next six months. And then I'll be like, okay, I'm back on the smoothie. My eating is very moody," she told Women's Health.

more...Rita Ora is already missing summer. In a new social media post, the singer gives her fans a glimpse of some of her top looks from the sunny season. In one of the photos she wears a bathing suit with a chain coverup. "Pick your favourite Rita…? Random moments and I miss summer…." she captioned the Instagram snap.
Rita maintains that she keeps her fridge stocked up like her own mini health food shop. It includes CBD drops, bone broth packets, mushroom health snacks, she told Glamour UK.
Rita revealed that she does reformer Pilates twice a week. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it "strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Rita also lifts weights with her trainer once a week, she told Glamour UK. She added to Shape that devotes a lot of time to her workouts. "I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have. I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do one circuit of cardio."
Rita believes in god. "And I naturally gravitated towards having a God and there being a Jesus and me following that route. That was just me. But I, again, praise my God in my own way. And so that's the way I'm giving out my energy with my family. Whatever gets you through the day. And for me it's nice to have that higher power that I can talk to. I'm definitely a believer in giving, sometimes, the things I can't control to the higher power, because it really relieves my stress," she said about her version of God.
"Sitting at home with my partner, being boring at 9PM and watching TV shows," is one of her self-care routines.
She also reads. "I've just finished Klara And The Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro. I'm about to start Tomorrow And Tomorrow And Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin." One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

"All in favor of going back to summer say I," she captioned the set of Instagram snaps. "I…..m speechless," her boyfriend, baseball player Garrett Edwards commented.
Elena loves walking. "Heaven on earth," she captioned this photo from one of her walks. The Mayo Clinic endorses regular brisk walking, explaining that it can help you maintain a healthy weight and lose body fat, prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, cancer, and type 2 diabetes. It can also help improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen your bones and muscles, improve muscle endurance, increase energy levels, improve your mood, cognition, memory and sleep, improve your balance and coordination, strengthen immune system, and reduce stress and tension.
Elena also swims. "Gone swimmin," she captioned a recent post from Lake Oconee. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
As an athlete, Elena understands the importance of hydration. "Sippin coconuts in hawaii w my sista life is GOOD !!!!" she captioned a post. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
Elena hikes a lot, sharing photos from her treks on social media. Last year she went on a "weekend getaway" to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
Building stronger muscles and bones
Improving your sense of balance
Improving your heart health
Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
Obviously, the main way Elena stays in shape is by rigorous gymnastic workouts, one of the most physically demanding sports. She spends several hours every day in the gym perfecting her skills.

Nadia spends a lot of time in the gym. She starts her workouts by warming up with cardio exercises (like jumping rope) then she does 4 sets of squats and lunges with weights on her ankles and arms. Then she does a lot a squat jumps and lifts weights, according to Italian Post.
Nadia loves to play tennis. "I have played tennis since the age of 6, handball tennis," she told Hola. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.
Nadia also revealed to Hola that "cycling" is part of her routine. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
How does Nadia maintain normalcy with social media? "You have to understand that social networks are not real life. You often show what you want people to know about you. But the people who manage the networks have to understand that there is a person with feelings behind the camera, whom you can affect or make their day better," she told Hello.
How does she deal with negative comments and her mental health? "I try not to see them, but I am aware that there are negative and positive comments, and the important thing is to always focus on the positive and see the bright side of every situation," she told the publication.

Bell, 55, shared a beautiful picture of herself posing in the ocean in a swimsuit, silhouetted against a gorgeous sunset. "Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures. It makes me long for the sea. The picture with you on it is absolutely mesmerizing and wonderful," a fan commented.
Bell loves the mental and physical benefits of being outside. "I love going for walks in nature," she says. "Just going outside, looking at nature's beauty helps me. Some days, I don't feel like exercising, but I won't make myself feel bad for it," Bell laughs. "But when I do work out, I love to just put on a video at home — there are so many things you can do. I have resistance bands and a slider I put on the floor and slide from side to side. It's just light exercise to keep me moving and feeling great."
Bell's attitude towards working out has changed for the better. "I've gotten really serious about fitness the last half of 2022," she says. "I realize it was time to make exercise a regular part of my life and not just do it in spurts before a movie or photo shoot! I think this is the first time I've really just done it for me. To feel good, be healthy, build muscle. Not only for the aesthetic, although that's a nice bonus for sure but because it supports my joints and bones, and sets me up for a better next few decades! Excited to share some of what my trainer and I have been working on with some workout videos coming!"
Bell embraces down time and sees it as self care. "Sometimes, I have to remind myself that it's okay to stay in my sweats watching TV in my downtime," she says. "Tomorrow, I'll find my moment to get dressed and put on a little blush, but it's all about finding your balance and being okay with you, regardless of whether you've washed your hair or put on makeup. You're perfect the way you are!"
Bell enjoys a healthy diet but allows for treats (in moderation). "I do try to eat well," she says. "But I'm the first one to admit that I love a good burger. I will eat that great burger and fries and love every minute of it. But that's it. I had my treat. Then I go back to those salads with grilled chicken. You don't want to take one cheat meal and turn it into a pattern. Also on that cheat meal, eat only half of the fries. You won't miss the other half."
Bell does small workouts when she needs to get back into a routine again. "I go through phases – sometimes weeks at a time – where I haven't worked out," she says. "You can't ignore it. I know when I'm getting mushy. When that feeling strikes and you know you've put it off for too long, vow to start again today. Not tomorrow, but today. Hop on a treadmill for 15 minutes. Do something. You want to get back in the game. Once you start, you'll find yourself doing more than you planned to do."

In a new social media post, the professional golfer shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while teasing the release of her 2024 calendar. "Smiling because I love you guys so much! Thank you for all the amazing comments about my 2024 calendar," she captioned another post.
Paige claims that "exercise and eating healthy" help her mental health. "My mood is significantly better when I workout daily and make sure I meal prep for the week," she said on Instagram.
Paige is one of the many celebrities who swear by intermittent fasting. "I start eating at 11am and I end eating at 7pm," she said during a What I Eat YouTube video. "I did it for three and a half weeks and I saw really good changes. I sleep better and my body feels better. It's fun to mix it up."
Paige claims CBD oil is "a miracle." She added: "It's helped my relationship, my sleeping and my mood. It's helped my quality of life. She added that she "lives and dies" by CBD oil. "I feel like myself without the anxiety. When I was on medication, I didn't feel like myself. I hated that. With this I feel a little bit more calm. Now I take my 'liquid gold', my liquid CBD, and I feel so much better."
Paige meals preps, using canned veggies, pre-cooked rice, and frozen burritos. "I like things that are very easy," she said in her What I Eat video. "I think people are intimidated by healthy food because, one, it's expensive which is frustrating, but also it's time consuming to have fresh produce all the time and to make these health elaborate meals. I like to find hacks so I can make something that is healthy and also doesn't take a couple of hours."
Paige allows herself to cheat. Her go-to meal? "Definitely a hot dog. There is nothing better than a golf course hot dog. I can only eat my hot dogs with ketchup," she revealed on her Playing A Round podcast. Paige, who has a massive seeet tooth, also loves ice cream. In one tweet she revealed that she had eaten ice cream for breakfast that day.
"I don't drink alcohol pretty much at all," Paige said, revealing that she stopped drinking her senior year of college. "I hate being hungover. I don't like the feeling of it. I'm never really interested in drinking anymore," she admitted. "I think it's bettered my life. If you are ever struggling with your weight or mental health just try and cut alcohol out. It really helped me."

Ruah shared a reel of the day, including lots of shots of herself and her co-stars hitting the waves in wetsuits. "Sunday was amazing! Not only did I achieve a huge goal (look mom I did it!) but I did it alongside wonderful friends AND the @malibutri raised over $1.2 MILLION dollars for @childrensla … Congrats to everyone who participated! & Thank you so very very much to all who donated! The whole journey has been unforgettable.
Ruah is happiest being outside in nature with her dog. "Hanging in nature with my nature bathing suit made from recycled plastic bottles and my nature hat that planted 10 trees when I purchased it, and my nature husband and nature dog… nature nature nature," she captioned an Instagram post.
Ruah has plenty of fight training, says co-star Eric Christian Olsen. "[Ruah] does so much of her fight stuff. When you see a knife fight with Dani that's like four minutes long, that's all Dani. She spends the time to learn all that stuff. In all honesty, what that means is that on top of having two kids and doing the show, she goes someplace and rehearses that fight scene for hours."
Ruah loves the physicality of her role. "The most fun thing is the action sequences, as well as destroying cars," she says. "I have to say that's quite fun, but that's more of a superficial thing. I absolutely love our banter scenes. When the whole cast is sitting in a room and we're all picking on one of the characters, I absolutely love doing those scenes. When everyone is there, the day is a little bit longer, of course, because the more actors you have, the more coverage you have to do, but they're such fun days."
Ruah loves to dance, and has been doing so since she was young. "Do I dance at home? Sure," she says. "Sometimes my son and I will prance around the house and dance. He responds to music so wonderfully, but I wouldn't say it is something that brought me back into shape. I didn't do any (dance) classes. I wish I had. It was mostly gym work with a personal trainer, jogging, working out with the kids, and eating healthily."
Ruah genuinely enjoys her job and the long hours it sometimes requires. "I have to admit that I'm a little bit of a workaholic, but not that I want to be in an office space for 24 hours a day," she says. "I've had such good experiences with every job that I've had so far in my career that it's like going to meet a group of friends. It's so easy when I go to work. It's long hours, don't get me wrong. We all get tired of being at work sometimes, and you want to go home to your family, but generally speaking, we have such a good time and it's such a positive environment that I want to keep doing it."

more...Lindsey Vonn is expressing gratitude in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the celebrated athlete shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while on Lake Como, sharing an inspiring message with her followers. "Moments of reflection… Hard work always pays off but I also have to pinch myself sometimes. Thankful to have the opportunities I have, no matter how much sacrifice it took to get me here, and I do not take one second for granted," she captioned the post.
Lindsey starts her day by taking her dogs out. "There are not many mornings where [my dog] Lucy doesn't abruptly wake me up before my alarm to remind me that she has to go to the bathroom. My other two dogs could probably sleep until mid-morning without having to go, but Lucy's a bit of a high-maintenance diva. That's definitely the first thing I do when I wake up," she told The Zoe Report.
Lindsey's "ideal day off is just being at home, on the couch, putting my phone away, snuggling with my dogs, and watching my favorite show," she added. "I just don't get that many opportunities to just unplug and not see humans. As much as I love people, I also love to not be around them. Just being around my dogs and not talking. That, to me, is the most resting and relaxing thing I can do."
One of Lindsey's self-care activities? "I love free diving — it's very meditative as well. It's one of those things where you have to be so focused. Kind of like skiing, where you're focused on one thing, but it's physically very demanding as well. There's a lot of precision that's involved. I don't know. I love it. Being in the water is very quiet," she explained.
What is her secret weapon for looking and feeling good? "I mean, honestly, the most important thing for me has been sleep. I have the worst bags under my eyes and I'm not good with beauty routines in the way that most of my friends are. The more I sleep, the better I look. I don't have as many wrinkles under my eyes when I sleep better," she says.
According to Lindsey, the right bedtime scent is vital. "I have this particular candle that I really like—the Voluspa Gardenia Colonia Classic Candle—and it also comes in a mist. I usually travel with that and it reminds me of home. Wherever I am, I like my bedroom to smell the same way. It's a comforting thing," she told Self.
Some people read, others watch tv. But Lindsey has a unique wind-down activity. "Right before I fall asleep, I practice my Spanish," she told Self. "I live mainly in Florida now, and I think it's important to learn Spanish living there. I use Duolingo for a little bit, just to get it in every day, and then I read a Spanish grammar book. This puts me to sleep quickly, usually around 10:30 or 11 p.m."

In a new social media post the Irish singer, who turned 42 this week, flaunts her insanely fit figure in a tiny bathing suit while taking a walk on the beach. "October is the new Summer," she captioned the Instagram post. "Gorgeous," commented one of her followers. "Happy birthday and as stunning as ever," added another.
Una is all about pumping iron, which helps her build muscle. She does "lots of weights" she revealed during an interview with RTE, "and I try to keep the cardio going alongside strength and conditioning," she added. "I walk away in my mind feeling healthier and better. It's so good for the endorphins."
Una suggests moving daily. "I try to do something every day. I've really gotten into fitness in the last year. I hate starting the day without exercise now, but I will give myself a Sunday off sometimes," she told RTE. "I do a lot of road running, usually around 5K."
Una enjoys getting her sweat on with others. "I do gym classes too, like Body Pump, Body Combat and Spin. There's virtual Spin at my gym which is really fun!" she told RTE.
Una has mastered the art of self-motivation. "You have to keep going really. You can easily get lazy but I find the more you do it, the more you want to do it," she told RTE about the importance of motivation. "I know how happy it makes me feel when I work out so I'd rather have that feeling all day."
Una eats healthy most of the time, but will indulge in the occasional cheat meal. I never used to have so much of a sweet tooth, I was always one to say that I don't like chocolate, but now that I've been exercising so much I'll give myself a little treat like a biscuit or a chocolate bar every other day," she dished to RTE.
Una tries to maintain a plant focused diet, with a little added animal protein. "I'm a bit of a 'meat and two veg' kind of person, so I'm not on any kind of vegan or vegetarian diet. I still eat meat – but not too much of it," she told RTE. "I'll have days where I eat vegan or veggie."
Una loves to swim. "Earlier this year, I took up cold water swimming. I swim either at the coast or in lakes and have got the bug for it! The first time I did it, I thought, 'what am I doing? This is horrible. It's so cold.' Whereas now it just feels invigorating. When you're immersed in cold water, your body goes into fight or flight mode and is flooded with cortisol, followed by endorphins," she told Top Sante.

Witt, 48, shared a picture of herself paddleboarding in a floral swimsuit on beautiful Percy Priest Lake. "A few-weeks-latergram … savoring the last few days of summer nonetheless.
Highly recommend paddleboarding with a beloved best friend to center, to recalibrate, to reconnect to your breath and your being ✨ @elizaann360," she captioned the post.
Witt is passionate about following a plant-based diet, and wrote her book Small Changes to help those working towards a healthier lifestyle. "My greatest prayer for this would be that it could reach — specifically — the people out there who definitely do not want to be vegan, who have no intention of giving up the meat and dairy and other things that they enjoy," she says. "But I believe through my own experiences that these things do not have to be all or nothing. And I would wish to help shift the notion that it does or that plant-based people lecture and judge and try to change everyone around them to eat exactly as they do."
Witt's book also focuses on how exercise benefits mental health as well as physical. "I also want to impart the importance of daily exercise, even if it's only a tiny bit each day," she says. "That, too, doesn't need to be all or nothing. Meditation and mindfulness too. You don't need 20 minutes twice a day to make a very big difference. This is meant to be a guide, not a manifesto: Readers can take what resonates for them and create their own plan off of it. And I also include lots of my own unusual story in here so that hopefully it can help inspire and entertain too."
Witt says she was asked to lose weight since she was a teenager, and now refuses to keep scales in her house. "I only hear how much I weigh when I go for my annual physical goal," she says. "And I put that out of my head right away because I just don't care. I know when I feel healthy. And I know if I overdo it one day, I'm not going to beat myself up about it."
Witt's relationship with food changed once she stopped trying to follow restrictive diets. "As someone who hasn't always had a healthy or balanced relationship with food, I found that rules didn't work for me," she says. "They only made me want to break them. Once I stopped beating myself up or imposing restrictions, I found that my weight, my cravings, and my appearance (as well as my inner peace) all improved drastically. And I think this philosophy I've experienced can help others to find the same sort of ease around food and body image too."

In them, she wore a black swimsuit top and pants, her abs on display. Weaving captioned the post, "These are a few of my favorite things."
Weaving has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She shared her favorite products and tips with Byrdie. "I like a scrub," Weaving says. "So I'll use a Nivea ($7) one or something a bit more natural. I like to think it helps clean out my pores, especially if I've got makeup on or I've been traveling and sleeping in different hotel rooms and flying."
Weaving tells Byrdie that keeping her skin hydrated is important to her. "I've got really dry skin, and La Prairie's Skin Caviar Cream ($530) really helps with keeping up hydration levels all day. I don't ever have to reapply it. I've got like a little ModelCo rosehip face mist that tones and makes my skin all firm and dewy."
Weaving tells Marie Claire that her scoliosis diagnosis made her change her workout routine. "I used to run a lot, I would run five to 10 miles a day, and I miss that a lot. It was sort of just trying to figure out how I could get the same endorphins. Running you can really take your mind off everything. It was almost like meditation. I wanted to find something similar that wouldn't put so much pressure on my back. I found a really great yoga place, I mean it's LA, so every second shop has some yoga thing. So I'm lucky in that sense."
Weaving tells Marie Claire that she doesn't like to schedule what she eats ahead of time. "As cliché as it sounds, you've got to listen to your body. If I go for three days of just having fruit and vegetables, I'll make a salad and a rice bowl for dinner and have lighter meals. The next three days I'll have pasta and more carbs and eggs benedict for breakfast. I listen to my body and what am I really craving? As soon as you go, 'I'm going to diet for two weeks,' what you're craving is what you set out not to have."
Weaving makes sure to take care of her skin and hair when she travels. She shared her tips with Byrdie. "I tend to take a travel-size raw coconut oil with me on the plane and dab it under my eyes and on my lips and forehead every three hours or so. Normally I stay away from oils because they make me break out, but because it's so dry on a plane it just seems to work. I put it on the ends of my hair as well to prevent breakage."

Gabriella's favorite workout is reformer pilates. "It's the best thing I've found for my body," she told Women's Health Australia. "I find that it's kind of meditative when I do it, it's not just, 'Oh I've got to go work out now,' it's something I actually really enjoy. Ideally, I like to do reformer two to three times a week.
That makes me feel great. And on the days I'm not doing it, I don't feel like I need to exercise but if I do, it's just something like a gentle walk. At one stage I was overdoing it and trying to go every day, just because I loved it so much, but I think my body actually resisted that and it just felt like a bit too much, so I pulled it back, which is better for my body."
Gabriella relies on supplements to get the nutrients she doesn't get from food. "I take fish oil tablets, Floradix for iron, and magnesium," she revealed to Body + Soul.
Gabriella prioritizes self-care and loves to get a good rub down "I'll usually get a massage at least once a month to release tension. I find it helps a lot with lymphatic drainage too," she told Body + Soul.
Gabriella relies on heat therapy after an intense workout. "I like to sauna after workouts, I haven't tried ice baths yet - but all my friends swear by them so I think that's next on the list to try," she told Body + Soul.
"I listen to my body. My work schedule is all over the place so I fit in workouts where I can, and when I'm exhausted, I just let my body rest," she told Body + Soul about the importance of self-care. "Mental health is so important to me," she added to Vogue. "When I'm stressed or tired, I turn off my phone and have a magnesium salt bath to relax, light some candles and read in bed. The more I stay on top of my physical health—eating well, exercising, drinking enough water—the easier I find it to stay in a good place mentally."

"Italian Getaway," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "Hi roller girl," commented a follower, giving a nod to her hit 1997 film. "Gorgeous," added another.
Heather avoids refined carbohydrates and keeps other carbs to a minimum "I've become one of those annoying people who's like, 'I'm not gonna eat white flour and I'm not gonna eat sugar.' I do eat sugar sometimes, but as a broad rule, I try to just eat no sugar basically, and I have to say I feel a lot better. And I will sometimes eat things with white flour, but I try to avoid white flour," she dished to Refinery29.
Yoga and pilates are Heather's go-to workouts. She told Refinery29 that she does yoga three times a week, and sometimes for multiple hours per day. "I'm obsessed with yoga. For fun, I would go on a yoga retreat and do four hours of yoga a day," she explained. "Grateful to be in a beach doing yoga with @ninabergman," she captioned a recent Instagram post. She added to the publication that she is a fan of pilates.
Another way Heather gets exercise is by cycling. "Rocky Mountain High," she captioned a photo of herself taking a fall bike ride in Aspen. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
Heather has one (not-so) guilty pleasure. "I love sleeping," she told The Guardian. "When I tell people how much I sleep sometimes, they are horrified. I basically sleep between nine and 12 hours a night." What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z's is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.
Graham revealed to The Independent that she lives a sober lifestyle. "Recently, I've stopped drinking," she said. "I'm kind of goofy enough to have fun without drinking. So by the time everyone gets relaxed, I'm like, 'OK, I was already there two hours ago.'"
Heather is "kinda high-strung, so it's easy to get anxious," she Today, which is why she loves transcendental meditation. "TM calms you down. It helps you find that peaceful place inside yourself – so whenever your life is going a bit crazy, it reminds you how to be really centered." "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:
"Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
Building skills to manage your stress
Increasing self-awareness
Focusing on the present
Reducing negative emotions
Increasing imagination and creativity
Increasing patience and tolerance
Lowering resting heart rate
Lowering resting blood pressure
Improving sleep quality"

Lachey, 42, shared a reel of herself wearing a "Hawaii" hat and swimsuit, asking fans and followers for help. "Mahalo GMA for dedicating your show yesterday to Maui relief. There is a word we use in Hawai'i 'Kokua', it is a word used to describe the spirit of kindness, the concept of giving generously from the heart without asking for anything in return.
Rebuilding this community is going to take time and resources, if you have anything to give, please consider a donation directly to the local families. I've included a link in my bio to a running list and will continue sharing individual links on my stories over the next few weeks. Sending You Love and Aloha!" she captioned the post.
Lachey tries to get some movement in every day, even outside of her workouts. "I believe ANY exercise or movement is good," she says. "Make it something you love and then you WILL do it! I work out three days a week with a trainer. I do this because I hate working out and need the motivation. He makes it fun for me. I know trainers can get expensive and not everyone wants to pay for one. I decided to cut back on other things in life financially so I can hire someone to train me. Health is extremely important to me even more so now that I have two kids I want to be around for."
Lachey has a less-is-more approach to skincare. "I believe in consistency," she says. "Once I started with the same daily routine, I noticed a dramatic difference in my skin. I wash every day morning and night. I keep facial wash in my shower for easier access and so I never forget. I exfoliate every other day. And I use a light moisturizer during the day and a heavier one at night. I get facials from my friend Candice Miele in Beverly Hills as regularly as I can, but I have never done any serious treatments. Clean skin you take care of will last a while."
Lachey spends a lot of time outside and makes sure to protect her skin. "For my face every day I use a product we use on set called EltaMD, and I even put it on my kids," she says. "I find that that offers a lot of sun protection, but it's also moisturizing and doesn't break out my skin. So, that's one that I love from for me and for my kids and for Nick. You know it gets to him to as well because we wear it every day. Everyone, everywhere should put a little sun block on every day during your morning routine. I know you don't think that, especially people who don't live in tropical places, but you know there are UV rays everywhere."
Self-care is very important for Lachey. "Lymphatic massages are something I want to incorporate more into my life for self-care," she says. "I got my very first lymphatic massage this year when I came to LA. I haven't done one in Hawaii yet, but it was my very first one. For me, it's like I need to be better and stop thinking that self-care is selfish. Getting a massage is nice, but this one is, I don't want to say medicinal, but it's draining your lymph nodes. It helps eliminate buildup in your body and it starts from down at your feet, and the massage therapist works her way up and then starts at your head to work your way down towards the central flow of your body. It helps with swelling and circulation. There are so many benefits."
Lachey walks as much as she can to stay active. "I'm not as steady with it as I would like to be, but what I try to do is anytime I can find a way to be active, as opposed to not, I do," she says. "You can walk here somewhere as opposed to drive. Even on set, they're like you can walk to the location or you can drive if it's not hot and I'll choose to walk. Just having three kids also keeps me active, but I should be more active— I'm starting to notice the changes of being in my 40s."

After a disappointing meet in Eugene, Oregon, Molly explained that she used the experience to learn from her mistakes. After Eugene, me and my coach we sat down and went through everything what went wrong what we could change," she told BBC. "I think just changing my mindset and really focussing on things and then coming here and performing in front of this crowd."
While vacationing, Molly achieves her fitness goals by snorkeling. "Sun and snorkel diaries," she captioned a post. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.
Molly also enjoys hiking. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
Building stronger muscles and bones
Improving your sense of balance
Improving your heart health
Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Molly spends a lot of time running, as speed is crucial for pole vaulting. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

In a new social media post, the radio host shows off her gorgeous body in a bathing suit while making a post-wedding splash. "ahhhh, right then, hello again instagram," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "Gorgeous," commented one. "Big congratulations to you both ?Hope it was the wedding of your dreams from start to finish and that you both have the most perfect honeymoon," added another.
Vick is big on self-care, maintaining that it helps with her mental health. "I've learned that there are so many small things we can do that make a huge difference to our mental wellbeing," she told Women's Health.
"The sunshine is such a mood booster for me, so I really notice when the weather turns," she told WH. "For this reason, I have a Lumie lamp, instead of an alarm clock, that gradually lights up – it helps me feel more energetic and happier when I wake up." She also spends time outdoors, "Because, working in dark studios without windows, I can easily not see daylight for hours."
Vick understands the importance of fitness. "I love going for a run in nature or doing classes – whether that's Pilates it dance. Anything where I'm in a group situation – because being around others uplifts me and brings out my competitive side," she told WH. "It's so easy at this time of year, when it gets colder and darker, to hibernate and skip the gym – but the feel-good endorphins exercise brings have such a positive impact on mental health. I don't train to get in shape or lose weight, but for my mind."
Vick drinks a lot of water. "I can really tell the difference in my energy levels if I haven't drunk enough water that day, so carrying a refillable water bottle with me at all times is essential," she told Your Healthy Living. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
Vick eats her first meal at 8am. "I usually have an egg white omelette with spinach, fresh tomatoes, sometimes some avocado and some fruit. Lunch is always a fairly elastic concept: some days it's a sandwich or salad on the go, others it's a full spread of finger food if I'm on a shoot. If I'm at home I'll often prepare myself a bowl of soup. If I'm feeling super organised that week, I'll make a pan of veggie, lentil or chicken soup to last the week. In the evenings, a typical dinner often consists of fish or prawns with green vegetables or salad, and noodles or cous cous. Stir fries are a pretty common dinner for me as they're quick and easy to make delicious – not a lot can go wrong!" she told Your Healthy Living.

"Coming up to Caribbean season," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "You make the Caribbean Paradise," one of her followers commented. "You are a complete babe," added another.
In an Instagram video Daisy reveals that she reads books. Why should you pick up a book? One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
"Is coffee and suncream part of your morning routine??" Daisy asked her followers. While everyone knows why it is important to lather up in SPF, there are also several benefits of drinking coffee, explains the Cleveland Clinic. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
Daisy is a fan of walking, especially when she is on vacationing and exploring new places. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
Daisy also hikes. "Our hike up mount errigal. Took 3 hours in total moderate level- really good path. Can't believe how lucky we got with the weather was pretty much first day of spring. Just the most incredible views of Donegal. Some of lord of the rings was filmed here #donegal #mterrigal #hike #spring #girlsweekend #travel #spring," she captioned a post. Daisy is "obsessed" with Orange Theory, she revealed in a post. "It's perfect for me going from USA and London and the app makes it so easy for me to work out while I'm traveling. I love the environment and the welcoming space." Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
