Alison Brie had an amazing time learning to surf

Mad Men star Alison Brie had an amazing time learning to surf earlier this year in beautiful Australia. Brie, who played Trudy Campbell on the hit show, shared pictures of herself in a wetsuit and green bikini, looking happy as she posed next to a surfboard, surrounded by friends. "Tried a new thing! ?," she captioned the upbeat post.

Brie is embracing entering into a new decade. "So I just turned 40, and I've been feeling really good and not freaking out about [it]," she says. "For me, I feel just as youthful as…I mean, I feel much better than I felt in my 20s, honestly, because I was eating [badly] and really not taking care of my skin. I really used my 30s to hone all of that stuff, and now honestly I've never felt better… Brows are the number one most important thing to me. I never leave the house without makeup in my brows. Going to the gym in the morning, it's like nothing on my face but brows."

Brie loves the mental and physical aspects of regular yoga sessions. "I try to get in some kind of physical activity everyday, or at least six days a week, but I vary the activity based on how I'm feeling," she says. "I'm always trying to learn to listen to my body more and know when it's time to rest or to stretch it out in yoga. I used to practice yoga very regularly and after a bit of a break I've been getting back to it. It's so important to give my body a chance to stretch out while at the same time giving my mind a quiet space to unwind."

Brie never skips sunscreen as part of her skincare routine. "In the mornings I splash cold water on my face and give it a couple spritzes of Caudalie's beauty elixir. I don't fully wash my face until after I've worked out," she says. "Then I use Image Skincare The Max cleanser and follow up with Visual Changes Ultra Protection SPF 30 lotion. I never go a day without sunscreen. At night I usually start by wiping off the day's makeup with Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water. Then I cleanse with The Max again, always using a warm washcloth to exfoliate and make sure I get all my makeup off. After that, I use a retinol by Esthetic Underground, then Visual Changes Retexture Crème, and Osmotics Renovage eye cream. Osmotics really makes the best eye cream! The one I use is for fine lines but they have others that target dark circles etc. That's a product I've been using consistently for years."

Brie relaxes with epsom salts and CBD oil. "I've been incorporating Manitoba Harvest CBD oil more and more into my nighttime regiment, so I do like to do a nighttime sleepy time tea as well and epsom salt baths," she says. "When we're working on GLOW and my body is super tired, the CBD oil and the salt baths are my two go-twos to really bring in recovery and restfulness for sure."

Brie loves bubble baths as part of her evening routine. "I do it so medicinally, therapeutically, it's like a ritual where I put the epsom salts in and I just started using some mustard seed extract which is supposed to be good for detoxing," she says. "I'll set a timer for 20 minutes and do a 20-minute soak, it's like a full-out activity."

Indya Moore shared some bikiki photos flaunting her beautiful body

Indya Moore started their career as a model, working for Dior, Gucci, and appearing in Katy Perry's "Swish Swish" video. They began acting in the hit series, Pose, and have appeared in Queen & Slim, Nimona, and in the upcoming Aquaman film. Moore shared a new highlight reel on Instagram this week. In it, they enjoyed a day at the beach and on a boat. Moore captioned the reel, "A peace of thick joy. Somewhere off the coast of the Sahara Desert."

In an interview with W Magazine, Moore talked about wanting to represent the trans community on television. "I definitely want to show other trans people, and also myself, that I can tell stories and that we're capable of telling stories that have nothing to do with exploring what the experiences of trans people are. I think that's what trans people are constantly used for, you know, just telling trans stories. I think Pose is unique in that it's not just a trans story—it's about family, it's about love, it's about friendship and acceptance and really deconstructing humanity, and the ethical side of that, with how we treat people who are different than us."

Moore talked about eating healthy in their W Magazine interview. "When I eat more healthy, I feel more healthy. I'm able to navigate how I feel better and my thoughts, being on that kind of routine. And also, what's really affirming for the way that I see myself and my body, when I look in the mirror, is the way eating right affects how I show up in the mirror. I notice I feel better about the way I look, or what expectations are for me to show up as in society."

Moore revealed that they've stopped eating animals in their W Magazine interview. "I like to eat as well as I can. I made changes to my diet over time, for me, but also to affirm my empathetic responses to eating animals. I've always felt kind of weird about it, so I was like, Let me listen to myself. And also, I know it's not healthy for me, so I cut that out of my diet."

Moore tells W Magazine that they don't believe in beauty standards. "I notice that there seem to be recycled presets of how people are supposed to look. They're recycled through mainstream media, magazines, you know, mainstream stuff and the things we're exposed to the most. I think the biggest myth in beauty is that we have to copy something else to be beautiful, that we have to look like something else to be acknowledged or feel good about ourselves. That we have to be the things that we admire in other people. I feel like that's not necessarily true! We deserve to be the things that we grow to admire about ourselves. Beauty is an ongoing journey, it's not something that you emulate."

Moore revealed on social media that they got a gym membership. "It's been years since I can remember commiting to a regular & holistic self care routine. Finally got my Gym membership, just when I really needed it. Feeling better already. Feels real good. happy to be here. Thank you to my love for inspiring me, thank you to myself for commiting to me. I'm doing it girl I'm doing it."

Tessa Thompson shares swimsuit photos

Avengers: Endgame star Tessa Thompson doesn't rely on the seasons to dictate when she can or can not don a swimsuit. Thompson, 40, shared a picture of herself posing against a wall as she glowed in the bright sunshine. "Sweater weather," she captioned the post.

Thompson put on muscle for her role as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok. "I gained about 15 pounds of muscle mass, which yeah, it was a lot for me," she says. "I like sort of bucking this conventional idea of a woman is beautiful or sexy if she's sort of thin. She's felt, but you can't really see her strength. I like the idea that she can just be ripped, like Valkyrie is in the comics. Yeah, I found that sort of essential, that not really caring about how I looked, but caring more about how I felt. I felt so strong, and in my skin."

Thompson loved how strong the muscle made her feel. "It felt great!" she says. "Yeah, it felt great. Particularly for the five months that I was there, and I was working on the stage where did all the stunt choreography and the likes of folks like Chris Hemsworth. It felt good to be able to be on par with everyone around me."

Thompson learned how to make at-home face masks during the pandemic. "I would take goat yogurt and put turmeric in it," she says. "It stained my fingers, which was fine because I had nowhere to go. I would use that as a mask, which was amazing. I have also newly discovered how incredible apple cider vinegar is. It's amazing for your hair, for your skin — I recently had a bunch of mosquito bites, it helped with that. I also use it as a toner sometimes."

Thompson loves the no-makeup makeup look. "I think makeup should enhance what exists," she says. "I put my foundation on with my fingers, although sometimes I'll use a sponge. I don't like to wear a ton of foundation in my everyday life. I wear so much makeup when I'm working, that it's really nice to give my skin some time to breathe. Typically, I like to use moisturizer and then mix a little foundation into it and make a little cream. That's what I'll use all over my face. Sometimes, I want to cover up areas of hyperpigmentation, so I'll go in with a little foundation. Sometimes I'll cheat and buff it in with a little blending brush, like one that you would use for eyeshadow so it's really, really blended."

Thompson is proud of her reinvention of Valkyrie. "We had lots of conversations about diversity and inclusion," she says. "It shouldn't all be rhetorical. I think it's important the films that we make reflect the times that we live in, to realize that big movies have the power to also shift culture. I think it's really great that young comic book readers that look like me can see themselves in a film. I think it's about time."

Scheana Shay shares photos vacationing in Mexico

Scheana Shay is best known for being a cast member on all ten seasons of Vanderpump Rules. She is also a singer, actress, and podcast host. Shay is currently vacationing in Mexico. She shared highlights on Instagram this week. In one photo uploaded to her stories, Shay enjoyed a drink while wearing a blue swimsuit.

In an interview with Life & Style, Shay shared her daily routine. She says that she is prioritizing her health a lot more these days, and that becoming a mom has given her this outlook. "Pre baby, I wasn't on a strict schedule," Shay says. "Now I'm on Summer's schedule, which has forced me to get into a healthier routine with my eating habits, workouts and overall health."

Shay makes sure to workout on a regular basis. "At least 3 times a week, I make sure to go down to the gym and get a full workout in," she said to Life & Style. Shay also does a variety of workouts. "Including weight training, EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) and cardio."

Shay does a lot of walking to get some cardio exercise. She tells Life & Style that taking her daughter on walks is a big part of her day. "Rather than always walking on a treadmill in the gym, I like to get my cardio in by taking Summer for walks around town." Better Health states, "Walking for 30 minutes a day or more on most days of the week is a great way to improve or maintain your overall health."

Shay notably lost a lot of weight, leaving many wondering what her secret was. She told Life & Style that she did a carb cycling diet, and explained it. "When we first started I was doing three days of no carbs and one day of healthy carbs-and that helped kick my body into shape." Shay says that when she wasn't eating carbs, she liked to eat, "Salmon with lots of grilled vegetables."

Shay tells Life & Style that she and her husband, Brock, like to cook healthy meals together. Shay also shared some of her favorite lunches. "The majority of the week, Brock and I like to cook a healthy lunch at home. Whether we make chicken or salmon, we always make sure to have a green side and a healthy carb or two."

Soccer star Alex Morgan was hanging out at the beach

Soccer star Alex Morgan had a fun staycation in San Diego over the summer, a place she genuinely loves. Morgan, 34, shared a reel of herself having good times with her friends and family, including a video of herself hanging out at the beach in a black bikini. "A love letter to San Diego ? see you soon," she captioned the post.

Morgan enjoys a healthy, plant-based diet. "Breakfast is oatmeal with banana, blueberries, cinnamon, and a little bit of maple syrup to sweeten it," she says. "Lunch is a big salad with pecans, walnuts, beets, or I'll have tofu with rice and veggies. That's a typical lunch. I love Mexican food so [dinner] will either be a burrito bowl or tacos, with black beans and rice. I love Fajita veggies, with salsa, and avocado. Charlie loves all these things so it's easy to make for the whole family. She isn't strictly vegan, because I eat this way, I would say she is naturally eating a lot of things that I eat."

Morgan has followed a vegan lifestyle since 2017. "I did it for ethical reasons because of factory farming we do in the US," she says. "I felt disgusted with myself since I didn't feel good eating this meat that was part of that. I didn't want to support that. It's so unnatural, the way animals live and die. And as I started to go more plant-based, first giving up meat and then giving up dairy, I realized the health benefits. I would get reports from my doctor, and my cholesterol dropped in half, which is crazy. All of my blood work which I do every few months was better. And my recovery was much better, I wasn't fatiguing as much. So it benefited me all around. I was fearful it would affect soccer in a detrimental way but it was the opposite. It made me feel better."

Morgan believes motherhood has made her stronger than ever. "I feel fitter now as a mom than I ever did before," she says. "I am in the gym and doing as much training as before, but there is something about being a mom or going through pregnancy, and being a mom there is like an energy reserve, I definitely feel fitter now. I feel like my body changed and I am embracing it. I am fitter than I've ever been."

Morgan is diligent about self-care and wellness. "For my daily wellness routine, I always make sure to take my vitamins, get some form of recovery in chronotherapy or infrared sauna, and sleep for 8 to 9½ hours, which is a lot more than a normal person, but I feel like that amount allows me to reach my full potential the next day," she says. "It's important for me to have some 'me time,' so I try to make sure every couple of days that I do something just for me, like getting a manicure or pedicure. I also make sure that nutrition is a part of my daily routine. A morning protein smoothie sets the right tone for the rest of the day by providing me with the sustained energy I need to conquer whatever comes my way."

Morgan is careful to protect her skin from the sun. "I think all my toiletries are a big thing," she says. "I always make sure to bring enough lotion for my face and body, because we go to a lot of dry places, like Salt Lake City, St. Louis, and Arizona. Combine that with being in the sun all the time, and keeping my skin hydrated is essential. It's important to find the right moisturizer, serums, and, of course, sunscreen to moisturize and protect my skin."

Kat Graham shares photos from Cape Town

Heatwave star Kat Graham had an incredible time at Comic Con Africa, in Cape Town. Graham, 34, shared a series of pictures from the trip, including stunning shots of her posing in the sand in a dark green bikini. "Thank you Cape Town!!!! Here are some pics from my trip to South Africa last week. I miss the people and the ocean view already, and I can't wait to come back in September for the next one! Thanks @comicconafrica for the invite ❤️‍?," she captioned the post.

Graham starts every day playing with her dogs. "My day starts off with drinking a bottle of water—I'm always hydrating," she says. "I like to shower in the morning too using the Caress Forever collection—the fragrance in the body wash is touch-activated. So, I just touch my skin (like a rub on the wrist) throughout the day to reactivate the scent. The fragrance lasts for up to 12 hours, which is amazing for me since I'm running to a million appointments on any given day. I'm also really big on moisturizing. I like to put on my moisturizer and let it sit for a while before applying my makeup. [For breakfast I had]: A yogurt parfait. Usually I'm traveling between different time zones, so meal time always varies; but I [normally] like to start my day with a fruit smoothie and protein, usually eggs or a veggie omelet."

Graham uses argan oil on her hair. "For hair, I'm partial to argan oil–based products," she says. "For skin, I like Wet n Wild Photo Focus Setting Spray. It's made with aloe, so a spritz midday cools my skin down and helps avoid melting makeup. For fragrance, I find I'll spray perfume and the scent will be gone shortly after, so I like Caress Enchant Forever Body Wash because the fragrance in the body wash is touch-activated and lasts for up to 12 hours. For lips, my go-to staple is Carmex. Always."

Graham works out for mental and physical benefits. "As an actress, musician and dancer, my daily routine can be physically demanding, so it's essential that I eat right and work out to keep my energy up," she says. "I'm always looking for opportunities to get outside and I love to run, but I'm careful to switch up my routine so I stay motivated… Mark my words, it is a total understatement when I say I'm obsessed with taking bubble baths. It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day. It's the ultimate therapy for mind and body!"

Graham has a treadmill in two houses and one on set. "I run nothing less than about two miles a day," she says. "I have to do it in the morning. If I don't start my day with running, I let the day beat me up a little bit; if I get it done, I have a really clear head. I'm a working runner. Sometimes, after days of filming for 15 hours, I'm exhausted, and it's a struggle [to get up for a run]. But even if my schedule is erratic, I know if I stop working out, it will affect me mentally. I will become slow and sluggish, and I won't have the energy to take on the day like I need to."

Graham loves running outside. "We have the gorgeous, massive Piedmont Park in Atlanta. It's nice to get that fresh air," she says. "If you're on a treadmill, you're aware of how much time is going by. When you're outside, you just run and think about it later. The music I listen to when I'm running—Kanye, The Prodigy, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Britney—has the message to win and persevere. It's really empowering. I think you should always push yourself. The hardest you can push might be a half mile. The hardest you can push might be around the block. Regardless of the time, regardless of the miles, keep going!"

Morgan Kohan shares photos from the beach

Sullivan's Crossing star Morgan Kohan is showing her fans and social media followers that appearances are not always what they seem. Kohan shared a very glamorous photo of herself posing at the beach in a black bikini and sun hat, sipping on a drink in the sunshine. Unfortunately, she clearly didn't wear enough sunblock. "In a shocking turn of events… I burnt," she captioned the post.

Kohan gained a love for acting in university. "I didn't really get into acting until I was in college," she says. "I went to New York and saw Broadway for the first time, in grade twelve, and immediately set my sights on a Musical Theatre College. I somehow shockingly got in with only my dance background. College was definitely where my love for acting started. Once I graduated, I slowly began to focus on film and TV and that really felt like home for me."

Kohan wants to expand beyond acting. "I can see myself producing more, if I was to expand," she says. "My boyfriend is interested in directing. I'm a problem solver, I really like organizing and getting things done. Just a thought. Probably want to do a short film then move into a movie. I didn't watch much film or TV growing up. In the summer we had TV allowance every day. We were encouraged to play, do homework, dance, etc. Anything, connecting to acting wise was dance based, which led me into acting."

Kohan appreciates the slower pace of Sullivan's Crossing. "Sullivan's Crossing is a family drama that takes place in a small town with a super tight knit community, and because of that, you really learn to love each character and grow with them," she says. "Not to mention it has a beautiful, slow burning love story at its heart. It's the kind of show that I think everyone can see a part of themselves in and that's what I believe really made those classic narrative dramas on CW thrive the way they did.‍"

Kohan loves hiking with her pup. "You don't have to go it alone next time you lace up your hiking boots. Grab a friend, neighbor, or family member for more fun on the trail," according to the National Park Service. "Hiking with a partner, or even in a group, can improve the strength and health of your relationships. Because hiking ranges in difficulty from an extremely challenging climb to a casual way of spending time outside, it's a great way to strengthen the friendships or bonds you have with your companions. Whether it's with a younger sibling, neighborhood friend, or even a grandparent, hiking a trail together can bring you closer and help build a healthy relationship."

Kohan's happy place is with her sister. "I don't think I've ever 'run away' in the same capacity that Maggie does but I have taken a breather, so to speak, when I had some big relationship shifts," she says. "And for that, I went to my younger sister where she took perfect care of me with fuzzy blankets, walks, wine, and trash tv."

Rebecca Romijn shares some bikini photos

Ugly Betty star Rebecca Romijn is channeling her inner Linda Evangelista-type supermodel on the beach, and sharing the pictures on social media. Romijn, 51, who played Alexis Meade on the comedy, posted photos of herself wearing a bright gauzy coverup over a star-patterned bikini, posing against a beautiful ocean background. "Luenell sent me this garment from her new line so I 90's Supermodeled it. Love you Lue," she captioned the post.

Romijn has a philosophical approach to aging. "I don't have a huge fear of aging," she says. "I always thought my mom was so beautiful growing up no matter how many lines she had on her face. I admired my mom's laugh lines. I find peace in that and hope that when my daughters look at me, they do too… My girls are just on the cusp of starting to raid my closet. They're just starting to do it. In fact, I've started finding some of my things in their room. I'm like, it's starting already. I can't believe it… I think life is a whole game of acceptance. I think when you, especially as you get older, you just have to accept certain things and accepting your looks to a certain extent is part of that, just growing up, maturity."

Romijn learned to cook after having children. "I waited as long as I could because I knew that I would have to once I had children," she says. "I don't like the mess that you have to clean up afterwards, so I get lazy sometimes and I order out. We go out to a lot of meals. I don't know, I've got a few things that I like to cook. I like to make a big soup that'll last for a while. It's tough to find something that my kids like, that I also like. So there's a broccoli cheddar soup that we all like, so I'll make a big thing that'll last. It's easy. I'm all about easy!"

Romijn has a less-is-more approach to skincare. "I'm not somebody who wears makeup all the time, and when I do wear it I take it off well," she says. "But when I don't wear makeup, I don't always wash my face at night. I'm ashamed to admit it! I think there's something to be said about letting your natural oils do their job too. I mean, I always rinse and I always use a washcloth, but I don't always clean my skin the way everyone is told to clean their skin every day. And I use something called Oxygen Plasma that I love. It's something amazing that I feel like is a miracle for your skin."

Romijn works out whenever she finds time. "Ideally I would like to work out every day, but that never happens," she says. "I do Pilates four or five times a week. I try to get on a treadmill for a half hour, I do Pilates, I hike, I ride bikes if I can. But for the most part it's a lot of cardio and Pilates."

Romijn feels at her best and healthiest "either after a 90-minute Bikram yoga session or after swimming. It's because of the deep breathing. When I breathe deeply is when I feel best," she says, adding that working out is how she deals with pressure surrounding body image: "Continuing to exercise no matter what. This goes back to breathing deeply and getting oxygen into your blood and doing whatever you can to feel good. It's all you can do."

Apollonia Llewellyn flaunts her famous figure

Apollonia Llewellyn is showing off her assets in a swimsuit. In a new social media post the ring girl flaunts her famous figure in a bathing suit, while also showing off her money. "Gettin' rich," she captioned the sultry Instagram snaps. "Babe," commented one of her followers. "Beautiful," added another.

Apollonia enjoys spending time in her swimsuit and making a splash at the pool. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

Apollonia is a hiker. On a recent trip to Los Angeles she hiked up to the Hollywood sign. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

Building stronger muscles and bones

Improving your sense of balance

Improving your heart health

Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problem

Apollonia enjoys soaking in the bath tub. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

You can often find Apollonia sipping on a Starbucks – both cold and hot. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Hanratty wrote, "These are some videos from my current workouts?? since going vegan my workouts have improved greatly?? In her Instagram video, Hanratty is seen doing TRX workouts. ACE Fitness states that TRX is a great workout. "TRX Suspension Training is a good alternative to traditional exercise modalities. It elicits metabolic responses that meet guidelines for improving and maintaining cardiorespiratory fitness, improves muscular fitness and positively impacts cardiovascular disease risk factors."

In her Instagram gym video, Hanratty is seen doing different strength training exercises. She is seen using a barbell and battle ropes. Strength training has a lot of benefits. Harvard Health reports, "A recent meta-analysis found that people who do muscle-strengthening workouts are less likely to die prematurely than those who don't, adding to previous evidence that strength training has long-term health benefits."

Isabela Merced shows off her amazing body in the beauty of the West Indies

Isabela Merced is taking in the beauty of the West Indies – in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the Madame Web star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while enjoying the Four Seasons Nevis. "Yes I took these and no these aren't stock images," she captioned the series of Instagram photos, adding to the resort, "thank you for this paradise."

While she was never good at sports, she was "very coordinated," which is why she loves to dance, Isbaela told Teen Vogue. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

"Actor me is just a canvas," she told Teen Vogue. "Anyone gets to put whatever paint they want on it, and I'll follow along. It is [also] my therapy, like it was from the day I started, when we had the fire."

Isabela enjoys physical activity as a way to decompress. One of her go-to workouts is Pilates. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it "strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Isabela prioritizes her mental health and avoids panic attacks by limiting her yearly schedule to two projects.

Isabela once suffered an eye injury from yoga. "I was in this yoga class and the instructor was really hot. And he said 'Do a headstand,' and I said, 'I will for you.' And so I did one. But it was right after a long flight." She ended up poping a blood vessel, she revealed to Wired.

Lindsey Vonn went on an unforgettable trip to Lake Como, Italy

Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn went on an unforgettable trip to Lake Como, Italy, in October. Vonn, 39, stayed at the luxury boutique Passalacqua hotel right on the lake, and shared highlights from the vacation on her social media. The athlete posted pictures of herself posing next to a swimming pool in a gray bikini, her hair tied back in a low bun. "Looking back," she captioned the post.

Vonn does a mixture of cardio and strength training three times a week with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson. She now has a body fat percentage of 15%, in comparison to 19% when she was skiing competitively. "I'm a lot leaner," she says. "I used to do things that were so sport specific, so I had to be bigger. But everyone is like, 'Oh my God, you're in the best shape of your life.' It's like — yes and no. I'm not training for my sport anymore, I am training to be lean and fit."

Vonn ate a clean, light diet when she was training and competing. "One thing that I don't eat before my races is meat," she says. "No steaks, no burgers. Your body is spending a lot of energy trying to digest it instead of using your energy to recover and rest and get ready for the race… In the morning usually I'd try to eat eggs and oatmeal, or in Europe they'd have muesli. When we'd go up on the mountain I'd always have some sort of snack like a protein bar, but I'd always get nervous so I never ate a lot when I was on the hill. Twenty minutes before the race I'd have a Red Bull, I always needed that extra energy. When I finished the race I'd have a banana and protein shake to replenish and refuel—it was usually a couple hours before I'd get back to the hotel, so I would eat what I could find. By the time I got back to the hotel, it would be dinnertime so I'd try to have protein, carbs, and veggies: My ideal meal was salmon, rice, and veggies."

Vonn's diet has changed since her retirement. "My eating doesn't look anything like it used to," she says. "I still try to eat healthy but I definitely let myself indulge a bit more, especially after dinner. It's pretty simple in the morning: eggs, avocado. Lunch is usually chicken and kale or a chicken salad, I try not to have too many carbs because I'm not working out that hard so I don't really need a ton of carbs. For dinner, I either do a beyond meat burger or a bolognese but the noodles are zucchini. And then dessert is almost always ice cream—I can't help myself, it's like, OK, I'm not competing any more so I get to treat myself."

Ice cream is Vonn's favorite indulgence. "I would say preferably froyo, I really like it with Reese's pieces combined with Reese's cups—but crumbled," she says. "If you're really going for it you can add some brownie bites in there. But if you can't get froyo, Ben & Jerry's always hits the spot."

Vonn is looking ahead to exciting new projects, including the documentary she made about her first mentor. "We have a great relationship, and I am able to showcase everything she meant to me. We did some interviews already, and there was crying. It was very emotional," she says. "Honestly, right now, these have been some of the scariest times, because I don't know what is ahead. As an athlete, you try to control as many variables as you can. And I can't control any variables right now. I am just trying to stay in the moment and spend time with people I care about."

Kerry Ingram is heating up Disney in her swimsuit

Kerry Ingram is heating up Disney in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the Game of Thrones star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while enjoying the theme park. "Have a Disney dump," the 24-year-old actress captioned the series of Instagram photos and videos. "Beauty," commented one. "Cutie," added another.

Kerry is a reader. Here she is lounging in bed reading a book. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Kerry loves to hike – at the beach and in the mountains. Here she is hiking in her bathing suit. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

Building stronger muscles and bones

Improving your sense of balance

Improving your heart health

Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

Kerry understands the importance of hydration. "Unfortunately for Kez, the drink is tap water. Feelin cute tho," she captioned this Instagram post. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Kerry, the proud dog mom of a pug, spends a lot of time taking her pooch for long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Kerry also has a horse, which she regularly rides when she is home. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

Jennie Garth shows off her amazing body while vacationing in Palm Beach

Jennie Garth is heating up Florida – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the 90210 legend shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while vacationing in Palm Beach. "Florida shenanigans (Part 1)" she captioned the series of snaps. "Jennie I have seen you since 90210 (Over 30 years) and you look the same. How can that be? Secret please ??" one of her followers commented. "Sooooo pretty," added another.

"My diet is in large part plant-based," Garth told The Beet. "I load up on berries, vegetables and lots of salad."

Garth detailed her diet to The Beet.

For Breakfast: "I eat oats in almond milk, and add almond slivers, blueberries, strawberries, chia seeds on top. But I eat the oats right after I pour the oat milk on them, even before they are softened. I love the crunch of it," she said.

For Lunch: Garth has a salad for lunch. "On a day when I am eating well, everything I can find goes into my salad: Avocado, tomatoes, nuts, and for sweetness, I like to add green apple into the mix," she said.

For Dinner: "We love Mexican food in our house, and though it's not the healthiest, you can make a taco with lots of vegetables. I love the vegan cheese, and I'll make a tortilla with vegan cheese, like Daiya, which is my current favorite!"

Dessert or Snack: "My favorite treat right now is the chocolate-covered almonds from Trader Joe's. I am a 'phase' person and I go through phases when I get stuck on a food and enjoy it until I get sick of it. And right now I am stuck on those!"

In a recent post, Garth showed off her workout routine. "It's time! Let's do this… let's choose to take care of ourselves, together?" Garth captioned the post. "I love sharing my private workouts with you all and hearing how it's motivating you! So keep messaging me…. and I'll keep motivating you, deal?" she captioned it. Her workout included weight lifting, mountain climbers, push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, and stretching.

"I also love to get outside any chance I get, and right now I am into golf!" Garth told The Beet. "It's a great activity both mentally and physically because you can walk the course. It keeps me sharp too since you really have to focus. But mostly I love it because it's a way to spend time in nature and see beautiful vistas and trees. And there is a lot of walking involved!"

For exercise, Garth does "a lot of stretching," she told The Beet. "Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints," says Harvard Health. "Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight."

Roxanne McKee shares some bikini photos

Roxanne McKee is making a splash in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the Game of Thrones star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while going for a swim with her pal, Shelli Epstein. "Beat the heat!" she captioned the photo. "Wow Roxanne you look incredible," commented one of her followers. "Stunning as always my Queen," added another.

"While the fitness angle has always been in my blood – I barely left the water as a child, from swimming to hanging off the back of my brother's surfboard as an eight year old, adventure within fitness has always been a part of my life. My most fond memories of childhood are salty beach days, or drizzly hikes in chalk pits in the south of England.  I'm happiest outside, by water, or up a mountain, no matter the weather I choose the wild," Roxanne told Future Fit.

Roxanne enjoys walking and running wherever she is traveling. "I do advise walking through the world and moving your body. There is nothing more exhilarating to me that pounding new streets," she said.

Roxanne maintain that she has made a lot of friends while hiking. "Of course these strangers always became friends, and the adventures never stopped because when you share movement and a love of nature you're bonded for life. I have a particularly happy/chaotic memory of a four hour hike up Table Mountain, with a director, makeup artist, personal trainer and a stunt guy that started to get dangerous when the weather changed and we found ourselves lost in the mountain while the mist descended and the rain set in," she told Future Fit.

Roxanne maintains that exercise is the best mental health booster. "I didn't know just how 'happy' it made me to just move until I went through a particularly tricky breakup some years ago. I felt so sad, but I had to put on muscle and change up my body for a show I was working on. All I could do was go to the gym every day and workout with my trainer. He became one of my best friends, his understanding, and gentle emphasis on eating properly and working out while I felt low carried me through a very painful time. I got fit, I got strong, and I never looked back. I promised myself I would do this for someone else one day," she said.

Roxanne watches what she eats. "I'm very conscious about what I put in my body because I suffer from acne so I try to maintain a very balanced diet, while also feeling myself with all the nutrients I need to be on the go all the time," she told Innermost.

Melissa Barrera shows off her amazing body during a Cancun vacation

Melissa Barrera is keeping things hot south of the border in her bathing suit. In a social media post shared earlier this year, the Scream 6 star shows off her amazing body in a swimsuit during a Mexico vacation. "Sister trip 2023," she captioned the series of social media snaps taken at the Live Aqua Beach Resort in Cancun. "Hermosa," commented one of her followers. "U are amazing," added another.

"I think that you look the way you feel. So if you feel like you're able to move because you've made it a point to be active all your life, to keep your body healthy and strong, then you're going to stay strong and healthy, and that's going to make you look, feel, and act younger automatically," Melissa told Byrdie about her motivation to exercise.

"I think it's important to maintain a positive mindset. … Like the actress Rita Moreno—she is a goddess. She is way older than she looks," Melissa said. "Have you seen One Day at a Time? It's this fantastic sitcom on Netflix that she's on. She is just so youthful. She moves, and she dances, and she looks beautiful, but it's her energy—it's so much younger. She's maintained that. She hasn't let herself get jaded by the industry. She's just active and happy."

Melissa mixes up her workouts. "I have always been a fitness person and loved exercise ever since I was little. I played basketball all my life since I was four years old. I danced most of my life, too. And I love being active and trying new things. Extreme things. I love to rock climb. I love to water ski. If someone has a random idea, I'm always the first to be like; I'll do that even if it's jumping out of a plane or hot air ballooning. I like to get out of my routine. Like today, my routine is going to the gym and taking a boxing class or cardio core class or a Bang Ball class, which is a really cool class that I've been taking," she told Byrdie.

"I need to feel like there's a purpose to my workouts. I'm not the kind of person who can go to the gym and do a weights routine myself. I need to feel motivated by people around me, so I love taking classes and getting out of my comfort zone," Melissa added about exercise. "I love this one called Bang Ball: It sounds awful, but it's amazing. It's this class that this guy at my gym invented. It's basically with a weighted American football. Not a round ball. The one with that long shape—you can do so much with it, and it's comfortable to have in your hand. It doesn't fall. We do arms; we do abs. It's a class exclusive to the gym I go to in L.A.—it's called Built—but I think he's going to do a workout video and start selling it for people to do at home. It's cool. I really like it."

Melissa isn't afraid of fast food. "I will order McDonald's," she says. "Whenever I have a really, really hard day on set, I always just crave fast food," she told Women's Health . "You gotta indulge.

Melissa prioritizes rest. She loves spending a day in bed with dogs watching reality television. "That, to me, is resting and is gonna allow me to be able to get up the next day and work," she says. She also doesn't feel guilty sleeping in. "I don't get FOMO…I know what I need, and what I need is to rest and to sleep and I love sleeping. The only reason I leave my room sometimes is to walk my dogs."

Brooke Hogan shows off her body

Brooke Hogan is sharing her "superpower" in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post, the Hogan Knows Best star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit. "My superpower is seeing through bulls**t. What's yours?!" she captioned the Instagram image. "Literally same. Recognize, and remove yourself from the toxic ones!" commented one of her followers. "Beautiful," added another.

Brooke is serious about fitness, just like her dad. She trains with Hulk six days a week in the morning, doing 30 minutes of cardio exercises and one hour of weight lifting, she revealed to Shed Your Weight On Twitter she added that occasionally she will hit the gym twice. "Feelin good, gymin' it 2x a day! Who else is bringin' sexy back?" she wrote.

Brooke admits that she diets to lose weight. "I feel great at this weight, but I've started sticking to a diet again," she told OK! Magazine. "I'm trying hard to get down even more. You need to keep to the old-school bodybuilder diet of eggs, fish, chicken, meat and broccoli."

Brooke is open about her self-love. "I do. I love my body," she told OK! "Thick or not, I'm firm. I don't have cellulite. I'm happy with how I am. People should know, I'm only doing the diet for the entertainment business. It's not really what you're supposed to look like in real life."

Brooke does goat yoga. "Still can't get over this absolutely incredible experience we had yesterday with little baby goats! So good for the soul! #goatyoga #fun #fit #healthy," she captioned this photo. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

"I eat whenever my body tells me I need something, but I try not to eat too late at night. If I do, no carbs," she told Shed Your Weight. Her diet is "super clean, all organic food" and "very healthy." She eats small meals and healthy snacks including almonds, walnuts, grapes, fruit, salad, tuna with low-fat mayo, LaraBar energy bar, organic mac and cheese, and low carb vanilla crackers.

Kristine Froseth shows off her amazing body while enjoying a day on the lake

Kristine Froseth is at home in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the Buccaneers star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while enjoying a day on the lake. "There's no place like home," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps.

To prepare for her role in Birds of Paradise, Kristine did a lot of physical prep. "For three months beforehand, they set an intense schedule from morning to night where we would do Pilates, the Gyrotonic method, and some stretch classes. We would observe dance classes and take private beginners' classes—which aren't really for beginners, in my opinion!—at these different studios in the city, so I just tried to literally pack as much in as I could. I was really out of touch with my body and so out of alignment and had no idea what these different muscle groups were or what any of this was about, and I had no dance experience prior, so it was really intense, but I've learned so much about myself and my body. Overall, it was great," she told Vogue.

Kristine advocates that people prioritize their mental health. "If anyone's struggling with loss or depression, it's so important to rely on one another and talk about it and ask for support. Amongst us females, I feel like we can support each other within the larger competition because there's space for everyone. Within my own industry, I have a lot of good friends who go up for the same roles I do, but we know it's apples and oranges, right? We can compete, but it doesn't have to be sabotage," she told Vogue.

Growing up Kristine was bullied for struggling to adapt to the language shifts and confluence of cultures, splitting her time between Oslo and New Jersey. She used her experience to play a mean girl in Netflix's Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. "I'm grateful now because I feel like it definitely helped me get out of my comfort zone," she says, referring to the trials and tribulations of her high school days. "But while it was happening, it wasn't that fun," she told Elle.

One way Froseth treats anxiety is running. She even did the New York City Marathon. "It's always been a dream of mine to do a marathon and then an Iron Woman," she told Elle. "I want to push myself in different ways and see how far I can take it."

Kristine considers hiking a form of self-care. She regularly gets out of her house and explores outdoors. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

Building stronger muscles and bones

Improving your sense of balance

Improving your heart health

Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

Kristine spends as much time in nature as she can. You can often find her walking.

South African Model Minnie Dlamini shares some photos

Minnie Dlamini is sending a message to her soon–to-be ex-husband in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post, the South African model seems to call out her baby daddy, showing him what he is missing by posing in a bathing suit. "What do you say about that X?" she captioned the poolside Instagram snap.

"Everyone is different, and our weight loss journeys are too. It starts with an honest commitment to work out," she told Sowetan Live. "To gym or not to gym… that is the question," she captioned a post from one of her recent workouts.

If you want a body like Minne's, drink water. "Drink lots of water," Minnie told Sowetan Live when asked about the secret to her skin. She added that hydration also helped her lose weight. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Diet is also an important part of her weight loss journey. Minnie maintains that "eating better," helped her lose weight.

When it's time to chill out, Minnie enjoys white wine. While red wine is slightly healthier than white, the lighter shade of vino generally has fewer calories than the darker shade.

Minnie takes lots of walks, in the city and on the beach.

Surfing star Anastasia Ashley shows off her incredibly fit figure

Anastasia Ashley has an exciting announcement to make in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the surfer and influencer shows off her incredibly fit figure in a bathing suit while announcing her exciting partnership with W Punta de Mita, where she will host the ultimate surf and wellness retreat from December 4 to 8. "BIG NEWS! JOIN me for a surf wellness retreat i'm hosting with @wpuntademita THIS DEC 4th-8th! Learn how to surf as well as a few fun days of wellness and FUN! of course with private dinners and cocktails," she captions the post.

Surfing is Anastasia's main form of fitness. "Surfing is a full-body workout. When you're riding the board and balancing, you use your legs for balance and stability. And because you're always squatting, which is an uncomfortable and abnormal body position, it challenges your butt and legs," she tells Cosmopolitan.

Anastasia tries to eat as clean as possible. "Stay away from processed foods. If it didn't come from the earth, it's not meant to be in your body," she says about her top diet rule.

First, you will need to hit the gym. "I'm in the gym every day I'm not at the beach, doing a mix of cardio and strength-training, such as squats on the Bosu ball, leg lifts and lunges. I love spin classes as well — listening to blaring music and getting super-sweaty," Anastasia tells Men's Fitness. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

Anastasia walks on a treadmill but makes sure to do it on an incline. "While cardio alone won't keep you toned, I walk on a treadmill at a high incline, climb on the StairMaster, and do lots of quick intervals," she told Cosmopolitan. "With the incline walking, I'll do 12 to 15 incline at a 3 to 4 mile-per-hour pace. Even if you jog or run for five minutes on a super high incline, it's still pretty hard!"

Anastasia loves spin class. "I also love doing spinning. I'm a Flywheel fan. It's the best workout overall, and it gets you motivated and competitive," she adds. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
