Celebrity trainer and Hot Pilates founder Shannon Nadj reveals how to get bikini body ready for summer 2024.
It's getting hot in here! Hot Pilates founder Shannon Nadj has helped celebs including Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Shay Mitchell, Shanina Shaik, and more A-listers get in tip-top shape, and now the trainer is sharing her bikini body secrets with ET as we head into summer 2024.
The fitness guru is known for her intense, heated, full-body mat Pilates workouts that tone muscles through classic Pilates poses mixed with weights, cardio, and exercise bands — and as the temperature heats up, so do her classes.
"For the next few weeks, we are focusing on the core with a killer abdominal burn. In the studio, we are challenging our community to complete 21 classes within a 30-day cycle. Online, we have an Ab Challenge and we are dropping five new workouts per week for the next three weeks," Nadj explains.
Think: Pilates-inspired ab moves, teaser variations, cardio bursts, low impact HIIT exercises, and killer core combination moves.
"We prioritize form and technique to achieve the best results. Emphasizing proper posture and initiating from your center and core will leave you feeling strong," she shares.
Once you finish the series, you can expect to feel your absolute best (and maybe a little sore too.)
"I hope clients feel confident, strong, and sculpted. … Strength is a priceless confidence booster," she says.
So when it’s time to head to the beach and snap a photo for Instagram, all you'll need is your go-to sunny weather must-haves.
"I like to exfoliate my skin, give myself a lymphatic massage, make a de-bloating smoothie, and stay hydrated before a beach day. … I always bring SPF, sunglasses, a good book, a speaker, and a bottle of Le Carenage Rosé," Nadj spills.
So when it’s time to head to the beach and snap a photo for Instagram, all you'll need is your go-to sunny weather must-haves.

"Follow a healthy diet, stay hydrated, and continue to find a way to move daily. Repeat the online challenge at your leisure. Classes are travel friendly, no equipment necessary and under 25 minutes long," she notes.

Mitchell is a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast. "My food philosophy is everything in moderation," she says. "Truly, I'm not one who believes in diets. I make the same breakfast every day. I'm the biggest fan of this egg quesadilla I saw on TikTok. I never get sick of it. I know you didn't ask me how to make it, but I'm going to tell you! You scramble the eggs, you put them in a pan, and then you put the tortilla on top of it. You flip it and it's perfectly even, and then you can get crazy with what else you put in it. I'll usually add spinach, cheese, and mushrooms on top. With a smoothie after a workout, it's super filling."
Mitchell enjoys plant-based bread replacements. "For lunch, I'll get these cauliflower or broccoli crusts that are frozen," she says. "I'll make my own pizza with it. I'll dump some spinach and arugula on it, and then a little bit of Ranch. I'll usually have vegetables cut up with hummus. I love hummus with anything; I mean everything with hummus just tastes better, you know? I also have, like, meals for snacks. I love Beyond Meat. I'll have a Beyond meat lettuce wrap with sweet potato fries for a snack."
Mitchell's favorite dessert is ice cream. "Dinner is, like, a fish, maybe a sweet potato or a pasta, and then l always have a salad there too," she says. "I've found healthy recipes that I can do that are super simple because I'm not a chef by any means, but I do love food… I love ice cream. There's this female-founded company called Wanderlust Creamery, and they have the best ice cream. I'm half-Filipino, and I love other Asian foods. They have this one called Ube Crunch, another called Mango Sticky Rice, and another flavored like Matcha Tea."
Mitchell teamed up with Openfit and trainer Kelsey Heenan to create Four Weeks of Focus. "It's 30 minutes a day, five days a week—for four weeks only," she says. "It's a very realistic commitment and that in and of itself makes it exciting and easier to stick to."
Mitchell believes in balance and realism when it comes to health and fitness. "If it doesn't feel good don't do it," she says. "It's okay to take a day off, it's okay to cheat. We're all people and while it's essential that we challenge ourselves, some days you just have to give yourself a break. But on the days you don't need a break, hit it hard. Once you rip off the band-aid you will start reaping the benefits of your hard work and will be more motivated as a result."

more...Shay Mitchell is soaking up the sun – in her swimsuit. The actress and luggage entrepreneur shows off her incredible body in a flirty bathing suit in one of her latest social media photos. "What a difference a week can make," she captioned the Instagram post. "Okay but that bod + 2 kids … HOW??" commented one of her followers.
Shay drinks her first meal of the day. "I'm not a breakfast person, so for me, it's usually my coffee-protein shake — an odd concoction of cold brew, ice, two scoops of protein, and a handful of spinach. Some days, I'll start with celery juice or tea and water with lemon," she recently dished to The Cut.
Shay loves exercising and recently started weightlifting. "I love working out and look forward to the gym. Since having kids, I've started getting into weights. It's invigorating to lift heavier than before. I'm an Aries — we're very competitive with ourselves and other people," she told the publication.
Shay does a lot of glute work. "These days, I love doing anything for the bum. On TikTok, I'm seeing all these girls with the little scrunch pants, and I bought a pair for myself and … it didn't do anything. That's how I knew it was still time to build a bum," she told The Cut.
Shay doesn't let the haters get to her, as she has been working on hr issues for years with the help of a professional. "If you're just being negative to be negative, that never has any effect on me, because I know that those people are hurting themselves. I had that experience being in high school. I've been bullied. I've gone through that, and I've had enough therapists to tell me it has nothing to do with me. So at this point, being in my mid-30s, anything just negative to be negative will never affect me. I can promise you that," she told The Cut.
Shay practices sleep hygiene. "Before I go to bed, I'll have sleep tea or something like that, because it's sometimes difficult for me to turn off my mind," she told The Cut.

The Pretty Little Liars alum posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a bikini during a recent beach trip, and we’re don't know if we are more upset with how effortlessly chic and carefree she looks or the fact that we are not there.
"ME when production tells you that your call time is 8am instead of 2am," she captioned the pic. Shay was cheesing in the sand and clearly having the time of her life. She even coordinated her swimsuit with a matching cover-up and a trendy pair of sunglasses.
This, of course, isn't the first time that a photo of her has given us the travel bug. Just a couple months ago, the You actress shared a photo of herself tubing while on vacation in Mexico in a black bandeau bikini.
A few weeks before that, Shay also 'grammed a few sultry pics of herself casually kayaking in Big Lagoon wearing a backless, red one-piece swimsuit. So, it's safe to say that she's officially become people’s swimsuit inspiration.
