Ashanti is heating up the islands – in her swimsuit. In one of her most recent posts, the body confident singer flaunts her famous curves in a bathing suit. "Bahama mama," she captioned the Instagram snaps. "Nelly is so lucky.. I'm just going to leave it at that," one of her followers commented, referencing her romantic reunion with the rapper. "Where the ring Nelly. Can u not see," added another.

"As you evolve and age, you become more comfortable in your skin. I might put on a bikini a little more often now than when I first came out," she recently told Prevention. "A lot of the confidence comes from within …. for me, it's just about staying true to myself and accentuating the good things I love about myself. I'm proud to be happy with who I am."

"With the position I'm in right now, I have to work hard and make some sacrifices. So, boundaries are important," she said about the importance of self-care. "I can do a bunch of interviews, but when I'm down to three or four hours of sleep, I have to [carve out some self-care time]. Creating a balance when working hard and going after all these amazing opportunities is essential. You have to be cognizant of your mental health, get enough sleep, drink enough water, and eat the right foods."

Ashanti has been promoting a mostly plant-based diet for a while, declaring herself a pescatarian. However, she told Prevention she is "trying to go vegetarian now."

"What goes into your body should go hand-in-hand with your beauty routine," Ashanti told Prevention. "I have been on tour for months, and tour food is not good, but I am back on track with juicing and incorporating healthy food and exercise into my routine."

"My mental health is amazing," Ashanti added. "I'm in a state of just being super grateful. I'm so blessed, and my heart is full." Protecting mental health is vital for overall well-being. Firstly, prioritize self-awareness, recognizing signs of stress or distress. Regularly engage in physical activity, as it releases endorphins that combat depression and anxiety. Prioritize sleep, ensuring 7-9 hours nightly. Build a support system of trusted individuals to share feelings with. Engage in mindfulness practices like meditation or deep breathing exercises.

Set boundaries, avoiding over-commitment. Limit exposure to negative news or social media. Consume a balanced diet, emphasizing foods that boost mood, such as omega-3 fatty acids. Finally, don't hesitate to seek professional help if feeling overwhelmed; therapists or counselors offer valuable coping strategies

Singer Ashanti shared some recent pictures during a tropical getaway

In the images posted, the “Rain On Me” singer Ashanti rocked a bikini with shades as she posed beachside with palm trees and blue skies in the background.

Her swimsuit is tied at the sides, with a gold, black and white pattern, which we can see while she poses with her arms in the air, her incredible abs. She captioned the post simply, “Island hoppin’.”

Ashanti has managed to keep her curves in check in her 40s

The singing sensation looked stunning when in a hot pink two piece in the Bahamas this week as she celebrated her 41st birthday in style.

The beauty lounged on a lush lawn when at the Baha Mar resort which is known for it's luxurious rooms and vast grounds.

In the images shared, she had on a gold A necklace wit a lime green wrap, big hoop earrings, purple tinted sunglasses and a wristband.

Her family threw a decadent birthday dinner - her birthday fell on October 13 but she was only celebrating it this week - at the hip Katsuya restaurant where the group dined on master sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi's fresh take on classic Japanese cuisine.

In the evening, Ashanti family including Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño and Miso-Marinated Black Cod.

The whole group was in a celebratory mood, and it meant a lot to Ashanti that all of her friends and closest family members were able to gather together after a difficult year,' said our eyewitness.

She was also spotted hanging out on a yacht boating, dancing to the latest music, and enjoying the magnificent turquoise Bahamian waters.

Before leaving the Bahamas, Ashanti spent some time meeting Baha Mar's Flamingos during a private encounter.

Ashanti donned a colorful ensemble and fit right in with the national bird of The Bahamas.

This sighting comes just as it was announced the star will receive the Lady Of Soul award at the BET Awards.

In September she said she is re-recording her Grammy-winning debut album after reclaiming ownership of her masters.

The R&B singer's 2002 self-titled LP is now back in the rightful hands of the creator, and she is feeling 'blessed' to be in the position.

Appearing on the 'Tamron Hall Show', she said: 'I have an amazing legal team. I was first signed to a record label at the age of 14. Seeing how things have changed so much from then to now; conceptually understanding what you are signing is so important.

'The fact that I'll be able to re-record my album and put everything together is such a blessing, I am grateful. The fact that we are still here and living through a pandemic and these blessings are still coming in makes me so humbled.'

The landmark record - which included the hit singles 'Foolish', 'Happy' and 'Baby' - sold six million copies worldwide and saw the 40-year-old star nominated for three Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album, the latter of which she took home.

The LP features guest vocals from Gotti, Ja Rule, and the late The Notorious B.I.G..

The 40-year-old songstress shared a video showing her strutting happily in a blonde bob, white sunglasses and a blue bikini And it was hard not to notice her toned abs.

"Energy. When u been in the gym 33 days and you’re eating fries tonight!!!" Ashanti wrote.

Ashanti regularly shares images of her amazing body and has been open over the years about her diet and fitness routines. In a 2019 interview, she advised people to "have balance" when it comes to getting the best results from their workouts.

"You have to eat clean and you have to work out. You have to allow yourself at least two cheat days so that it doesn’t become too strict,” Ashanti suggested.“I cut out a lot of meat. I think again, self-health and self-awareness are so important. All of that stuff is so important to maintaining your body, knowing what’s in your food, the GMO’s and the chemicals, and I’m super aware of this stuff.”

In addition to food, she also talked about the importance of having support when it comes to fitness.

“I have a trainer and we try to go five days a week when I’m home and then when I get to another place, he’s texting me a workout or he’ll FaceTime me and say, ‘Are you still in the bed?’ We try to keep it going,” she said.
