Cat Deeley wows in bikini snaps

TV presenter Cat Deeley gave fans a peek into her holiday as she was noticeably missing from This Morning.

This week, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were noticeably missing from their usual This Morning slot.

Instead fan-favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary have stepped in to present the ITV programme during the October half term. The pair have been confirmed to host the show for a Halloween special, where they will be dressing up in some spooky costumes.

Although their absence weren’t explained to viewers, fans only had to Instagram to know the TV icon was enjoying a sun-soaked getaway with her family.

In the snaps, Cat was all smiles as she stripped off and relaxed on the beach alongside her rarely seen sons.

The 48-year-old also jetted off with her husband, Irish comedian Patrick Kielty.

In sweet photos, the couples young sons Milo, eight and James, six could be seen building sandcastles and playing in the water.

Cat also shared a clip of herself sunbathing in a yellow two-piece bikini and black sunglasses, seemingly having a whale of a time in the mystery location.

Additionally, she too seemed to embrace the fun as she played with Bluey filter on Instagram.

This came just a week after Cat was brought to tears while presenting This Morning on her birthday.

She became visibly emotional when her co-host Ben presented a video message from poet Pam Ayres, who had written a special poem just for Cat.

Overwhelmed by the surprise, Cat confessed that the gesture meant a lot to her as Pam was a significant part of her childhood.

As she wiped away her tears, Ben comforted her with a supportive hand squeeze before they continued with the show.

Cat Deeley has been soaking up the August sunshine on the golden beaches of Saint Tropez, France, with her husband, Irish presenter Patrick Kielty in recent days.

The 47-year-old has been pictured cuddling up to her hubby in the sea while taking some time away from their hectic work schedules for the summer.

Cat donned a tiny khaki triangle bikini top with matching bottoms as the photographs were snapped of her on holiday with Patrick. The couple tied the knot in September 2012 after a whirlwind nine-month romance.

She accessorised her swimwear with two dainty necklaces paired with large gold hoop earrings and rectangular black sunglasses.

The ITV presenter, who joined This Morning in March, opted for sitting on a beach towel on the sand over using a sunlounger for the day, with her husband setting up a windshield tent in a shaded area on the shore.

The star has been spending some time away from ITV with her husband during the summer break.

It is not known whether their children have joined them on the trip which is taking place during the school summer holidays.

The pair were snapped enjoying some time in the sea with one another to cool off from the scorching temperatures hitting the area this August.

Cat looked sunkissed and carefree as her 53-year-old husband wrapped his arms around her.

Patrick kept his sunglasses on while they spent time in the sea together.

Cat is known to have been doing ab-burning yoga for two decades and follows a healthy balanced diet.

Cat's clearly a fan of swimming in the sea and in this picture, she returned to shore with wet hair swept out of her face.

It wouldn't be long before the sun would dry her off and warm her up again, as it's reached 30C in the area.

Cat was pictured lifting her hair off her neck to cool down during the hot day at the beach.

She chose to sit on a beach towel instead of joining her husband in the shaded tent he'd set up for the day of relaxation.

Cat Deeley was clearly enjoying a break from the norm as she basked in the French sunshine.

The TV presenter announced she was taking a break from This Morning duties earlier this month and confirmed she isn't due back until September. She appears to be making the most of the downtime alongside her kids and TV star husband, Patrick Kielty.

Cat and fellow presenter, Irish comedian Patrick, share two sons together - Milo, eight, and James, five - and tied the knot in 2012.

The quartet were sunning it up on the sandy beaches of St Tropez. They 47-year-old former SMTV Live star showed her toned physique as she smiled while appearing to set up camp for the family.

She opted for a two piece black strapless bikini and paired it with a cream panama hat with a gold trim. She accessorised with a pari of chunky black sunglasses.

Cat was stood beside a blue tent with a number of beach bags scattered nearby. She appeared to summon hubby Patrick from his dip in the sea in a bid to get the family dried off. Patrick wore navy swimwear and was seen to add a white polo shirt.

Later, Cat was seen putting on a plain navy maxi dress to go for a walk after drying and dressing one of her kids. For her jaunt, Cat wore open-toed sandals and she was spotted carrying one of her youngsters' shoes.

While the length of their holiday is unclear, they were basking under the glorious European sunshine while England is battered by rain and colder weather last week too. Cat took to Instagram to share a rare glimpse of her kids climbing onto a wall, with a luxury Chanel store in the background.

She captioned her upload: "C'est si bon!" which translates to: "It is so good!" She also shared footage of the brothers on their way to a local beach while carrying an inflatable boat.

The trip is the latest luxury getaway for the star, who also opted for a trip to Cabo during the Easter break.

Cat's latest break from presenting duties comes a month after she apologised for insensitive comments on air. The presenter had caused a storm online, when she was seen dancing in the ITV studio alongside co-star Ben Shephard before introducing singer Meghan Trainor as one of her guests for the day.

Playfully chatting as the cameras rolled, she joked: "I'm just having a seizure." Her words prompted an angry backlash on Twitter/X: "Wow @catdeeley @thismorning choose your words more wisely!! You really think seizures are funny!? What a stupid thing to say and then snigger at!," one user fumed.

The backlash continued to grow online, leading to Cat issuing an apology a day later.

Cat Deeley works hard to look good in a bikini

Cat Deeley is making a splash in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the television presenter shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while swimming with a bunch of pool floats. "I don't mind doing it for the kids so come on, jump on board, take a ride," she wrote about her Instagram Stories image.

Cat's days start "very early." She used to sip on a cup of warm lemon water first thing, but after her dentist warned it would ruin her tooth enamel, she made a switch. "Now I have a green juice. I have celery and cucumber, and a little bit of lemon juice and ginger," she told Women's Health. She follows it up with coffee. "I feel sometimes like I need my cup of coffee to properly get my eyes open and get myself moving," she said.

Cat is a fan of intermittent fasting. She eats an early dinner with her family and then fasts until the morning. "I'm doing intermittent fasting, which I didn't realize. But it seems to work really well for my body I think I sleep better…I actually feel so much better as well rather than having a meal later on in the day at like eight-thirty or nine o'clock or whatever," she told Women's Health.

"Running and gyms don't suit me, you have to find what you like," Cat told Metro. She claims that regular yoga classes keeps her from looking like an "old lady" even though she is "not very stretchy naturally" she says. "I'm not very stretchy naturally so yoga helps me, otherwise I'd look like an old lady." She trains with Tara Lee. "Tara introduced me to the wonderful world of yoga 10 years ago … I couldn't even touch my toes! I've been hooked ever since," she added to Self. She even does her yoga videos, "Elements of Yoga" DVDs. "With her yoga DVDs, even I can find some 'me time', to focus my mind, reset my body and just breathe," she said.

In addition to "four times a week" yoga sessions, Cat takes a daily hike. "Even if you can just do twenty minutes it makes all the difference – I just put my trainers on and walk down the hill with my dog. You never regret doing exercise, you never come back and wish you hadn't done it, it feels amazing," she told Cosmopolitan.

Cat attributes her healthy approach to eating to her mother. "She never made things 'bad' or never made things, you know, unobtainable or, you know, we were free to help ourselves whenever we wanted to," she explains. "I think by doing that you kind of learn what makes you feel your body feel good and what makes you feel healthy. I like to listen to my body a lot." A piece of fruit, such as a banana, or a handful of almonds, are two of her go-to snacks. When she wants something more savory, she'll grab crackers and cheese.
