Today's Bikini News
Jessica Allain is heating up the islands in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post The Continental star shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while vacationing in St. Lucia. She shared the photos to Instagram, driving her followers wild. "You're beautiful," commented one. "Chocolatety deliciousness," added another.
"Everybody had a chance to have their own time with learning their characters movements and us refining it based on how they are catching on to the training," Larnell Stovall, who served as an action director and stunt coordinator on Peacock's new mini-series, told Muscle & Fitness about how Allain and her costars trained in Kata for The Continental. "Everyone had their own bootcamp and we had consistent training throughout," he added. "Our job is to make sure you stay safe, make sure you stretch properly, and learn the fight scene wholly, because that's what you have time for. You do the fight scene over, and over, and over, just like your lines .. if all you know is that one fight scene, and you look like a bad a**, and natural, then boom. Well done, job accomplished."
While vacationing in Saint Lucia, Jessica went for a hike. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
Building stronger muscles and bones
Improving your sense of balance
Improving your heart health
Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
Jessica is a coffee drinker. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
In her post from Saint Lucia, Jessica shows off one of her healthy habits: Reading. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
In the same post Allain revealed that she prioritizes hydration by drinking out of a coconut. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
