The Canadian model Kate Bock made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut in 2013. Fast forward to 2020, when the 33-year-old teamed up with Jasmine Sanders and Olivia Culpo to appear on the coveted cover. As a sought-after supermodel, the call to fly to any dazzling destination can happen at any moment, which is why she’s always game to strike a pose in a two-piece.
But these days, Bock is keeping busy in other ways. And wedding bells will be heard soon as Bock said "yes" in January to NBA star Kevin Love.
Bock spoke about being part of the SI Swimsuit family, creating fun cocktails at home, how she stays in shape all year long, as well as the must-have foods that are always in her fridge. " I’m always running around, so I like things that I can grab easily. For example, I love Abby’s Better squeeze packs. They have different types of nut butter like almonds or even sunflower. They’re great for when I’m heading to the gym and I can just throw them in my purse. I also like to carry them when I’m traveling. It’s an easy snack on the go.
But I’m a big almond butter person, so you will always find that. I’m also a big egg person. I eat eggs pretty much every single day for breakfast. I love eggs. I’m also a big avocado fan. I love eating it fresh or using it to make a chocolate mousse for dessert. I know it sounds weird, but it’s really good. I highly recommend it. I also have a lot of sliced turkey and fresh chicken. I always like to have premade food in Tupperwares, just ready to go. That way, when you get home and you’re really tired, you just need to heat it. And you’ll have plenty of options, too."
Talking about what made her want to join the magazine she told " I just remember looking at the magazines when I was a younger girl in Canada. I always thought the women were so beautiful and the locations felt so exotic like it was all a dream. I’ve been with this brand for nearly a decade, which feels insane. But they have supported me through all these years. We’re together all year with events, meetings and calls. They’re really present in my life. They’ve helped me grow as a person, and they inspired me to develop as an entrepreneur, which I’m loving."
And this is the way she prepared for new photo shoots "It’s crazy. People always ask me, "How do you prepare for a shoot?" In my industry, you always have to be prepared. I could get a call to fly tonight to Mexico and shoot a bikini campaign tomorrow. It’s sometimes that quick. So I don’t prepare that much for Sports Illustrated. In this industry, you always have to be ready to go. So it’s more about having a healthy lifestyle with daily exercise than anything else. And the brand does an amazing job of making every girl feel her absolute best in her body."
And also she revealed her fitness routine. I’m someone who lives in between a few different places because my fiancé plays basketball in Cleveland. So we are constantly traveling. I am someone who works out very regularly, but it all depends on what I have accessible to me that day. Sometimes I’ll do an at-home workout using a fitness app. I love good dance cardio because it’s really fun, and you can honestly do it anywhere. When I’m at home, I work out with my trainer in the mornings at Gotham Gym. I love it and I can get my workout done for the day. Sometimes I’ll even bike there, and it feels great to get your day started that way. If I’ve been traveling a lot or I feel run down, I love hot yoga to help stretch everything out. I do spin. I like SoulCycle and I do Pilates. And if I’m in a different city, I look up workouts near my hotel.
I also have a puppy, so she gets me outside every day. I’ve started to notice the mileage that I walk with my dog. So I walk everywhere to get things done, but I’m also in a walkable city. If I’m in a location that’s not so walkable, I get on a treadmill and walk for an hour. And I find that makes a big difference. And on days when I feel like challenging myself, maybe I’ll do a bit of an incline for an hour.
I think the key is to get your body moving. You shouldn’t get intimidated by doing certain workouts. Whatever works for you is great. I also like the TRX Suspension Trainers, and you can just hook them to your door. It’s amazing to stretch on. You can do cardio or strength training with your body weight. It’s also easy to travel with. It’s hard to have an excuse at this point to not work out because there are so many things you can do.

Simple but sexy, the California One Piece in Coral Matte, is great for the active woman or for the classic in mind. Shelf bra construction with a criss cross strap back for support. more...The image was snapped in the Hamptons, per the geotag. It appeared to be from a recent photoshoot with Hamptons Magazine, though Kate labeled it an “outtake”.
She was seen standing on a beautiful beach with her bare feet in the sand and propped one leg up on her toes. Her head was turned to the side to meet the camera’s lens, which she gazed back at with an intense and sultry stare.
Naturally, the Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition model and 2020 cover girl was clad in a sexy bikini for the oceanside photoshoot that perfectly suited her slender frame. She rocked a navy blue two-piece that included a sports bra-style top with a low scoop neckline that showed off her ample cleavage. It fit snugly over her chest and cut off right at her rib cage, offering a good look at her flat tummy and abs as well.
The bottom half of Kate’s look boasted a high-rise style that was belted around her hips to accentuate her tiny waist. It also featured a high-cut design that showed off her curvy hips and shapely thighs.
Though it appeared to be a bright and sunny day for a photo op on the beach, there also appeared to be a slight breeze, as Kate’s blond locks were blown messily around her face as she worked the camera. Luckily, the Canadian beauty was prepared for the chilly fall weather with an extra layer to add over her swimsuit. She sported a khaki-colored trench coat with plaid lining but opted to leave it completely open to give her online audience a full look at her phenomenal figure. She also teased them with a glimpse of her toned shoulders by letting the garment slide down her arms in an alluring manner.

Kate’s light brown bikini flattered her slim physique, and it included a strapless top and matching bottoms with a thong cut in the back and thick straps.

Culpo’s rookie issue in 2017, titled In Her Own Words, showed the model wearing nothing but paint as a way to take ownership of the insecurities she felt stifled her before the shoot. This will reportedly be Culpo’s first time rocking bikini looks for the magazine, which she admitted she was nervous about.
SI reports that Culpo shared with People in January 2018 that she enlisted the help of Hannah Ferguson for her first rookie shoot and it gave her the confidence to do a second.
“I asked Hannah what I should do. She said, ‘practice in the mirror, practice all of your poses, have 10 poses ready, know your angles,’ and I did exactly that and it helped,” Olivia shared with People.
“I actually did a test shoot on my iPhone with someone that I work with. We looked insane. We were on the beach with the iPhone doing a test shoot. People were just staring at us.”
The influencer will be joined by models Danielle Herrington, Lindsey Vonn, and Kate Bock for the publication’s annual spread. The Inquisitr previously shared that model-turned-mogul Tyra Banks will appear on the issue’s cover, which will be her first swimsuit cover since retiring from modeling in the mid-2000s. Model Camille Kostek and soccer star Alex Morgan will also grace the cover the outlet’s annual swimsuit edition.

Kate shared a pic wherein she could be seen posing with Love, who was recently invited to speak on the Today Show on NBC where he talked about the importance of mental health, as well as his new not-for-profit organization, the Kevin Love Fund.
Although the couple has been together for many years now, they are in a long-distance relationship because they both live in different cities; Kate lives in New York and Kevin in Cleveland.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Kate talked about how they make the relationship work, despite the distance and their busy schedules.
“Luckily, it’s not very far. Cleveland is only like an hour-long flight from New York. So, I go back and forth between here and there and jobs, and then sometimes meet him on the road if it makes sense, so I see him pretty often even though we live in different cities and both travel for work. We make it work, so that’s kind of fun.”

The 26-year-old, who has appeared in Sports Illustrated's annual Swimsuit Issue every year since 2013 when she was named Rookie of the Year, models a new capsule womenswear collection that features designs for every one of the 30 teams in the league.
Kate actually played baseball herself when she was younger however, revealing in an interview with Ocean Drive that she always considered herself more sporty than beautiful when she was in high school.
"I never thought of myself as beautiful," she said. "I was really into sports. I played baseball and soccer and I was a swimmer and I played field hockey.
"I never really thought about modeling, and then when I was discovered, I was like, "Oh cool, someone might think that of me."'
Kate's latest campaign allows her to show off both her natural beauty and her love of sports, with the images showing her modeling an array of different sportswear styles, from classic hoodies to funkier sweater dresses to casual tank tops.
Although Kate is now a seasoned Sports Illustrated favorite, this is the first time she has starred as the face of a sportswear campaign
