Kelly Ripa is resistance running in honor of the New York City Marathon – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the talk show host shows off her amazing body in a sports bra and leggings during a workout session with her trainer. "Congratulations to all the @nycmarathon runners today! Here we are all individually practicing because hey, you never know ??♂️," she captioned the Instagram clip.
Kelly works with nutritionist, Dr. Daryl Gioffre, he designed a healthy, nurturing, and sustainable diet for his star client. She starts with a morning cocktail – a scoop of his Acid-Kicking Green powder (dehydrated greens) from his brand Alkamind with a glass of water. "You have to eat your greens," he tells E! News. "But when you get it in the form of a green juice, what's happening is you're getting all those nutrients into the greens and you're getting a huge amount of greens in just eight-ounce servings."
Ripa enjoys the perks of coffee. She blends hers with grass-fed butter and Acid-Kicking Coffee Alkalizer. Why should you enjoy a cup in the morning? There are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation, explains Cleveland Clinic. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
Kelly also makes sure to get her healthy fats in. For lunch she makes a salad with microgreens, sprouts, avocado and raw nuts, full of lots of healthy fats. She also snacks on raw nuts throughout the day. "Instead of going for the unhealthy snack, she's always prepared," Gioffre says. "And that's the big mantra: 'Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.'"
Ripa also makes sure to eat enough protein. Her dinner is usually another salad with steamed vegetables or some sauteed vegetables or some grilled greens, he says. "And she likes to have the vegetables in season because they're just better for you. And then she'll have a protein and that could be grilled tofu or tahini or some fish protein."
Kelly doesn't neglect her sweet tooth. However, she choose healthy options. One of her go-to desserts is a avocado chocolate mousse, made with avocados, pure vanilla extract, raw cacao, dates and sea salt. She also likes chocolate chia pudding for fiber.

more...Shortly after Salma Hayek proudly embraced her white hair in a vacation swimsuit snap, the actress celebrated turning 58 with a “birthday bikini roundup.” Vacation selfies are a staple post for the star, so it only makes sense that she marked the special occasion with the best of the best.
All of the snaps featured Hayek on a yacht lounging, captaining, and sunbathing in various swimwear, some joined by stunning sunsets. They may have even been taken on her most recent vacation because, in the caption, she specifically noted that, “p.s. none of these are throwbacks.”
That disclaimer is likely a reference to the fact that Hayek posts swimsuit photos year-round, and not all of them are shared in real time. “[Followers are] going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day. No, they’re all from the same location,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. She added that she finds the process of posing and sharing “liberating.” “I’m glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it,” she said.
That’s clearly still the case—and fans enjoy the photos just as much as she does. They showered her post with love and congratulations. “Happy birthday hermana! ❤️❤️❤️??,” one person commented. “58 couldn’t look better. Happy birthday mama ❤️,” another added. “Happy birthday you stunning creature,” someone else wrote.
To Hayek’s surprise, she has come to know aging as “beautiful,” she told Glamour in February 2023. She thought “everything” would have been different about the process. “I thought getting older meant I wasn’t going to work; I’m working,” she said. “I thought getting older maybe meant that you’re not in love anymore; I’m in love. I don’t feel that I lost my flexibility or my agility or even my strength. I do have to say that I have found it beautiful, getting older with someone.”
And, so far, she hasn’t turned to cosmetic procedures like Botox to maintain her youth—instead, she is faithful to micro current devices and meditation. “Just the meditation itself …sometimes when I’m doing it, people tell me when I come out of the room, ‘Oh my God, you look 20 years old,’” she told Kelly Ripa on her Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast last year. And what fine lines Hayek does have, she happily shows off—for instance, in a close-up, rolled-out-of-bed selfie like the one she shared in June 2023, which she captioned: “Me waking up and counting how many white hairs and wrinkles have crashed the party this morning.”
From swimsuit shots to candid makeup-free selfies, we can always count on Hayek to keep it real. We hope she had a happy birthday!

In an episode of Harper's Bazaar The Food Diaries, Kelly detailed everything she eats in a day, starting with a glass of water and "something called Get Off Your Acid. Daily Greens, which is spirulina spinach, kale, all ground to a powder that you mix into water and it is for alkalining, your digestive system," she said. She follows that with a large coffee and her morning supplements, "which is my foundational vitamin, my multivitamin, ginger, and my probiotic."
After hosting her morning show, she will have "a green apple cut up" and blends them with two tablespoons of almond butter and a teaspoon of cinnamon. "And I eat that like a porridge, if you will, and that is my first chewable food of the day," she says.
"I work out seven days a week. My body wants to work out," Kelly said. She usually watches a show while she works out on the treadmill.
Kelly moves on to "what I consider brunch, if you will, because I eat lunch at such a weird hour," she says. "It's really like a breakfast, lunch. I have a big salad of micro greens with avocado and toasted nuts on top. Sometimes I have pine nuts, sometimes I have pumpkin seeds, sometimes I have walnuts, sometimes I have cashews, whatever I'm in the mood for." She added that for two years avocado toast "was pretty much the foundation of my diet, and I had it with just about every meal. Sometimes I would fry an egg and add that on top. Sometimes a piece of cheese would accompany the avocado toast, but the avocado toast was a real staple of my diet," she added.
"For dinner, I have usually a smaller version of the same salad that I had for lunch, and then I have either mixed grilled greens or whatever's in season," she continued. "I try to eat whatever is in season in terms of vegetables, and then I have usually some sort of plant protein mixed in there, like a grilled tofu. Sometimes I'll have a fried tofu, sometimes I have some sort of tahini."
As for snacks, "I have handfuls of nuts, lots of raw cashews, lots of raw almonds, lots of raw pistachios," says Kelly. "I never eat more than a handful, but I have several handfuls a day. I try not to have that many cheat meals because cheat meals lead to a cheat lifestyle at my age, and this is at my age, so if you are younger, enjoy that aspect of your life. But at my age now, I find that it takes too much effort to get ready, so I just stay ready if that makes any sense."
On occasion Kelly will eat cake. "On my birthday, will I have cake? Of course, I'm not a monster. At Christmas, do I eat cookies? Yes, I'm a human being. But in general terms, I try not to cheat too much. What I will indulge in is a delicious chocolate covered almond or chocolate covered cashew," she said, "so I still feel like there's something healthy in there. I also have been making a chia pudding, like delicious chocolate chia pudding."
Kelly ends the day "right before bed" with a nightcap. "I have a giant ginger turmeric tea." She then takes her evening supplements and "I truly fall asleep within 25 minutes."

In a social media snap shared over the holidays, the television personality flaunts her slender legs in a t-shirt and swimsuit bottoms while rocking a festive t-shirt with her husband, Mark Consuelos. "Big Nick Energy ? Christmas 2023," she captioned the hilarious Instagram snap.
Kelly exercises every day that ends in Y. "I work out seven days a week. And I try to workout an hour and a half a day, no matter what — whether I'm working or not," she told Yahoo's In the Know. "If I'm working, maybe I'll start it a little bit later or a little bit earlier, depending on what day of the week it is. But I am very religious about my fitness."
Kelly's workout of choice is dance-inspired. "I think that energy begets energy," she told ITK. "There are people that say, 'You must hate working out!' It's going to be so hard to push your way through [with that attitude], and I love working out. But it's like developing a love for anything: You have to really practice it to love it. And, so, I found that years ago I really figured out that the more energy I put into the gym or left on the dance floor, the more energy came back to me." In one of her most recent posts she shared her dance workout moves from one of her favorite workouts, AKT. "Dancing through 2022," she captioned it.
Kelly quit drinking in 2017, maintaining that it contributes to her "healthy lifestyle." "We did both quit drinking almost three years ago. Not that we were sitting around drinking day and night, but I think that there is something about like clean living—maybe that's what did it. Maybe that's the difference," she told Parade about her and Mark's joint decision to put down the bottle.
Kelly follows a high-alkaline diet, telling People that the low-acid meal plan is "responsible for [her] not being in pain" as it is anti-inflammatory. "I actually eat much more on this cleanse than I do in my actual life, but it's what you eat and how you eat it."
In addition to dancing four times a week Kelly also does SoulCycle twice, she told People. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
While Kelly isn't strictly plant-based when it comes to her diet, she keeps animal products to a minimum. "I like to drink coffee. I occasionally will have fish. The alkaline diet is primarily a vegan diet, but I like cream in my coffee. I like to have a glass of wine. So I don't adhere to it strictly, but when I do a cleanse, it will be seven days, and then I go back to my normal life. But my normal life, like I said, is not that different than the alkaline cleanse," she told People.
