Barbara Palvin is getting her wings! The Sports Illustrated Swimsuitmodel officially announced that she is the newest Victoria’s Secret Angel.
“I don’t know where to begin but I’ll try,” Barbara wrote in an emotional caption on Instagram. “I never thought it would happen and it has exceeded all my expectations... Thank you for believing in me. There were times where I let my own thoughts hold me back and it was a hard climb away from those but my family, my team, Ed, and everyone at VS they were always there to support me and uplift me. I am proud to represent Hungary, and most importantly, all of you in this new chapter of my life!”
Barbara made her first appearance in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2012, and then returned to the coveted catwalk this past November. She has also shot several campaigns for the brand throughout her career. She is the first Hungarian model to become a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
In an interview with People magazine, Barbara said becoming an Angel is “the ultimate career high!”
“When I was 13, I saw the VS Fashion Show and said, ‘One day I will get there,’ Barbara told People. “Three or four years later, I shot with Victoria’s Secret PINK for the first time. Now, I feel like I was destined to do this. Victoria’s Secret caught me at the perfect time, because I’m finally happy with myself and my body.”

First, let it be known that water itself will never make your period disappear. “It doesn’t matter if you’re in water or on the top of a mountain or in a ditch, your period still comes,” says Michele Haughton, MD, an ob/gyn at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian.
But getting into the water can make it seem like your period goes away. That's all thanks to the pressure of the water surrounding, it can counteract the force of gravity that helps blood flow out of your body. There’s no biological magic going on here, it’s all physics. “When you’re in water there’s some opposite pressure happening,” says Dr. Haughton.
And, while we're on the subject of periods in water, there’s absolutely no chance that this tiny amount of menstrual blood will attract every shark in the ocean (or even just one of them), so let’s put that myth to rest right now. “Whenever I hear the shark myth I think, ‘How much do you people think you’re bleeding?’ It’s not like you’re waving around a bloody arm,” says Dr. Haughton.
Even if your period tends to be light, tampons and menstrual cups can save you when you exit the water. “The second you come out of the water your period will start flowing again,” says Dr. Haughton. “And then you’ll have a nice stain on your bathing suit.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed she has "cut dairy and eggs" from her diet to help clear her adult acne.
The 31-year-old supermodel has always been honest about her battle with spots and to combat her breakouts she has altered her diet to prevent her from getting oily skin.
Sharing her skincare secrets on her YouTube channel Rose Inc, she said: 'So I get a lot of people asking me what my skin type is, well on a good day, I would probably have just a couple of spots, and on a bad day, it could be a lot. I've always had a little bit of acne because it's something my mum had. It's something I'm always trying to better so I'm quite diligent about my skincare routine.'
She added: 'I have oily skin and so that's always something I'm trying to keep in check and use the right products to support that and also sometimes I have to cut things out of my diet. So currently I'm cutting out eggs and dairy which is really boring because they're all my favorite things, but there is nothing better than having good skin.'
Rosie also admitted that to maintain the best complexion she can, she always makes sure to remove her make-up when she is at home.
