Pole Vaulter Alysha Newman shared a set of photos in a bikini

Alysha Newman is a powerhouse in the world of pole vaulting, recently earning a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The Canadian athlete has also claimed podium spots at the Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, and Pan American U20 Championships. As her career soars to new heights, Newman remains focused on pushing her limits.

A few weeks ago, she gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her training regimen on Instagram, sharing a set of photos captioned, "Here we go again! My goal this year on the PV runaway is to get faster & to jump high asf!??" Her blend of optimism and determination has been key to her success, as she channels her energy into building strength, speed, and technique for future victories.

Newman shared some of her training secrets in an interview with Muscle & Fitness. "I think one thing for me to persevere in the past was literally not focusing on what I did wrong but focusing on the positives and my strengths," Newman said. "As you know with athletes, we have this timeline in being our best self. I worked on all my weaknesses, and I've gotten weaknesses to turn into strengths, but this late in my career — I probably have two more Olympics in me — there's no point in trying to fix that because I already have the habits. Now, we'll focus on what I'm great at."

Newman talked about her favorite workouts in her Muscle & Fitness interview. "We do very elongated exercises," she says. "Not crunches or any of that. It's rope climbing while upside down. We're doing pole-rope climbing, wall bar where you're laying on your back and lifting your legs up but we don't crunch at the hips; we crunch at the shoulders. When we talk about abdominal strength in the pole vault, it's literally from the chin to the pelvic region. So, it's our lats, core, obliques and all that stuff is activated while we're doing core work. Some other amazing stuff that we do is we hold med balls over our heads and do a lot of hurdle walking. So, heavy weight above our heads for strength and balance, and it also activates the core."

Newman tells Muscle & Fitness that she does a variety of different things to keep herself in shape. "I'm really only doing technicals twice a week. The other four days are usually plyo, sprinting, tempo running, weightroom training, and med-ball work. You don't want to overtrain one thing at all times. You have to adapt, be in different scenarios and situations to hit every single core muscle that you need. I do watch film but doing actual pole vault work — I'm probably only doing four to six hours a week out of my 30 hours of training."

Newman tells Muscle & Fitness that sprints are a big part of being a successful pole vaulter. "To start, you must be a good sprinter. You have to be fast but it's like a head-to-toe thing. A lot of gymnasts turn into pole vaulters just because we get that body awareness at such a young age and we're able to be aware in the air when you have the pole, and you connect the neck with the pole. Sprinting and running technique are always number one and headed into gymnastics, it's body awareness and body strength. We're like an all-around, head-to-toe athlete."

Newman makes sure to eat healthy. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. "Training at high intensities doesn't only require physical and mental strength but internal??‍♀️?In order for me to have the level of energy I need, to get up and practice everyday, I have to fuel my body in the most nutritious ways. I'm selective and ensure my food choices will be ones that benefit me, not hurt me. During competitions, especially for upcoming Paris Olympics, I go gluten-free and dairy-free to keep my body in the upmost condition ??"

Desi Johnson shows off her strong and fit body

Desi Johnson is getting her body ready to perform – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the bobsledding babe shows off her strong body in a sports bra and shorts while on the track. "Summer prep for a winter sport," she writes in the Instagram caption. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Desi diets – not just to lose weight but to feel better. "I need to lose over 6kgs so we are going on a cut. This is to get at comp weight for competing overseas. I'm not only doing the diet for weight loss but to clear my acne, clean my gut and fix allergies! I haven't dieted in a while due to having such an unhealthy relationship with dieting & coaches in the past. That's why I will document my whole journey for you guys!" she wrote in a post. She gave an update during week 4, revealing that the "process is moving along well. Im not going to say it's easy, but I'm going to tell you the things I have noticed since being on a whole food metabolic balance diet," she said. "My sleep is so much better! I can fall asleep quicker and stay asleep all night. My skin and allergies are starting to improve.

I feel like my body is not holding as much inflammation," she continued. "Now I'm not only just on the diet to loose weight. Even though the main objective is to get to a specific weight for my sport. I am also doing it for my overall health. Think of it as a reset for my gut and body."

"Want to challenge yourself, just do this," Desi captioned a post, revealing her ladder workout:

As part of her "sunday reset," Desi alternates between soaking in the hot tub and cold plunging. Soaking in hot water helps improve sleep, minimizes anxiety and depression, and one recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits. There is limited research supporting the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increased focus, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes basic post-sport recovery.

Desi also takes saunas. "Spa dates," she captioned this post. Should you take a dry sauna? While some claim the health benefits of saunas are plentiful, including detoxification, increased metabolism, weight loss, increased blood circulation, pain reduction, antiaging, skin rejuvenation, improved cardiovascular function, improved immune function, improved sleep, stress management, and relaxation, there isn't a lot of research backing up the claims.

In her latest post Desi goes running. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.

Even when she's not training, she loves to swim and finds peace near the water. On a few pictures on Instagram, she captioned them "not far from the water even on my afternoon off ???." According to Better Health, "swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water."

She's proud and thankful for the people that believe in her. Lolo Jones showed off her amazing body

Lolo Jones is an extremely successful athlete. She has competed in the Olympics for both hurdles and bobsled. Jones has also appeared on several reality shows. In 2014, she competed on Dancing With The Stars. In 2019, she finished 3rd/4th on the second season of Celebrity Big Brother. Lastly, Jones has appeared on multiple seasons of The Challenge. In a recent Instagram post, Jones showed off her body transformation. She captioned it, "Body transformation. when I run track I usually have a very flat butt. I've gotten notoriously teased for it. but REVENGE BODY COMING THRU MAN BOBSLED MAKING ME THICK. Love this for me."

Jones shared the lifestyle changes she made in the caption of her Instagram post. "I gained 13 pounds of muscles. Increased (clean) calories. Stopped running as much. Increased time in weight room. Jones makes sure to eat a healthy diet. One thing she enjoys are protein shakes. "To kind of make ends meet while I trained, I worked at a gym, making protein shakes," Jones told TODAY. "And little did I know … it's key for an athlete to have a protein shake within 15 to 20 minutes after a workout… actually love the protein shakes because you can make them a million different ways."

In her TODAY interview, Jones shared some of the ingredients she likes to put in her protein shakes. One thing she likes to include in them is spinach. "The key about spinach is, they say you can add it to any protein shake and you won't tell the difference," Jones explained. "You can taste it a little bit. They lied, but it's really healthy for you."

Jones revealed in the caption of this Instagram post that she wants to be an inspiration for other women. "I've gotten so much hate over my career. RETIRE ALREADY. WHY IS SHE STILL GOING? JUST STOP. 'Why' so the next gen can see their careers don't have to end at 27. Why? So people stop looking at social media posts telling them their life ends at 40. You can do great things at any age. I've broken a lot of records over my career. I broke the American indoor record. I broke the world championship indoor record. I became the first female Hurdler to defend her world championship title. I'm the only female athlete that has won a world championships and Bobsled and also in track and field, but this is the achievement that I most proud of. It shows I never gave up."

Jones likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She is seen using a barbell in this Instagram post. Jones captioned it, "Life decisions. Been off all social to figure it all out. What am about to share I have kept bottled for years. How do I want to end my 25 year pro career in sport? I was asked to come back to bobsled for years but how it went down last Olympic cycle I was deeply hurt. I saw some pretty unfair stuff happen and that's a big reason why I went back to track to show I still fast enough to make the Olympic trials for Track and field."

I'm on my way to my first high altitude training camp where I'll join an international 800m group to train alongside great athletes where I can learn a lot. I'm super excited for this new challenge and what it will bring ✨ (I'm also going to run the 400m but focus more on the endurance part in training for now) Let this journey begin .. xoxo," she said on Instagram.

Bella Hadid Brings Summer Back With a Bikini photos

Temperatures may be dropping for those of us in the northern hemisphere, but that’s not going to stop Bella Hadid from reliving a summer fantasy.

Fresh off a trip to Dubai—where the supermodel launched the grand reopening of Chopard’s Dubai Mall boutique—Hadid shared several sun-kissed photos via Instagram.

The first snap captures Hadid reclining on a bamboo lounge chair in an outdoor cabana, looking bronzed and tanned in a black triangle bikini. The top has razor-thin spaghetti straps and black circular rings attached to the center, while the bottoms feature a high-rise silhouette. She accessorized sparingly, wearing a simple gold chain pendant necklace and pulling her hair back in a messy bun.

Elsewhere in the post, the Chopard ambassador soaked up some sun while wearing a blue gingham bikini top from Frankies Bikinis with navy-blue trim. She added more gold accents to the look in the form of a heart-shaped pendant on a chain necklace and tapered hoop earrings. She repped Frankies Bikinis yet again in another photo, opting for the brand's black-and-white checkered halter bikini top.

For a cover-up, she wore a backless halter-neck minidress emblazoned with a colorful multiprint pattern that includes white polka dots on a gray background, red roses, and green and pink stripes.

Besides hitting the beach, Hadid made several fashionable appearances in Dubai.

At the launch party for Chopard’s Ice Cube collection, she pulled a glittery gold embellished gown from Elie Saab’s Spring 2004 runway show. The ethereal look featured tendrils of fabric draping down her shoulders and a train that cascaded behind her as she ascended a staircase.

At another event, Hadid opted for a more low-key look, wearing a vintage Thierry Mugler button-down dress, which she cinched at the waist with a massive black leather belt with an oversize silver buckle.

Surfer/Model Anastasia Ashley flaunts her bikini body

Anastasia Ashley is a trailblazer in professional surfing and a well-known model, blending her athletic prowess with her striking presence. Surfing is one of the main ways Ashley stays in shape. She talked about the health benefits of the sport in an interview with Cosmopolitan. "Surfing is a full-body workout. When you're riding the board and balancing, you use your legs for balance and stability. And because you're always squatting, which is an uncomfortable and abnormal body position, it challenges your butt and legs."

Ashley shared some of her favorite workouts with Cosmopolitan. She says that she likes to walk on both the treadmill and stairmaster. "I'm in the gym usually every day and do a lot of specific exercises for legs to keep them strong. While cardio alone won't keep you toned, I walk on a treadmill at a high incline, climb on the StairMaster, and do lots of quick intervals. With the incline walking, I'll do 12 to 15 incline at a 3 to 4 mile-per-hour pace. Even if you jog or run for five minutes on a super high incline, it's still pretty hard!

For Ashley, training means doing a lot of different workouts. She shared her routine in her Cosmopolitan interview. "I'll usually do between 30 and 45 minutes of cardio, and 30 to 45 minutes of strength training, plyometrics, Pilates, and stretching. A good playlist makes your workout go by faster. It's painful to be in the gym without music. I literally can't even!"

Ashley shared how she warms up before competitions in her Cosmopolitan interview. "Before an event I try to get my heart rate up by jumping around, running in place, and stretching. I don't want to run up and down the beach because when I go into a heat, it's 15 to 20 minutes of nonstop intensity. You don't want to go into that tired. I just want to get the blood flowing to get ready. I'm not dancing in my mind; I'm in my own world. I just bounce around to get loose. I just kind of vibe."

Ashley does a lot of lower body workouts to keep herself in shape. One thing she likes to do are squats. Ashley shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them on a bosu ball. Piedmont states that squats are very beneficial. "Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area."

Michelle Randolph is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at Landman – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the actress and sister of Bachelor star Cassie Randolph flaunts her amazing body in a two-piece exercise set. "A wrap on landman. What a colored collision— exhilarating, fervent, tender. I feel so humbled to hold these special moments, and I wish I could pause time to relish each one. If this were just a fever dream, I'd do it all over again. Buzzing. Love you all, see you soon," she captioned the Instagram post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? To keep her mental health in check, Michelle limits her social media. "I do my best to stay away from it. I think it's easy to get trapped in reading the comments, and wanting to know what people say, but I think it's better not to because you can't go back and change it. Once you do a scene and finish it and release it, the audience is going to make it into what it is," she tells Schön!

For all of her Yellowstone projects, Michelle learned how to ride horses. "Montana was an adjustment, but I think we were so present and busy the whole time that I just fell in love with it completely. I mean, we were riding horses on our off days and spending time together," she said. "As an adult, you feel like everything you do has to feel like it's up to a certain level of productivity. That was the nice thing about learning to ride because it felt productive since it was for a job, but at the same time it was really rewarding. The transition from beginner to intermediate – or actually I don't know how good I am at riding [laughs] – but it was so clear to see the difference. And watching all of my new friends improve too was amazing.

It was just so much fun too. Even on the days after the two weeks of cowboy camp when the wranglers came in to shoot for the next five months, we would go in and ride. We all really fell in love with it!" she continued. "I wasn't nervous because I love animals, but I was nervous because I hadn't done it before and a lot is about technique and the more time you spend on a horse, the better you get. A lot is also about the familiarity of it and getting the rhythm and learning your specific horse. I was so excited! We were all like little kids at summer camp!"

While Michelle loves the "hustle and bustle" of cities, she is "happiest, not to sound cliché, but when I'm in nature," she says. "It just feels like you're taking a step back and the real priorities in life are health and wellness and you can meditate and not hear cars honking [laughs]! I do think it's a balance. I could spend 6 months in Montana and then I need 6 months in the city too. I'd like to think of myself as a well-rounded person in that regard."

You can often find Michelle holding onto a glass of red wine. "Red wine, in moderation, has long been thought of as heart healthy," says the Mayo Clinic. Another favorite drink of Michelle's? Coffee. Science continues to prove that drinking coffee is great for your health. Sofía Vergara shared a throwback bikini photo from the ’90s after saying she is “kind of single.”

In the Instagram pic, the “Modern Family” alum stunned in a green bikini decorated with black rings on the front as she posed between palm trees in Miami.

Her honey-blond locks were styled in waves and blew gracefully behind her. She wore a natural makeup look with a nude lip gloss.

“tbt Miami,” Vergara, 52, simply captioned Thursday’s post.

The Emmy nominated actress shared the eye-catching snapshot after giving her vague relationship status update in an interview with Us Weekly published Thursday.

“I was talking yesterday about [dating] because now I’m single so … kind of single,” she said.

She did not comment further on her relationship status but said she thinks New York City has a “a more diverse group of people” to date than Los Angeles.

Vergara was linked to orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman in October 2023 when they were spotted grabbing dinner at Funke restaurant in Los Angeles.

Though the pair kept their romance relatively quiet, the “Griselda” star publicly professed her love for the “handsome” doctor after she underwent knee surgery in April.

“If u ever get a mayor [sic] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night!!!!” she captioned a photo of a smiling Saliman, who was standing next to her while wearing blue scrubs.

“Luv u Dr @jdsaliman,” she added with a heart emoji.

Vergara and Saliman began dating publicly about two months after she and her husband of seven years, Joe Manganiello, announced their divorce.

She later claimed they ended their relationship because she was done having children, but Manganiello saw kids in his future.

However, the “True Blood” star, 47, told Men’s Journal in August that the explanation was not true.

He has since moved on with 35-year-old actress and TV reporter Caitlin O’Connor.

The pair made their red carpet debut in December 2023 and went Instagram-official in February.

It’s unclear if “kind of single” Vergara plans to date in the near future, but she previously discussed her philosophy when it comes to dating and love.

“I mean, it’s already hard for a fifty-something-year-old woman to find someone. I’m not going to be now picky about, ‘Oh, he can only be a doctor. Oh, he can only be an astronaut,” she told People in May.

She added, “You need to always give the best that you can, be the best person to the other person.”

Cobra Kai Stunner Rayna Vallandinghamv shows off her amazing body

Rayna Vallandingham is celebrating the final drop of this season's Cobra Kai episodes in her workout gear. In a new social media post the actress, who plays the scene-stealing antagonist/influencer Zara Malik, shows off her amazing body in a two-piece martial arts set. "today is the dayyyy ?," she captioned the Instagram snaps and video.

Rayna has been doing taekwondo since she was 2 years old and earned her first black belt at 6. "In the very beginning, my parents put me in the sport because I was just really shy, and I think they could tell that I needed something," says Vallandingham, who lives and trains in Los Angeles. "Immediately, I just loved it. I felt at home, and every single day, instead of watching Dora, I wanted to go to the dojo," she told Well + Good.

Rayna maintains that consistency – at the gym and the martial arts studio – is the key to success. "It is a way of life," she says. "It's not only teaching your body movements and being in synchronicity with your body, but also just like the mental aspect of it."

According to Rayna strength, flexibility, and power are key. "Of the three, I think strength and flexibility are the top two," Vallandingham says. "We used to have people stand on my legs and force my knees to come down in butterfly stretch," she says. "I have permanent damage to my body—I have tendonitis [because of this]."

Vallandingham strength trains, focusing on supersets, doing two moves back-to-back that target the same muscle groups in order to double down on their gains. One of her favorite exercises s is a goblet squat. She stands with her feet shoulder-width apart, fold forward until she can slide her palms underneath her soles (you could also hold your ankles or calves), then bends her knees, lowering her butt toward the floor while lifting her chest, coming into a deep squat. She'll bend and extend her legs several times in this position. Then, it's on to the main event, holding a weight in her hands while bending down into a deep squat. "I love utilizing a Bosu ball—they're pretty much in every single gym," she adds.

Rayna also does a stretch, starting by lying on the floor with her legs up the wall and then allowing them to open out into a side split. "I let gravity do its work because that's my body telling me, okay, this is where we're at," she says. "My hips are opening on their own, and I'm not having to force anything."

‘Selling Sunset’ alum Christine Quinn ditches bikini top on Mexican vacation

An unbothered Christine Quinn ditched her swimsuit top while vacationing at the luxurious VidantaWorld resort in Mexico.

On Monday, the “Selling Sunset” alum shared a video compilation documenting her relaxing getaway, which included sunbathing in a thong bikini bottom.

“You call me a like it’s a bad thing..,” she cheekily wrote in the caption.

She gave more glimpses into her vacay on Tuesday by sharing a carousel of picturesque snaps.

In one photo, the former reality star, 36, posed in a gold thong sans her top while lounging on the beach and showing off her golden tan.

Quinn also left little to the imagination as she covered her face with a book and covered her chest with her arm.

Later, the “How to Be a Boss B*tch” author posed in a green bikini while standing on a swing set over a shallow swimming pool at the resort.

Quinn — who is currently going through a divorce from Christian Richard — also enjoyed her tropical vacation by taking a walk on the beach, soaking in the hot tub and sipping a beverage at the bar.

It’s unclear who the mother of one was on the getaway with since she was solo in all of her posts.

Her trip to Mexico comes three months after she shaded her ex — whom she married in December 2019 — during a summer vacation.

“Remember ladies, while you’re healing he’s balding,” she captioned a reel of herself posing in a bikini on a yacht in August.

In March, Richard was arrested for domestic violence for allegedly throwing a bag of glass at Quinn.

The former Cisco software engineer then filed for divorce from Quinn in April and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

The docs obtained by Page Six also revealed that Richard is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their son, whom they welcomed in 2021.

Shortly after, Quinn — who is also seeking full custody — claimed Richard has “perpetrated acts of domestic violence and child abuse against [her] son and [her].”

“I reported these acts of abuse to law enforcement because they were true and because I feared for our safety,” she said in court documents filed in April.

Tammy relies on strength training workouts. "I used to work out a lot more before having my kids but currently, I work out 3-4 times a week," Tammy told Women's Best. "I find this is enough for me right now because I've been working out consistently for years and I know my body and when to increase or decrease my calories to help with my goals." What motivates her to exercise isn't just her body. "I honestly feel better when I get my workout in, less sluggish and I find it easier to keep up with my kids," she told New Idea about one of her motivations to sweat. Disha has been on a career high recently, especially with the release of Kanguva, where she stars alongside Suriya and Bobby Deol. Directed by Siva, Kanguva has been performing steadily at the box office, registering impressive numbers on its opening weekend. According to Sacnilk, the film earned around Rs 24 crore on its first day and added approximately Rs 5.54 crore on the second day, bringing its total to Rs 29.54 crore (nett) in India across all languages.

In Kanguva, Disha plays a fierce bounty hunter who teams up with Suriya’s character, a warrior named Kanguva, as well as his modern-day counterpart, a bounty hunter named Francis. Bobby Deol also appears in the film as a formidable warrior, and together, they bring an intense action-packed storyline that spans two timelines.

Kansas City heiress Gracie Hunt flaunts her ripped abs in a bikini

The oldest Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt took a nice little mid-week vacation to warm Mexico before the team plays in frigid Buffalo this weekend.

The 25-year-old Miss Kansas first showed off a dramatic makeover with new a hairdo in a colorful dress, as well as some of the beautiful scenery Cabo San Lucas has to offer.

Now, the viral daughter of team owner Clark Hunt and Tavia Hunt stripped down to hit the water in a boat, wearing short shorts and a sheer bikini top while revealing some insane abs.

Gracie captioned the posts, “Windows through the sea ?? I hope your weekend has windows of beauty as well ?.”

She went on to show off the famous El Arco de Cabo San Lucas for the windows she’s referring to.

Simply beautiful. And so is that scenery.

Gracie has been super busy crushing her best fit of the season a couple of weeks ago, and modeling her own NFL clothing line in “Wear By Erin Andrews.”

She also has a dating life now with boyfriend Cody Keith, who she’s been seen slaying her pickleball outfits with.

The 9-0 Chiefs have a monster game Sunday vs. the 8-2 Buffalo Bills. Gracie certainly will be dressed a little warmer than she is here in Mexico, that’s for sure.
