Brie Larson is posing in her wetsuit. In a recent social media post the 34-year-old actress shows off her incredibly fit figure while swimming in what looks like a cave. "Always practicing my posture," she captioned the Instagram photo. "Love you," commented one of her followers, while another called her a "Goddess."
Brie understands the importance of stretching. "Stretching is a huge part of exercise," she explained in a YouTube video. "This is great for mornings, before workouts, as you're winding down your day, or, if you're somebody like me who's spending the majority of their time at a desk looking at Zoom all day, it's good to incorporate a couple of stretches and be kind to yourself," she added. "Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints," says Harvard Health. "Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage."

While Brie focuses on fueling her body with the food it needs to sustain her hardcore workouts, she does allow herself cheat meals. Some of her favorites are soft pretzels and fried mozzarella sticks. "Ice cream, anyone?" she captioned a snap.
One way that Brie keeps exercise exciting is by trying unconventional workouts. "Even after years of training, I still try to find ways to get out of working out. Luckily @risemovement keeps me motivated by prefacing a new move with 'this will be fun,'" she captioned one of her Instagram posts. "My #AntiHero trait? Refusing conventional workouts," she captioned a video of herself pushing a cart with a lot of weight.
"Sauna, massage, nature" are three ways that Brie gets in her self-care time, she revealed a recent photo of herself during a wellness getaway at Wilderness Reserve. "Morning sweat session 101: must include selfies," she added in another recent snap, wearing a swimsuit in the sauna.
In 2023, Brie revealed that she was dancing a whopping seven hours per day. "Every day we'd get up at 5am to get to the studio by 7:30am. There, we'd work on building a dancer. Flexibility, strength, weight transfers, spirals, breath, fascia, rooting – my experience was expanding," Brie wrote in an Instagram caption. "Thank you to my body for growing with me!" Why is dancing great for your body? Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

In the photos, Brie can be seen looking off into the distance while flashing her seriously strong abs and toned legs, before breaking into a happy dance.
“What am I dancing to? Wrong answers only,” she joked in the caption.
Brie Larson has been all about the abs-baring bikinis this summer, showing us that she works hard for her washboard core.
But it's not just about the bikinis, Brie also shares a lot about her fitness routines, and all the work she puts in to get super strong.
Brie has also kept fans in the loop when she’s achieved personal workout goals, like the time she celebrated acing one-armed pull-ups, as she should.
She's even shared some more unique fitness moments, like when she went to a pole dancing workout class, and several outdoor at-home sweat seshes.
Naturally, in order to train at her best, Brie eats well to support her strength gains. Her nutritionist, Dr. Philip Goglia, told that Brie starts her day with a teaspoon of almond butter and all-fruit jam or preserves before heading to the gym.
“The most recent science has shown that a little bit of fat and a little bit of simple sugar will actually increase intensity rate while you train early in the morning,” he said. This means, that having a quickie almond version of a PB&J helps her go harder at the gym.
After she works out, Brie will reach for eggs and protein shakes and she likes to snack on fruit between meals. For lunch, she’ll nosh on lean meats like a chicken with veggies, with two more "bridge meals" before dinner.

"Summer is here but bruises from training are in every season," she captioned the photo of herself posing in an orange and white floral bikini.
Larson's post was quickly met with commenters applauding her toned abs and complimenting her swimsuit.
In an interview in February, the actress said that while training for her role in 2019's "Captain Marvel," she pushed her body "far beyond" her expectations.
"I started this journey thinking I'll get strong and I had no idea. I went far beyond what I ever believed was possible for my body," she said. "Being able to hip thrust 400 pounds, deadlift 200 pounds, push my trainer's Jeep, I mean, it's an incredible experience to realize what's inside of you is well beyond what you knew was possible."
Brie Larson also admitted that before joining the Marvel Universe, she wasn't thrilled about going to the gym.
"I affectionately called myself 'an introvert with asthma' before I got to play Carol Danvers and I started training first out of sheer panic," she said.
"That's part of why it's no surprise to me that this character has been able to reverberate outward because she first and foremost changed my life," Larson added. "So it makes sense to me that she could change other lives too."

Brie ahead of the weekend for a one-armed pull-up, but it was CHILLAX as the star today caught rays by her pool.
Brie, 31, is prepping for another Marvel movie, and seemingly not without the superhero strength.
The vibe was quite different today, though, with a little weekend R&R seeing Larson tilting her head back and with closed eyes as she caught the sun. Sitting by a swish pool and solo, the star (set to return for The Marvels in 2022), rocked a balconette and plunging black bikini, one that showed off the rock-hard abs and the steely-strong legs.
Brie has opened up on the extreme levels of fitness required to be part of the elite MCU crew. She revealed: “A lot of training first came from the fact that I knew I was doing an action movie and I was going to have to do stunts. I didn’t know what that was, but I knew in movies like this it was going to feel like a triathlon—and I wanted to be ready for it."
Trainer Jason Walsh, meanwhile, said: “Brie worked out five days a week with me pretty much the whole nine months,"

more...The first movie of 2019 from Marvel was released March 9. Captain Marvel, directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck stars Brie Larson as the eponymous superhero, considered one of the most powerful beings in Marvel comics.
Her non-superhero name is Carol Danvers and she is half-human, half-Kree. The movie is set in the '90s and reveals to us how Captain Marvel and Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) became acquaintances, while we get to know her origins.
There is one thing about Ms Marvel that is not very acceptable in the world today - her tight-hugging 'swimsuit' like costume.
Marvel studio boss Kevin Feige wrote, "If you look at the comics, the further you go back, the less clothes Carol Danvers seems to be wearing. Oftentimes it's a one-piece bathing suit basically, with outrageous comic proportions."
We really don't want another controversy of sexualising female costumes like Justice League did with the Amazonian warriors' outfits.
Brie Larson took her Captain Marvel training very seriously, and she built up some muscles under her superhero costume. But, thankfully, she didn't have to show off those muscles in a one-piece. Her status as an Air Force pilot has definitely been featured in the trailers, and the movie even renamed her comic book cat "Goose" in honor of Top Gun.
Even without baring skin, superhero costumes are notoriously uncomfortable for women and and men. In a way, that's one good thing about modern superheroes -- it's pretty much equal opportunity when it comes to form-fitting costumes showing everything.
