Dutch model Doutzen Kroes is happiest on the dance floor with her friends, getting a solid workout while having fun. Kroes, 39, shared a picture of herself wearing an orange shirt and black workout pants, flashing the peace sign. "I love dancing. It's like my therapy being in class dancing while letting go, out of the mind and into the body and enjoying the flow!" she captioned the post.

Kroes developed a love for dance-based workouts aftering dancing in a lingerie campaign. "I was luckily introduced to Vincent Vianen who is an amazing dancer and choreographer," she told Vogue France. "When I was asked to shoot lingerie while dancing, it was something where I was really faced with my own insecurities. I am going to continue to dance because I am going to be the first one on the dance floor now. One of the most important things Vincent taught me was to let go and to not think because I overthink and when you dance you have to let go, enjoy the music and really feel it. It's really fun to bring the best out of yourself and compete with yourself and it's getting better and better."

Kroes swears by ballet workouts and Pilates for a strong core and long, lean muscles. "When I come to New York, I always try to see Mary Helen Bowers because I love to do my ballet exercises with her. When I do Ballet Beautiful, I feel muscles the day after that I didn't even know I had. It lengthens my body and changes my posture," she told Vogue France. "[Pilates] strengthens my core and because of that I feel very strong and it changed my posture. Pilates is so much harder than it looks and something Cheryl always tells me is that I have to make it look like it's easy."

Organic fruits and vegetables make up a huge part of Kroes's diet. "Every morning I mix an orange, grapefruit, and lemon with wheatgrass or green powder in the blender," she told Vogue. "I make it for my son and husband. It's very sour. It doesn't taste good at all, but I do it because it's healthy. My mom grows wheatgrass in her garden and my son goes there and he chews on it and thinks it's gum! Kids are amazing—you can teach them anything and they'll eat anything. Of course every kid is different. My son didn't have any sugar until he was 3 years old. Growing up, my mom gave me really healthy food. Everything was fresh from the garden and organic before the organic hype. I still eat mostly organic food."

Kroes was thrilled to play Amazon warrior Venelia in Wonder Woman. "I was a fan of Wonder Woman growing up—I loved the fact that she was as strong and as smart as Superman," she told Glamour. "I was able to do my own riding, and had several weeks of combat and weapons training for the scenes on the beach. I've always ridden horses, but learning to handle a sword at a full gallop was pretty intense. But I loved every minute of it!"

Kroes believes beauty and happiness are one and the same. "It sounds so clichéd but it definitely chimes from within," she told Harper's Bazaar UK. You can put as much make-up on as you want, and hide certain things, but it's cyclical. So, when you have gratitude and feel good, make-up emphasizes how you feel already. I see products as a tool to look even better and then because you look even better then you feel even better – it's a positive circle… I'm discovering by practicing gratitude – that when you feel grateful and find that in the smallest of moments you then find it over and over again. You feel happier and happier and happier – because you continue to find it everywhere. It's a really nice way of living."

Doutzen Kroes is living it up with her supermodel pals in Greece – in her swimsuit. In one of her recent social media posts the Victoria's Secret alum flaunts her incredible figure in a bathing suit while posing up a storm with Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls, photographer Jerome Duran, and husband Sunnery James. "Quality time with friends in Greece," she captioned the Instagram snaps.

Ballet Beautiful with Mary Helen Bowers is Doutzen's go-to workout. She takes the classic dance inspired class three times a week. "It keeps everything tight. I've worked out with her for two years and I really like the results," she told Vogue. "I used to always box and run, and with boxing, I would build a lot of muscle. Doutzen has an ab hack: Stomach vacuuming. "One thing that I've always done since I was younger is suck in my stomach," she told Vogue about her fitness trick. "I think that gave me [ab] muscles. I don't even think about it—like when you sit in a car, use your core to sit up straight. You can work out sitting in a car! I did leg and butt exercises during my pregnancy, but I haven't done anything since I had my baby because I don't want to damage my stomach muscles. It's better to wait a while."

The Victoria‘s Secret Angel flawless physique has helped turn her into one of the world’s most desirable catwalk models.

And Doutzen Kroes made sure it was on full display this week in a racy new shoot.

The Netherlands born model, 32, looks typically stunning in a black halter neck bikini top while reflectively gazing out at the ocean during the sweeping coastal shoot in Cuba.

Doutzen soared to fame in 2003 when she sent snap shots to Amsterdam-based modelling agency Paparazzi Model Management and despite admitting she did not take her flourishing career seriously, she went on to enjoy huge success.

As she confidently reclined on the steed, Doutzen flaunted every inch of her incredible curves in the simple two-piece – which made her body the main focus.

It is plain to see how Doutzen looks so sensational, as she previously discussed her healthy living and clean attitude towards life in an interview.

She said: ‘I biked to school every day, about 25km there and back. My mum would say, if you go on your bike it will make you stronger.

‘I think it did… In the countryside I was always outside, kind of like a tomboy… I never even thought about my looks. We didn‘t have social media so we couldn‘t look at other girls and pictures from magazines.

‘We didn‘t really buy a lot of magazines; my mum and dad would just read papers… I felt super-young coming from the north of Holland, and I went to Amsterdam only once before I went to New York City."

Doutzen previously spoke with Harper’s Bazaar, discussing her personal life and beauty tips.

She also added that the effect of practicing gratitude is that she’s felt happier and happier. With that being said, her 6.1 million Instagram fans can stay tuned to her social media for any new updates and surprises from Kroes.

That’s not all, however, as the model shared a cover of a new Vogue Polskamagazine where she was featured. The Instagram update revealed that the cover photo was of Kroes rocking a very curly hairstyle, as she smiled widely. Her eyes were completely closed in the shot. The image was also black-and-white, while the lettering was in yellow.

Ex Victoria's Secret Model Doutzen Kroes is taking extra care of her skin so she ages beautifully

Shortly after turning 34 in January, Doutzen admitted she has been taking extra care of her skin because she wants to 'age beautifully'.

She told VOGUE in March this year: 'You know, you take advantage of having anything good in your life and my skin has always been good. But obviously I’m aging and want to take care of it so I age beautifully.'

Doutzen balances her modelling feats with raising her young children Myllena Mae Gorré, four, and Phyllon Joy Gorré, eight.

The mother-of-two revealed her daughter will be completely mesmerised whenever she puts on her make-up.

However, Doutzen said Myllena has expressed her keen interest to try out make-up herself but the model assert four years old is too young.

She added: 'They do watch me put on my makeup and my daughter loves it. She wants to do it too, but she's too young. She loves it more than I do!'
