Last month the model and WaterAid ambassador revealed some of the intense workouts behind her super toned figure.

Even though the model tagged the post “summer body”, she explained that leading a healthy lifestyle required the same commitment levels all year round “because your physical and mental wellness is everything”.

Model Elyse Knowles showed it off, stripping off into a bright blue swimsuit for a photoshoot in the idyllic Whitsunday Islands.

The 27 years old blonde bombshell took to Instagram to share some snaps of herself in her bathing suit, as she climbed into a small boat in the crystal blue water.

'When your job takes you to magical places,' she captioned the stunning snaps.

'Magical fish, stingrays and lemon sharks everywhere,' Elyse added.

Elyse sits down and smiles while looking off camera, showing off a deep golden tan.

Last year, Elyse told Marie Claire that she works out five days a week and enjoys personal training sessions and HIIT classes.

'I'm really loving working out with weights at the moment. My trainer works me hard and I can still feel the burn days later… which means it's paying off,' she told the publication.

She added that her day on a plate involves eggs, spinach and goats cheese for breakfast, salad for lunch and protein and vegetables for dinner, with healthy snacks in between.

"To not feel like I need to take a photo or video of everything I do but to LIVE IT, BREATH IT and SOAK IT IN!! I am in absolute heaven in my new home! I have been so busy moving in, soaking up my new town, seeing friends, swimming and living that I haven’t needed my phone! Life is special GO LIVE IT!'

It's not the first time Elyse has spoken out against social media, telling body+soul in May last year that it perpetuates falsity.

"The common issue we have in our generation is that we are surrounded by images that aren’t real,' she told the publication.

'I've always had that dream. It is a tough one, but it's good for everyone to have big dreams,' she told the publication.

Over the years, Elyse has scored coveted local gigs with the likes of Myer, Seafolly and Bras'N'Things.

'I've made Victoria's Secret part of my mission, but if it doesn't happen you just motivate yourself to want something else,' Elyse said.

Victoria's Secret usually do casting calls for models in August, with the confirmed models taking to social media in September to announce their spot.

In 2018, there were five Australians and two New Zealand stunners to walk for the lingerie brand.

Of those, four were new to the fashion show: Australian beauties Alannah Walton, 18, Duckie Thot, 22, and Sabah Koj, 19, and Kiwi stunner Maia Cotton, 19.
