WNBA Star Cameron Brink Flaunts Her Abs in Stunning “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit” Debut

The 22-year-old joins a roster of powerful female athletes for the new issue, coming in May.

Cameron Brink is making her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut!

The 22-year-old WNBA star has been announced as the latest new face joining the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2025 issue.

Brink’s photo from her stunning SI Swimsuit shoot was shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The image, shot by Ben Horton in Boca Raton, Fla., shows Brink posing in a white string bikini while showing off her abs, standing by the ocean with the sunlight beaming on her.

“Known for her undeniable skill and towering presence on the court, the 22-year-old brings her fierce energy to her SI Swimsuit debut,” SI Swimsuit wrote in the caption. Brink replied to the photo, writing, "Dream come true."

“From her impressive college career at Stanford to her rookie year in the WNBA with the Los Angeles Sparks, Brink is not only dominating the court but also redefining the intersection of fashion and sports with her sleek, standout pre-game tunnel looks.”

Brink joins a host of powerful female athletes for the SI Swimsuit 2025 issue, which comes out in May, including Jordan Chiles, Caroline Marks, Ali Truwit, Gabby Thomas, Eileen Gu, Suni Lee and Nelly Korda.

“We are thrilled to launch our shoot season for the 2025 issue with an extraordinary lineup of powerful female athletes,” MJ Day, SI Swimsuit editor-in-chief shared of the Boca Raton shoot in a statement. “This remarkable group, featuring Olympic medalists, world champions, and record holders, embodies the next generation of all-stars poised to transform the world of sports. They defy stereotypes and champion equality, inspiring young girls to envision themselves as both athletes and leaders. At SI Swimsuit, we’ve always celebrated the future of women, and there’s no better way to honor these remarkable achievements than by featuring them on the pages of our issue.”

Brink made her professional basketball debut after being selected No. 2 overall to the Los Angeles Sparks during the 2024 WNBA Draft following her graduation the same year.

In March, the New Jersey native was named the 2024 Pac-12 Player of the Year and won her third Defensive Player of the Year award, becoming only the second player ever to do so three times.

Aside from basketball, Brink is passionate about mental health. She supports the basketball community off the court with Next22, an annual basketball camp she founded for young girls, per SI Swimsuit.

Nelly Korda stuns as you’ve never seen her before, in SI Swimsuit debut

From the fairways to the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

LPGA Tour star Nelly Korda will make her highly anticipated debut in the 2025 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, the iconic publication announced this week, with the world’s top-ranked female golfer posing in sultry swimwear in newly released photos from the Boca Raton, Fla., shoot.

Korda, 26, who hails from the Sunshine State, modeled a white bikini from Vitamin A in one shot and sported a cutout black one-piece by LaQuan Smith in another.

When the 14-time LPGA Tour winner and Olympic gold medalist makes her first appearance in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit next spring, she’ll be in good company as fellow Olympians Suni Lee, Gabby Thomas and Eileen Gu are also joining the ranks.

“We are thrilled to launch our shoot season for the 2025 issue with an extraordinary lineup of powerful female athletes,” Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editor-in-chief MJ Day said in a statement Thursday.

“This remarkable group, featuring Olympic medalists, world champions, and record-holders, embodies the next generation of all-stars poised to transform the world of sports. They defy stereotypes and champion equality, inspiring young girls to envision themselves as both athletes and leaders. At SI Swimsuit, we’ve always celebrated the future of women, and there’s no better way to honor these remarkable achievements than by featuring them on the pages of our issue.”

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit revelation comes on the heels of an exciting few months for Lee, 21, and Thomas, 27, who competed at the 2024 Olympics in Paris this past summer.

Lee, a six-time Olympic medalist gymnast, won gold in the team all-around event and secured bronze in the individual all-around and the uneven bars final.

Two-time Olympian Thomas sprinted to three gold medals in Paris in the 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m.

Rounding out the Olympians is freestyle skier Gu, who, at the age of 18 became the youngest Olympic gold medalist in the discipline. The now-21-year-old won gold in the big air and halfpipe events at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The 2025 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit drops in May.

Olympian Gabby Thomas will make her SI swimsuit debut

Today is the day. Gabby Thomas is officially joining the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit family for the 2025 magazine, and today, the Olympic track star is on the ground in Boca Raton, Fla., posing for her debut feature.

It’s a momentous way to close out what has been an incredible year for the professional runner. At the Paris Olympics this past summer, the sprinter took home three gold medals in the 200m sprint, 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay. It was only the latest display of her impressive athletic ability, which likewise carried her to two podiums at the Tokyo games.

But her achievements don’t end at the edge of the track. The 27-year-old attended Harvard University, where she earned an undergraduate degree in neurobiology. But she didn’t stop there. She later graduated from the University of Texas with a Master of Public Health in epidemiology. Ever the inspiration, Thomas has dedicated herself to bettering public health access in historically underserved communities.

Her combination of athletic prowess and academic achievement makes her a shoo-in for the annual issue. At SI Swimsuit, we are always looking to showcase difference-makers on the pages of the magazine—and Thomas is nothing if not a difference-maker. We updated this post live as Thomas shares teased of her photo shoot day.

This afternoon, the SI Swimsuit Instagram account teased a snippet from her debut brand photo shoot, which featured Thomas in a classic orange one-piece swimsuit. She posed on a wooden walkway heading down to the beach and smiled for the camera.

In the afternoon, the Olympian took to the SI Swimsuit Instagram to share her excitement ahead of the photo shoot. According to Thomas, she had just picked out her swimwear looks and was patiently awaiting her moment to pose for the camera. “Can’t wait!” she expressed at the end of the story.

A little bit later, she returned to share an update on her experience. In the midst of posing—and during outfit number three—the rain put the experience on hold. As Thomas put it, “Just Florida weather—you never know.”

In between shots, Thomas enjoyed her “second coffee of the day,” giving her just enough energy to pose expertly for photographer Ben Horton.

Thomas didn’t take to Florida empty-handed—she showed up on set with her hardware in hand. During her photo shoot, the track star showed off her three Paris Olympic gold medals in a comical video.

And the videos didn’t stop there. Thomas also showed off her “essentials” in the post above, wearing a black robe. “Gabby your energy is so contagious, please never lose it ?,” one fan commented on the Instagram post, while SI Swimsuit model Jena Sims added: “And so much more ?.”

And for the last share of the day, Thomas posted to our Instagram story alongside fellow SI Swimsuit athlete Eileen Gu, who also posed for her debut today. The pair announced they’d be signing off, signaling the end of the shoot day.
