Maria Menounos says move your body, friends

Maria Menounos is on a healing trip to the Dominican Republic, sharing highlights with her 1.1 million Instagram followers. Menounos, 45, posted a video of herself wearing pink yoga pants and a white shirt, doing her exercises against a lush rainy landscape. "I'm making sure to get my morning movements here in the DR ?‍♀️. It was rainy so I had to do them here rather than in the sunrise like normal, but still facing the sun to get as much of it as possible through the clouds.

Love starting my day with moving my body… It helps increase blood flow and gives me an energy boost! You can do any type of movement or exercise, this is my routine that my friend @loroxburgh taught me ? So calming so I start the day on the right foot, even in the rain LOL. Move your body friends! ❤️," she captioned the post.

Menounos has a new appreciation for life after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023. "My secret to being vibrant is that I love life and I love people and I love trying things," she told New You. "I am not afraid to try new things and explore and fail. I don't like failing, but I'll still try everything. I just feel like life is so precious, so we must really enjoy every second because you just don't know what's around the corner. I've gone through those moments where I've been on the cliff being like, 'are we going to be okay?' God has blessed me at every turn, and I've been okay."

Menounos makes sure to finish her last meal of the day before sunset. "I eat really, really clean," she told New You. "I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last summer, and I have my dad as a really great role model. He's had it for over 50 years. He's 79 and he's outside helping me build a guest house right now in 106 degree weather. He's a beast. I focus on protein and vegetables – clean, clean eating. I had a few fries today- don't tell anybody, but for the most part, very clean eating and not too much water, but making sure I stay hydrated."

Menounos stays away from laser facials, preferring a more non-invasive approach to her skin. "Skin-care wise I have to say I really love Dr. Jason Diamond's Metacine skin-care line," she told New Beauty. "I got an early stash from him and my skin's been glowing. And I've gone through so much hell in the early part of the year, so I was like, 'Do I look like it?' I don't. I really love his new products. I have a hard time with lasers, they scare me. I've done it before, the laser where your face is red for a week. I could never do that again. I love Dermalogica facials. They are the only facials that don't freak me out. I do that about twice a year, but I really just do my stuff at home."

Menounos loves to unwind by quiet time with family and meditation. "We often break out a game of Uno with a glass of wine," she told New Beauty. "My dad and everyone in the house are always up for some fiercely competitive games; it's a great way to unwind. Personally, I love relaxing in the hot tub or meditating, that really helps me as well. I love going for a walk with my dogs. To me just being out in nature really helps me reconnect and get regrounded. Motion equals emotion, so, whenever you're not feeling well just get out and start moving. It makes you feel better instantly."

Menounos swears by regular yoga sessions to keep her looking and feeling good. "I've been practicing for almost five years," she told Outside. "I don't attend classes because I don't have time to commute, but I often do yoga bedside or in my front yard, even if it's for 10 minutes. I do what I can with the time I have. I find it helps my day go smoother if I do it first thing in the morning."

Maria Menounos has kept an incredible figure

The host showed off her toned tummy in a white string bikini while floating in a swimming pool.

'It’s warming up!!!' shared the Extra host. This comes five years after the brunette beauty was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

This comes a month after she hit the Netflix show The Pentaverate which took place at Liaison in Los Angeles.

The TV host wore a skintight neon lime green mini dress that had an off the shoulder look and a very short hem.

The star pulled back her hair to show off her tanned shoulders in the little knot dress.

And she added large diamond earrings for some bling.

Also at the event were Tony Hernandez, Tim Kirby, Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Mike Myers, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, and Lydia West.

The miniseries created by Myers is about a Canadian journalist who tries to uncover the truth about a society of five men who have controlled the world since 1347.

Maria Menounos revealed in July 2017 that she had a mass the size of a golf ball and that she'd undergone surgery to remove it.

In an appearance on Radio, Menounos said she was experiencing symptoms like headaches and blurry vision, but she brushed them aside - particularly because she was channeling all her energy into caring for her mother, who had stage 4 brain cancer.

'I wasn't listening to my body. Any time my body would scream and make noises, I'd be like: "Shut up body, I'm busy",' she told Brian Kilmeade.

'I was getting headaches, my vision was going a little blurry...But I swear God made these things happen loudly so that I would see what was happening.'

Menounos told that she had so many responsibilities that she didn't have time to get herself checked out.

'I was doing a million things...and then on top of it, I'm a female so my hair has to be perfect, and my nails have to be perfect, and I have to send the flowers, and I got to plan the vacations and I got to do everything as all women who are listening to this know,' she said.

Menounos said she went to a doctor at UCLA Medical Center in February 2017 and told him that, because she was experiencing ear pain, she thought she had an ear infection.

Not convinced, he asked her if she had any other symptoms.

'As I listed the symptoms, I said: "Oh my God, I think I have a brain tumor like my mom, but I know you are going to think I'm crazy",' she said.

'And he goes: "No, let's get an MRI and get it checked." And then, lo and behold, I had it.'

Menounos, a former host, was diagnosed with meningioma, which is a tumor of the meninges, which is the tissue that surrounds the brain and spinal cord.

However, it is classified as a brain tumor because it puts pressure on cranial nerves. The tumor generally forms in the head and about 85 percent of cases are benign.

Because the tumors are slow-growing, a patient can live with a meningioma for years before it's spotted.

Symptoms typically include blurry vision, painful headaches, loss of hearing, memory loss, and loss of smell.

If the tumor is asymptomatic, doctors may recommend regular monitoring with brain scans.

However, if the tumor is growing or symptoms begin to develop, patients may require surgery to remove all, or most, of the mass.

If the tumor is cancerous, radiation may be used to kill cancer cells or on parts of the mass, the surgeon was unable to remove.

Maria Menounos is holding onto the holidays and she's doing it in style

The former E! News presenter amazed fans with her appearance in a tiny two-piece which put her very toned body on display.

Maria, 44, shared the sun-soaked snap in which she was standing next to a swimming pool at a plush home.

The TV and radio personality looked stunning in the selfie which was captioned: "Don't September me,"

Maria looks after herself with a healthy and balanced diet and by keeping active. She is the author of The EveryGirl's Guide to Diet and Fitness and spilled some of her tips with Too Fab.

One thing she swears by is staying hydrated. "Drink hot water throughout the day. Sounds simple but it works. Sometimes when you think you are hungry, you're really dehydrated.

"Besides having a calming effect, drinking the hot water can help suppress your appetite. Plus, drinking hot water after eating helps digestion. Think of it as melting the food in your stomach. You can add lemon, as some experts believe that can help burn calories, too."

Maria keeps active but doesn't go crazy to stay in shape. "I don't have an official routine," she added.

"Though I wish I did, I don't go to the gym often. Generally speaking, I find creative ways to squeeze in exercises during my daily living routine and I stay as active as I possibly can.

"I walk instead of drive. I opt for stairs instead of escalators. I also have an inexpensive pedometer that measures my daily steps. I strive to do 10,000 a day and whether I accomplish that or not, it's a reminder to try."

Normally Howard Stern‘s wife Beth‘s Instagram page is filled with pics of all of the kittens the animal lover is fostering. The 47-year-old used a sexy bikini photo you can see here to put the message out about how she just had a terrible cancer scare and how yearly mammograms are so important for women.

“Not a kitten post. I went in for an annual mammogram 6 months ago and they found 1/2 inch growth that needed to be rechecked in 6 months. Today was my recheck and it didn’t increase in size. I was a nervous wreck for the past 6 months,” she wrote in the caption “A very dear friend of mine recently had a double mastectomy so this was extra sensitive.”

“Mine fortunately hasn’t grown and is just a Fibroadenoma,” she continued. “I just want to tell all of you amazing women out there..get your yearly mammograms.
