Senada Greca may be on vacation, but she is just as dedicated to her workout routine as when she's at home. Greca shared videos of herself doing an upper body and abdominal workout, wearing black exercise gear as she put herself through her paces in the bright sunshine of St. Barts. She also shared exactly which moves she was doing, breaking them down for each video. Greca's incredible, strong, toned physique is all the advertisement she needs for her training routine—here's what her exercise regimen and diet look like.
Greca's workouts are focused on strength training with weights and resistance bands. "I am a sincere believer that fitness and movement should be an inseparable part of someone's life. We were born to be active, born to be mobile," she told Glamour South Africa. "Thus, I encourage people to make movement fun and interesting, and in turn sustainable… I like to focus on legs 2-3 days per week, on upper body 2 days, and 1 full body workout per week. Sunday I work abs and throw in some fun active-rest work, like bicycling or a long walk."
Greca's diet is centered around protein intake. "I'm a flexible eater. My main focus is getting enough protein daily; carbs and fats fill the rest of my macros, which I intuitively track," she told Glamour South Africa. "I suggest that most people do track their macros, especially in the beginning of their fitness journey, so as to learn what the proper way of feeding ones' self looks like."
Greca encourages beginners to start with small, sustainable steps on their journey to fitness—and to keep a positive mindset. "I know where I have been mentally and physically when fitness wasn't a part of my life, so wanting to keep the monsters of anxiety and depression away keeps me motivated and accountable," she told Glamour South Africa. "I know for many, self-talk is an inhibitor, but for me it is the most persuasive and consistent accountability partner I could ever have. One just needs to change that self talk into being positive and encouraging."

more...Senada Greca is unveiling her full-body workout – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post the fitness expert shows off her insanely fit figure while working out in the gym. "Full Body Workout – total body, every muscle burner!" she captioned the post. "Another goodie from my Workout Programs." Her followers went wild. "Beast mode on," commented one. "You move with such intention. Always great form!" added another.

All someone needs to do is take a digital stroll through my Instagram to see loads of novelty and get excited to try out new effective exercises." Doing the same workout daily is what makes "people fall off the proverbial wagon" and that they instead should "constantly seek growth," she continues. "This means doing things like trying new movements that push us out of our comfort zone, finding a new recipe that is not typical to what we normally eat, and changing our routine."
Senada is all about yoga. "I believe in a holistic approach to fitness as we are more than a mechanically moving body. Our minds and souls need as much caring as our bodies. I have found that caring for our body in a mindful way, cares for our mind and soul as well. Allowing ourselves to listen to our body's signals, moving mindfully, not only can be a great tool in injury prevention, but also maximizing our physical and mental performance," Senada told Women's Best. She incorporates Yoga into her routine "not only as a means to help with my balance and mobility, which in turn help with my physical fitness, but also as a time to quiet my mind and turn my attention inward," she says.
Senada also gets her zen on. "Meditation is that other component that we rarely think of or make time for, but even a few minutes, as little as 5 minutes of meditation a day, can have a huge positive impact on our psyche and in turn our body as well. If we're in a great mental and spiritual space, we're able to perform better in all aspects of life." "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

Senada prioritizes form over speed. "I am always mindful of proper form. Never NOT think about form during a workout," Senada told Glamour. "Whether the exercise has started or you are setting yourself up for the exercise, always remember proper form."
Senada recommends breaking up workouts by body part. "I like to focus on legs 2-3 days per week, on upper body 2 days, and 1 full body workout per week. Sunday I work abs and throw in some fun active-rest work, like bicycling or a long walk," she told Glamour.

Greca shared an Instagram reel of herself posing in a green swimsuit that highlighted her enviably strong physique, letting fans know the typical diet she enjoys on a daily basis.
"Traveling and living in hotel rooms can challenge your dedication to a healthy lifestyle when it comes to nutrition and working out. But, where there's a will, there's always a way," she captioned the post.
Greca starts the day with three scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, a croissant, and mixed greens. "You might have noticed that eating eggs for breakfast may keep you feeling fuller for longer — that's generally attributed to the high protein content in eggs," say the experts at Keck Medicine of USC. "Whether you have an omelet for breakfast or a hard-boiled egg as a snack, eggs can help you stay satisfied after or between meals."
Greca enjoys a burrito bowl for lunch, packed with healthy protein, rice, and salad. While white rice has folic acid, brown rice has more fiber. "Hands down, brown rice brings more to the table," says registered dietitian Beth Czerwony, RD. "Brown rice will also keep you feeling full longer, which helps when you're watching how much you eat."
Dinner for Greca is usually more lean protein in the shape of a delicious turkey burger. She also enjoys a beet yogurt bowl for dessert. "Ground turkey contains less saturated fat than ground beef, giving it a more beneficial fat profile," says Amanda Beaver, a wellness dietitian at Houston Methodist. "In its place, ground turkey instead contains more polyunsaturated fat, which is a protective, healthier type of fat."
Greca makes a point of not being overly strict when it comes to food. "My ideology is to never restrict or completely eliminate things that I enjoy, but rather adjust portions or modify," she says. "This is important especially when starting out in creating better, healthier habits. I've found that an all or nothing approach does not work for most, it can feel very restrictive and this can create a yoyo effect, a binge and starve cycle."
Greca believes a healthy lifestyle is something that should be a long term goal—something that is sustainable and enjoyable. "When you allow for the 'unhealthy' foods in small amounts, and replace most of your food portions with healthier choices, a healthier life becomes more sustainable," she says. "And eventually you will gravitate away from less healthy food choices to healthier ones."
