She's been dividing her time between her native England and Costa Rica where her new boyfriend Armando Perez resides.

And Ellie Goulding documented her latest trip to the Central American country in a flurry of Instagram snaps on Wednesday.

The British pop star, 37, put her fantastic figure on display as she modelled a skimpy black bikini that showcased her toned abs and peachy bottom.

She posed up a storm on Playa Hermosa beach where she had been photographed frolicking with Armando and a friend on Friday.

As well as spending time by the ocean, the mother-of-one - who recently split from her husband Caspar Jopling - explored the lush rainforest on her trip.

Ellie captioned the snaps 'Opacity', meaning the quality of being difficult to understand or know about.

It marks the latest trip the singer has made to Costa Rica since ringing in the New Year in the tropical country that borders Nicaragua and Panama.

Ellie first met Armando while on a girl's holiday in the surfer's paradise in December.

Since then, Ellie, who confirmed her split from the father of her child Caspar, 31, in February, has been spotted several times on the vast coastline near Santa Teresa.

Her first appearance alongside the surf instructor, who previously taught Colombian singer Shakira on the same beach, sparked a flurry of rumours that she had separated from art-dealer Armando.

The pictures taken in February which showed Ellie frolicking around in the sea with Armando without her wedding ring only fuelled speculation that she and her husband had been living apart for six months.

The once-loved couple, who were married in August 2019 at York Minster surrounded by A-list guests, were said to be trying to work out for their three-year-old son Arthur.

After the first images emerged of Ellie cuddling up to Armando, the musician wrote on Instagram: 'In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago.

'We remain the closest of friends and have been successfully co-parenting with our son's best interests at heart.

'We are committed to protecting our family privacy and thank people in advance for respecting our wishes - we won't be commenting further. Thank you.'

Ellie and Caspar who were introduced by mutual friend Princess Eugene, are now expected to divorce after exhausting all other options, sources previously said.

Friends of the couple told MailOnline 'divorce is the only outcome' following their split after two years battling to save their relationship.

Sources close to Ellie said it was not the ideal ending for her but it is the 'only one' after exhausting all possibilities with Caspar.

A pal previously revealed: 'Ellie and Caspar have been over for some time now but there was this whole carry on of them pretending to be together.

'The fact is that it is over, Ellie moved on some time ago but she didn't want anyone to know.'

They continued: 'But now she is enjoying the company of other men and there is simply no way back.

'It is so sad, especially because they have got little Arthur but they can't make it work and now it, really sadly, is going to end in divorce. There is no way that the marriage can be saved, the only way it is going to end now is by divorcing.

'It wasn't necessarily the outcome they have always wanted but that's where they are, Ellie is ready to date other men if he isn't already, Caspar surely will be back out on the market again soon.'

Ellie and Caspar were last seen together on a family day out after the Burn hitmaker ended her friendship with Tory peer Zac Goldsmith to 'focus on her marriage.'

Ellie Goulding showed off her incredible physique as she posed in a bikini while soaking up the sun on her holiday to Costa Rica this week.

The singer, 37, flaunted her washboard abs as she posed in a funky purple seahorse patterned bikini on Thursday.

It comes after the Love Me Like You Do hitmaker was seen cosying up to a hunky surf instructor after her split from ex husband Caspar Jopling last year.

Ellie was seen packing on the PDA with Armando Perez - who previously took Shakira for lessons - and it seems that's not all the male attention she's getting.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Ellie reposted a snap of a different handsome chap leaning in for a peck on the cheek while Ellie beamed from ear to ear in her surf suit.

Revealed as her best friend James Provencher, who is a managing partner at Barry's Bootcamp in Miami, the fitness entrepreneur wrote: '10 years and counting with wifey @elliegoulding'.

Posting a sweet throwback snap of Ellie 'proposing' to James years ago, he shared a series of red love hearts alongside the caption 'how it started' 'how its going'.

Ellie has been living it up in Costa Rica as she enjoys a winter getaway with her friends and hasn't shied away from embracing a holiday romance.

Back in June is was reported Ellie and her art dealer husband Caspar, 31, had been living separate lives for at least six months, despite trying to stick together for the sake of their two-year-old son, Arthur.

The exes were last seen together in October during a family day out, after the musician ended her friendship with Tory peer Zac Goldsmith to 'focus on her marriage.'

Hitting the beach this week, Ellie showed her marriage was over as she enjoyed a surfing session with Armando.

The duo frolicked on the beach together, sharing kisses and cuddles, in photos obtained by The Sun.

In June, the Costa Rican surfer took Shakira for a lesson while the hitmaker was on holiday in his home country.

Armando and his brother Gero are licensed instructors and run La Puente Surfhouse on Playa Hermosa beach, offering accomodation and lessons.

An insider told The Sun: 'Ellie and Armando seemed very into each other.

'When Armando wasn’t teaching Ellie, he couldn’t keep his hands off her and pulled her in for a hug and a kiss.

'Ellie looked blissfully happy and was laughing and joking with him as they messed around in the sea.'

At the beginning of June, the couple were seen in London with their son and Ellie did have a ring on her finger.

A source said: 'Things have been bad for at least six months now, both parties have been really trying to be happy together for the sake of their son but these things can only take so long before it is untenable.

'Ellie's team were insisting that she and Caspar were happy, that any suggestions of them being apart were totally untrue and now this. It has all been very mysterious indeed.

'There had been suggestions of troubles and even a full on split for quite some time but they kept insisting everything is was totally fine.'

Prior to the split social media users had noticed that the couple had stopped following one another on Instagram though they later went on to refollow one another.

This week, the actress was spotted enjoying the beach in Tulum, photos of which the Daily Mail shared on Wednesday.

Miller looked relaxed as she soaked up the tropical sun on the Caribbean beach. As the photos show, the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra actress wore her blonde hair in a middle part and down in natural strands that fall over her shoulders and back. Miller appears to be wearing no makeup, truly embracing the natural, relaxed vibe of the beach.

According to the report, the American Sniper actress appeared to be enjoying her downtime without her boyfriend, the 28-year-old editorial director of David Zwirner Books who is the son of the gallerist David Zwirner. The 37-year-old actress showed off her slender frame in a tiny black two-piece bikini, consisting of a straight-cut top with thick straps that go over her shoulders, and a matching bottom that sits low on her hips, helping accentuate her toned abs and strong legs.

The couple recently returned to the U.S. from France, where they jetted off to in late February to attend Paris Fashion Week, according to a separate report by the Daily Mail.
