Hurdler and Model Michelle Jenneke flaunts her toned figure

Michelle Jenneke, the dynamic hurdler known for her spirited warm-up dance, has faced an unexpected hurdle of her own. Following her inspiring return to the Olympics in 2024, Jenneke encountered an injury requiring surgery. But last month, she shared a hopeful update on Instagram, captioned simply, "Back walking." Her dedication to training shines through even amid recovery, as she revealed to Body & Soul: "I do three track sessions a week, and they can be from 2-3 hours each, which can be full on." From intense track workouts to a balanced, protein-packed diet, Jenneke's holistic approach to wellness keeps her grounded and resilient, showing fans that setbacks are just another obstacle on the track of life.

Jenneke shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Body & Soul. In it, she shared what her training sessions on the track look like. Jenneke makes sure to do her training on a regular basis. "I do three track sessions a week, and they can be from 2-3 hours each, which can be full on. You do some warm up, a hurdle session, and then a sprint session after that."

Jenneke also shared what her gym days look like in her Body & Soul interview. She says that she does a lot of different things to stay fit. "It's a lot of heavy weights there, plus full body exercises and quite a bit of plyometric [exercises]. I start with heavy weights, and then I'll do some lighter functional circuit, towards the end. All up, that takes an hour and a half to two hours… and sometimes when I finish a session I just lie on the ground. I think to myself, 'it's just gym, why is it so hard?"

Jenneke shared her diet in her Body & Soul interview. "I actually eat a lot," she said. "I talk to my sister, and she says she has three meals a day – sometimes two if she's busy – and I'm like 'I have to eat six times a day! "It really depends on what my training day looks like, but if I've got training in the morning (which I often do at the moment) I'll have cereal generally before I go out and train. Then, I actually love having a Milo after a hard session – it's got good levels of protein and iron in it – and then I make myself a second breakfast, which could be muesli with yoghurt or bacon and eggs. Lunch is pretty basic – usually I just have a sandwich – and then for dinner I like to keep it simple. I have either some pasta or some rice with meat and veggies."

Jenneke makes sure to push herself when she trains, and that means having the right mindset and attitude toward it. She talked about the approach she takes in an interview with Kate Conklin. "I fall a lot in practice. Like, every training session. I'm always trying to push myself to go faster and do better and get as close the hurtle as I can, and when you do that, you hit them… I really like it when I fall over in training…It shows me that I'm doing the right thing."

Jenneke doesn't like to let her sport take over her life, and she makes sure to still enjoy it. "I think it is quite a big commitment, but if you think about it like that it's really going to wear you down and you're going to think about it being a big commitment and how it's taking over your life and that's not the way I like to look at it," Jenneke said on the Big Sports Breakfast. "I like to look at it as the fact that I compete in the hurdles and I train all this time because I love it so I go into all those sessions just thinking, 'It's not the hard work, I'm just going out and doing what I love.' I don't really let that weigh on me, I just try to enjoy myself."

Golf Influencer Karin Hart shows off stunning body

Golf influencer Karin Hart is making waves both on and off the course, where she's recently shared a video of herself hitting balls in stylish workout gear and her "MGGA" hat, captioned, "Making golf great again ??⛳️?." Known for her active lifestyle and dedication to health, Hart combines her passion for golf with a balanced approach to fitness and self-care. A cancer survivor, Hart has a resilient spirit that drives her to maintain a rigorous workout routine, including five sessions a week with Orangetheory, personal training, and running. Hart was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer when she was in college, on September 16, 2009. She underwent two surgeries, radioactive iodine treatment, and balanced her thyroid hormones post-thyroidectomy to beat cancer. During treatment, she played lacrosse for her Division I college, competing on her team all 4 seasons, she reveals on her website.

Karin works out 5 times a week. Her favorites are Orangetheory Fitness, training with her personal trainer, and using the Tone It Up app. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. She also enjoys going for runs and takes her dog on long walks in downtown St. Pete. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Golf isn't the only country club sport Karin enjoys. She loves tennis. "How's my serve? ?? #tennis #gamesetmatch #tennisbabes," she captioned a post. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

Golf is Karin's go-to sport. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.

Kourtney and Travis welcomed their first child together, son Rocky Thirteen, on November 1, 2023.

Kelly Ripa shows off her amazing body

Kelly Ripa is resistance running in honor of the New York City Marathon – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the talk show host shows off her amazing body in a sports bra and leggings during a workout session with her trainer. "Congratulations to all the @nycmarathon runners today! Here we are all individually practicing because hey, you never know ??‍♂️," she captioned the Instagram clip.

Kelly works with nutritionist, Dr. Daryl Gioffre, he designed a healthy, nurturing, and sustainable diet for his star client. She starts with a morning cocktail – a scoop of his Acid-Kicking Green powder (dehydrated greens) from his brand Alkamind with a glass of water. "You have to eat your greens," he tells E! News. "But when you get it in the form of a green juice, what's happening is you're getting all those nutrients into the greens and you're getting a huge amount of greens in just eight-ounce servings."

Ripa enjoys the perks of coffee. She blends hers with grass-fed butter and Acid-Kicking Coffee Alkalizer. Why should you enjoy a cup in the morning? There are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation, explains Cleveland Clinic. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Kelly also makes sure to get her healthy fats in. For lunch she makes a salad with microgreens, sprouts, avocado and raw nuts, full of lots of healthy fats. She also snacks on raw nuts throughout the day. "Instead of going for the unhealthy snack, she's always prepared," Gioffre says. "And that's the big mantra: 'Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.'"

Ripa also makes sure to eat enough protein. Her dinner is usually another salad with steamed vegetables or some sauteed vegetables or some grilled greens, he says. "And she likes to have the vegetables in season because they're just better for you. And then she'll have a protein and that could be grilled tofu or tahini or some fish protein."

Kelly doesn't neglect her sweet tooth. However, she choose healthy options. One of her go-to desserts is a avocado chocolate mousse, made with avocados, pure vanilla extract, raw cacao, dates and sea salt. She also likes chocolate chia pudding for fiber.

Hailey Rae Ostrom flaunts her amazing figure

Hailey Rae Ostrom is out on the range in her workout gear. In a new social media post the golf influencer flaunts her amazing figure in a two-piece exercise set while playing a game. "Still chasing that eagle #golf #eaglewatch," she captioned the Instagram clip.

In a video on her YouTube channel Hailey reveals that one of her go-to workouts is an interval cardio circuit. "I'm going to do my 20 minute interval, three miles per hour, four miles per hour, alternating for 40 seconds, 40 seconds, 15 times through on 15% incline, which equals 20 minutes," she says. Walking on an incline burns more calories than walking fast or even running on a flat surface, which is why many experts suggest upping your incline. A 2013 study even found that walkin on a 2 to 7 percent incline increased heart rate by almost 10 percent when compared with running on a flat surface.

Hailey understands the importance of protein. "Postworkout, you have to get your protein," she says. One of her go-tos? Hard boiled eggs. She also admits that she eats turkey meatballs "every single night" with broccoli or sweet potatoes. She makes them with gluten-free panko, the "leanest" turkey she can find, one egg, and "a little bit of cheese. "You make them into one and a half to two inch little balls. You bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes."

She also drinks "water with apple cider vinegar and lemon and honey," she says. "I have my water bottle, it's one liter bottle." She fills it with water and adds a "lemon and a half," one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and two tablespoons of honey "and then you're gonna shake it up and you drink one of one liter of this a day."

Hailey enjoys cycling on her NordicTrack s27i bike. "Strong thighs means long drives, right!?" she says about her "new favorite workout." The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Ananya Panday recently took to social media to share glimpses of her sun-soaked Dubai vacation. The actress treated her fans to a series of stunning photos that showcased her beach-ready physique and love for good food.

In another shot, Ashley put on a leggy display in a black mini dress as she enjoyed a night out with her pals.

She added inches to her frame with a pair of black sandal heels and toted her belongings in small black bag.

The Pussycat Doll star then turned up the heat in a tiny green bikini as she posed by the poolside.

She showcased her natural beauty as she went makeup free in the pictures, hiding her face behind a pair of black sunglasses while topping up her golden glow.

Ashley wrapped up her lavish carousel with snaps of her and her friends relaxing on a pool bed, along with shots of the gorgeous food she indulged in.

Her trip comes after Ashley revealed to MailOnline that she endured 'disastrous' online dates and was even catfished before meeting boyfriend George Rollinson 'the old fashioned way'.

She has been dating the hunky artist, 25, since November 2023 ahead of them making their first official appearance as a couple earlier this year.

Ashley gushed that she was in a 'happy place' and said: 'It's really nice to be in a relationship that's kind and thoughtful and supportive and we have fun'.

She explained to MailOnline in August, that while online dating works for a lot of people she and George met through mutual friends and their relationship 'came about naturally'.

'It was an unexpected thing, we met, and I was having a good time and living my best life, enjoying it and I was like "this is someone quite special" - I'm in a happy place'.

Ashley, who reportedly signed up to celeb dating app Raya in 2022, recalled one bad date, laughing: 'I turned up and necessarily didn't recognise the person sat in front of me from [their profile] images'.

'And I was like "wait a minute" and it's a bit uncomfortable because you have to sit through a meal, so that was on the disastrous side'.

She went on to muse: 'I was kind of on an adventure to try new things and went online and I gave it a go, but it actually worked out the old fashioned way with George'.

Since starting dating, Ashley and George have enjoyed a romantic holiday in Dubai soaking up the sunsets at beachfront hotel Caesars Palace and dining at the likes of luxury Italian restaurant Scalini.

The artist, who is 17 years Ashley's junior, is her first serious partner since her split from professional dancer Giovanni Pernice.

The former couple met when Ashley starred on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, where she was finished as a finalist with her partner Pasha Kovalev.

The blonde beauty and Italian dancer were together for over a year, but eventually split in 2020.

It was speculated in 2012 after her stint in the I'm A Celeb jungle that Ashley shared a brief fling with host Dec Donnelly, though the pair never publicly confirmed.

The 22-year-old WNBA star has been announced as the latest new face joining the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2025 issue.

Brink’s photo from her stunning SI Swimsuit shoot was shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The image, shot by Ben Horton in Boca Raton, Fla., shows Brink posing in a white string bikini while showing off her abs, standing by the ocean with the sunlight beaming on her.

“Known for her undeniable skill and towering presence on the court, the 22-year-old brings her fierce energy to her SI Swimsuit debut,” SI Swimsuit wrote in the caption. Brink replied to the photo, writing, "Dream come true."

Brink made her professional basketball debut after being selected No. 2 overall to the Los Angeles Sparks during the 2024 WNBA Draft following her graduation the same year.

In March, the New Jersey native was named the 2024 Pac-12 Player of the Year and won her third Defensive Player of the Year award, becoming only the second player ever to do so three times.

Aside from basketball, Brink is passionate about mental health. She supports the basketball community off the court with Next22, an annual basketball camp she founded for young girls, per SI Swimsuit.

Tulisa recently gave a health update in which she revealed that she's going to get a 'fat transfer' to help with bruising in her face which left her feeling 'paranoid'.

The singer and former X Factor judge spoke to her fans on Instagram on Saturday and pointed out some bruising on her right cheek which she claimed has appeared after years of having steroid injections to control chronic cysts.

Over the last few months, the singer has had 10 cysts removed from inside her mouth after she said that had suffered with the feeling that ants were crawling in her face, leaving her feeling like her "cheek was on fire".

Tulisa has been suffering for 12 years with this condition, which she's controlled by having steroid injections. However, this has left permanent bruising on her face, which she said has left her considering a "fat transfer".

Speaking on her Instagram Story, the singer said: "Hi guys, some of you may know I recently opened up in an Olivia Attwood interview 'So Wrong It's Right', talking about my face and the experiences I've had with the chronic infection that I was unaware of and Bells Palsy attacks [Tulisa was diagnosed with Bells Palsy in 2020].

"I had my first operation a few months back, that was before interview, where they opened up the ear and went in here [pointing to her jaw] and they took about five cysts that I had in the lower part of the face. And then three weeks ago, I had my latest and final operation where they removed the five last cysts.

The bubbly celebrity told Fox News creating content for Playboy helped her cope after she was diagnosed with a rare degenerative neurological disease called Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA6).

Megan, who shot to fame on Ritchie Strahan's season of The Bachelor in 2016, admitted it's been 'a stressful period of time,' but modelling has given her something to look forward to.

'My confidence has been quite low trying to figure out your place in the world,' she said.

'I'm young and healthy, and I'm confident now but eventually, that's not always going to be there for me. I just want to embrace life right now and part of having freedom and enjoying your body is making money.'

Megan shared her heartbreaking diagnosis in an Instagram post back in January, while assuring fans she's remaining optimistic.

Spinocerebellar ataxia type 6 (SCA6) is a neurological condition characterised by late onset, slowly progressive problems with movement.

Symptoms of SCA6 can include struggling with coordination, stumbling, imbalance and in some cases, slurred speech.

The rare disorder, which affects 1 in 100,000, is not curable and there is no specific treatment to delay or halt its progression.

However, there are various therapies that can help to manage symptoms.

Model Kelly Gale shares her morning routine

Model Kelly Gale is showing fans what a typical morning looks like for the Victoria's Secret star. Gale, 29, shares a video of herself wearing a gray one-piece workout outfit, going through a routine that includes yoga, journaling, stretching, and meditation. "Morning in Oslo ??‍♀️✨❤️," she captioned the post. "I love love love videos like this! It's cool to get to know you a little ✨", a fan commented.

Gale meditates every day and walks to destress. "I'm probably impossible to get hold of when I'm stressed," she told Body+Soul. "The only thing that works for me when I'm stressed and need to get things done is to take time first to do my meditation and go on a long 2 to 3-hour power walk and clear my head. After that, I can deal with stress related stuff."

Gale's mother influenced her health and wellness philosophy and approach. "Growing up she would only feed us homemade healthy meals and encouraged my brothers and I to exercise by being very active with us," she told ELLE. "Everything from teaching us yoga to signing us all up to join a soccer team and to play tennis. I think by simply feeling the benefits from that upbringing, I have taken on my philosophy from my mum."

Gale always dry-brushes before work, and uses coconut oil on her skin and hair. "Sometimes I put it in my hair and sleep with it in, it makes your hair super soft and nourishes the scalp," she told ELLE. "I also use coconut oil as my makeup remover because my skin is sensitive and I find coconut oil to be very gentle. It's such a versatile product, I really do use it for everything."

Gale is strict about getting enough sleep. "It's my number one priority along with nourishing my body with good foods and avoiding unhealthy or processed foods," she told ELLE. "Other than that, I am a firm believer in how spreading kindness and positivity affects your inner beauty which shines on the outside also. To be kind and positive is what makes me feel the most beautiful and when you feel beautiful that will shine through."

Gale wants people to embrace a more diverse idea of what healthy looks like. "There's A LOT of people out there who are going to give you health advice and tell you what to do and nobody agrees with each other," she told Body+Soul. "But there isn't one correct way of being healthy."

"When embarking on your fitness journey, it is absolutely PIVOTAL that you surround yourself with people who are going to build you up, not break you down. This was something that I did not recognize soon enough because I truly believed that these people would change. I slowly learned that people won't change unless they want to. So, even though it was scary and lonely, I made the decision to leave that circle. Truly one of the best decisions I could have ever made."

Gordon shared her diet secrets in the caption of the previous Instagram video. "Eating inflammatory foods was a huge discovery that I believe has led to so much change in how I look and feel. When it comes to wondering which foods will affect your gut, it's probably best to do an elimination diet since everyone's body responds differently. I learned that (as sad as it has been) my body does not respond well to gluten, eggs, red meat, or dairy. It's been quite a change in my diet that has taken some adjusting, but I feel SO much better overall!!"

Ice Dancer Tessa Virtue shows off her fantastic figure

Tessa Virtue is breaking a sweat with her trainer, Torrie Borland – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the ice dancer gives her fitness guru a shout out, while also showing off her fantastic figure in a two-piece exercise set. "I could go on and on about @torriebfit – but all you really need to know is that she's the best. Today was our first workout back in person for several months and OH MY WAS IT EVER FUN," she captioned the Instagram post.

Tessa mixes up her workouts. "Leading into the Olympics, Scott [Moir] and I typically skated for four hours a day, and would then spend two hours in the gym doing various workouts including cycling, Pilates, strength circuits, and sometimes even ballroom dancing!" she revealed to Canadian Living.

Tessa takes recovery seriously. "As an older athlete, the balance of work and recovery has become more important. Much of a training day is devoted to treatment – we work with a massage therapist, an osteopath, and a physiotherapist," she revealed. According to the Mayo Clinic, studies support the many benefits of getting a regular rub down. These include stress reduction, lessening pain and muscle tightness, increased relaxation, and improved immunity.

Tessa starts the day with an ayurvedic favorite. "The first thing I do every morning is have a glass of hot water with lemon for its alkalinity and detox effects," she told Canadian Living. She also makes sure to hydrate throughout the day. "I drink a lot of water, sleep as much as I can, and moisturize."

Tessa is a big fan of baths. "I love lighting candles, putting Epsom salts in the bathtub, putting on a "chill" playlist and soaking – it's a great way to decompress, unwind, and let my mind calm down" she told Canadian Living about her self-care routine. How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

"My diet isn't too strict, instead I focus on eating healthfully," she told Canadian Living. "I have such a sweet tooth, and I've learned not to deprive myself, but rather practice moderation. I'm not a big cook, but I'll make poached eggs, smoothies and overnight oats." In general, she tries to eat whole foods. "If I had to categorize my diet it would be just eating clean," she added to Strong Fitness Magazine. "I make sure to get lots of protein, and I love fruits and vegetables. However, I also leave room for treats. I'm a sucker for any and all kinds of dessert, and I've learned not to deprive myself, but rather maintain a healthy balance."

LPGA Tour star Nelly Korda will make her highly anticipated debut in the 2025 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, the iconic publication announced this week, with the world’s top-ranked female golfer posing in sultry swimwear in newly released photos from the Boca Raton, Fla., shoot.

Korda, 26, who hails from the Sunshine State, modeled a white bikini from Vitamin A in one shot and sported a cutout black one-piece by LaQuan Smith in another.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit revelation comes on the heels of an exciting few months for Lee, 21, and Thomas, 27, who competed at the 2024 Olympics in Paris this past summer.

Lee, a six-time Olympic medalist gymnast, won gold in the team all-around event and secured bronze in the individual all-around and the uneven bars final.

Two-time Olympian Thomas sprinted to three gold medals in Paris in the 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m.

Rounding out the Olympians is freestyle skier Gu, who, at the age of 18 became the youngest Olympic gold medalist in the discipline. The now-21-year-old won gold in the big air and halfpipe events at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

The 2025 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit drops in May.

Track and Field Stunner Yuliia Levchenko shared her fitness routine

Yuliia Levchenko, a Ukrainian high jump star, has been a force in track and field since her teenage years, with notable wins like her gold at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games. Recently, she gave fans a glimpse into her fitness routine by sharing a video of a hurdle drill on Instagram. From hitting the padel court to eating a balanced diet, Levchenko maintains her athletic edge. In an interview with Oh Lala Magazine, she emphasized the importance of healthy eating, hard training, and personal growth.

In an Instagram video, Levchenko is seen hitting the padel course. The sport has a lot of health benefits. LTA states, "It's a full-body workout that keeps you moving from beginning to end – helping to improve your endurance, cardiovascular health and prevent health risk factors in the future. It involves plenty of running, movement from side-to-side and quick changes of direction and will help you build your speed and strength. Like tennis, while improving your overall aerobic fitness so you can run for longer, padel also helps you build muscle with short and explosive movements to benefit your anaerobic fitness."

Levchenko makes sure to eat healthy. She talked about this in an interview with Oh Lala Magazine. "Sportsmen need to have a good diet and it is important to keep the balance. It is all about the different types of food that you have to eat – sometimes you even have to eat chocolates because we burn a lot of calories in our profession and we need to keep that balance too. Fitness isn't a professional sport; fitness is a special diet and training. I believe it is a hobby but, for professional sportsmen, it's your life. It isn't as difficult for me because I just need to know what calorie intake is normal for me so I can keep my portions balanced. I know my normal weight and I try to stay within the same range."

Levchenko talked about her desires to improve in her Oh Lala Magazine interview. "I want to continue my work and keep getting better. I want to train hard and achieve even more goals. My friends and family only support me, they help me stay humble and I feel like I haven't had any success. For our parents, I feel like we're always the best, irrespective of how high I jump, they're always telling me they're proud of me. Support is a big part of sports!"

Levchenko loves to go for hikes to stay in shape. She shared a set of photos of herself on a hike in the desert on Instagram. The Cleveland Clinic states that hiking has a lot of benefits, including helping people with their sleep. "If you struggle to get a good night's sleep, then a hike might be beneficial. Exposure to vitamin D can help control your wake-sleep cycle. And being outside and exercising will also raise your body's temperature, so when your internal temperature goes back down, it can lull you into sleep."

Levchenko shared a video on Instagram of herself doing squats with a barbell. Piedmont states that this exercise has a lot of benefits. "Whether you're hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do…Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back."

Kelsea Ballerini stuns in a bikini

Kelsea Ballerini turned heads in a white bikini as she made her acting debut on Doctor Odyssey.

The 31-year-old country singer made her guest star appearance on Thursday's episode of the medical drama series.

In the episode titled I Always Cry at Weddings, she plays a bride who 'wrecks havoc on board' of The Odyssey when a rash outbreak takes hold of the guests and maybe even the suddenly-doubtful groom.

The synopsis reads: 'When a wealthy family charters The Odyssey for a weeklong wedding cruise, all eyes are on the "bridezilla" as she wreaks havoc on board. Amid the chaos, love and lust manage to find their way through the air with sparks flying among the crew.'

Prior to the episode airing, Ballerini — who dressed up as Sandy to her boyfriend Chase Stokes' Danny for their Grease-inspired couple's costume for Halloween — opened up about making her acting debut and being nervous to film.

'[Acting] was one of the things that I was like, "Run toward the things that scare you!"' she told Women's Health in an interview published on October 15.

'What if I suck on TV? Then you know what I do? I'll go put on my glitter and go back onstage. That's always going to be home base.'

Back in September, she told People that she was feeling 'timid' ahead of taking on the role and filming for the ABC series as it was her 'first time ever trying the acting hat on.'

Ballerini explained: 'I wasn't reserved on the fact that it was my first time.

'So I asked a lot of questions and I feel like I learned so much, and I really hope that I did the character and the show proud,' she said.

Ballerini also admitted that she turned to her boyfriend for help.

She said she even ran lines with the Outer Banks star to practice for her part.

'I've always called acting his world, and so whenever I was asking him questions about this opportunity, I was like, "What about this in your world?"'

She recalled: 'And he was like, "Hey, it's just a world. I'm a part of it and now you're a part of it. It's not my world."

'By the end of the conversation, I was like, "OK, so you'll run the scene with me?" And he was like, "Yeah, let's do it",' she said.

Ballerini will make her guest star appearance on Thursday's episode of Doctor Odyssey on ABC.

The episode will be available to stream on Hulu the following day.
