Pelas recently went to the Sports Illustrated party, and made sure to look stunning. She wore a sheer bodysuit with black fabric, looking stunning.

Pelas loves to swim to stay in shape. She shared this set of photos of herself at the beach on Instagram. In them, Pelas is seen in the water. She captioned the post, "Heaven is a cowboy tub in the desert." Better Health states, "Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it's a good way to relax and feel good."

Pelas shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with The Daily Star. She says that she eats a balanced diet. "A toned stomach really comes from a balanced diet. It's like the saying 'abs are made in the kitchen'. I am a Southern girl, so I love a lot of naughty food, but I know how to keep myself in check. I drink a lot of water, eat a lot of grilled chicken and vegetables and choose a salad for lunch pretty often. That way when I indulge, it isn't so bad."

Pelas has an amazing set of abs. She shared her secrets in her Daily Star interview. Pelas says that she does a lot of running. "To burn belly fat, I definitely recommend a ton of cardio mixed with weight training. Running, for me, has always been the quickest way to drop a few pounds and feel amazing fast. It's also a fun

challenge to build your stamina, speed and endurance."

Pelas likes to do a variety of workouts. She shared her favorites in her Daily Star interview. "I'll do two days of weight training, two days of class workouts and one day with something simple and outdoors like a hike or run. I go to a conventional gym twice a week for weights.

I try to do a lot of weighted squats, leg-ups and deadlifts. I'll also do spin or Pilates twice a week. Pilates is so amazing for developing a lean, toned body and nothing makes you feel more incredible than spin class."

Pelas is all about accepting herself and her body. "Beyond the aesthetics, I've always been taught to be grateful just to be healthy," she told The Daily Star. "As far as my curves go, that was just an added bonus. I remember stuffing my bra as a young girl praying one day I may have big boobs – I guess it worked. I think my best body part would be my breasts. I can't help but love them. I don't really have a body part I dislike, I'm pretty body-positive."

And Vicky replied: "But around a year ago I had my contraceptive implant removed - I did it predominantly as I needed to live without synthetic hormones in my body but it also saw me lose about a stone in three months."

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Kelly Hughes has opened up about how she handled negative comments after becoming the first woman to show her C-section scar in the iconic magazine, saying it was 'healing' to flaunt her 'biggest insecurity.'

The 42-year-old mom revealed the scar above her pelvic bone while posing in a string bikini for the body-positive 2022 SI Swimsuit spread.

'I had a million things running through my mind before I even started shooting. I had never shown my scar before. And I have been really open with how I struggled with insecurities around my scar,' she told.

Kelly Hughes explained that didn't want to have a C-section because 'the bounce back was going to be much harder' for her as a model.

'Society just puts so much pressure on you to "bounce back,"' she said. 'I wasn’t a size two anymore. I wasn’t doing too much modeling in a bikini in the first place. So it was scary at first to show my biggest insecurity in a magazine like Sports Illustrated. I wasn’t sure how I was going to be received.'

Hughes recalled how she was made to 'feel so confident and beautiful' by MJ Day during the shoot, saying the editor 'turned my insecurity into the most beautiful thing in the world.'

'The experience was a healing one for me,' she added. 'It just really helped me to overcome my insecurities.'

The mother of one insisted that she had no idea the impact the resulting photo would have on people — or that it would go viral all over the world.

Four months ago, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Emily DiDonato, 28, opened up about her struggles with body image acceptance throughout her modeling career and ever since she’s been blown away by the reactions she’s received.

“I was building my YouTube channel, and I realized that I had this very engaged female audience,” the model tells PEOPLE exclusively at Aerie’s Delivering Good holiday campaign, supporting women and girls in homeless shelters. “I felt like I had this channel where I was really showing people the most real, authentic me, and I wanted to use it in a meaningful way. It was a message that I was ready to share.”

In August, DiDonato filmed a 15-minute video on her YouTube channel detailing her experience as a model, recalling times when agencies told her she was “too big” causing her to lose 20 pounds, and the moment she experienced true self-acceptance.

“So many people reached out, and so many outlets picked it up. I was blown away,” she says. “I had girls like Karlie Kloss repost it, and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I couldn’t believe how much it resonated with so many different types of people. But, I mean, now that I think about it, it’s actually a no brainer that it does.”

The model, who has graced the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and starred in Maybelline campaigns, credits body-positive brands like Aerie for giving her the push she needed to share her story.

Ariella Nyssa from Australia is encouraging women to post pictures of themselves that reflect what they really look like, rather than the picture-perfect images society expects

She often posts unfiltered bikini pictures of herself, unapologetically flaunting parts of her body she used to be ashamed of.

The body-positive model also uses her platform of transparency to push women to do the same, regardless of what others think.

“This photo would have rotted away in my camera roll. I and many of us look past photos like this because we ‘weren’t ready’ or it’s an ‘unflattering’ look,” Nyssa wrote with a photo of herself sitting in a bikini with her natural stomach showing.

“This moment is just as beautiful as any ‘posed’ or filtered moment!!! Let’s see the beauty in the REALNESS of life!” she added.

Influencer Sia Cooper, who has over 1 million Instagram followers, slammed a commenter who scolded the mom of two for showing her backside. “To show your gains you don’t have to show your behind like that,” the woman wrote, “you are a mother, think about what your children see you're behind in your posts in the future, unfollowed.”

Cooper, who is a nurse-turned-personal trainer, shared the woman’s critical comment along with a photo of herself in the bikini.

“The other day, I had posted a photo of myself in this very same bikini and was told to cover up... because I am a mother. Cue the mom-shaming,” Cooper captioned. “Since when were mothers no longer allowed to feel sexy? How do you think babies even got here in the first place. Instead of teaching her children to be ashamed of her body, Cooper said, she wants them to “see a mother who’s confident in her own skin. I fought like hell to finally love myself and it wasn’t until a few years ago that I started wearing shorts again in public,” she said. “I would’ve given anything to have a body-positive mama and I make sure that my kids see and feel this positivity everyday-not just with looks but with it all.”

Moms have enough to worry about, Cooper said, including postpartum and feeling “less than sexy” with all the demands of motherhood.

Cooper ended her body-positivity manifesto with a charge to moms everywhere to have permission to wear a bikini – regardless of what anyone else thinks.

“So mamas put on your bikinis. You’ve earned it. Every woman deserves to feel comfortable in her own skin without society’s judgy opinions,” she wrote.

The three-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model sent the ultimate body-positive message by posing unretouched for the magazine’s September issue, and we’re totally in awe of her natural beauty–both inside and out.

“When you think about it, we have retouching everywhere now and we don’t even know it,” Kate told the magazine. “People are staging Instagram shots and retouching those pictures. That’s the new norm. And then we believe that’s how people actually look, and think we should look that way too. So, for me, doing an unretouched shoot is a step toward embracing real life. The goal should be to be the best you can be not try to look like someone else.”

It’s safe to say our girl Kate knows a thing or two about the pressure to look perfect, especially after giving birth to her first child last year. But she’s ready to shut down weight loss culture once and for all.

“I don’t want anyone to have to be in that negative space where they think, “Oh, no! I don’t fit into that size 2 dress,” she said. “You know what, who cares? Buy another one!”

For Kate, it’s all about feeling strong, rather than the number on the scale. Her fitness program Strong4Me, created with the help of her trainer Ben Bruno, focuses on just that.

“Instead of beating yourself up about the number on the scale, you notice when you get stronger,” Kate told Health. “It’s a healthier mind-set, one that took me a while to get to. That’s really what I wanted to share with others.”
