I don't like failing, but I'll still try everything. I just feel like life is so precious, so we must really enjoy every second because you just don't know what's around the corner. I've gone through those moments where I've been on the cliff being like, 'are we going to be okay?' God has blessed me at every turn, and I've been okay."

Menounos makes sure to finish her last meal of the day before sunset. "I eat really, really clean," she told New You. "I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last summer, and I have my dad as a really great role model. He's had it for over 50 years. He's 79 and he's outside helping me build a guest house right now in 106 degree weather. He's a beast. I focus on protein and vegetables – clean, clean eating. I had a few fries today- don't tell anybody, but for the most part, very clean eating and not too much water, but making sure I stay hydrated."

Menounos stays away from laser facials, preferring a more non-invasive approach to her skin. "Skin-care wise I have to say I really love Dr. Jason Diamond's Metacine skin-care line," she told New Beauty. "I got an early stash from him and my skin's been glowing. And I've gone through so much hell in the early part of the year, so I was like, 'Do I look like it?' I don't. I really love his new products. I have a hard time with lasers, they scare me. I've done it before, the laser where your face is red for a week. I could never do that again. I love Dermalogica facials. They are the only facials that don't freak me out. I do that about twice a year, but I really just do my stuff at home."

Menounos loves to unwind by quiet time with family and meditation. "We often break out a game of Uno with a glass of wine," she told New Beauty. "My dad and everyone in the house are always up for some fiercely competitive games; it's a great way to unwind. Personally, I love relaxing in the hot tub or meditating, that really helps me as well. I love going for a walk with my dogs. To me just being out in nature really helps me reconnect and get regrounded. Motion equals emotion, so, whenever you're not feeling well just get out and start moving. It makes you feel better instantly."

Menounos swears by regular yoga sessions to keep her looking and feeling good. "I've been practicing for almost five years," she told Outside. "I don't attend classes because I don't have time to commute, but I often do yoga bedside or in my front yard, even if it's for 10 minutes. I do what I can with the time I have. I find it helps my day go smoother if I do it first thing in the morning."

But now she shared she is facing increasing anxiety trying to figure out 'who she really is'.

She said: 'Oh, I don't even know where to start. I think it's just really important to talk about things and like I'm not very active on social media, because I've been so bad in the past about it and I get some horrible comments about things.

'But I really want to be more open and talk about things on TikTok because I think it's important to show people that life isn't as shiny and bright as it is on social media.

'I have struggled so much since I was young with depression, anxiety and problems with addiction and becoming a model and being in that industry made it very difficult for me not to feel that way and just succumb to drugs and alcohol whenever I felt sad.

'I've been in a habit of doing that for the rest of my life up until now. And I've just got to a point where now I don't even know who I am and it's just like navigating your 20s f****** suck.'

She added: 'I think sometimes you become this person who you don't like, know or even recognise. I think I've gone to that place today where I just don't know who I am.'

When she is feeling low, Diane indulges in self-care. "I do things that make me happy: Call my mother, get some fresh air, read a book. Sometimes I have pineapple when I'm feeling sad. Guerrero is a tea drinker. Her go-to drink is cinnamon & honey tea. "[I] drink that 4 times a day for a week, then take a week off, and do it again for a week. That is for skin & reproductive health," she told HOLA!

Guerrero told HOLA! that she grows a small garden because she believes sustainable food sources are the key to securing a sustainable future. "I also eat papaya & granadilla (which is hard to find in the states but I have found it at some farmers markets) which is great for digestion," she said.

Diane takes care of her mental health. "Certainly now that my mental health is better, the treatment toward my body has been a lot better. That's the one thing that I've noticed that has been so good and so amazing. I'm not saying, 'Hey, self care is just taking a bath or a shower….' Generally, I kind of just stay clean. And I try to remember everything that I have, like stuff that makes me feel better," she told Well + Good.

Diane also gets her zen on. "I start off with meditation and a shower in the morning," she told Well + Good. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

Hurdler and fitness model Michelle Jenneke loves sharing her training sessions on social media, and her physique is nothing short of #fitnessinspo material. "Solid hit out today, 100m hurdles 12.90 +2.3w, 100m 11.64 +1.3w," she captioned the post.

Jenneke trains hard, mixing up cardio (of course) and strength training. "I do three track sessions a week, and they can be from 2-3 hours each, which can be full on," she told Body + Soul. "You do some warm up, a hurdle session, and then a sprint session after that. [I hit the] gym twice a week. It's a lot of heavy weights there, plus full body exercises and quite a bit of plyometric [exercises]. I start with heavy weights, and then I'll do some lighter functional circuit, towards the end. All up, that takes an hour and a half to two hours… and sometimes when I finish a session I just lie on the ground. I think to myself, 'it's just gym, why is it so hard?'"

Jenneke stays active for fun, and genuinely enjoys sports she doesn't necessarily excel at. "I am not a great swimmer but I love spending time in the pool or swimming at the beach during summer," she told Women Fitness. "I don't get much time for team sports anymore but I played soccer for 11 years and played lots of sports as I was growing up, so I still love kicking a ball around or playing Frisbee or touch footy etc. with friends."

Jenneke sometimes eats six meals a day to fuel her training. " It really depends on what my training day looks like, but if I've got training in the morning (which I often do at the moment) I'll have cereal generally before I go out and train," she told Body + Soul. "Then, I actually love having a Milo after a hard session – it's got good levels of protein and iron in it – and then I make myself a second breakfast, which could be muesli with yogurt or bacon and eggs. Lunch is pretty basic – usually I just have a sandwich – and then for dinner I like to keep it simple. I have either some pasta or some rice with meat and veggies."

Jenneke allows herself to gain weight in the off season so she can build muscle. "Once the competition season comes around I drop weight and eat a much healthier diet, with a lot more fruit and vegetables and red capsicum, grape tomatoes and berries replace my sweet tooth cravings," she told Women Fitness. "Regardless of the season I always eat a lot of carbs and pasta or potato are a daily must, plus I eat quite a lot of meat."

Jenneke's travel tips are to always opt for the carry-on instead of checking luggage. "[My musts for competitions are] my race uniform and competition shoes, both of which are obviously really important," she told Escape. "I like to travel with some cones I can put out on the track – they're really useful for warm-ups. I make sure I have a trigger ball and foam roller with me. Lastly, I always bring medication in case I get sick."

Sommer Ray is one of the most successful fitness models of all time. She shares a lot of workout secrets on social media and her website. Ray also has her own skincare line, IMARAÏS. Ray recently hit the gym, and made sure to look cute doing so. She shared a photo on her Instagram story of herself in a brown top and gray pants.

Ray shared some of her diet secrets in a post on her blog. In it, she revealed that while she tries to eat healthy, she also doesn't deny herself. "On the weekends, and on some weekdays, too, I also like to have a drink — typically, tequila — and whatever else I'm craving. If I want a slice of pizza, I have a slice of pizza. I want to look good, but I also want to enjoy life.

For Ray, protein plays a big role in her diet. "I try to eat 70 grams of protein a day to maintain my glute muscle mass by starting most mornings with a protein shake, my first of six small meals throughout the day," she wrote on her blog post. "Sometimes, I'll prepare grilled chicken, veggies and steamed white rice for each of these meals, but more often I'll eat out.

Ray loves to eat out, however, that doesn't mean that she eats a ton of unhealthy food. She shared her secrets for finding healthy options at restaurants on her post. "I love In-and-Out Burger! I take my burger without the bun. Then I get my starch later from starchy veggies and whole grains. At Jersey Mike's I'll usually double down on turkey to fill myself up with protein. At regular restos (like I said, I love eating out) I look for seasoned chicken with veggies and sweet potatoes for carbs.

In her blog post, Ray revealed that she does hamstring curls. She also says that she has found ways to do more intense curls. "Instead of just lying face down and hooking my ankles behind the bar to engage the back of my legs to bring the bar towards my butt (as directed), I lie face-up with my upper back on the pad, the soles of my feet on the ground, and the bar positioned against my hips. Then, I engage my hamstrings and butt to lift my hips against the resistance until my body forms a straight line between my knees and shoulders.

Of course, staying active isn't the only way Heather looks after herself. She also tries to follow a healthy diet.

"I do eat sugar sometimes, but as a broad rule, I try to just eat no sugar basically, and I have to say I feel a lot better," she told the publication. "And I will sometimes eat things with white flour, but I try to avoid white flour."
