Nicole Scherzinger is heating up the tropics in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts, the Masked Singer beauty shows off her impossibly fit figure in a bathing suit while enjoying a vacation in Austria. In her Instagram Reel she dives in the water and goes standup paddleboarding in the placid Black Sea.
Nicole makes sure her skincare products penetrate her skin by using a beauty gadget. "A lot of times before I have to get ready, if I have to be on camera or something, I will put on a face mask and put on some skincare and [my face massager] will either help absorb into the skincare or just help with inflammation or bloating," she explained to Allure.

"I actually grew up with my family taking the coconuts from their yard [in Hawaii], extracting the oil and sending it to me here in the mainland. Now, coconut is everywhere and it's awesome," Nicole told Allure. "It's really healthy for the skin and anti-bacterial, and you can use it for your hair and skin," she added to Cosmo UK.
"Scent is so important to me," she explained, "it's so therapeutic." Her favorites are florals, including Byredo's La Tulipe, body milk by Santa Maria Novella, and essential oils with lavender and rosehip.

"California dreamin," she captioned the Instagram post. "Lovely," commented one of her followers. "Beautiful," added another.
Elsa prioritizes rest. "I'm usually good with six or seven hours. I get 6 most of the time, but sometimes I sleep, like, 13 hours. Sleep is so important. I think more important than we know. When I haven't slept, I'm not myself. I'm not as easy-going," she told The Cut. According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z's is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.
Elsa doesn't believe in strict diets. "I am really bad at being on a diet. As soon as I tell myself, 'You have to eat this or that,' I am going to do the exact opposite, so I didn't tell myself anything. I just tried to stay away from processed food," she told ELLE.
"I try to eat healthy and a plant-based diet," Elsa dished to Coveteur. "I watched the documentary What the Health, and it affected me a lot. I was like, 'OK, I have to change how I eat.' In Sweden we eat a lot of dairy, cheese, and eggs, so I've cut that out for the past 5 weeks and I'm seeing a big improvement in my skin and in my belly. And I feel much better. It makes you realize there's definitely something to it."
Hosk likes to fight her way to a hot body. "I love boxing, and I try to mix it up as much as I can. Boxing makes you kind of tight, so it's really good to mix that with barre, pilates, or something that'll stretch you out and make you longer. I'm not the person that loves to be in the gym so much. I like to mix it up as much as possible, otherwise I'll get bored," she told Marie Claire.
"I just started running," Hosk told Coveteur. "I don't time it; I don't put any pressure on myself, I just go the pace I want. I think that's a really beautiful way to feel yourself and feel your body and see the city."
Elsa is all about lifting weights. "On the runway you're wearing really heavy wings and really high heels, so you need really strong legs so you don't fall," she told Coveteur.
Elsa also does dance-inspired workouts. "I've been training with Megan Roup, who does dance cardio. It's lots of toning moves for the glutes, legs, and arms. She's just really fun," she told Elle.

more...Former Russian number 1 tennis player Maria Sharapova actually took time away from her busy training schedule this summer to enjoy a much-needed vacation with her family. Sharapova, 36, shared some behind-the-scenes glimpses of her trip to Greece, including a snap of herself floating in beautiful clear waters in a yellow one-piece swimsuit. "A holiday during the summer?? Still feels new to me ?," she captioned the post. "Heaven," commented pal Jessica Alba.
Sharapova's typical workout consists of stretching, jogging on the beach, two hours of tennis practice, Pilates core exercises, and indoor/outdoor interval bike sessions. "I train five or six times a week for six hours a day with my trainer, Yutaka Nakamura, or one of my coaches," she says. "Playing professional tennis requires major dedication. If you take more than three days off, you can start to lose lean muscle. The athlete winds down with "Weekly sports massages and baths, both ice and hot, help relieve my tired muscles. I add Epsom salts and lavender essential oil."
Sharapova never skips breakfast on training days. "When I'm training, the most important 'on switch' is a healthy breakfast," she says. "I make a green smoothie with romaine lettuce, avocado, spinach, mint, and fresh-squeezed lemon juice. I also buy chestnut bread from the local farmers market and eat it with blanched almond butter. Candy [is my vice], no question about it. I've had a sweet tooth for as long as I can remember, and it's the reason I decided to start my own candy company, Sugarpova, seven years ago."
Like many athletes, Sharapova swears by good carbs for energy. "Carbs are important for my sport, but it's about finding the right balance between them and protein," she says. "In the morning, I have fruit, then rye toast with goat cheese and a piece of ham. When I'm playing tournaments, I try to minimize things that can create inflammation, like lactose, and goat cheese is easier for me to process than butter. For lunch, it's a protein like chicken and then soup, because I'm Russian and we love soups. For dinner, I'll have fish, like salmon or sea bass, and rice or potatoes."
Sharapova makes time for herself to drink coffee and journal before her family are up. "There's something very strong about thinking of something and making it official on a piece of paper," she says. "I've always believed in the power of that… Be kind to yourself. Knowing that you're taking care of someone else, I think you always do a better job when you are taken care of. The more you feel rejuvenated and replenished and your body and mind are in the right place, the more that projects onto the people around you."
Sharapova's glowing looks on the court are all natural. "I wear zero makeup on the court," she says. "I can't risk it running into my eyes. I tie a ponytail, pin the flyaways, and use L'Oréal Elnett hair spray. If I have time, I get a neutral manicure. When I'm not playing tennis, I like a fresh-faced glow. At night I'll wear a fun pink lip, Avon brow pencil, and Kanebo's Sensai concealer and mascara. I wash my hair daily, since I'm training and sweating."

In one of her recent social media posts the Victoria's Secret alum flaunts her incredible figure in a bathing suit while posing up a storm with Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls, photographer Jerome Duran, and husband Sunnery James. "Quality time with friends in Greece," she captioned the Instagram snaps.
Ballet Beautiful with Mary Helen Bowers is Doutzen's go-to workout. She takes the classic dance inspired class three times a week. "It keeps everything tight. I've worked out with her for two years and I really like the results," she told Vogue. "I used to always box and run, and with boxing, I would build a lot of muscle. After I had my son [Phyllon, age 3½], I started doing ballet. It makes you long and lean—it's like the Pilates look."
Doutzen has an ab hack: Stomach vacuuming. "One thing that I've always done since I was younger is suck in my stomach," she told Vogue about her fitness trick. "I think that gave me [ab] muscles. I don't even think about it—like when you sit in a car, use your core to sit up straight. You can work out sitting in a car! I did leg and butt exercises during my pregnancy, but I haven't done anything since I had my baby because I don't want to damage my stomach muscles. It's better to wait a while."
"Every morning I mix an orange, grapefruit, and lemon with wheatgrass or green powder in the blender," Doutzen revealed to Vogue. "It's very sour. It doesn't taste good at all, but I do it because it's healthy." She added that healthy eating was instilled in her as a child. "Growing up, my mom gave me really healthy food. Everything was fresh from the garden and organic before the organic hype. I still eat mostly organic food."
Doutzen also juices. "I love Juice Press because they have some juices that actually taste good. I like to order at night and get it in the morning, then I don't have to press anything myself," she said.
Doutzen's breakfast-of-choice is green juice, eggs, and avocado, and ends her day with fish and greens. For lunch she usually has a salad, or a salad and fries to "mix it up a little bit," she told Byrdie. She always brings healthy snacks with her. "I always like to have mixed raw nuts with me for when I get hungry—especially when I was pregnant I was scared I wasn't getting enough—or a banana."

more...Bulgarian sprinter Ivet Lalova-Collio took some time off from her intense training regimen to don a swimsuit and spend quality time with friends at the Gloria Verde Resort in Turkey. Lalova-Collio, 39, shared a beautiful picture of herself posing in a white and tan bikini on a dock, against a background of blue sea and skies. "GIRLS ??", her friend Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk—a champion long jumper—captioned the post. The Olympian athlete has an incredibly impressive strong physique, and she works hard to maintain her tone and muscle.
Lalova-Collio's training routine is what you would expect from an Olympian—she runs and lifts heavy weights. "In the winter I do a lot of weights, at least 3 times and tempo runs after," she says. "In the summer I do fewer weights, but lots of high intensity running. I have weeks that I don't have a day without putting on my spikes. I think about big championships from the moment I step on the track. Knowing that you have to be at your best there is taking me slowly to the moment and the day of the race. At the day I love some music during the warm-up, I do some strides, some active stretching, getting faster and faster in about 1 hour before the competition."
Lalova-Collio recognizes how important diet is—especially for an athlete—when it comes to staying fit and healthy. "If I organize myself around training and what I have to eat and around sport, it's easier so the days goes almost like normal," she says. "It's all about training, resting and recovery. I spend more time cooking – I really want to eat good and I keep telling people 'don't worry so much about exercise,' be careful because if you stay home all day, you end up eating so be careful about that so I pay more attention to diet."
Lalova-Collio didn't let pandemic lockdowns get in the way of her training regimen—instead, she became creative about working out outside of the traditional gym environment. "We have a state of emergency – we are not under a lockdown – but we have a lot of restrictions," she says. "We can't go to parks, tracks are closed, gyms are closed but it's your choice if you want to go out but we all prefer to stay home as much as possible. It's tough times for people who train like us! We run in the streets but I keep saying that athletics is a 'poor' sport – we don't need that much to do what we do. We run, we jump, we do the basic things the human body can do although we try and improve them into something superhuman. Even if we have to run on the street or have to run on the stairs in our building, we are going to make it!"
Lalova-Collio says a serious accident that almost derailed her career in 2005 was actually the making of her. "I love to say that what saved me when the accident happened was that I was really young," she says. "I was 21 years old. By that time and in my head, there was no possibility that I'm not coming back and I'm not running again. So I had no idea what I'm facing and how long it's going to take and how hard it's going to be and I never thought about it. Of course, I had my dark moment and as I said, I cried a lot. It was really tough for me watching the World Championships in Helsinki later, that the same season that I wanted so bad to be there and compete. But I worked, even on that and it saved me, but mostly my motivation to come back saved me."
Lalova-Collio says if she could go back in time and give advice to her younger self, it would be to surround herself with positive people who encourage her, and get rid of negative people who would hold her back. "You will later work with a mental coach and discover many empowering things inside of you," she says. "You will read books on the subject and by training your brain you'll reach that state of feeling just how you want to feel – which is so important in both training and competition. I'd also say make sure you surround yourself with supportive and positive people."

"Hawaii vlog ??☀️?? this place forever has my heart," she captioned the Instagram Reel. In it, she visits a few hotels including Turtle Bay and the Hilton Hawaiian Village, both on Oahu.
Even while on vacation, Claire gets a workout in. In her recent video from Hawaii you can find her jogging up a storm. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
Claire spends a lot of time in the gym weight and strength-training. She does a lot of body weight exercises and also uses free weights, regularly sharing her workout videos on social media. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
Claire, who identifies more as a dancer than a cheerleader, does "dance training" workouts. "Getting stronger every day," she captioned a post. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.
Claire also does a lot of cardio. While at the gym she cycles, rows, and runs on a treadmill. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis. According to AFPA Fitness, a rowing machine exercises your upper body as well as your lower body. "The rowing stroke when using an indoor rower is composed of 65-75% leg work and 25-35% upper body work," they say.
Claire also loves to hike. "All I can say is WOW GOD," she captioned one of her Instagram photos, taken while on a hike in Arizona. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
"Building stronger muscles and bones
Improving your sense of balance
Improving your heart health
Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems"

Cheryl's workout of choice is strength training. "Now I go to F45 four times a week," she told NTL. Should you lift weights? Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
Cheryl relies on the workout buddy system for accountability. For awhile it was her fiancé, Dean, who she recently split with. "In the first year with Dean, we were just eating like animals, we were so comfortable, we thought, 'You're going to love me no matter what!'" she told Now to Love. "At the start of this year, we both decided to get back into the gym and get things under control."
Cheryl is all about self-care. One of her methods is taking baths, which have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
Cheryl also gets outside and hikes and goes mountain climbing. "What an incredible experience," she captioned this photo of herself in Switzerland. "Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.
Whenever she is vacationing by the water you can find Cheryl jet skiing. According to Health Fitness Revolution, the average 150-pound rider will burn a surprising 238 calories during a half-hour ride. The sport is also great for cardiovascular endurance.
Cheryl abides by a healthy diet. For breakfast she eats overnight oats. "I have something like tuna and crackers for lunch, then almonds or fruit for a snack," she told NTL. "At home for dinner, we'll just make some kind of chicken and veggies or salad – we try not to eat carbs in the evening."

The social media influencer and model shared a video of herself lounging around a stunning pool in a tiny bikini, diving into the crystal water. "Somewhere in the south of France," she captioned the post.
Simpson shares her HIIT workouts on social media, so fans can copy her exact exercises. "[HIIT workouts] don't require as much time as a regular workout (some can take as little as 10 minutes)," says Matthew Haines, Head of Division of Sport, Exercise & Nutrition Sciences, University of Huddersfield. "And research shows they improve fitness, lower blood pressure and help people better manage their blood sugar levels – which may aid in weight loss and prevent disease, such as type 2 diabetes."
Simpson loves fresh fruit for a healthy snack, especially watermelon. Watermelon is a good choice for a refreshing bite, especially during warmer weather, although it's beneficial at any time of year. "We think of watermelon as a fun, seasonal food for barbeques and the beach, but it's also really good for you," says registered dietitian Lara Whitson, RD, LD. "It's low in calories, keeps you hydrated and provides many other nutrients that can help you maintain good health."
Simpson enjoys seafood, with sushi and sashimi being her favorite. Experts recommend low-mercury fish—for example sardines or salmon—be included as part of a healthy diet. "Try to eat at least two servings a week of fish, especially fish that's rich in omega-3 fatty acids," say the experts at the Mayo Clinic. "Doing so appears to reduce the risk of heart disease, particularly sudden cardiac death."
Simpson enjoys hiking, especially while traveling. Hiking is a great low-impact exercise, and provides all the benefits of working out in nature. "When you're dressed for success, hiking is a great total-body workout," says Michael Bednarz, DPM, FACFAS, a podiatric surgeon at Piedmont. "It strengthens the large muscles in your body, while stimulating the feel-good chemical hormones of adrenaline and endorphins that boost your mood and energy levels."
Simpson loves red wine, which experts say should be enjoyed in moderation. Red wine has long been considered a heart-healthy choice thanks to resveratrol, but research has been limited. "Resveratrol helps activate an enzyme called telomerase, which protects genome integrity," says cardiologist Dennis Bruemmer, MD. "And because of that, this resveratrol has been associated with preventing cardiovascular disease and actually extending longevity… It has never really been proven in people."

In one of her latest social media posts the volleyball star flaunts her amazing body in a black bathing suit with a plunging neckline. "Happy Monday," she captioned the post with her followers. "Your gonna break the internet!" commented Nicole Pedra. "You are absolutely perfect," commented another follower.
Kayla is a water baby and can often be found in the ocean. Two of her favorite activities are swimming and snorkeling. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits of putting on a mask and fin may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.
Kayla is a surfer. There are many health benefits of the sport including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthen from the paddling, and leg and core strength. "Once you're standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up," the Australian government's Better Health says.
"Being a former college athlete & growing up around sports has taught me to push myself to the limit," Kayla said in an interview. "College athletics was a great experience for me, but it also taught me some valuable lessons. I was told by my school administrators that the pictures I post are inappropriate because of my body, I was even asked to delete my Instagram at one point. I was torn bc I felt I couldn't embrace my body & play the sport I love. I've since learned that you can't let other people affect how you feel about yourself." She added to The Post in July 2019 that she hopes younger fans "know that it's okay to just be yourself and feel confident."
Kayla also enjoys hiking. "Hawaii has my heart," she captioned this photo from one of her hikes. Simmons, who has been dubbed the "world's sexiest volleyball player," addressed plastic surgery rumors during a Q&A on YouTube. "I got zero silicone. I'm all natural, I'm sick of answering that one, but yeah," Simmons responded when asked, "How much silicone did you get?"

Smith, 29, posted a picture of herself posing, looking on top of the world. "16yr old Steph would be SCREAMING?❤️ Excited to share what I shot yesterday ?," she captioned the post. Fans immediately started speculating as to what she might be hinting at. "It's gotta be VS ? I remember when you were going to castings ???," one commented.
Smith appreciates the benefits of a calm, happy start to the day. "These days I have really been enjoying a slower start to the day," she says. "I used to jump out of bed and smash out a workout and have brekkie on the go on my way to work (definitely still have these mornings now and then) but I take my time when I can. I start with either a yoga flow or a walk with Ari my dog and I've found that has helped my mood and headspace so much throughout the day. Sometimes when life is busy and I'm a little stressed, fast-paced mornings are the worst!"
Smith works out several times a week and likes to mix up her exercises. "I definitely listen to my body, but on average I'd say I workout five to six days a week," she says. "But it's broken up into different activities – I might go on two runs, do two HIIT workouts or strength workouts and then fill in the other days with yoga or walking."
Smith enjoys a healthy diet with plenty of good fats and protein. "Lunch is generally poached eggs with avocado, spinach, and gluten-free bread," she says. "Mid-afternoon, I like a KIC Bliss Ball (available in selected Cole's supermarkets) for something sweet. As for dinner, it's always different—typically anything with meat and vegetables. All of my favorite dinners are in the KIC program, like the Surf n Turf Salad, or Baked Sticky Chicken with Greens.
Smith doesn't believe in restrictive eating patterns and punishing workouts. "It's all about balance," she says. "Nothing too strict, basically the 80:20 rule. Listen to your body and fuel it with the right things, and treat yourself the other 20 percent of the time with food that makes you happy. When it comes to exercise, find what works for your body and what you enjoy doing. A workout shouldn't be punishment."
Smith winds down for the day with tea and reading, and makes an effort not to scroll on her phone in bed. "I can't end the day without a peppermint tea," she says. "It's a habit that now is set in my routine as the last thing that I consume for the day and so now it makes me sleepy. I love chocolate, I would have chocolate almost every night of the week! But I try not to have it too close to bedtime."

For lunch she keeps it simple, eating a salad with protein for lunch. She usually waits until after her shows to have dinner. "When I'm out there, I make it count. I know I'll feel awful if I don't eat right after burning all those calories in the show," she dished to Women's Health. For dinner, she will eat another salad, like skinless chicken over spinach with lemon vinaigrette.
Maren's workout method of choice? Regular HIIT sessions with Nashville-based trainer Erin Oprea. When she can't make it into the studio she uses Erin's Pretty Little Muscles app. Her workouts usually involve jump roping followed by bodyweight resistance strength training, doing exercises like front and side planks, pushups, squats, lunges, and a combo of the latter two. "Squat lunges are the worst," she said "They're so hard because that's the area I need it most—my thighs and butt." She then moves to the BOSU ball and does crunches and core work, followed by weight lifting with free weights.
Maren also stays fit by hitting the court. "She has been playing tennis," Opera told E News. "I encourage clients to do their cardio outside of me. Sports are always the best way because when you're chasing a ball, you're not thinking about cardio." In her latest post, the singer shows her love of the sport by attending the US Open.
Maren is an avid reader, sharing a photo of her latest book stack in her latest post. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
Maren is a big proponent of therapy. After welcoming her son, Maren battled postpartum depression, and her husband, Ryan Hurd, guided her toward the mental health help she needed. "I do check-ins all the time [with] therapy, which I've done for years, and my husband was a huge help diagnosing that too," she told People. "Sometimes it's just someone really close to you saying, 'Are you OK?' It's so simple, but it kind of snaps you out of whatever fog you're in that you think is normal, but isn't."

Pettis, 25, shared a series of pictures of herself enjoying the sun and sea with friends, including a snap of herself posing on the sand in a gorgeous orange bikini and trucker hat. "August slipped away into a moment in time," she captioned the post. "Why was this literally the best month every ❤️? missing u alreadyyyy," commented friend Torri Webster.
Pettis practices Pilates using a reformer machine. "A lot of people have weak core and back muscles, and strengthening these postural muscles helps balance out the tension that results from this weakness," says athletic trainer Leanne Wonesh. "This is especially great for people who sit at desks for long periods of time because having stronger core and back muscles can help pull you out of those classic desk postures that cause tension and pain in your shoulders and legs."
Pettis is just one of many people who have discovered a love for pickleball. "Pickleball is a great form of cardiovascular exercise that helps get your heart rate up," says Kaitlyn Jacobson, Physician Assistant at Renown Urgent Care – Ryland. "It can lead to better cholesterol and blood pressure levels, lowering your risk of heart disease. Since pickleball is a low-impact sport and easy on the body, it's a great way to get movement in and maintain healthy bones, joints and muscles. By playing pickleball, you'll reduce the rate of bone loss and help conserve bone tissue."
Pettis has battled acne over the years, and is thankful for professional guidance in dealing with it. "I felt more comfortable on camera because I was working with hair and makeup artists on sets," she says. "I felt lucky that I had professionals guiding me on what was best for my skin, how to take care of it after wearing a lot of heavy makeup on set and [teaching me] the best ways to cover up my acne. I've taken notes and done my due diligence… [My skin] doesn't love when I try a bunch of new things. I've learned that less is more — if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Pettis doesn't feel the need to wear makeup every day. "Beauty to me means doing what makes you feel good about yourself, no matter what other people think about it," she says. "Some days I feel great without makeup, and some days I want to do a full beat. Don't ever let someone tell you what you should do to be beautiful. Do you."
Pettis has learned how to take care of her beautiful curly hair. "One important tip for curly hair is getting it trimmed regularly and finding a hair stylist who cuts curly hair properly," she says. "They need to cut it while it's dry, ringlet by ringlet, so you can accurately see how much is getting cut, so it doesn't end up being shorter than you wanted. For years, I got hair cuts while my hair was wet. Curly hair is longer when it's wet and shrinks up when it's dry. So I had a few traumatizing haircuts where it looked like they were only cutting off one inch, but once it dried, they had actually cut like four inches. Another tip is to dry curly hair with a microfiber towel to prevent frizz. Deep conditioners are also my best friend—my hair can't get enough moisture."

Pula wasn't readyyyyy ?? ?Thanks to @grandhotelbrionipula for organizing all the fun!" she captioned the post.
Strength training is Ashley's go-to workout. "Lifting gets my heart rate up and makes me look amazing, but more importantly it makes me feel strong. Scrap that, I don't just feel strong – I am strong, and I think it's important for women to feel that way," she told Coach. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
Ashley incorporates other workouts into her life. "I love spin, I love yoga, I love boxing, weight training, dancing. And oh my god I'm obsessed right now with this class at the XR; it's the best cardio and the music! They have the best playlist and if you close your eyes, it's like you're in Mykonos or something," she told Express UK.
"I'm pretty much a vegan now, but I don't think having to eat that informed my decision – not consciously at least. I try to have a good diet," Ashley told Coach about her approach to diet. "Every now and then I'll have a treat, but I love most healthy foods so it's not as if I'm depriving myself. My trainer sometimes worries I'm not getting enough protein, but I have vegan protein smoothies to make up for the lack of meat and fish."
Ashley drinks her nutrients. "Most mornings I blend up a bunch of organic greens, such as kale and spinach, add some raw fruit such as banana, avocado and blueberries, then finish it off with some almond milk and maybe some agave if my sweet tooth needs satisfying. Finally, I add some vegan protein powder to ensure I hit my quota for the day. Try it. Even if you're not vegan I guarantee you'll love it," she told Coach.
Ashley also makes sure to get her steps in. "Even if there is a day where I am not working out hard, I try to get outside and just go for a walk and be in nature. It is a part of my life and I enjoy it and it makes me feel good," she told Express.
Ashley maintains that one "overlooked" secret for health is hydration. "Coming from the desert, we have to drink water to stay hydrated. It is so overlooked in a sense but drinking lots of water is really good to stay hydrated, to stay flushed, and to stay healthy. Drink the H2O kids!" she told Express.
In her latest post, Ashley proves that she stays active on vacation by jet skiing. According to Health Fitness Revolution, the average 150-pound rider will burn a surprising 238 calories during a half-hour ride. The sport is also great for cardiovascular endurance.

Dewan does a variety of things to keep herself in shape. "My go-to workout is Pilates, which has really strengthened and toned my body in a way that makes me feel stronger than when I was dancing for ten hours a day," she told Well + Good. "I also like cardio yoga. Sometimes, I work out with my trainer when I need to bulk up to get my muscles a little bigger. I get bored easily with workouts so I like to switch it up."
Dewan opened up about her diet in her Well + Good interview. She says that she alters the size of her lunch and dinner, so she isn't eating too large meals. "I'll either have a big lunch and small dinner, or a small dinner and big lunch—depending on if I have a work meeting or not, and how my body is feeling. If I have two big meals, my body just doesn't feel good."
Dewan shared some of her favorite healthy meals in her Well + Good interview. She says that she likes to eat grain bowls. "Typically for lunch I'll have a grain bowl, made with quinoa, black beans, tomatoes, cucumber, and heart of palm—or honestly whatever veggies are in my fridge at the time. I'll have some tortilla chips on the side, too. There's a chipotle sauce I like to buy from Whole Foods that's a little spicy and hot, so I like to add that on top with some lemon juice, salt, and pepper. I love dishes that have some kick to it."
Dewan eats a plant-based diet, and it's not just to be healthier. She explains to People, "I also choose to eat plant-based foods because not only is it healthy and yummy, but I feel ethically right. We have become so off-balance with our animal consumption. Even one meatless meal a week helps!"
Dewan revealed to People that she believes in moderation when it comes to food. "I consider eating healthy a way of life because I feel better, plain and simple," she said. "I'm not a fan of dieting, which is why I choose to eat healthy most of the time. I keep it in balance, so I don't have to crash diet. When I want to splurge I allow myself and don't beat myself up — I just make a plan to eat extra healthy the next day or work out."

"Everyone has their own insecurities, regardless of how you look or how people perceive you, but sometimes people give their insecurities too much power." Aoki told Tarts in an exclusive interview, via Fox News. "Defining beauty is simply a matter of opinion. For me, real beauty has very little to do with the structure of someone's face or body."
For her role in the Mutant Chronicles, Devon did a lot of arm work. "I had to pump my arms up quite a bit. They were a little on the weak side when we started and by the end of filming, I was pretty rock solid," she told Tarts. "The funny thing was most the boys got dummy guns that weigh very little, and I got the real McCoy! I was running around with a 30-pound gun under my arm for the entire film. That might have been their way of telling me I needed some muscles!"
Devon enjoys swimming in the ocean. Here she is with one of her kids, swimming with fins on. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
Devon maintains a healthy and nutritious diet filled with lots of fruits and veggies. She even grows her own produce. "Colors of summer. Vegetable garden booty!" she captioned a recent post.
Devon practices regular meditation. "The quieter you become, the more you can hear. -Baba Ram Das," she captioned a post. "When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress," says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:
Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
Building skills to manage your stress
Increasing self-awareness
Focusing on the present
Reducing negative emotions
Increasing imagination and creativity
Increasing patience and tolerance
Lowering resting heart rate
Lowering resting blood pressure
Improving sleep quality
Devon enjoys outdoor workouts, like hiking. "Nature + family = everything I (ever) wished for ," she captioned a post. "Many people feel a lot of tension about working out, losing weight and lowering their blood pressure," ShaNay Norvell, a certified fitness instructor who leads classes at Cancer Wellness, tells Piedmont Health. "Outdoor exercise is enjoyable and feels more like play than a chore."

In it, Lakshmi posed in a brown swimsuit with puka shells on it, from her recent shoot with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. Lakshmi captioned the photo, "This year I was so blessed, with family and friends who were there for me, cradled me, uplifted me, made me laugh, and reminded me of how rich a life we can live- if we are open to change. I won't say it's been all roses, there have been moments of serious anxiety, insecurity and just feeling lost and low.
But then even in those moments, I realized there was a benefit to be had. A muscle to be strengthened. My heart is open and I am so very grateful. What a glorious year of growth and gratitude.
These pics were of course a milestone, but just the tip of the iceberg. I love you all for being here with me, thank you for following along. I really like your company.
Lakshmi shared one of her go-to workouts in an interview with People. "I've been boxing for over 20 years on and off when my joints permit," she says. "I love boxing. I mean, as much as boxing has helped me physically, it's done way more for me mentally. And I highly recommend it for anyone who's looking to feel more grounded, more focused and more in their body, as well as have more clarity."
Lakshmi's job is to eat food. Naturally, she has to do a lot of working out to combat this. She opened up about her fitness regime to E! News. "Honestly, the secret is just living in the gym. I spend a lot of time working out. I work out at least five or six days a week for one or two hours a day. I have to, because I'm working with food. I have two TV shows that both require me to eat a ton of food."
Lakshmi has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. She tells Into The Gloss that she uses a lot of organic products. "If I'm retaining water, or if I have a big shoot coming up and I want to slim down, I use topical diuretics, which are available at any health food store. I also just use plain old honey in the shower to draw out any impurities in my face. It's antibacterial, but it's also a smoothing agent. You cleanse your skin, and then put the honey on a dry face—if you put honey on a wet face, it'll slide. Then you just play the piano on your skin. If I break out, I also use tea tree oil. I put it in a pot of water, and I literally just steam, like you would if you had a cold. Or I carry a little thing of the essential oil in my makeup case so I can put a little bit on—just a little bit, because it will burn you."
Lakshmi tells Into The Gloss that she eats mostly veggies and plant-based foods. "I'm much more simple about my food choices as I've gotten older and become a mother," she explained. "It's also just what's happening in food, right? We're all eating more whole, less processed foods. I've actually gone back to eating a lot like I ate when I was a child, which is really mostly plant-based. Once in a while some bacon or veal, but mostly it's just poultry and fish. A lot of lentils, a lot of beans—50% of my diet is fruits and vegetables."
Lakshmi tells Into The Gloss that she does a lot of different exercises. "I do everything. If I think it'll help, I do it. I box, I jump rope, I do calisthenics—old-school pushups, and mountain climbers, and sit ups. Things you can do on the floor without any help. But I also go to the gym—the grungier the gym, I find, the better, because they're the ones that have the real machines. I also do a lot of Pilates. I've found that in the way that boxing transformed my body 15 years ago, Pilates has really done that for me now. Because I have some lower-back issues, I can't do certain things that are higher impact. Like, I no longer am able to hit a heavy bag, but I can do a speed bag. So, the boxing is really for me to burn as many calories as I can, because of all the food I'm consuming. The Pilates started out as a way to make my back stronger, but has really transformed my body."

Ahead of her new album's release, Ballerini took a trip to Italy. She shared some highlights on Instagram this week. In one photo, she is seen sunbathing in a swimsuit.
Ballerini opened up about her fitness routine to Women's Health. She says that she is getting back into ballet. "I'm just trying to see what my body remembers and then relearn the art of it, because it's so beautiful. It's the little micro muscles in your ankles and in your inner thighs, and the (idea) that there's a string pulling you directly up to the ceiling while your toes are pushing down into the ground."
In her Women's Health interview, Ballerini talked about her approach to fitness. She says that while touring with the Jonas Brothers, she began to over-exercise. Ballerini says that she is trying to change this approach, and is not working out unless she feels like it's best for her. "As someone that's really struggled with body image my whole life, I really have to be checked in to, 'Am I doing this for the right reasons?' I felt like by the end of that tour, I was starting to detach from the correct reasons for working out."
Ballerini shared some of her skincare secrets with WhoWhatWear, including how she washes her face. "Well, I think the first thing is that in the last few years, I've switched from just using makeup wipes to actually washing my face [laughs]. I mean, I'm finally acting like I'm in my late 20s now. It's about time! But yeah, my morning routine is to wash with Skin Pharm's Gentle Soothing Cleanser ($40), and then I use hyaluronic acid, and then I use Skin Pharm's Glow Factor Vitamin C Serum ($150), their Eye Sculpt ($75)—which is an eye cream—and then the SPF. It's a whole thing!"
Ballerini tells WhoWhatWear that she likes to walk to stay in shape. "Right now, my workout routine is really just walking outside and getting fresh air and vitamin D from the sun, hanging out with my dog. … That's what feels like a healthy place for me. When my body tells me it's time to get back into the gym or do weight training or SoulCycle or all those things I've been doing over the last few years, then I'll start going back in that direction."
Ballerini shared her favorite sunscreen in her WhoWhatWear interview. "There's a place in Nashville called Skin Pharm, and my friend Maegan founded it. They have stores all over now, but the OG is in Nashville, and she has completely changed my skin. I use all of her stuff, and she has a 100% Mineral Tinted SPF ($60) that's been a huge game changer for my skin."

Hydration takes the spotlight as she emphasizes its importance, backed by CDC guidelines. Coffee becomes more than a morning ritual, with Johns Hopkins research suggesting liver benefits for enthusiasts.
Candidly recalling moments from her reality TV stint, Barnes reveals her rule-breaking tendencies. Amid fame's ups and downs, she openly discusses the end of her "showmance" with Mitchel Taylor.
"Getting enough water every day is important for your health. Drinking water can prevent dehydration, a condition that can cause unclear thinking, result in mood change, cause your body to overheat, and lead to constipation and kidney stones," says the CDC, which offers these tips for drinking more:
"Carry a water bottle with you and refill it throughout the day.
Freeze some freezer-safe water bottles. Take one with you for ice-cold water all day long.
Choose water over sugary drinks.
Opt for water when eating out. You'll save money and reduce calories.
Serve water during meals.
Add a wedge of lime or lemon to your water. This can help improve the taste."
"Both regular and decaf coffee seem to have a protective effect on your liver. Research shows that coffee drinkers are more likely to have liver enzyme levels within a healthy range than people who don't drink coffee," says Johns Hopkins. "One in 23 women develop colon cancer. But researchers found that coffee drinkers — decaf or regular — were 26 percent less likely to develop colorectal cancer."
"You would get really told off if there was two girls in the bathroom at one time… There was only, like, a couple of plugs in the dressing room but there was a massive extension lead in the off-camera bathroom, which is upstairs, and just us girls used it," she told Closer. "And Whitney would be in there using the hot comb for her wigs for ages and if one of us girls needed to go to the toilet or anything like that, we would just go in. But they could hear us talking, so yeah, you'd would get really told off. They'd be like, 'Girls, not two of you in the bathroom at one time!' So yeah, that would happen all the time."
Mitchel Taylor and Barnes had a "showmance" that is now over. "Just wanted to come on here and keep you all updated, as you deserve to know as I wouldn't be where I am without you," she shared this week. "Unfortunately, myself and Mitch have decided to end our relationship. I really wanted things to work out and I'm gutted that our journey has come to an end."
"When the numbers from nearly 46 million blood pressure readings were crunched, the researchers found exposure to UV sunlight was associated with lower systolic blood pressure (the first number in a blood pressure reading) regardless of the temperature. It's the first time a large study has shown that, said the lead author, Dr. Richard Weller," reports the American Heart Association.
Although more research is to be done, Weller told the AHA dermatologists "need to stop fixating on the harm UV can do and stand back and acknowledge the fact that there is a growing body of evidence showing that it also has benefits on health."

I don't know what will happen tomorrow, but as a woman I am very involved in my work. It's not that I couldn't before, but there were things that I had to choose and I always chose my family first. I would like to return to acting."
Montijo makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She says to People that her secret is doing workouts that she actually likes. "You have to find an exercise that you like. If you take exercise as therapy it changes everything, you shouldn't take exercise as mandatory."
Montijo talked about her diet and eating secrets in her People interview. She says that she doesn't like to diet or restrict herself. She also says that she will indulge once in a while. Montijo tells People that she eats a lot of protein in her diet. "I've found that eating right, eating protein in the morning, at night and in the morning [does good]." Piedmont states that protein has a lot of benefits. "Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are comprised mostly of protein."
In an interview, Montijo talked about her struggles with her heart. She says that she is seeing a doctor and taking medication to help. "Literally yes, I already became hypertensive. The heart stroke thing, well, I'm on medication, pericarditis too. I carry my pressure device, before I carried my heels in my hand, now I carry the pressure device but everything is under control. What the cardiologist tells me about a stroke in the heart sounds scandalous, but when the heart feels attacked by a virus, the heart itself expels a fluid to protect itself, so that fluid must be removed with medication, so far it is with medicines, he told me: 'You're not going to die from that.'"
