Brooks Nader is one of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's most well-known models. She's been modeling for the catalog for five years now. And she's currently their cover star. SI Swim shared Nader's cover on Twitter this week. In it, Nader posed in front of the ocean in a red swimsuit.
Nader opened up about her diet and exercise to the Daily Mail. She says that when it comes to her diet, she makes sure that she has a plan that is sustainable. "I think that you can totally drive yourself crazy if you go on insane diets for long periods of time," she said. "You're just going to crack. It's taken me a while to just do everything in moderation — try to eat healthy as much as you can."
Nader makes sure to eat healthy. However, she also believes in moderation and isn't afraid of having a cheat day once in a while. "I try and stay away from sugar and dairy but if I have a craving, I'll definitely satisfy it," she told the Daily Mail. "Any 'diet' a person goes under should just consist of healthy eating, but don't beat up yourself if you need to satisfy that fried chicken craving — I am Southern after all."
Nader opened up about her diet in an interview with SI Swim. She says that she likes to intermittent fast, and only eats during a certain time of day. "I start eating at 12 p.m. and have my last meal at 8 p.m.," she says. "So it's only an eight-hour eating period." John Hopkins Medicine reports that intermittent fasting has a lot of benefits. "Intermittent fasting works by prolonging the period when your body has burned through the calories consumed during your last meal and begins burning fat."
Nader shared some of her diet to SI Swim. She says that she likes to take probiotics each day. "And first thing in the morning, I take a probiotic with a large glass of water." The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health states, "Probiotics have shown promise for a variety of health purposes, including prevention of antibiotic-associated diarrhea (including diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile), prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis and sepsis in premature infants, treatment of infant colic, treatment of periodontal disease, and induction or maintenance of remission in ulcerative colitis."
Nader shared some of her favorite healthy options with SI Swim. "For breakfast, I usually have avocado toast with a poached egg and coffee," she says. "Lunch typically consists of a salad or sandwich. For my salad, I usually create my own from Sweetgreen or Chop't [in NYC] with kale, spinach, romaine, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions, bell peppers and balsamic dressing. Otherwise, my sandwich is chicken salad. I love having a rice bowl, sushi or pasta for dinner. The rice bowl I usually get from Cava, and it comes with white rice, crazy feta, chicken, onions, tomatoes and spicy peppers."

Sluss starts the day with fresh celery juice. "A healthy morning ritual that I follow every single day is drinking celery juice on an empty stomach," she says. "I swear by it! It helps me with bloating and has really cleared up my skin. My favorite is Suja Organic celery juice- my fridge is stocked with it."
Sluss says breakfast is a non-negotiable as she always eats fresh strawberries, which she calls an obsession. "Strawberries give you a lot of nutritional value for very few calories," says Bailey Flora, MS, RDN, LD. "They're tasty but naturally low in sugar. That's a combination that's hard to beat."
Sluss's favorite workout is running. "I absolutely love running! I've taken this time during quarantine to train for a half marathon," she says. "I also enjoy taking long walks with Bala ankle weights. I really like to integrate P.Volve into my workout routine because it's low impact and perfect for sculpting. Five must-do morning stretches would be a downward dog, child's pose, side oblique stretch, and single-leg stretch. Relaxation to me means getting to a place where I can enjoy freedom from stress and feel at peace with exactly where I am at that moment."
For Sluss, mental health is as important as physical health. "One of my goals is to not be so hard on myself," she says. "I am constantly working towards that goal everyday, it's not something you achieve overnight! Being healthy isn't just physical. It's also mental, spiritual, and ultimately loving yourself to not listen to those negative voices in your own head!"
Sluss's diet secrets are based on sensible choices and balance. "Two diet secrets I would share would be to listen to your body and eat when you are hungry," she says. "Starving yourself is never a good idea. I also think that drinking water is so important. I try to drink at least a gallon a day to stay hydrated and I find that it curbs my appetite and helps with my skin. The second secret would be to eliminate processed foods. When I go to the grocery store I try to stay away from the middle isles and choose fresh produce, vegetables and meats. I try to avoid buying processed snacks and eat from the refrigerator as much as I can."

Ajtar does weight and resistance training at the gym, which is good for fat burning, muscle support, and bone health. "Strength training, in particular, has bone benefits beyond those offered by aerobic weight-bearing exercise," says Harvard Health. "It targets bones of the hips, spine, and wrists, which are the sites most likely to fracture."
Ajtar makes sure to get enough walking throughout the day, either outside or on a treadmill. "Walking helps make your heart more efficient," says cardiologist Tamanna Singh, MD. "As you're improving your fitness, your heart actually becomes more effective with each heart pump that it provides for that type of exercise."
Ajtar loves fresh salads, especially made with cucumber. "Cucumbers can help with disease prevention, weight management and digestion," says Amber Sommer, RD, LD. "And because they are readily available and easy to eat, everyone can reap the benefits."
Ajtar relies on discipline when she isn't in the mood to work out. "Really could not be one bit bothered today; but I reminded myself it's me vs me yesterday and if it were easy, everyone would do it!" she says. "Mental resilience is key in getting the body you want and motivation is only what gets you started, but it won't keep you going! If you're feeling like you need to gym today or should train; just do it even if it's for 20 minutes it's still something! I promise you you're never leaving a session no matter how short / long feeling bad; you're only going to feel amazing and build up that mental strength for consistency!"
Ajtar never skips her daily stretching sessions. "Stretching is a huge part of your muscle growth that's super underrated," she says. "Even if you're a weight trainer and you lift heavy (I personally don't and never have lifted super heavy), by stretching the muscles properly you're elongating your muscle and allowing a deeper range of motion."

Díaz, 38, shared pictures of herself looking sunkissed and beautiful in a one-piece black swimsuit, posing on the beach in Miami, Florida. "Happy Monday to all of us who got up early!! ??♀️," she captioned the post. "Forever beautiful," a fan commented.
Díaz says her physique is the result of hard work and discipline. "I'm better now than I was at 18!" she says. "After thirty I understood that the best way to be well is by training. I do it five times a week, one hour a day. it's hard for me… But it's the only way. I imagine that people look at the photos and say: 'Look at the genetics of this girl!' And no, nothing to do [with that]… I kill myself training!"
Díaz lets herself relax on the weekends without feeling bad about it. "I try to eat salads, chicken, fish, a fairly healthy diet," she says. "Of course: on weekends I indulge myself and eat everything. If you train five days in a row and you can't eat chocolate without guilt, it's not life!"
Díaz's workouts consist of low impact training, something that was especially useful after giving birth to her daughter. "I am lucky that my body adjusts quickly," she says. "I am privileged. During pregnancies I relax because it is a unique moment." Diaz then does "abdominals, squats and everything the doctor allows me to be perfect again."
Díaz works on her inner happiness as well as outer appearance. "You see the 'outside' change but believe me it is a consequence of everything I feel inside," she says. "How happy I am, and how hard I am working for my goals."
Yoga is a core part of Díaz's wellness and workout regimen. "Drugs and talk therapy have traditionally been the go-to remedies for depression and anxiety," says Harvard Health. "But complementary approaches, such as yoga, also helps, and yoga stacks up well when compared with other complementary therapies."

It also has social and psychological benefits."
Homs makes sure to stay in shape. She shared this video on her Instagram of herself doing different exercises in her home gym. In it, Homs is seen doing different lower body workouts. Homs does squats with a weight, side lunge squats, bridge raises, and box step-ups with a leg raise. Homs captioned the video, "Routine."
Homs likes to do planks and plank exercises to stay in shape. In the previous Instagram video, Homs is seen doing plank dips. Planks and plank exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic states, "Plank exercises work your core muscles, which are located between your pelvic floor and diaphragm. The area is also known as your trunk. These muscles support your movements and stabilize the spine."
One type of workout that Homs enjoys doing is weight training. In her Instagram video, she is seen using things like hand weights and kettlebells. The National Institute on Aging states, "The more weight we contract against, the faster our bodies burn through reserves of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule that carries energy to cells. As we lift weights or do other demanding exercises, our ATP reserves are replenished through a complex, coordinated metabolic and chemical response that cascades through the entire body, including sparking short-term chemical changes in the DNA of muscle tissue that make them more tuned to specific proteins supporting sugar and fat metabolism."
"To protect against UV-induced skin cancer, the AAD recommends a comprehensive sun protection plan that includes seeking shade, wearing protective clothing, and applying a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to all skin not covered by clothing," says the AAD.

The model, once dubbed The Most Beautiful Girl in the World, shows off her incredible body in a bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts, photos taken during a recent trip. In one of the Instagram snaps she sits on the beach in a swimsuit top. One of her followers commented "The hottest tourist in Israel.
One of Thylane's health and beauty secrets? Getting enough rest. When asked by W Magazine her secret to flawless skin she responded: "A lot of sleep." How much sleep should you aim for? While it depends on your age, the CDC recommends anywhere from seven to nine hours per night. "Although the amount of sleep you get each day is important, other aspects of your sleep also contribute to your health and well-being. Good sleep quality is also essential," they add. "Signs of poor sleep quality include not feeling rested even after getting enough sleep, repeatedly waking up during the night, and experiencing symptoms of sleep disorders (such as snoring or gasping for air)."
Thylane's go-to coffee order? "Latte with ice cubes please," she captioned this image of her pick-me-up. Drinking moderate amounts of coffee has been linked to lower risk of cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes and Parkinson's disease, says the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Thylane spends a lot of time outdoors and loves swimming, in both pools and the ocean. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
"The best health advice I've received is …Take care of myself in doing sports. I'm boxing and running four times per week," Thylane told Russh. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say. Boxing is also a great workout "because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's hospital tells Harvard Health."You're swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you're in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you're strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs."
Thylane also maintains that hydration is a key part of her approach to health. "Drink a lot of water," she told Russh. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

ot's approach to diet is balanced and healthy. "Breakfast is usually porridge, and during the morning I'll have an immunity-boosting smoothie," she told Women's Health UK. 'I'll normally have a chicken salad for lunch, and for dinner I'll tuck into a tuna steak with sweet potato."
Margot is all about the occasional cheat meal. "Food is a big thing for me. I love burgers and fries, which I'll order with a pint of beer. Katie's main form of fitness is golfing. "Golf date?" she captioned a post. Why should you consider picking up a club? A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
Katie recently started wake surfing, also called wake boarding. She captioned this post: "teach me how to wake surf." According to the Australian government's Better Health, surfing, which is similar to wake boarding minus the paddling, provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness, and leg and core strength. "Once you're standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up," they say.
Katie also enjoys jet skiing. "Be my travel buddy," she captioned a photo of herself out in the water. According to Health Fitness Revolution, the average 150-pound rider will burn a surprising 238 calories during a half-hour ride. The sport is also great for cardiovascular endurance.
Katie loves soaking in hot water. "You'll find me here," she captioned a post. How can soaking in the hot tub, similar to baths do your body and mind good? It has been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that it may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
Katie also enjoys snow boarding. "Learned my lesson from last year," she joked in this photo, wearing a swimsuit while on the slopes. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. "Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles," they say. "Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer."
Katie also relies on good old-fashioned exercise to keep her in shape. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

In an Instagram video that Grimaldi posted, Fico is seen throwing a weighted ball and using battle ropes. Grimaldi captioned the post, "Those who don't sacrifice themselves don't achieve their results ??NO STOP."
Fico has an amazing set of abs. And she makes sure to do core workouts to maintain them. Grimaldi shared a video on Instagram of the two of them doing sit-ups while holding a medicine ball. The Mayo Clinic states that having a strong core has a lot of benefits. "Your core is the central part of your body. It includes your pelvis, lower back, hips and stomach. The stomach muscles sometimes are called abs. Core exercises train the muscles in your core to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and steadiness, also called stability. Stability is important whether you're on the playing field or doing regular activities. In fact, most sports and other physical activities depend on stable core muscles."
Fico loves to swim to stay in shape. She shared a set of photos on Instagram of herself taking a late-night dip in an infinity pool. Fico captioned the post, "'Like many travelers I have seen more than I remember and I remember more than I have seen.' BENJAMIN DISRAELI." Better Health states that swimming can, "Keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body. Builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness."

Vania makes a point of never skipping breakfast, as it means she is less hungry throughout the day. "Guys, don't skip breakfast," she says. "Why? Because if you skip breakfast, you're going to have so much lunch that you're going crazy, and end up eating anything. Breakfast can always give me enough energy until later [in the] afternoon."
Vania allows herself a 6-8 hour window to eat, and fasts for 16-18 hours. "When changes occur with this metabolic switch, it affects the body and brain," says Johns Hopkins neuroscientist Mark Mattson. "Many things happen during intermittent fasting that can protect organs against chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, age-related neurodegenerative disorders, even inflammatory bowel disease and many cancers."
Vania enjoys protein-heavy meals with plenty of fruit and green vegetables. "Well, for lunch, I just eat side dishes, for example, grilled chicken breast, tofu and tempeh," she says. "What is consumed (at dinner) must be lighter than during the day."
Rice is a staple food across the world, but Vania isn't a fan. "For me, it's a balance, sports and food," she says. "I haven't eaten white rice for 8 years." Rice lovers who want healthier options should opt for brown rice, experts say. "Compared with white rice, brown rice contains much higher amounts of fiber, certain B vitamins (B1, B3, B6, and B9), magnesium, potassium, and iron," says Harvard Health.
Vania knows there are no shortcuts when it comes to health. "So it's like food, I really think about it: I reduce fried food, I don't consume a lot of sweets," she says. "So it's really regulated and it has to be consistent. It can't be instant, lots of people want everything instant, but can't. So to get a good body, yes, be consistent with diet, exercise too. Build muscles, tighten muscles, you can't buy them at the doctor either."

"To go train, it takes me at least 10 minutes choosing what I'm going to wear, or if I don't prepare it the night before. I like to always be combined, so I am always worried about looking good and that my clothes are comfortable," she told La Tercera.
"I take care of what I eat," Isidora admitted to La Tercera. She has become stricter about the food she consumes over the years. "But obviously, doing this level of sport in the end you have to know more about nutrition, that you don't lack carbohydrates, proteins, things like that," she said. "The care is to eat at the corresponding hours and nutritious things," she added in another interview with La Tercera.
Obviously, Isidora's main form of exercise is running. "I really enjoy running and that's the most important thing," she told La Tercera. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
Isidora trains from Monday to Saturday for three to five hours, according to La Tercera. When she isn't running you can find her in the gym, lifting weights and doing a lot of ab work to prep her body for the track.
Isadora also prioritizes hydration, drinking water and energy drinks. "As a general rule, you should take one-third of your body weight and drink that number of ounces in fluids. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, aim to drink 50 ounces of water each day. However, it's best to talk to your doctor to determine how much water you should be drinking daily. They can review your medical history with you as well as any over-the-counter or prescription medications you're currently taking. Certain medications cause the body to flush out more water. And some medical conditions, such as cystic fibrosis, also make people more prone to dehydration," says the National Council on Aging.

In it, she posed on the rocks and by the water in different outfits. She captioned the post, "Life's a beach. Make a splash."
McNamara shared some of her favorite skincare products and tips with Harper's Bazaar. She says that she is particular about what products she chooses. "With my sensitive skin, I have to find a way to cut through all of the makeup products, while still not being too harsh on my skin," McNamara explains. She cites a face wash from Chanel as a favorite products. "This has a way of moisturizing and cleansing simultaneously, where it leaves your skin with the perfect level of cleanliness."
McNamara tells Harper's Bazaar that she makes sure to keep her skin moisturized. "I have experimented a lot with moisturizers over the years, with my skin changing as the years go by," she says. McNamara says that her favorite moisturizer is a jelly from Clinique. "And this is potentially my favorite moisturizer I have ever had. It's so hydrating for your skin, but it doesn't leave behind an oily residue that other moisturizers can leave behind."
McNamara opened up about the effect the pandemic had on her in a 2021 interview with Byrdie. "This pandemic has been sort of the best and biggest change that I've had in a long time. It has a silver lining in that it's caused me to slow down a little bit. I'm never a person that slows down. I love my job and I'm a huge workaholic, so I never stop moving. And if there's anything I've learned this year it's that sometimes it's good to take a brief pause and just reset and learn. And that's been the biggest positive."
McNamara tells Byrdie that she works out on a regular basis. "Fitness is a huge part of my life," she says. "So obviously not being able to go to the gym or spin class or boxing training—which are the things that I would normally do—I've been hiking and trail running and exploring ways in mu house and outside that I can still stay active and still feel good mentally and physically."
McNamara always makes time for herself. "I take an hour or two every day and that's my time to do something good for my body," she revealed to Byrdie. "I disconnect, throw on a podcast, and just take a minute to decompress. And that's my favorite time of day. I get up really early in the morning and usually get it done before the day starts. Sometimes I'll only get time to run for 10 minutes—but even if I do that, it just wakes me up, shakes the cobwebs out, and I'm able to start my day with a fresh perspective."

They captioned the post, "Despite her quick rise to fame, Angel has continued to stay unapologetically herself and allowed her confidence to always shine through, which is why we applaud her for the inspiration she has become both on and off the court."
Reese is all about being comfortable with herself. She talked about this to SI Swim. "I didn't think I was going to be comfortable," she says about the shoot. "But [everyone] made me feel really comfortable. I work out a lot. I embrace my body and who I am and every mark on my body."
After receiving criticism during a game, Reese was open about the double standards she faces as a black woman. "It's just being able to force people to accept that women can talk trash," she told SI Swim. "The women's side gets penalized for it or we're considered as not being ladylike and that we're not playing by the rules. We work just as hard as the men. Women can be who we are; women can be competitive."
Reese received a lot of support after her NCAA win. She told SI Swim that she is extremely grateful for all of it. "Having so many people come back to me and say, 'You guys have changed the game. You guys have been a part of history,' I embraced that. Just being able to be a part of this has just been amazing for me this year, and it's been a blessing."
Reese is all about being unapologetic. She opened up about this in a post-game press conference. "All year, I was critiqued about who I was. I don't fit in a box that y'all want me to be in. I'm too hood. I'm too ghetto. But when other people do it, y'all say nothing. So this was for the girls that look like me, that's going to speak up on what they believe in. It's unapologetically you."
Being a basketball player is naturally how Reese keeps herself in shape. Better Health states, "Basketball involves a lot of starting and stopping. While not renowned as an aerobic sport, it is still a great workout that can help you: Burn calories (an hour of basketball can burn 630–750 calories). Build endurance. Improve balance and coordination. Develop concentration and self-discipline. Build up muscle."

more...Paige Woolen is a model. She's an influencer. And she's the brains behind the Dudes In DMs Instagram account. Woolen shares a lot of stunning photos on her Instagram account. Recently, she posted a new set of photos of herself in a burnt orange two-piece swimsuit. Woolen captioned the post, "In my overwhelmed era."
Woolen opened up about her career as a model and influencer in an interview with BitchMedia.org. She says that she does things to build her self-confidence in order to help with her career. "I think we get so attached to seeing this essentially flawless version of ourselves that it's hard to hold a boundary. I say daily affirmations to myself in the mirror when I wake up, and I won't check social media for an hour before bed. Having a routine to get your brain out of the social-media bubble is extremely important."
Social media isn't just a job for Woolen. She tells BitchMedia.org that it is also a way of helping with her career. "Modeling is such an interesting job for exactly those reasons. When you're doing a 'job' for someone else and they're paying you, their idea of how you look can quickly become everything to you. It can really mess with your brain and your self-image. That's why I find so much value in social media. On my Instagram or TikTok, I can look any way that I choose, I can say what I want—and that's ultimate control and empowerment."
Woolen revealed her reasons for creating Dudes In The DM to BitchMedia.org. She says that she wants to help other women, and is willing to face the harassment because of this. "I absolutely faced internal conflict after exposing men to their partners, but only briefly, and the conflict wasn't morally based. When the story first went viral, I was shocked at how much hate I was getting (mostly from men). I was called a rat; I received death threats. People were even saying I should be arrested. Naturally, I panicked. But after the initial shock settled and I reread the messages from the women I helped, I knew I had done the right thing. People who bully or cheat want to be kept in the dark. They don't want the truth to come out, and it angers them when they could possibly be exposed. There were a ton of accounts posting my photos and warning men about me. There were men claiming they are the true victims. But if you're not being shady, you have nothing to worry about."
Woolen tells BitchMedia.org that she is transparent on social media about using filters and getting plastic surgery. She says that she doesn't want people to follow beauty standards or feel pressure. "I am as open about plastic surgery as I am about filters. We live in a world where literally anything is possible! You can alter anything on your body that you aren't happy with. I recently got all the fat sucked out of my body and then shoved in my butt. That's insane!"
Woolen shared what she values in a person, specifically a romantic partner, to Maxim. "True kindness. I think being kind is overlooked these days especially in the wake of social media. You can tell what someone has or what they look like but you're unable to see who they truly are when the mask is off."

Tammy maintains that meditation was a game changer for her. "Meditating really changed my life when I first really discovered its power," she wrote in a 2021 Instagram post. "One of the first times I tried it I got into a deep meditation & had a full out of body experience completely disconnected from my physical being and there was really no looking back from there. I decided then I would dedicate my life to becoming the healthiest happiest version of myself. Meditating for even just 10 minutes a day can help relieve stress, calm your mind & clear it of negative thoughts, and help you really focus on the present ? There's no doubt in my mind meditation has helped me not just in daily life but even in my businesses & creativity."
"I honestly feel better when I get my workout in, less sluggish and I find it easier to keep up with my kids," Tammy told New Idea about one of her motivations to sweat. "I honestly feel better when I get my workout in, less sluggish and I find it easier to keep up with my kids. Whether it's a gym workout or HIIT home workout I always try to fit it in when I can."
"I used to work out a lot more before having my kids but currently, I work out 3-4 times a week," Tammy told Women's Best. "I find this is enough for me right now because I've been working out consistently for years and I know my body and when to increase or decrease my calories to help with my goals."
Tammy maintains a clean diet. "For me lean protein like chicken breast, turkey and fish, really helps, but I find that with trying to build my booty I wasn't consuming the amount of protein I needed so supplements like protein shakes helped too," she told New Idea. "But I didn't supplement my meals with these it was always a combination of both. I needed to eat lots to build that area so I also ate lots of complex carbohydrates like brown rice, oatmeal, potatoes and healthy fats." For breakfast she usually eats oatmeal, infused with protein powder. Then, post workout, a protein shake, "and love to eat fish, chicken, turkey, beans and vegetables," she adds. "I've been trying to cut back on meat lately which I have found difficult. I usually end my day with oats and protein again. Boring I know!"
Tammy is all about eating small meals consistently. "I eat every two to three hours," she told New Idea.
Tammy regularly mixes up her diet. "I don't like to limit myself too much if I'm working towards a specific goal. For example, if I want to reduce my weight, I will choose to switch to a weight loss meal plan which involves eating fewer calories. Lucky, I have low and high-calorie plans in my App Tammy Fit so I usually follow the recipes in there and switch between regular, vegetarian and sometimes vegan," she told Women's Best.
Does Tammy do cheat meals? "Yes, I do and they're usually on the weekend," she confessed to Women's Best. "My favorite cheat meal right now is spicy chicken wings." "The main reason we listed chicken and turkey as healthy sources of protein is that they have relatively low levels of saturated fat compared with red meat, which, for nutrition purposes, includes beef, lamb, and pork," says Harvard Health. "Look at the chart below. You can see there's about half as much saturated as unsaturated fat in chicken and turkey fat. By comparison, beef and pork fat contain a good deal more saturated fat than chicken and turkey fat and less unsaturated fat."
