Lisa Snowdon sizzled as she slipped into a racy bikini for a steamy Instagram post on Friday.

The TV presenter and model, 52, who is enjoying a half term holiday with her family, looked incredible in the skimpy two piece as she enjoyed a dip in the pool.

Alongside the video where she posed in the khaki number and jumped into the pool, she wrote: 'Body confidence on holiday for me always starts with good swimwear- the fit is crucial.

'I’m a different size up top to my bottom half and I find a lot of the bottoms go baggy and saggy and have too much material which I don’t think is very flattering - it’s not for everyone a more skimpy pair of pants but my suggestion is, try you might quite like it.

'I asked @bytaramatthews to design me a few bikinis and swimsuits that were cut with a more Brazilian shape on the bum.'

'My advice - Invest in good swimwear - a great bikini that supports your bust and fits your bottom as we are all shaped uniquely - and/or a swimsuit, that fits you so well you feel so confident on the beach or by the pool. Look after them- rinse them out each day- hang dry and they’ll last for years and years.'

The TV presenter went on to say: 'Get in touch with @bytaramatthews look on her website, so many styles to choose from - everything can be adapted and colours can be changed/ also a brilliant swimwear brand for anyone who’s had a mastectomy'.

She then revealed: 'Spoiler ‼️ some of Tara’s pieces are going to be featured in the new season of White Lotus in 2025! Soooo exciting!'

Christen Harper credits plant-based diet for keeping her bikini-ready

When it came time to slip into a skimpy swimsuit, Christen Harper was ready for her close-up.

The model was photographed by Ben Watts in Portugal for the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The outlet is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

The fiancée of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff told Fox News Digital following a plant-based diet has been her secret to looking — and feeling — her best in swimwear.

"I’m a longtime animal lover," said the 30-year-old. "I never wanted to do anything that would hurt them. That’s what initially made me make the switch to a more plant-based lifestyle.

"I live in California, the mecca for that kind of eating," she chuckled. "So, it hasn’t been too hard. But it’s a choice I made to just eat vegetables. … For me, it was an easy choice, and it makes me feel so good. I feel like I’m glowing from the inside out just eating that type of food. … And I have a fun time trying to come up with more plant-forward recipes."

The new issue of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit was published May 17 with seven covers. For her spread, Harper insisted she didn’t have to take on a new diet to get in shape. Her usual routine had given her plenty of confidence. But stocking up on fruits and veggies over animal products hasn’t always been easy, she admitted.

"I’m a quarter Japanese, so I grew up eating so much Japanese food, which included a lot of sushi," said Harper. "For me, that was the hardest part, to kind of let that go. It has been so much a part of my childhood and growing up. But there are so many good plant-based alternatives these days. I love a tofu roll or an avocado roll. You can get the same feeling and still go to a sushi bar.

"I realized the most important part about food is sharing the experience with the people you’re with," she shared. "It doesn’t matter what you’re eating as long as you feel like you’re a part of the experience. So, I still love going to sushi bars and eating delicious Japanese food. I just pick veggie options. … Everything else has been pretty easy."

Harper said those who are curious have plenty of options these days to savor plant-based dishes without compromising on taste.

"That’s the first cardinal rule. You have to go out and do whatever it is you want to do," said Harper. "If you like dining out with friends and going to restaurants, don’t miss out on that. It doesn’t have to be so black and white.

"First, you can try going plant-based at home. You can start slow, adding a few plant-forward ingredients to your meals or trying a new plant-forward recipe. Remember, you’re choosing to feed your body. Have fun with it. And, personally, that was the most fun thing about going plant-based — dining out at restaurants.

"Many restaurants these days have plant-based options," Harper noted. "But if you notice that the menu doesn’t show a lot of options, I’ll ask the server to have the chef come up with a fun plant-based dish. It allows the chef to be creative or try a recipe they don’t normally get a chance to make, just for you. It might just be a bunch of different veggie sides put together, but usually, they love getting that opportunity to make something unique. And it’s fun to try something different, something you wouldn’t usually order.

"But almost everything can be turned more plant-based," Harper added. "Even Taco Bell. One of my favorite things there is swapping out the meat for beans. I can get a delicious taco or Crunchwrap Supreme anywhere just the way I like it. And sometimes going plant-based is as simple as making a little switch from meat to beans, or meat to veggies. It’s about getting a little creative and making it fun and delicious."

Harper said when she’s not hitting the waves at the beach, she likes to try new recipes at home.

"My go-to is always pasta," said Harper. "I love to make a spicy rigatoni with a homemade sauce that’s all plant-based. I love to make soups and rice bowls with fresh seasonal veggies. I am not the best cook, but I’m learning to get better. Right now, I’m doing a sourdough baking experiment. That’s my next journey. I’ll let you know how that goes."

Harper said posing for the magazine has given her a body confidence boost.

Gabby Allen has shared a candid Instagram post detailing her struggles with body confidence as she posted gallery of bikini-clad snaps on Thursday.

The Love Island star, 32, showed off her toned physique in a skimpy white bikini and in a lengthy caption admitted she's 'trying to reframe how she perceives herself'.

In her post, Gabby shared a list of body parts she's struggled to accept in recent years, and said that while others assume she's fully embraced her body, that is far from the case.

Gabby, who last month underwent a correct boob job after botched surgery, showed off her gym-honed figure in the barely-there white bikini in the collection of snaps.

She wrote: '5ft 2, big wonky ribs, hip dips, no waist - straight up and down, not thin enough but definitely not fat enough to moan, flat chested, chunky legs, arms too wide in pictures, bum not perky enough, not quite pretty enough…

'These are just a few of the things I have been given a hard time for AND/OR given myself a hard time over in the past and for transparency, some.

'I still have back and forth with now - apart from the flat chestedness… not any more b*****s!

'Sometimes (all the time) I worry about how I come across on social media, I don't wanna be too IN YA FACE, or appear ''big headed'' or sl***y or not fitness enough or not fashun enough or just like a t**t

'But then I see some other girls posts and I'm like YES girl! They look unreal and I would love to post similar stuff but the I don't because of ALL of the above- people's opinions and my opinion of myself.

'The reason I'm writing this is because I'm sure there are people out there, and I've been told people think I'm dead confident and have 'my sh*t together' but in actual fact, I don't at all & that's okay.

Tyne Lexi-Clarson flaunts her amazing body

Tyne Lexi-Clarson is heating up social media in her swimsuit. In a recent post the Love Island hottie flaunts her amazing body in a bathing suit, sending her followers into a frenzy. "Wow absolutely amazing," one commented. "Perfection," added another.

Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In a video, Tyne-Lexy revealed that she "hit rock bottom" after appearing on Love Island when her weight "ballooned." Instead of taking drastic measures, Clarson opted to lose weight the healthy way. "I didn't want to do anything unhealthy and I wanted to ensure that my weight loss came about through exercise and diet improvements," she said.

Clarson stays accountable by tracking her progress. "It was great looking at the pictures each week and seeing my body firming up. After every session, I feel a little bit fitter, my body was a little more taut and I always felt that I was moving in the right direction…" she said. "If you really knuckle down, it is perfectly possible to make quite big changes to your physique in six weeks. Taking the pictures was a great motivator because I was determined that I would look a little fitter in each one."

Meal replacement drinks are a "great way to boost the progress I was already making through diet and exercise," Clarson said. "They give you that extra push and I wouldn't have hit my target in six weeks without them."

Clarson maintains that her six week transformation turned into a lifestyle. "'I have got all my body confidence back," she said. "This isn't a short-term fix – I have got more energy, I feel more comfortable in my body and I going to carry on with all the good habits I have picked up in the last six weeks."

Brooke Burke, 51, poses in bikini, shares message of empowerment

Brooke Burke is sharing her thoughts on bikinis.

The Dancing With the Stars alum, 51, took to Instagram on Thursday to share photos of herself on the beach, where she sported a yellow string bikini. In her caption, she wrote, “When asked my opinion on ‘women my age and #bikinis’.... I'm not quite sure I understand the question. Is your age a limitation, or an opportunity to go deeper In exploring your self-confidence? Personally string bikinis are my fav at every stage! Dress for yourself not your age. Does age affect freedom? Does age effect sex appeal? Do you believe that self-confidence is ageless? I do. Let's talk.”

Her followers loved the message. One commented, “Self confidence is everything. We can wear whatever we want, whenever we want to,” to which Burke responded, “Yaaasss. Aren't we so lucky. Not every woman has that choice.”

The fitness personality, who has her own wellness app called Brooke Burke Body, previously spoke to Yahoo Life about the supposed end of one’s bikini years.

"You should have a bikini cutoff age when you stop feeling good in your bikini," Burke noted. "And I don't want to say 'looking good.' And I don't want to say when somebody else thinks you stopped looking good. All shapes and sizes are hot and in right now, all sizes are relevant and trending right now."

Burke also said that she now has a philosophy that’s more about feeling good than looking good.

"It's about understanding your lifestyle ... and setting attainable goals and designing a lifestyle, not a quick fix," she explained. "Not this, 'I'm going to pop this pill or starve myself or never eat carbs again and shock my body. And then I'm going to put it all back on in three weeks.' Find something you enjoy. Not everybody loves fitness. I get that, so make it fun. Get an accountability buddy, do it with a partner, do it with your family."

In April of 2021, the mom of four also spoke to Yahoo Life about why it’s important for her to have body confidence as she gets older — especially so that she can be a role model for that for younger people.

“I'm going to be 50 this year, yet it's just a number and I feel happier, and healthier at this stage in this decade of my life,” she said at the time. “So, I think that comes from a much deeper place. It's not just about body sculpting and getting that bikini body and having a bubble butt, that's the easy part of my philosophy. It's how we feel inside and body confidence is really important, especially for young women.”

Vicky Pattison put on a confident display in a busty brown bikini as she posed in a hot tub for sizzling new snaps.

'Don't be the lass sweating your tits off in a kaftan because you're worried about your love handles, be the girl cannonballing onto the pool and showing everyone that being beautiful is about confidence - not a clothes size.

'So to anyone caught in a cycle of disordered eating or unkind thoughts I'm here to tell you that you're absolutely perfect, exactly as you are and that I hope you know that!'

Explaining she wanted to demonstrate how being on her period changes the appearance of her body. She wrote: 'This is not a transformation pic, not a before and after weight loss pic. The only difference? I was on my period in the picture on the left and not on my period in the picture on the right.' 'You are so much more than a clothes size or number on a scale.' She wrote in summary: 'Throughout the course of our lives our bodies are going to change.'Why are we still so cruel to ourselves and our changing bodies?'

She went on: 'We need to be more accepting of life's ebbs and flows and our body's evolution. We need to stop beating ourselves up for every pound gained or every bit of muscle definition lost.'

She candidly added: 'As someone who has actively hated my body for years, I know learning to accept your changing body and love the skin you're in can be difficult.

'It took me till my 30s to realize that there is so much more to life than having a thigh gap, a perfectly flat stomach, or being a size 6.

'I urge you all to stop forcing your body to be something it doesn't want to be, stop punishing it - instead be proud of everything it has got you through, wear your scars proudly and just embrace the change.'

Ashley James, 33, penned a love letter to herself this week after receiving messages from fans who are struggling with body image.

Championing body positivity, the popular personality flaunted her fabulous figure in a red bikini as Baz Luhrmann's spoken word song, Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen) played during a short video.

The DJ said the song, which features the lyrics: "You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded," reminded her to worry less about how her body looks.

She flaunted her figure in scarlet string bikini with scallop-edged while splashing around in a tiny paddling pool in her sun-soaked garden.

The blonde beauty also wiggled her bottom and grabbed the flesh on her stomach for the camera.

Echoing the song that topped the charts in 1999, Ashley said in the future you'll remember what your body has allowed you to experience "not what size you were".

Her length post read: "A love letter to my body."

"I've had a lot of messages from people, mainly girls, saying they're struggling with body image or weight gain, especially after so much (unnecessary) attention on Adele's weight loss."

"...Anyway, I decided to film a little love letter to my body," she continued.

Irish singer Lyra has embarked on a body positivity journey

The Cork native opened up about the lack of body confidence she has and said she's doing her best to work on it.

The singer revealed that she didn't share a swimsuit photo because she was nervous about the fact "it stays there forever".

Lyra shared the gorgeous snap to her story and eventually worked up the courage to share it on her main feed.

She told how she received tons of messages from women, praising her honesty online.

Speaking Lyra said: "This is a new journey for me, I'm really trying to get into this body confidence in myself.

"And I didn't post that photo for ages I actually only put it on my story because I was too nervous to put it on my page because it stays there forever.

"I got so many amazing messages from women saying, 'Thank you for sharing this, my daughter's all in social media and I want her to see women like you sharing things like this.'

"And actually it was those women sending those messages that gave me the confidence to put that picture up."

Lyra admitted she felt "annoyed" at herself for not having the confidence to share the picture originally.

She explained: "I was actually really annoyed at myself that I didn't have the confidence to put it up at the start but it's something that I am learning.

"I suppose when you're in the light, people think you must be really confident but I'm really not.

"Especially when it comes to my body, even though the outfits I wear you'd think I was.

"But I'll never let my body take over what I want to wear, I'll always wear what I want to wear and I just want other people to try and get to that place."

In the photo Lyra shared, she wore a black swimsuit and stood in front of the sea.

The singer told that "cellulite is normal" and urged everyone to love every part of themselves.

She captioned the stunning snap: "I posted this 'sun, sea and cellulite' pic to my story and I was blown away with the amount of people thanking me for normalizing cellulite.

"Cellulite is normal, stretch marks are normal, body hair is normal, gaining weight is normal…I mean the list goes on!

"I’m not going to lie it took me a while to press post and I’m annoyed at myself about that, but it’s something I’m working on.

"I posted a video on my YouTube channel talking about my road to self love and body confidence," Emily captioned a photo of herself on Instagram. "It took me a long time to feel comfortable in my body. I’ve fluctuated over the years from a double zero to a size 10 and I remember being so embarrassed and ashamed of that.

"I wish I was kinder to myself because I am only human but I thought models were meant to be a 00 and stay a 00," she continued.

"I was always hesitant to talk about body positivity or body diversity because I am aware being a size 6 or 8 is nothing ground breaking but in the modeling industry, my size hasn’t always been represented, celebrated or accepted. For me, feeling comfortable in my skin has taken a lot of work and effort and I wanted to share that.

The former SI Swimsuit model admits that after a lot of rejection early in her career, she was willing to do "whatever it takes" to start booking jobs. That included eating as little as possible and working out as often as possible, which ultimately led to a thinner frame but fragile mental state.

"I was lonely. I was homesick. I missed my friends," she recalls in the video. "I didn't know what I was doing in this big city. I didn't know anyone.

"I didn't even know how to make new friends because, like, making friends as an adult is actually very hard," she said. "I was going to castings, and I still wasn't getting great feedback."

Emily remembers feeling embarassed when she eventually gained the weight back, because she felt like she was failing the agencies and people who believed in her. After landing a spot in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Emily, who hated her first year of photos, was shocked to find she started working more than ever. The New York-based model is now "at peace" with her body and determined never to let a brand or individual opinion ruin her self-confidence again.

Aysha Khan show body confidence and empowerment in a different way

A Miss England finalist broke pageant conventions by submitting photos of herself in a wetsuit for the optional swimsuit round of the competition, earning herself a position in the top 20.

Although the swimsuit round was banned in 2010, as part of the pageant, contestants can enter themselves into the optional Miss Beach Beauty competition, with the winner awarded a trip to Mauritius.

Winners are also fast-tracked into the top 20 of the overall Miss England competition.

Aysha Khan, 21, from Blackburn, Lancashire, was the only contestant of 49 entrants to choose a full-body swimming costume a choice she made to show you don't have to wear a bikini to feel confident.

According to Khan, who is Muslim, she did not want to submit a photo in a bikini, but still wanted to participate so she chose to enter with her unique take on swimwear.

Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph about her submission, Khan said she wanted to stay true to herself and her background, while also empowering others.

“I wanted to show a different take on swimwear, and that you don’t have to wear a bikini to go to the beach,” Khan said. “It’s a choice to dress with less clothing, it’s also a choice to dress with more and both are equally as empowering as the other as it’s a personal choice and feeling.
